Dropped our dog off this morning for grooming. They cut his leg and had to take him to the Vet in the store. Our dog had to be bandaged up by the Vet, put in a cone, and given pain meds. The groomers called and said he was ready. When my wife went to pick up the dog he was only partially groomed (one leg was not trimmed while the others were), his face was not trimmed (as requested), paw fur was not trimmed, and in some areas he was shaved to the skin and in other areas he was not. It looked as though once he was injured, they stopped trying to groom him. They comped everything due to the injury, but our dog looked horrible. We had to have him finished and my family had to stand around the store for an hour to wait. I am thankful that the Vet was there to deal with the cut and understand that this can happen as part of grooming and am also appreciative of the comped services, but if we take the dog there for grooming, then grooming needs to be complete when they say he is ready. It felt like they were just trying to push him out. I am very disappointed and will most likely never return.

Had a great experience with the store except the fish department, you can tell that the woman doesn’t care at all about fish. She came up to me and asked if I was ready to buy any, looked at the tank, and didn’t see an issue with it. The rest of the store was great, but the fish department is inexcusable.

Place seemed a lot roomier today than last time. We walked around for a while. Place was clean. Staff seemed busy. A few pups were with their owners. The groomers had a few well behaved pups in the salon. Parking was plentiful but tight. (There is additional parking around the same area.) PetSmart was clean.

Went to get my dog groomed and they did a wonderful job making her coat shine!

Took my sons dog to have his nails clipped. And when the lady asked for a phone number I gave her my sons name information who passed away two weeks ago I became to emotional to finish. The young lady took the dog and became emotional As I. She told me that she would page me in 10 minutes. As I was looking around in the store she escorted the dog to me and hugged me expressing her condolences and said no charges for the services. They are still some good left in this world. Thank you!!

If Id had a question about a product I couldnt have gotten an answer if Id wanted to Hes seen only one employee in the entire store and she was running the cash register. In the 20 minutes I was in there there was always at least 3 people deep at the register

They did a wonderful job taking care and grooming my dog. They took the time to listen and make sure my furbaby felt comfortable and the haircut looked great afterwards! Ive taken my dog to other places and I wasnt impressed with the service or the quality. But now im finally happy and with my groom! I will be returning. I would definitely recommend this place!

Clean store and friendly service. The reason I have only 4 stars is because I went 3 weeks in a row looking a certain item and they were always out. Several shelves were empty and they had allot of cages with no animals. Not stocked as it should be in my opinion.

I went in thinking about a cat. Saw a couple. Asked the nearest employee for help. She lined me up with the rescue group. They said come back at 5PM. I did. Loved the cat. Everyone was patient at the near end of the workday while I bought everything (had nothing at home). Helped load my car after finding me discounts. I took home my sweet Bella. Boom!

Absolutely amazing I loved seeing all the little animals in there. Customer service seemed ok. But they could add some more animals in there. We have always been satisfied with PerSmart. Precious our fur baby is a human in a dogs body. The grooming staff have always treated Precious like family. She has never acted like she didnt want to go to PetSmart and if she did /does act like she doesnt want to go believe me we wouldnt take her back. When we get there she tries to open the dog and she definitely tries to push the gate to get to the groomer fast. They have always have made Precious family members like family. I would recommend PetSmart groomers to everyone.

I recently adopted a nine week old bunny and got most of what he needs here! He loves all of it, and the staff were so helpful in finding the different things I had listed!

One staff member was opening the fish bags up and placing them in the water without leaving them in so the fish could adjust.. The other was helping us with the fish but didnt want to look in new fish inventory for what we wanted

Do not take your dog here!!! I had taken my poodle to have her groomed n to a surprise I received a call 2 hrs. Later that they couldnt finish grooming her due to mattes. Well, when I drop her off I explain she had sum mattes n also cauliflower warts. When I returned to pick her up the girl brought her out set her up on a table n said she went to it n I said what...with blood all over her back n sides...shaved hair just hanging...the groomer said while n the kennel she scratched...well what happen was she cut her warts because she couldnt had scratched her back! They will harm your animal n show no remorse at all...picked up a bloody dog where they cut her...now she is traumatized!

