Vehicle not ready when promised, not even on site. But mistakes happen. No big deal. We’re all human, right? Mistakes happen. But......Rude staff. Absolutely rude. No one called, to let me know of their delay. That’s the real issue here. Why be rude? I show up and all I get is a foul attitude. Not really a good reason for it. In this day and age, a friendly smile and a little apology means so much. But this little man working today had an obvious “kiss my a$$ attitude”.... and that along with his mock faceplate of civility, and for THAT reason, I won’t be back. Management needs to focus on better selection and/or training. Teach people to be friendly, offer an apology, just be kind. This little guy, who didn’t even offer his name, or card, nor wearing a name tag....shouldn’t be allowed to interact with customers. Maybe accounting should be his focus, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Politeness and customer service totally lacking today.EDIT: I had to go back and the fellow mentioned in this review was a LOT nicer. So I raised the star rating a notch. I actually said “you’re being so nice and cordial now, but earlier you were pretty much an a$$hole”. We chuckled, talked, had a super pleasant and open conversation. From a customers standpoint, we customers gotta keep in mind that everyone has a bad day once in a while, and if they were getting slammed, the last thing they wanted to see show up was another customer and their vehicle isn’t ready.
Car had some scuffs, scratches, paint damage. Broken hardware in the inside. Customer service was good.After needing auto repairs, not at fault, repairs took 3 additional days while using rental car. I was charged for the extra days; however, Enterprise reached out and credited me the costs. Much appreciated from them. Manager went out of his way to make things right.
Warning, go to another Enterprise! This Enterprise needs new upper management and workers. They’re attitude was dismissive and selfish! If you hate your job Greenwood and you don’t want to deal with people, you go look for another job! No one forced you to work in customer service industry. One thousand people would want your job too! Your reputation shows in recent months too. Hopefully, you don’t encounter getting a job with someone else in the future who you apply for, because the way you treated-them. They might be the prospective hiring manager.
We rented a mid-size SUV for our family vacation (2 adults and 2 teen boys) to FLA. Everything went very smoothly from check-in to returning. The only issue we had was we were given a Mitsubishi eclipse cross and told that it was a mid-size SUV. When you look up that SUV it clearly states that it is a compact SUV. We could barely get two suitcases in the back. and there was no room for anything else. There were no choice to change SUVs because they were completely booked the day we were leaving. I wish that we were able to see for sure which vehicle we would be receiving and not just a similar type
We reserved a car to pick up while on the way to this location. The salesperson told us they close at 2, which they do - respectable. They said they close right at 2pm though, and not a minute over. A gentleman approaches the door at around 2 minutes after 2 oclock. They speak with the salesperson, who then talks to them and helps them nearly five minutes past 2 when they told us that we could not be helped even a minute past 2. The salesperson and gentleman approach the very car we had reserved, and it is rented to him. I am very unhappy with this experience. We will not be renting from, or going to, this Enterprise location ever again.
After years and years of loyal patronage, we were 1.5 hrs late returning a rental. It was also returning after hours so no one was available when we called. We were charged for another full day (Sunday when there was no one there to re-rent the vehicle anyway). When I called to request I not be charged for the full day having only missed the 24 cycle by 1.5 hrs and confirming my many rentals without an issue, they refused to credit the days charge back. I accept it was my error but I have been loyal for nearly 25 years. Where is the loyalty going the other way? Even my auto insurance forgives one accident! Its okay though, there are at least 5 other rental options within the same driving distance. Enterprise, you are a commodity, not a necessity. You really should try to remember that. Looks like National or Hertz will get my business now until/unless they too forget how to take care of loyal customers. Also, as the Sourcing manager for my company, we may be making a change to or cooperate provider as well.
One of the best, if not the best, rental experience I have had. Very easy reservation online, pick up, and drop off. The vehicle was very clean and much nicer than I was expecting. Excellent customer service from the gentleman who reviewed the vehicle with me and help me when I returned the car.
Cole was super nice and friendly! We shared a laugh at the experience of Trying and succeeding at outsmarting a smart car! Lol
They rarely seem to have what I book and half the time the car isn’t very clean, is overdue for an oil change, or some of the electronics don’t work. It seems they sold all of their good cars during the pandemic and kept the lemons. I’m shocked that giving someone a crossover when they’re paying for a standard SUV wouldn’t be considered fraud.
Flew into Greenwood, Indy South, airport. The FBO directed us to Enterprise, just south of their facility. We called ahead and set up the vehicle. The two gentlemen that met us there were friendly and professional, and helped us to our car right away. The first car had been smoked in so we switched to a little Chevy Spark. Thought the price was a bit high for this economy car. Turn in the next day was simple; we could actually drop off this vehicle at the FBO and Enterprise would pick it up later. This was very convenient.

