Beware of Certified Pre-Owned cars at Big O. Durango we bought was listed as Certified Pre-Owned on the internet. CarFax showed the vehicle was listed for sale by Big O as CPO. Salesman and finance guy both told us the vehicle was CPO. Turns out we got none of the CPO warranty, which is the main reason for buying CPO. Filed a complaint with BBB, and got the following reply from Big O: If your paperwork from the purchase of the vehicle does not say that it is CPOV then it is not CPOV. Pretty simple. Yes, its pretty simple we were misled.

Went in tonight to purchase a Ram Rebel. Hunter Smith made the process extremely easy. He was straightforward, and didnt play the usual salesman games. He brought me an offer, I countered once, we shook hands, deal done! From the time I set foot on the lot to the time I took delivery was the fastest Ive ever been through a car deal. Again when I got back to finance, and dealt with Thomas, he didnt play games. He got straight to the point and offered me a great deal on an extended warranty, which I never buy, but I did this time. Of all the car transactions Ive done, Big O was the smoothest and easiest, and I will definitely go back if Im in the market for another Dodge!
Had it not been for getting to talk to the tech, Mike, who worked on my truck, 2011 Ram 3500, Id of given their service dept 1 star. Mike explained what he had checked and where the issue with the cruise control probably was. The main issue I have is that Big O had my truck for a total of 9 days and probably kept the tech so covered up that he had minimal time to diagnose my truck. So, it cost me $533 and some change for them to install a part that should have fixed the problem but didnt and 5 additional days to diagnose the problem and they didnt find it. Conclusion...Being understaffed may be part of their problem. That said, DONT OVER BOOK APPOINTMENTS so your techs have the time to properly work on customers cars/trucks! I wont be using their service department again.
I went into Big O just to look and met Erik. When I say I had the BEST experience is an understatement.Erik was knowledgeable, professional and honest! Remember I was just looking and I walked out with a Dodge Ram 2500. It was quick, great deal and just what I needed to grow my business.Throughout the whole process I enjoyed myself. Erik went above and beyond for me. I will definitely recommend Big O to everyone I know. They are professional, courteous and treat customers right. Was offered a super low ball price on a trade in, and 30% lower price on selling it directly without purchasing from them- we asked the reason, they said it was because it had an accident on the carfax. They offered us so low in fact, that they ended up advertising the car for sale at 50% above what they gave us when we sold it. Salesperson was not transparent at all about pricing and evaded direct questions about financing, options, etc. which is why we chose not to buy there. Made a big mistake selling there and got majorly taken advantage of. Won’t make that mistake again and will never buy there.

First dealership that I’ve been to that actually fought for us. Got us into the car we wanted. From our salesman Richard all the way to the financing manager and then to Ike. I’d honestly have to say with Ike’s sense of humor made it all worth it. Thanks again Big O!!!
As many have mentioned, purchasing the vehicle was ok. However, be mindful that you should have plans to take your purchase elsewhere for service. DO NOT PURCHASE A SERVICE PACKAGE. Wait times are regularly 2 weeks. And, after having no one else touch the car and having my tires rotated during an oil change, my wheel CAME OFF while riding down the road with my child in the car with me. Thankfully, I had pulled over due to the shaking, but not before damage was caused. They now deny this as warranty coverage, will not accept responsibility, & recommended “I file with my insurance” though it’s not covered as I “didn’t collide with anything.” Not the first occurrence of their poor service over 8 months of ownership, but will definitely be the last car I purchase from them.
Big O Dodge does not care for its customers whatsoever. If you have the chance from any other dealership do it. Their service department is very unprofessional. In any business the customer comes first always but in this dealership it’s what they think is best for them. They do not care for their customers cars at all. Bring it to another dealership and be sure to give them specific instructions on how you want your car handled. They will also do things to your vehicle without asking you too. Stay away from this place!
Ann of the title department is outstanding. I was stressed about the delay of receiving my license plate for my new vehicle purchase. My travel plans would have been seriously impacted for the worse. Ann was genuinely concerned and took the initiative of personally handling the processing for my plates. I received them within days and couldnt be more appreciative of her over the top efforts to help me.
The service and parts department are the best. Everyone was extremely nice and got my jeep fixed quickly.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! All i ask for was oil change & tire rotation. I had a 10:30 appointment. I get a call at 2:30, that it was done. I come get it’s 4:30 and they tell me i can call an uber b/c they don’t have any cars available & my truck isn’t ready… meanwhile my kid is stuck at school, waiting for a ride. Like its just an oil chance, & tire rotation, what is the issue here? i also had an appointment, so i’m not sure what the problem was. The service department very un professional I called the service sept twice on thur once about 2pm and asked for agent by the name of Tyler. I was told by female who makes the appt he was in avil. So I call Back 4:15, the same lady answers the phone said she would take a message. I told her it’s been 2 hours and no call from tyler. She then replied he’s in a meeting. Less than 5 min Tyler calls. He can. It give me a straight Answer about my call. Tyler tells me he will have answer by the end of the day Friday again no call also no call on sat about my car. I say this to say the customer service agents at BIg O Dodge is horrible and still I don’t have my car. Go figure. 👹👺

