We live further away from Tonys, but they do such good honest work we will drive the distance to get work done. Family owned, and the nicest people I ever met. Pricing was very far. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

Total Con-Artist spent $2700 to have transmission rebuilt shifts worse than before rebuild, then you try to take it back and theyll tell you their too busy to warranty their own work then when they finally got the vehicle in they tried to tell me it was past the 6 months even though I tried to get in the first month and kept getting blown off then charged me another $200 and they couldnt even tell me what they did and had no old parts to show so almost $3,000 later it still doesnt shift right. Do yourself a favor and just go to Edwards or the dealership it will cost the same, but they will actually fix your problem. Took a friend in with me who was a mechanic and he said they were just making up names for stuff like the Alan Jackson song.

Great price on rebuild, reinstalled into our work truck that was scheduled to go out, didnt even make it 24 hours before it quit moving. Called and Tony was very rude on phone wouldnt even let me talk. Was told to take back out and bring back in and didnt even get an apology when I told him it quit. Was told to quit complaining he has no interest. Paid for the service and service was not right. Then got call few hours later that it all was gone through and ready for pickup. I asked for replacement fluid for the loss from taking back out of Truck. Was asked if I was Jewish. Very poor customer service and clearly is not in it for the customer. Waiting to test transmission and see if its right this time.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Had transmission rebuilt at 122k- $1800. Rebuild lasted less than 10k miles after the rebuild before it started to fail again. Took the truck back in and had them pull it out and rebuild it again they cut me a break on it, but it still ended up costing me $800 the second time around. 5700 miles later the transmission fails again... Typically I would not have taken back since they had already worked on it twice but figured I would cross my fingers it would be right the third time since it was on their dime to fix it. Well needless to say I had the truck back for around 2.5 months and sure enough around 7k miles it started to fail again. May I add I didnt have the truck back for 24hrs and had to have it towed to a dealer because the retainer spring sleeve was not put back on when they put the transmission back in causing the transmission line to disconnect and leave me stranded. When the dealer identified what was missing the transmission tech told me the transmission was sure to fail again and boy was he right. So after paying Tony $2600 and putting close to $1000 in rental cars so I had something to drive for work here I am putting a new transmission from GM in. When I got it back from the dealer I was told that the heat shield and transmission vent were left off when the rebuild was done. So needless to say $3900 later I finally have a transmission that functions properly. Bottom line, save your money and go to a dealer. Sure wish I would have the first time! $7500 later.

My truck has been returned to this shop for warranty repairs 3 times now and is still currently there. I have put less than 100 miles on it since I first initially took it to Tony. I have agreed to all of their repairs and recommendations of installing their external transmission cooler and by passing the transmission cooler in the radiator and the factory external cooler. I paid extra for the heavy duty rebuild and kevlar internals and bands. The shop busted my exhaust manifolds and made it so that I had to tow the truck back to my house to repair the exhaust since it wasnt driveable. The initial repair duration quote was a week, or two at max. That turned into 7 weeks. After I returned to back to the shop for warranty repairs they put other new customers in front of my vehicle, which is quite unethical. Another 7 weeks for warranty work is a little excessive. This last time only has taken 4 weeks, but they still havent released the truck to me and keep pushing it back and back. I have called and asked for updates and they say that the truck is next in, or is even currently in the shop with the transmission out of it. I would stop by to check in on it and it would still be sitting outside untouched. If this repair doesnt resolve the issue I will be seeking legal action. It has been going on 5 months since I have been able to use my truck for work and I have now had to buy additional equipment to make up for the down time. Make this right.UPDATE: 3/9 I was told to pick up my truck. Upon arrival I was informed that my passenger side mirror was busted from one of their employees (Bill) backed my truck out of the shop and hit the side of the garage. I get it, accidents happened and they agreed to replace it, new mirror should be in next Wednesday. I headed home and within 20 minutes the transmission began overheating and I returned it to the shop at 210 degrees (outside air temp is 40 degrees). Tony then looked at my truck and informed me that he would no longer be warranting my truck. We took it for a test drive together and transmission temp reached 231 degrees on his scanner. He acted as if it wasnt a big deal. I pull trailers with this truck regularly and never reached over 150 degrees before I brought it to this shop and now I couldnt even drive it home. If my truck isnt repaired properly I will be seeking legal action.

Two weeks after I dropped off my truck to have the tranny checked and they still have not looked at it. Not one time did they call me and at least give me a idea when or how long before they could get a chance to look at it. I called three times and stopped by twice and no one could tell me anything, This guy does not communicate at all and does not even write up a work order when you drop off a vehicle to explain what the symptoms are regarding your problem I had to take my truck to another transmission repair shop. I would not recommend Tonys Transmission.

Took my Yukon XL to Tony and he replaced the transmission about 4 years ago. Tony did a great job (might have taken a day or two longer, but in the grand scheme of things was inconsequential) and my vehicle still runs great to this day. Just recommended Tony to my brother.

Have had my transmission rebuild 5 times and they never seem to last longer than a few months. Current one has already lost 2nd gear and tony keeps telling me to bring it in but then tells me to take it back because he has no parking available. Total crook and he will have a small claims court summons soon.

Tony told my brother that he had his car on the lift and would be the first car to be worked on today. I had to call him twice to get to talk to me His story changed to tell me he had someone elses car on the lift and while the parts needed arrived, it would be tomorrow before he could start on it.

My brother recomended me to Tonys. Mind you my brother is a mechanic. Had them rebuild my tranny on my 2004 Blazer. The high gears had went out in the transmission. I got it back next day and he only charged me $600 as well as gave me a 6 month warrenty. I was very pleased. Then at about 9 months my transmission started hard shifting. Now about 1 year later my front seal blew so my dad and husband pulled tranny and replaced the front seal and torque convertor. Not even 48hrs and 64 miles later the front seal blew again. Leaving me stranded on 65 S. Come to find out he never replaced the front pump and front pump bushing during the rebuild. I will never recomend Tonys to another person. I suggest if you dont want to throw money away that you dont use Tonys Trannys. CAR OWNERS BEWARE.