I had a great experience renting my vehicle from the Greenwood Enterprise Rental agency on Rt 31 in Greenwood IN. The staff was very professional and all safety measures were taken. I decided to rent from the Greenwood location after researching the prices compared to the closer Franklin location, Greenwood was less expensive and after calling both locations. The customer service at the Greenwood location was exceptional. I would recommend them highly. Weve used this location in the past and will do so again.
This is the second time we have rented from this enterprise location and will be the last.Both times have been a hassle and and struggle to deal with.This time the office called the day before our rental and asked us if we could pick up our rental a day early because they were expected to be very busy for spring break, and there would be a $25 dollar fee for doing them a favor. (seems like bs to charge me a fee for doing them a favor because they will be too busy to service their customers but ok). I asked if it was ok for my wife to pick up the rental because I was at work and could not get there before they closed.I was told that this would be ok she would just be added as a driver, when my wife arrived to pickup the rental we found out that they had completely changed to reservation and created a new one with my wives name, removed our cooperate discount, would not honor it because they said my wife was not an employee (technically true but the discount should been added free of charge because they changed the rental agreement) and added $200 to the price of the rental contract.My wife called me at work to help get the problems fixes because the gentleman that was attempting help was worthless and unwilling to help out, he refused to get a store manager after I asked to speak with them at least 6 times.When I finally got a store manager they would not honor the discount, I told them to just put the reservation back the way it was and I would pick up the car myself the next day ( the original day we had set to pick up), I was told that the class of car we rented ( a full size SUV) would not be available and we would probably get a mini van.This is the second time they have not had the class we rented, the last time we rented a luxury car, they did not have one so they gave us a convertible stating that it was an upgrade, perception is reality here. a convertible may be a upgrade but its not what we wanted or rented, we wanted a luxury car for space and to be comfortable. It was a very unpleasant ride in this vehicleWhen we returned we were charged an extra $100 for the rental, AGAIN I had to call and question my bill, I was told oh Im not sure it looks like we charged you an extra day for some reason we should not have done thatUnless you plan to spend a lot of time on the phone fixing rental contracts and billing AND you do not expect to get the kind of vehicle you rent than stay far away from this location.UPDATE: I responded to the care email with a response that a regional manager would contact me. I responded with a couple questions. CRICKETS for days. If they cared a regional manager would make time to contact their customers. Clearly as shown by their business practices do not CARE about the customers they serve.There are many other choices in car rental that would be happy to serve you with a much more pleasant experience. I hope customers read this before making their reservations.
We worked with Sean at the Greenwood location off of US 31. He was patient with us even with our changing the vehicle type multiple times. His recommendation of the Chrysler Pacifica was spot on! It handled well, comfortable, spacious and held at least 6 luggage bags, infant with car seat and 4 adults!
Nothing to complain about with this particular branch. They have put me in a decent vehicle every time I’ve come here. In fact, not only did they put me in a good vehicle, they had a vehicle they wanted me to drive as an upgrade for the same price as the vehicle I was already renting. I will continue to use them. Very professional, very kind, very thoughtful.

Highly recommend! I needed to rent a car during this pandemic to escort two of my children south for summer visitation. I am not yet comfortable with traveling via plane. Enterprise was extremely professional, closed their lobby to ensure social distancing, all wore masks and had systems/tools in place to comfortably reassure me of cleanliness.The car I rented was great. It was clean, exactly to my standards and was the correct option I reserved.Upon return - the same safety/health guidelines were followed and drop off was simple and contactless.Will duplicate this scenario in July upon retrieving my kiddos!
Well I was suppose to pick my car up at the Franklin office and they didn’t have my car so had to go to Greenwood to pick the car up. Well I got the car and headed out to leave on vacation and the check oil light came on. So I had to return the car for another. Well I filled the car up with gas and was told I would get a credit for it and received nothing. I have rented cars from enterprise numerous times but this may be the last time.
Reasonably priced vehicles and great customer service. I filled out everything online when I placed my reservation and when I got to the store I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Super easy return too!
I have had only bad experiences at this location (801 US Highway 31 S, Greenwood, IN). I have been overcharged numerous times and had other billing issues that have sometimes required me to spend hours on the phone and took a month to resolve. The cars are not properly maintenance and often have feedback (vibrations) coming through the steering wheel, broken vents, and various maintenance indicators. The management team has done a decent job trying to resolve issues, but the problems should have never occurred in the first place. Their customer facing staff is also incredibly rude (more often the college or recently graduated men). The agents only do an assessment/walk-around on the vehicles maybe 10% of the time, which I know is against company policy. If it weren’t for the positive experiences I have had at literally any other location, I would leave Enterprise all together and never come back.
The young man that helped us was absolutely amazing. Very kind and was very professional. I dont remember his name but he was awesome. Will definitely come back for our next rental..
I have been standing out in the cold for 25 mins and no one has even yet to acknowledge me, my appointment was 25 minutes ago. This is by far the worst rental car service I have ever had. Going on 53 minutes and still no rental...
Couldnt give it 5 stars because the car had obviously been smoked. Even without turning on the fan/air conditioner one could smell the smoke. With the fan on it was ever more increased!
Long line was an inconvenience but it is expected now that people are traveling again. This wasn’t Enterprises’ fault. The employees were helpful and walked me to my car for an inspection. They were very friendly and nice. They gave me a discount for my long wait time and I really appreciated that. I will use them again. Thank you.

