I’ve tried a few nail salons since moving here and this has been my favorite! I came in late on a Friday and the staff was absurdly nice. They were extremely patient and helped me pick out the right colors to match the design I showed them. My tech, Ann Lee, was extremely gentle, talented AND a perfectionist - hard to find. Will be coming back!!

The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. The areas are clean and they always do a great job! The prices are very reasonable and my nail tech let me know exactly how much it would be before starting. She also checked throughout my appointment to make sure I liked everything.

AnnLee did dip nails for me and helped me pick out the perfect color. She is very nice, knowledgeable and sweet too. My nails look great!

The space was clean and neat. We were greeted immediately when we entered. We had booked our time but still waited almost 15 minutes. They were busy enough they actually turned at least one client away. My friend and I both had the spa pedicure. There was quite a difference in our experiences. One had close to 10 minutes more in foot and leg massage time. My nails look good but there was nothing extra special that would prompt me to return here.

We had a fun girls spa day at August Nails. We made an appointment and they were on time, courteous, and very clean. My daughters love their fun new nails from Augusta Nails. This is a nice small nail spa where you can get to know everyone of you go regularly. I have been going here for several years and the staff has pretty much stayed the same.

Glad we made appt. Who knew at 10 on a Friday morning it would be busy.. the are on the cheaper side.. we got a spa mani/pedi with hot oil message and warm towel on both and its only 55.00. They are kind and have water or soda for you if you need it complimentary. It was relaxing and the place was very clean. We didnt go into the restrooms but, by the looks of the place it should have been clean. 😊 we will. We will definitely be back..

I called and asked if they had many colors to choose from and the smart alec kept on about needing to see the length of my nails . I explained that i was wanting tp know about the choices of polish and the rude hateful creature told me that she had 100s of colors but i didnt have to come there . She has never been more right about any thing i damn sure dont have to put up with a smart mouth when im trying to spend my money with them . If she dont understand our language here she should not be operating a buisness here its not my fault . The disrespect was completely out of hand

In all my years coming here, not once have I had any issues whatsoever...and that’s saying a lot. Very competitive prices. Augusta Nails is a place to relax and get the very best service in Greenville. Nowhere else comes close.I moved this past year, and still drive an hour to get my nails done here, BECAUSE IT’S JUST THAT GOOD!

I rarely leave reviews, but I’m so frustrated and blown away by what happened, I felt it necessary. I booked a nail appointment just to have some time for myself for Mother’s Day weekend, only to walk in and be turned away. Again, I BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT, and they told me they were too busy and couldn’t do my nails. Why would you have appointment availability if you aren’t going to have time for them? They told me they tried to call me, but I showed the lady that I didn’t have any missed calls from them. Will not be returning.

It is a wonderful nail salon!!! Clean, observing social distancing, hand sanitizer before you check in and all with masks. Did I mention how clean it is! The best manicures and pedicures I have had... and I have been in some pretty ritzi spas. Friendly and will listen for any special instructions or problems such as “that nail is not right, can you fix it” or “my foot is sore there - please be gentle”. Price... you can’t beat for the quality!!! They are reasonable and do run specials! Walk-in anytime. I have never seen them turn anyone away. They will give you a time estimate if they are busy and you can go and come back in an hour or whatever and you are at the top of the list!!! They also do eyebrow waxing between services if you want.

While I have been cared for by many of the techs, Kate has been doing my mani/pedi for the last 4-5y. She is friendly, efficient, accommodating and focused, with great attention to detail. I have never felt like “just a client,” but rather it’s more like I’m spending time with friends. I highly recommend this salon and Kate!!

I asked for the ombré coffin nails because there was a nail contest the next day and she new that! My nails look horrible. I asked her if this was her first time doing ombré and the lady said yes after she done started! It would have been nice to know she couldn’t do it . I would have chose something else! My nails are so messed up and the price was ridiculous. She knew I wasn’t happy and she kept trying to talk about her son, then offered me water and gave me a used nail file ....Never going back there!!! Very disappointed!

Augusta Nails was recommended to me by a friend at work, and I have been going there now for over a year, and have been very happy with my nails every time. I like a French pedicure, and Lin does a lovely job. It lasts beautifully. The place is clean and updated, and never smells like toxic fumes. I would gladly give them more stars if I could!

I was reluctant to go after reading some of the negative reviews. I stopped by last night for a pedicure and received great customer service. They were also very friendly and attentive to their other customers. So, judging off of that experience, 5 stars.

My first visit to Augusta Nail was on a Monday. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and friendly. The service was fine but as I was checking out and pulled out my bank card the attendant said You dont have cash? That rubbed me the wrong way because there was no sign saying they preferred cash and I made a purchase over 10$. As I was signing the slip I was asking for the attendants name as I was telling her that I have a daughter that I was going bring back but she just walked away. She didnt even acknowlege that I had been serviced there, didnt say thank you, so she walked away from her tip. Not sure if I will return.

