I was having some suspension noise that was driving me crazy on my truck that i needed fixed. I took it to Bucks after reading their reviews online. I had already taken it to two different places in Greenville and they couldnt find what was wrong. Bucks got it fixed and i am thrilled! They got it done in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. These guys are also good people. Very professional and stay in contact with you about your vehicle. Do not take your car or truck anywhere else! I cant say enough good things about these guys and this is now my go to shop.

I told them what I wanted and the product exceeded my expectations. The tires were ordered and delivered on time. After driving on the truck a few hundred miles, I can say the tires provided a smoother ride and help my truck stay on the road in the rain. While I am a cautious driver, I didnt feel anything to indicate my trucks rear end was going to hydroplane. I highly recommend this company. The value vs. cost is incredible!!

Wonderful honest and all around nice people. Everyone there from the time you walk in the door are very nice and never hesitated to help with your situation. I cant say enough about this place. From the time I walked in they listened to my issues with my car, they dealt wonderfully with my warranty company, searched for the part my car needed so it wouldnt take forever to get it fixed and on top of it all I was kept informed what was happening with my car.

This place was so fantastic. They were so awesome. My mother in law broke down up in Sulfur Springs on the highway hours from any family. They found a tow truck, cleared the bay to make her car first, fixed it in under two hours to get her back on the road. Could have easily price gouged her, but didn’t. Awesome shop

I have an older, used vehicle, so I’ve run into problems simply due to the age of my car. Buck’s has always gotten me in quickly, and they’ve gotten me out quickly too. They have fixed belts, radiators, and more on my vehicle, and they’ve always given me a reasonable price. They keep you, the customer, informed, and they do honest business. I highly recommend them.

I have taken my vehicle to Bucks 3 times. The first time was 17 years ago. No problem at all. The next was 3 years ago. Paid about $1400 when I got my truck back it was still doing the same thing. Took it back and the corrected the problem. On my third and definitely last time I will ever take or recommend anyone to Bucks was horrible. I took my truck in because it had a transmission leak. Nothing else wrong with the truck. When I went to pick up my truck the tire was flat and the battery dead. I drove my truck straight home and parked it. On Monday when I drove my truck to work it was not driving correctly. I called the transmission shop and the mechanic stated what he changed and if it something to do with the truck not driving correctly hes not going to fix it. If it drove correctly before I took it in and if they only changed and fixed it correctly then it should run in in the same if not better condition. Poor business etiquette. They had no problem taking my money but not correcting a problem they cause.

Bucks Transmission has been doing all of our automotive repairs, including at least two transmission, for more than 15 years. We have always been pleased by the service and the cost. Don and his staff ha e gone out of their way to help us in emergency situations as well. Quick turn around time. I highly recommend!

The day before my truck was supposed to be finished - I called and found that they hadnt even ordered the new transmission yet. They then hand me a list of items theyd like to repair - one of the items, my AC (which was serviced 2 years ago by the Chevrolet dealer). Wonder of wonders, my AC now has a freon leak and one of the connectors has tool marks on it.Several years ago this was a respectable business. I wont be going back.

100% recommend this shop! They are not like the rest of the places in Greenville that only want your money. They care about their customers and are very helpful! This will be the only place I go from now on!

I highly recommend bucks Automotmive excellent customer service great communication and if you don’t know or understand something they will explain it the the lady even gave me a ride home to my other vehicle. at first I was nervous because I don’t want just anyone working on my truck but they got the job done and got me back on the road and I’ll definitely be back to bucks automotive.

Excellent work, timely repair, and reasonable prices. I was out of town when my wifes car needed work and they treated her well. Would recommend and will use the next time we need repair.

Do not I repeat do not use this place!! They took my 20year old daughters hard earned money and didn’t fix a thing!!! Now she is without a car!!! The only way this place makes money is by ripping people off!! I will be reporting to the better business bureau also!! And the only reason I gave this place one star is because it wouldn’t let me leave it blank. It deserves no stars!!

Anytime we get busy and need help Bucks has had our back. Anything from building transmissions, loaning diagnosis equipment, or over the phone suggestions. The entire crew there is awesome.