Beware of extra charges they hit me over the head on a additional driver not telling me and just adding it to my bill at the end I told them my son from day 1 would be a driver as well as myself. Hard for me to believe that a extra daily charge.The Van when we got it I still had to be cleaned up a bit before I put my family in it. Spills and food spills in the seat’s. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t detailed like a local car wash was would clean your car.

So first off, when I rented the car from enterprise I was on my way to my destination and it was about a day of having the car and theyre blowing up my phone because they forgot to get my credit card information... so first impressions werent to good. Gave them my card info and they charged me for only the insurance plan I purchased. About 2 weeks roll around and they want to charge me 50 extra dollars for fees they forgot to tell me about after I rented the car. How ironic. Plus they wont charge me the original quote they gave me. Wont help me out at all. Wouldnt ever recommend renting a car from them EVER.
Horrible experience when we encountered a flat tire and could not get any assistance even from Enterprise Roadside assistance. No one would answer at the branch or at roadside assistance. We were 10.5 hours from home and in a 15 passenger van. Had to end up driving with no spare all the way home and hoping for the best. Also was scheduled to pick up vehicle at 3pm and waited in line outside the building until 4:15pm. Why schedule a pick up time? Left a note on the steering wheel and received a call from manager asking me to call back before 2pm. When I called at noon she had left for the day. Never heard back from her. I understand COVID has made things difficult, but they still need to provide assistance to their customers.
We picked a Nissa Sentra at our local Enterprise. I had reserved online was hassle free and quick. The car was clean an fuel efficient, nearly 40 mpg on the hiway. 2600 carefree miles in 10 days. All good!!
Super customer service and friendly staff! I called pretty much last minute to be picked up and it was no sweat. The person who picked me up was on time and we chatted the whole way back to the office. AND he held the door for me to the office! The young man who checked me in and got my information in the system was beyond personable. We chatted about psychology, the fog, and Dunkin Donuts coffee (my favorite). He and Kirk both made sure I had enough time to get to work which was very appreciated. And let me tell you about Kirk....lovely, professional without being stuffy, and very accommodating. When the car I was given had an issue he took care of it asap. I will definitely be back to this location when I need to rent a car. Excellent experience

Worst experience ever with enterprise. I was using a business account and the supervisor was very incompetent on booking with a corporate account. She was publicly rude and blamed my company stating they were cheap. Very rude and unprofessional. Once I received the car it smelled like an ash tray, was dirty and very low on gas. I notified the desk staff and they were again very rude. I filed a complaint with the corporate office.
Enterprise never lets me down!!! The employees are Outstanding and the car rentals are always in great condition.
I wish I could give them 10 Stars... I rented twice from this location both times for vacation August and October 2019. Awesome staff, friendly, helpful clean place inside and out. Very caring and detailed for your needs. I highly recommend this place. I will keep coming here and let all friends and family know as well. Oh and a very nice selection of autos too.I rented another mini van for a recent vacation in September 2020. Again this place I feel is the best in Indianapolis even during pandemic. I enjoyed that minivan driving during a out of State vacation. It got a bit dirty so before I returned I ran it through a car wash and cleaned the inside out. Hated to give it up lol. The staff here really helped us out when the Budget rental car facility treated us like trash. We booked same day and they were awesome in finding us a vehicle on a super busy day, having it cleaned quickly and giving us some water while we waited. All rental car companies should be like this!
I have always went to Enterprises Car Rental, and will continue. They have always met my needs when I have needed a vehicle. They even went as far as to make sure I had a same model vehicle as mine, when I was involved in a crash, and mine was in the shop. The service is great, the employees are always courteous. Would highly recommend them.