This is a great place to have your dog groomed. We have a Bichon frise. She looks and smells so good after being groomed there. Everyone is friendly and you can tell they care about your pet. I would recommend this place.

My friend found a kitten and went there to get formula and they gave her the wrong formula and now the kittens half dead, so thanks :) they also sell their animals way too young with no proper care information and the employees arent trained. screw this placd

Pet smart associates were very helpful. They helped us get all the items needed to get our new pet Gecko started on the right track.

The employees here are amazing! I had to come in right before they closed on 3/20/21 and they were PACKED. There were people all over the store and many of them had a staff member helping them. One employee in particular was a young woman on the register who had a line halfway down the store. Despite being extremely busy and greeting incoming customers, she still showed me awesome customer service. I was getting medicated flea shampoo as well as a medicine that when used together, could seriously harm my cats. I know this, because this employee took the time to notice it and politely alert me. She also was very friendly & informative and gave me some awesome tips to tackle my newfound flea problem. Thank you Petsmart for having a knowledgeable, efficient, kind, and passionate staff!! THIS is why I shop with you!! 💕

I bought my husband an aquarium for Christmas, so we went to see the fish and look at tank decor. We met Miss Irene and she answered all of our questions and helped me learn more about PetSmarts teacher grant program so I can get a fish tank for my English classroom. We look forward to seeing Miss Irene and the PetSmart crew again soon.

I have always bought my cat food from Petsmart. Then,they started not to carry the food my cat needs. They are constantly out of it!! You cant change cat food easily. So,this last time I went there,they said it was being discontinued. I will not be going there anymore!!!

I will not be shopping there anymore trying to find someone to help you find an item you are looking for its almost impossible Ive asked for people that work there where an item was or where I can find it I was sent all over that store not one person would actually take me to the aisle that the item I was looking for was on its not like they were doing anything because they werent they were just standing there doing nothing maybe its a covid-19 thing who knows the service sucks

My dog Winston had his first haircut here I was told they where going to trim him down around face and paw pads and where he goes to potty . My baby looked like he never go anything cut or trim he looked like they just combed him. I walked back in to let them know and they where just like oh well . Never going back here

This location is absolutely wonderful. They are clean and well stocked each time I visit. The employees are kind, energetic, and helpful (which is hard to find in a retail-like setting). We have an American Staffordshire Terrier (aka Pit Bull) and we have NEVER had a problem with looks, stares, unkind words etc. We obviously are believers that the nature of the dog is based on the love, care, and training it receives. With that being said, we have a goofy, clumsy, kiss-loving pup who has been shown nothing but love (despite the national attention on this company for their breed discrimination). We have been especially impressed with the grooming that is on location. With a short hair dog we are not in need of many services, but we do get her nails ground down here. The staff in the grooming section have been incredible. They are ALL clearly animal enthusiasts and will get down on eye level with your pup to greet them and give them attention. They are gentle, efficient, and non-threatening when caring for the animals (some of which are understandably timid). Needless to say, this location gets an A+. They will be our go-to for food, treats, and manicures for the foreseeable future.

Ive always had pretty good experiences here. Good selection, reasonable prices, etc. Unfortunately they have a corporate breed-specific ban on all bully breeds and dogs that look like bully breeds or wolf hybrids. They are banned from all group activities based on the company website. I can not support a company that promotes breed-specific policies.

Needs many more dog toys! I also would like to see more pet sweaters for my cold dog in the wintertime. Overall it was an okay experience.

The cashier I had was the friendliest woman I’ve ever met there. And the groomers here are amazing! My Belgian Malinois HATES getting her nails trimmed and they were fantastic with her! Super understanding and calm even though two groomers had to help get the job done. I’ve never felt like she was in better hands than when I brought her here. Thank you from both me and Kahlua!!

