I went to several places in town to get my wife’s a/c service and no one would change a solenoid on the compressor for me. Instead, I was told to replace the entire compressor. They evaluated my A/C to find out why it wasnt blowing cold. They described to me what the problem was and how it could be fixed. The needed part could not be obtained until the next day, but I was assured that I would have it back in time to make an afternoon appointment that I had. It was done in plenty of time the next day. Lakesland’s Tire & Auto always does a great job on my cars. They do what they say they’re gonna do when they say they’re gonna do it did the price they quoted. That’s all I ever want. They get it done.

STAY AWAY!! ! $ 772.00 for a simple brake job. Changed 2 rotors and 2 brake pads and 1 calipher . I had two experienced mechanics tell me that it was on the high end a $300 job. The owner knew that he was ripping me off and didn’t budge on the price. I put one star because there wasn’t a place for zero.Stay Away!

Very friendly atmosphere job done in allotted time however I did say I was having some issues that were not discussed in person or on my bill. Still having the same issue and my car is still slightly out of line to the right now...the guy who drove my car never spoke to me afterwards knowing I had issues..just seems like more could of been done or another test drive afterwards... happy with the place and the lady at the front was wonderful so was the guy who checked me out...I left thinking the problem was fixed and it wasnt.

If they find a problem theyll take you to the shop and show you what they found, you can touch it, look at it, smell it, whatever you need to do the decision is yours!They do all my old changes and regular maintenance, as well as work on my truck when something breaks down!

Allen is the man!!! I went in to get my brake pads and rotors changed. Found out that my replacement wheels were too small for the rotors and pads, but this did not stop Allan. The man literally called every part shop to get the extender for my wheel and the nut to accommodate the new size. All within the same day! This man works miracles.

Had my truck brake lines replaced here and all went well. Just took my car for 2 new tires and found out the other 2 nearly new tires were seriously out of balance. They balanced both old and new with a modern high tech balancer. My road noise and vibrations is gone and Im in love with my car again. They are fast, courteous and competent.

I brought my vehicle here to get the AC repaired. They did an initial AC charge to be able to see if and where there were any leaks in the system - pretty standard. When the AC would no longer blow cold (as expected), I took it back for them to repair whatever it was that appeared to be the issue based on the refrigerant dye. We spent another $240 after paying $60 for the initial AC charge to repair the AC. Totally fine.Not too much later, the AC went out again. Not ok. When I took it back, they proposed another $350+ repair. Really not ok.I felt like that was dishonest. The $240 repair didnt actually repair the system, so they needed me to spend another $350 because their initial diagnosis wasnt correct? No thanks.I decided to take it to another mechanic in town, so I went to where the Google reviews pointed me - Professional Automotive Services. I called them and basically gave them the spiel above. I let them know that I would not be going back to Lakelands (by name). We set up an appointment, and that was that.When I got to Professional the next day, the lobby looked very similar to the lobby of Lakelands. In fact, so did the signage, the Google listing photos, website, etc. I walked back in and asked if they were affiliated with Lakelands by chance. The worker said, Yes, but were completely separate.So in my phone conversation with them AND the conversation in person where I explicitly complained about their sister company, they said nothing - made no mention of the affiliation. Not the most honest way to handle my situation. Im already wary of mechanic shops because they sometimes take advantage of the general publics ignorance towards auto issues. The situation I experienced with Lakelands/Professional further confirmed this skepticism.Two stars because their facilities are actually really nice - well-decorated and lots of refreshments for their waiting customers. Unfortunately, thats not the primary concern when trying to get my vehicles repaired.

Sent a friend up to get his oil changed with a coupon that was recieved in the mail, he had been there before but was not happy with there test drive policy, but he thought he would try them again after I said that they still good, when he arrived at his time that was scheduled, after talking to the Male was told that he could not use the coupon because he had been there before and the coupons were only for new customers, well I looked over the coupon and there was nothing about that on it my friend was also told that maybe he should friend some place else to get his work done, he will as well as I and several people that I have referred up there