Awesome to work with! Their customer service blew me out of the water and I’m so happy we used them for our rental. They even “picked us up” even though we were technically out of their service area. After we returned the vehicle, they called and followed up on how everything went. I had a small complaint about something that was definitely my fault, but they totally refunded it. Cannot say enough good things!

I got in and out quick, the price was the lowest around and the car we got was comfortable for 4 adults on a 12 hour drive. 40 mph was nice too.This was my fourth rental from this place in 2 years. I have no reason to go anywhere else.
Enterprise provided a quick response with an urgent rental request when my only vehicle broke down. They dropped off a rental at the dealership and I was back on the road shortly.

I was very pleased with the way I was treated when I picked up the rental car on Saturday morning. The car was not what I had requested, a premium vehicle, which I needed because of driving Tim I would be in the car. Also, the seats were not clean. I mentioned this to Andrew when I returned it on Sunday. He was very apologetic and professional about the situation and adjusted the bill accordingly. Because of how Andrew handled the situation, I will continue to utilize Enterprise every time I need a rental vehicle.

They made the task of getting a rental car ASAP so easy. I needed a car when my brakes suddenly. This of course happened during Spring Break when there are not any rental cars to be found. The were not only able to get a car but they were so polite and professional during thus hectic time. Great experience and I would definitely recommend this location.
The Enterprise Team at the US 31 location in Greenwood, Indiana were excellent. It was a very difficult time for my son whos car was badly damaged after he was rear ended at a stop light in Greenwood. No fault of his, but we had to deal with the situation at end. My son needed a car. Everyone at Enterprise Rent A Car was extremely helpful in working with our insurance company in getting things coordinated during the entire time that the damaged car was in for major repairs. They followed up with phone calls, worked with Insurance Company on payment terms, did everything properly and professionally. Job well done. Enterprise gets 5 Stars in our book. Great company and Store to work with regarding Rental Vehicles. We will use them again, as they really do go beyond normal customer service. Very impressed. Keep up the good work. You guys are the best.
It was my 1st time and yes they got me for some extra money. Very smart people over there in Enterprise Rent-A-Car they wait until youre sitting in the drivers seat car running and then they hit you with the roadside service the extra insurance paying for the gas. whos my first time renting a car so Ive learned my lesson but at least the guy was super nice about it I mean everybody in that building 100% great customer service also to my deposit was immediately put back into my account after I return the car which was a blessing

The company I work for has Enterprise as its preferred vendor. The location on 31 just south of Smith Valley has always treated me with courtesy and respect. Ive never had an issue of a car not being available, except the last time I rented. But even then, they assured me a car within a couple hours and delivered. Plus, because of the car not being available at the time of my reservation they not only provided a free upgrade, but gave me the pick of the lot. The staff here are completely awesome and I would recommend this location to any of my friends or associates.

We have rented from Enterprise in the past, but usually at an airport location. This is the first time we rented a car from a local dealer. Our experience was very good, and we will be renting again in the near future. The staff at the Greenwood office was awesome. They never have what I “reserve” and are reluctant to help. Always a disappointment.
Had a corporate code from my company for 10% of the total price of $432 well tried to use it but the salesman said it wouldnt work cause I didnt use it when I made reservation so the mini van had 3/8 tank of gas salesman told me he knew the code I was trying to use and told me to bring the van back With a 1/4 tank of gas My discount was 10% off $432 You trying to tell me an 1/8th of a tank equalled my discount When it only took $27 to fill the Van up
I had a wonderful experience. My car had to go in for repair and I needed a loaner to drive until my vehicle was fixed.I loved the fact that they came and picked me up from the dealership and took me to their location to get the loaner.Although the vehicle was larger than expected, it was extremely clean and drove really well.I could not have asked for better service. Thank you Enterprise. You guys rock!!!!!

The people did an awesome job under pressure. We walked in to a zoo of people due to an interstate traffic accident. Then we realized I made the reservations a week late. We didnt get what we wanted but be did get a vehicle large enough to get us on the road.
Had a very bad experience. I reserved a car via phone at this location. Next day I went for pick up and they said they do not have the car ready yet and will take an hour or more. So I have to wait or take one of their uncleaned SUV to different location which was 7 miles away and swap it with a cleaned car that I needed. But I did not had the time to wait or do the Vehicle Swapping work for them. So I had to choose the uncleaned vehicle, even though I reserved the car a day before and came an hour after my given estimated time for pick.
The process was handled professionally and easily. They accomodated my request for a vehicle upgrade as soon as the car came in. Absolutely no problem whatsoever.
Service at store was great. Had no problem extending my lease for an extra day. Just wish the exterior of the care was cleaner when I arrived to pickup.
All I can say is they are amazing.