Posted this same review for Petco today went in both stores looking a supplement for my dog dont know who if anybody teaches these younger generation kids how yo treat customers had 2 or 3 in there walk right by didnt bother to speak didnt bother to ask if I needed anything went out empty handed and wont be back

The place was extremely understocked except for the top of the line most expensive products..the staff the day i went was swamped but when you are selling animals you are supposedto be responsible for them and take the time to explaintheirrequirementsfor a healthylife ....i was trying to buy bearded dragon and enclosure when the girl finally helped me she spent no time at all with me to answer my questions being a first time reptile owner..i tried to ask questions ..it was like talking to a brickwall ..i had to pry answers from her about the care of the animal..she wasnt interested in helping me or the lizard to be honest..bought lizard because my son was with me and didnt want to spoil his experience..called pet co when i got home they were phenomenal at explaining the care i need to for my sons new pet..a shame i spent 300.00 with a company that didnt deserve my money or the capacity to sell pets

Completely awful grooming dept! 1st experience when my pup was 5 months old we stood there while the groomers fell out arguing over someone on the phone.. Kimmey was recommended and she was the only blessing in my pups first visit. She took Shophie and she truly took good care of her. she smelled great, her coat was brushed, dried fully, and BRUSHED! 2nd appointment unfortunately Kimmy was out on medical leave and we received Kat D; much to my surprise she is the manager. Sophie had a 2:30 appointment for a simple bath and nail trim(so I thought) when making the appointment the girl that made it made with a full grooming service as in cut and clipped. Sophie is a Belgian Malinois mix and doesnt need a cut and clip like a poodle. She is easy pacheesy. Kimmy has her done in 1 hour 15mins on a first time visit.(And called to tell me she was ready!!!) At 5:15 I had yet to hear back from Kat D on a 2:30 appointment so I went back to the store. Noticed she was working on another dog that mind you was behind me in the wait to get checked in. She told me that she had to assist another groomer with another dog and all she had to do is grind Sophies nails. Kat D. went to the back and brought Sophie up and grinded my little girls nails giving no thought as to handling her. (I guess she doesnt know there is a wall of mirrors that us owners can see you while you groom) When she brought me Sophie; she was still damp to the touch, had not been brushed, when I asked her about the 15min brush she stated she had brushed her. Her hair was standing out all over her body as if she had been put in front of a jet blower. While talking to Kat I had the pleasure of hearing another groomer make the comment Believe me dog, I want you to go home as bad you want to go home. This is not what I will spend $43 dollars on again. Awful! If I could give a zero I would!

When I called and ask you how much is something, and you cant hear me on the phone, you dont say What especially in disrespectful way. Then after she told me the price I said Thank you instead of saying,You are welcome,the person says Yup. Now after reading the reviews and the experience I had on the phone, I definitely will not be taking my dog here. Please train your staff again because they must forgot about policy expectations.

Really cool associates who are willing to help you. I looked for 30 min at the flea meds for dogs & this nice man came to help me out right at closing time, without me having to go in search of someone. He even educated me on their policy to price match other retailers prices if they were lower than what Petsmart offered in store - Chewy.com, Petsmarts online prices, & Amazon. This is very useful to everyone bc who doesnt want to save money whenever they can? I bought their PetArmor Plus for dogs in a 3 pack for $26.99 that night, but when I stopped by Walmart later on that night, I couldve bought a 6 pack of the exact same brand for $25 & some change. Still love Petsmart & all they have to offer, but theyre prices are extremely marked up for no reason at all.

Grooming Department is horrible. This is for Greenville, NC store. It is all about the money, not the pet or customer service!! Just to list a few of the concerns: TINY lobby for the customers and their pets. I had to cram inside with my 10 lb dog beside 2 huge dogs along with 4 other dogs and their owners, which caused him a lot of anxiety. The staff are rude, and act like they hate their job. Its run like a puppy mill. They schedule as many dogs possible all at the same time to keep that money rolling. Its so obvious if you take a minute and watch/observe the set up. My dog hated going to get groomed, so I thought; I now know it was because of Pet-Smart services that he was receiving or not receiving. He actually loves where he goes now, and looks happy and playful. The only reason Pet-smart received a 1 star because they allow rescue dogs to be out there for adoption.

Sales associates unwilling to provide timely service when picking up on line order that was ready for 2 days. No smile, no thank you, no apology for delay in service. Product available multiple places. I do not need the attitude displayed by salespeople at PetSmart.Word of advice: SHOP elsewhere.