The salon is up to date and clean. All the tools they use are sanitized and come sealed in a package. However, I went in today on my lunch break and Im not impressed. I went in for a simple manicure with gel polish. The color selection for gel was pretty scarce and most of the colors were unappealing. I had about 3 different people come over and do something to my nails. One person took off the old polish, someone else cleaned them and someone else painted them. Very rude in my opinion. I waited forever for someone to finally come over to paint them and the man that did it moved extremely slow. This is usually a good thing but in this case it was not. This was one of the most poorly done and sloppiest paint jobs Ive had done. He did not shape them evenly and left the tips extremely rough and ugly. He left a pretty big amount of the topcoat all over the sides of my fingers so I had to peel it off. For the price ($30), it was not worth it in my opinion. Maybe it was just an off day or something, but as a first-time customer, I will not be going back.

Great salon. Everything is very clean and they use a ton of natural scents and oils to relax. I feel like I went into a much more expensive (Aveda) salon. Go see Macy! She is super sweet and wonderful at what she does. My gel nails are looking awesome 12 days later. Going back just to get a new color :)

Im a regular, and have a punch card to prove it!I get the gel (UV Set) polish and they have a terrific array of colours and i think all techs (each very skilled and perfectionists) have their own lights. I have called in and made appointments, and when i do i dont have to wait. If i dont make an appointment im often there at 10am Saturday right as they open so theres no waiting. They switch out the foot-bath liner fresh with each client which is nice, probably overkill but it gives me peace of mind that theyre very clean.The only drawback is no Sunday hours, but theres a place by Jimmy Johns/Haywood Mall if I have a Sunday emergency.

Horrible service! My nails were poorly shaped.. polish was clumpy and wasnt applied evenly. Corners if my nails dont even have polish on them. When the manager was notified she was rude.. staff was rude. IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE GOING HERE!

They badger you to get gels when you already stated you just want a regular manicure. They repeat themselves overoand over. They have no clue how to do a French manicure. They clearly have communication issues. I would never return.

Never again! Im from another state. Dropped in and the salon was not full, but had a few Caucasian females there. The lady greeted me at the door was playing on her cell phone when I came in. Met me at the door and asked what services I wanted and I had my daughter with me. I told her exactly the services I wanted which were two fills and a eyebrow wax and she said ;we are busy for one hour or so please come back. Well with all these nail salons why would I? Plus she wasnt doing anything. Sorry this place is not somewhere Id recommend anyone to go.

NEVER GO HERE!!!I went for simple gel nails and they look so bad!!! The guy doing my nails watched the World Cup the entire time!!! My nails feel and look disgusting I want my money back!!!!

The first experience at this salon was great. I had a gentleman to do my nails and he was very nice and polite. I went to the salon today and walked out angry. The older lady there stared me down like I was stealing property the whole time she was servicing another person. The she gets up walks to me and asks me to leave because they were busy, even though I was next in line AND said nothing to the 2 women who walked in after me, who of course were white. I took the high road and did not show out but never again and I hope no one else will have this happen to them.

Ok service gel polish chipped first week

I submitted a detailed review a day before but it has not gotten published - I wonder why. This place is really close to my home and I really wanted to like it. I have done gel manicure of different brands at another nail salon for four years, with a wonderful patron Mimi (she used have a booth at Changes on Woodruff and later took over her relatives salon Orchid Nails in Simpsonville, which is now totally out of my way). Mimi both took appointments and walk-ins and subscribes to the customer is always right policy. She is a hard worker and honest. Cannot say it about Augusta fast-nail place.At my 1st time at Augusta Nails gel did not set; it happens occasionally and it is a true test of the salon how they handle it when it happens. All my nails were showing signs of peeling after just ONE week but techs were willing to redo only one that was totally chipped. The technician lied that it was 10 days; they have displays at all tables advertising their gels lasting 2 weeks but changed the story. They even tried to convince me it was somehow my misunderstanding and fault - I have done gels enough times to know better, how they should look in a week and mine typically last 2-2.5 weeks, and techs know better. In other words they were trying to cover up a simple mistake and get me to pay for a new manicure and it never occured to them to offer me a refund or even part refund. In fact previous time technician kept suggesting pay cash when I offered a credit card which manager said they accepted.The technicians told me 3 different stories (all untrue) when I was trying to find out when I can speak to the manager. Finally when she came in: the tech switched to her native tongue even thoguh she spoke comprehensive English with me. When manager asked me to speak outside I finally thought someone was going to listen and care. She listened, even admitted manicure did not set by excusing it as new product, but she showed not the slightest care either about messed up manicure or that her techs lied several times in the process of addressing the issue. She basically said that if I am unhappy I can go somewhere else. So much for customer service. This place is in a very convenient location, has lots of traffic and I am sure they get follow-up with the local clientele with whom they did not mess up. They have it too good and put in a minimal effort. Judging from other reviews my opinion is shared.

1st time going here (6/21/14). When I called to make an appointment, found they dont have Sunday hours, which is fine, but she said they dont take appointments for Friday or Saturdays? Interesting. So, I went for my first mani/pedi yesterday and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. Linda, the owner, waited on me herself. I only had to wait a few, maybe 10 minutes, and the rest was the usual mani/pedi treatment. Linda was a warm, conversive person and she did a good job. The salon was clean and the massage chairs, although a bit older, worked. (Cant tell you how many shops Ive been to that they didnt.) Even with the 2 negatives of no Sunday hours and no appointments, Id recommend this salon. 8^)

Poor manicure, gel dip, high prices. Despite request, my nails were filed down far too much. Manicurist did not listen to request of square tip and rounded them. I’ve never seen my nails this short.