I recommend their service to all. Everything was great starting from the moment I called. They let me come right in and immediately started to diagnose the problem. Once diagnosed they asked me about my vehicle warranty and even took the time to call the dealership to check on my warranty and indeed my problem was still covered under warranty and they even set me up with an appointment with the dealership. Now this place is more than a transmission shop that can do anything to a vehicle that needs to be done everybody that works there is very intelligent smart and I would give them a 5-star rating because of their courtesy and make sure the job is done right and then make sure the customer is happy and thats all that matters I would recommend them to anybody

Wentbto premier down the road who couldnt fix my truck for over a year... took 3k of my money tho... finally went to Bucks and they fixed it in a couple of hours! Went in to get repairs & the repairs were done & done well. Very thorough. I was told what else was wrong & how it could be fixed also. This place really takes care of their customers. Ive only been in the area almost 6 years & Ive been to 6 different mechanics/places. Not one has fixed my vehilce properly & did what they said theyd do...but those places sure took my money (probably charged me more than needed actually). Not only did Bucks fix my engine repair, but THEY FIXED A SQUEAKY DOOR HINGE I HAD TOO!!! Omg, its a rareity to find anyone to go a step up & do a little extra at no charge. Mind blown! This place has another lifetime customer. Thanks so much Bucks! Ill be back for sure!!!

I had a front pump seal put in my transmission at this place and it took 2 weeks. I wasnt to worried about that but when I pick my truck up the exhaust is very loud and it was completely stock when dropped off. They did not put bolts back into the exact when it was reinstalled and want to charge more to fix their mistake. After threats from the owner that he was about to lose his temper and cursing at me I paid and left and am now laying under my truck fixing the exhaust that they screwed up. Do not go here. Very unprofessional organization.

Rebuilt a nv5600 and it went 400 miles before dumping oil on the clutch. Waiting to see if they honor their work.They fixed the output shaft seal but dont want to replace clutch that was ruined.Claimed it was wore out anyway. Funny it held fine before.

We had them rebuild the transmission on our mini van which supposedly had a 2 year warranty. A few months later the transmission started acting up so we took it back and they did not want to accept the warranty and said they would look at it to see what the problem was. After they said that it would be $300 to fix the problem that should have been covered under the warranty we declined and picked our van up, and it was running much worse than we dropped it off and he charged us $150 to make it run worse... After that we took it back, picked it up again, still ran bad. On the third time of them looking at it, it ran about the same as it did when we dropped it off the first time. Wouldnt have been nearly as mad about the whole situation, but the guy i dealt with was a douchebag about the whole ordeal, he kept saying that he was doing us a favor even though it was still under warranty. Long story short DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people, they are terrible mechanics.

This is not the kind of place that will tell you need front and rear brakes all at the same time, they are more likely to tell you to replace the ones that are real bad and come back later to do the the others . Honesty is what keeps customers coming back !

Good folks trustworthy service., takes a while.

I had them rebuild my transmission and engine (6 cylinder) and the engine broke down some 6 weeks later. They rebuilt the engine (#2) and after around 1,000 miles it is using oil, gets 10 MPG Vs the normal 20 MPG, runs hot, the transmission dash lights dont come on, and the vacuum line for the 4x4 unit was burnt in half (hot exhaust manifold), because it was not strapped back down during installation (Note: Goes randomly in and out of 4x4 drive). One shop engine analysis shows 90-100 PSI compression on all 6 cylinders vs 150-180 PSI for a normal new engine-improper piston ring installation or ...? Another shop analysis (Chevy) found that they could not do an engine computer diagnostics due to a shorted wire and damage to vacuum line for the 4x4 and the radiator fan shaft. The owners were very unprofessional by using profanity and threats when I complained about the rebuild on the 2nd engine taking some 4 months. If you want transmission/engine work done do not go here, because they do not do good work nor uphold their warranty!

Not the best place to take a car. Took way too long to get the job done and they never said what was going on with the car. I had to stay on top of them weekly to figure it out.

One of my friends cars was messed up they took their car to the dealership and they were told it was going to cost hundreds of dollars, i told her to take it to Bucks they ended up fixing with just a solenoid for less than 200$ She was grateful for my refferal