Every single person I have dealt with here has been absolutely wonderful. Not only has enterprise the company been great, this locations employees have been amazing. They worked with me, calling my insurance for me several times, and gave me great deals on the cars I drove. Defiantly recommend this company and this location.

I wanted to rent a car somewhat at the last minute, and on a weekend. I went to the Enterprise on South 31 in Greenwood because they were open on Saturday. They were not able to get me a car that day, but they bent over backwards to get me into a car the next day (a Sunday!). Everyone at this store was very friendly and courteous, and they made darn sure I was happy with my car and their service! I highly recommend this location.

Horrible communication. Everytime I called, I was given a different answer. I called 3 days ahead of time to request a car and was told they’d get back to me. Never heard anything until the day I went to pick up the rental car and was given the opposite of what I asked for. Tried to get a refund for a service that wasn’t supposed to be added, got denied and was charged anyway. I don’t recommend this place
Never had a problem with Enterprise. I rented this last two weeks and feel like I was over charged. Ive called twice and both people said they would check and call me back. And have yet to get a return call. It was only $157. But when I spent $1200 for two weeks.
I have to edit my review. Its rather complicated. I still think the location and staff are great. I got to pickup the car they were all ready for me. Quick and efficient as always. Instead of getting my car services I was renting this time for a vacation get-away. I rented a brand new 2020 Ford Explorer and I dont know if I am more upset with Ford or Enterprise. At first I didnt notice but as soon as we hit the highway we got hit with all sorts of AWD, traction type of warning alerts hitting at service. I did take a look at the last service date in the car. Because of this WE COULD NOT USE CRUISE CONTROL. My leg and foot still are cramping from manually driving a car for over 1500 miles. A BRAND NEW CAR at that. I leave 3 stars because I feel enterprise should have known that and also removed any codes when the cars are returned or being serviced. Because of this pandemic I was unable to tell the staff about my experience in person due to social distancing drop off box. Next time I guess I will have to rent a car a whole day in advance and drive it around to ensure no errors or check engine type of lights occur OR refuse any ford they attempt to give me and simply take my business elsewhere.
I rented a car for the weekend, through the Enterprise app. When I arrived to this location for pick up, they didnt have the size of vehicle I had requested. So without hesitation thy offered to upgrade me to a truck. However, one reason for the weekend rental was to save fuel for my trip. I asked about a car that had just been returned. Again w/o hesitation they said they would put me in the car of my choice from their selection. From that moment on through the remainder of my rental and even at drop off each individual I spoke with was friendly, helpful and did whatever they could to make my experience one I would talk about. They have succeeded. Thank you for being the best experience!
The people there were professional the service is great and I appreciate everything and how they helped me understand the vehicle before I left a lot
This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THIS COMPANY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME. Dustin, Dominique and Jamie were absolutely wonderful. I dropped my rental off at 6:30 pm on a Friday. Then they drove me toy vehicle my daughter and I were dropped off and the driver left, unfortunately my car would not start and it was freezing! I called Enterprise and they sent the driver back to pick my daughter and I up and brought us back to Enterprise. Then one of the employees offered his jumper cables to help to see if it was my battery they drove me back to my car and jumped my car it started then after the gentlemen left It died again so I had to call them to pick my daughter and I back up. By this time they were closed and instead of rushing outage sure that I had my rental back so my daughter and I were not stranded jn the cold. These 3 gentlemen were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough. I know it being a Friday and after close they would have rather been on there way home to there family but they made sure me and my daughter were taken care of.. you dont find many people or companies like them anymore. I would recommend this company TO ANYONE!! because of Dominique, Dustin and Jamie. Thank you so much you 3 do not understand how cold and worried we were and I felt happy and safe knowing I could rely and you guys and your company. From the bottom of my heart thank u!!!!
My experience with Enterprise has always been a good one, and my recent visit was no different. I was cordially met and dealt with in a professional, yet friendly manner. It didnt take long to fill out the paper work and I was on my way. On my return, the positive attitude was the same, and after reviewing the final statement I was on my way home. I certainly plan to go back when I need a car for my next trip.
