My 4yr old son has been needing a cut for a while now but due to his Autism, Anxiety, and ADHD I have been hesitant to take him because of how he’d react. I made this appointment and it was the best decision ever! The barber did an amazing job with not only the cut but he spoke to my son the whole time to keep him calm and still. We will definitely be coming back ❤️

I’ve been going to Bongos since they originally opened. I met Wady, the owner of Bongos, when he was working at another barbershop here in town. I was waiting on my normal barber and he had a long wait so I went with Wady. Hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had for an affordable price. He and his team go the extra mile and take the time to perfect each cut. No stray hairs in 6 years. I still check to this day and I’m amazed it’s always so clean. Wa day is a good dude who is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic and is successfully living the American dream! Everyone I’ve referred to them has become life-long customers. I can’t speak highly enough of them! They could be charging much Lee for their services. 10 out of 10!!!

I took my disabled husband to Bongos Barbershop today . We had a wonderful experience there . Everyone was so kind, friendly, and accommodating ! The owner expressed his pleasure at us being there . The shop is nicely decorated and inviting . We got to listen to music in a very positive environment. I also got to chat to a very kind gentleman who came and sat beside me . When it was time to pay, I was told it was already taken care of by someone in the shop . What a surprise to find out that the young gentleman who was sitting next to me was responsible for the act of kindness extended to me and my husband . We will definitely be visiting the Bongo Barbershop again . It was a real pleasure to see my husband be renewed with a nice shave, haircut, and shampoo .

Today was my third visit to Bongos. The outside of the building, the surrounding shops, and the condition of the parking lot almost discouraged me from going inside. I’m glad I decided to go inside.. I was immediately impressed to see that they were maintaining the traditional barber pole. The inside of the shop and the genuine kindness and professionalism of the barbers is the first thing you notice... my barber is Juan and he is is the only barber that took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted... and executed it perfectly...This is a walk in facility, but you better set an appointment on their Facebook page... although for all the places to wait this place is by far the most comfortable. The staff is very engaging and they do a good job including everyone in the barber shop banter.The hot towel and the shoulder massage were a nice touch... be back in 3 weeks.

I’ve been going all the way to Raleigh for a haircut and I finally decided to try somewhere local. This place is amazing, barber Wady is really good with his work. He cares about his customers and makes sure you are happy with your haircut. First time going was today I will for sure be coming back biweekly for excellent haircuts.