Took our dog here over the holidays for pictures and had so much fun! Their trainer was there and she was a ball of joy. You could really see and hear her passion for animals. My daughters love looking at all the pets and the prices are not too terrible. Thank you for a great experience! Was a pleasure to chat with the trainer.

I will never shopped PetSmart again. Ive never gone into a store that tells you how much you can buy. I recently moved 2 North Carolina and was setting my 55 gallon fish tank back up and went to PetSmart to buy new fish, I was told that I could only by 10 fish. So I went right down the road to Petco where I was pleased with their service, help by friendly staff and walked out a satisfied customer. They have all of my business now. dont bother calling corporate to complain about the service from PetSmart because they dont care either no one returns calls!!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!So, I go to PetSmart tonight (4/19/2019) to buy crickets for my lizard. The young man working near the fish section is very busy helping another customer. I wait a few minutes. Its obviously going to take a long time since she (the other customer) decides to buy some fish. I look around for another worker who might be able to assist me. There are 2 young women working at the cash registers. The one closest to me takes a seat and is clearly helping no one, and there are no other customers around. So, in hopes of getting my shopping done without wasting more time, I approach her for help. She says that she can call someone to assist me. I told her the male associate was busy. What did Miss Imasitonmybutt say? Sorry sir... youre just gonna have to wait.No, Im sorry. Im sorry I ever walked into PetSmart. Terrible CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. It turns out the other young woman who was right beside her was a member of store supervision. Obviously, management condones this lack of service, otherwise shed have taken action.How did I know she was a supervisor? Because the other customer who was buying those fish had a poor customer service experience, too, once she got to the register.Please the customer every single time. Never ever let a customer leave your store with a bad experience. Even if its almost closing time, that last customer should be just as important as the first one. The customer may not always be right, but they should always feel valued.That other customer didnt feel valued. I certainly didnt.PetSmart lost two paying customers tonight.

We waited for 40+ minutes to get my dogs nail trimmed. The lobby was over packed and people Crammed in that small room. We waited outside for 40 minutes until the girl comes out and says oh let me print her order? Nail trim? 10 minutes later Then they finally call me in and make me call the vet because they didn’t have her info ( she has been here since she was a puppy) Definitely unorganized. Mind you we called ahead before coming in to make sure they were ready for her.

A female employee, cant remember her name, but she helped us so much getting the right products for one of our dogs which has skin, mouth issues. I went in to get a harness since my dog chewed up the last one. I decided to ask one of the associates for help on suggestions as to how it should fit or which ones where durable. I asked an older associate if someone could assist me and she asked me what I needed. I told her I was looking for a harness and she immediately started telling me that a harness shouldnt be left on a dog because they will chew it and that I wouldnt find one that he wouldnt chew and that I could fit the harnesses on my dog on my own. She kept interrupting me every time I wanted to tell her that I know he will chew but I just want SUGGESTIONS on some good ones. She completely ignored me so I went off on my own to try and fit some on my dog since she clearly did not want to help. As I was trying them on him she would walk by and make comments like he needs a medium or a large and would quickly walk away without letting me ask anything else. She came by a second time and trying to sell me a $7 harness (which is the one he chewed) but she would have known that if she just had listened to me at the beginning. And then she immediately walked away again. She wasnt assisting anyone else; she was just walking around the store so I dont see why she couldnt have helped me. Bottom line, she made my experience very frustrating to which I decided to grab a harness and just try it on my dog at home and return it if it doesnt fit appropriately. I really wish I could remember her name but I wont be going back just because I dont want to run into her again.

Everytime I bring my large Springer spaniel and my grandmothers three little senior dogs in to get groomed, I always have a great experience with the groomers and their customer service. The oldest of my grandmas was recently having anxiety issues in the kennel waiting to get groomed and the groomer grew concerned she could hurt herself. She called me to let me know and that she would be doing an accelerated grooming so she wouldnt risk injury. She was incredibly nice and showed true concern for the dog making me feel at ease knowing I can trust their care compared to some of the other nightmare experiences Ive face at other pet groomers..