Been a customer since 2019 and loved my experience with Donnie—he got me the car I wanted & the process went smoothly! However, when it comes to keeping my car in its best condition—this location is terrible! The service department & customer service needs new people. The personnel that answers the phones in that department are either not caring or knowledgeable, they would rather argue & talk over the customer. The people that actually work on your car will break items/parts on your car and up charge you for their mistake. The entire department is beyond shameful to the umpteenth degree. Highly disappointed.

Recently purchased a car here and it was all because of Tee. He was nothing but wonderful from the moment we met him. He was personable, patient, honest and all around a great guy. We found the exact same car for a better deal at a different dealership, but for us, Tee was the difference so we came back to buy from him. If youre in the market for a new car, be sure to ask for Tee! Josh was also very helpful and great to work with!
Horrible Customer Service... My friend was interested in a Chrysler 300 we decided to come here..We weren’t greeted when we went into get information about test driving a new 300. In fact as we were walking to the door, a representative looked at us, turned and walked away.. Then when we finally get someone (Rick), he automatically assumes we were wanting a Pre-Owned Car, when we clearly were pointing to the new side.. The Entire Test drive he was silent, which is funny because I thought car salesmen were suppose to SELL CARS. Instead, It was more of okay let’s go ahead and get this over with.. All in All horrible experience and will definitely be spreading the world about how awful this experience was.
The service department was well run and friendly for our first visit. Our service tech took the time to go over our 29-point inspection and the services that had been performed. One service item we had wanted did not happen (our son dropped off the vehicle and checked a wrong box) so our tech went over and above to get us in the next day, which was appreciated.

We bought a Dodge Charger here a few months ago and returned to buy a Jeep Grande Cherokee yesterday. This is a Family owned dealership and we received great personal service with no aggressive sales tactics both times. We definitely appreciate the time they took to help us find just what we want and to make the deal happen. Hunter was extremely patient and kind despite my million questions and multiple test drives, Id definitely recommend this dealership.
These guys are absolutely amazing. They were all absolutely fantastic and walked me through every step of the car buying process with outstanding courtesy and professionalism. I can say internet sales people are nice but on the lot they devalued my trade in by 4k and then tell me i need a 10k down payment before even letting me look at a car or running my credit i just go elsewhere this isnt good customer service at all when i know like everyone else does dealerships do rebates on new cars do the process before you put people down

The sales manager (Brian Blymiller) said since I was 29 days away from my lease ending I wouldnt be able to trade in my car. Went to another dealership and that wasnt the case! He only said that so he could take my trade for a steal. I dont recommend going there unless you want to get scammed!

We recently purchased a used car from Big O and we are completely satisfied with our experience! Our salesman, Hunter Smith, was fantastic! He was very personable, understanding, and not pushy whatsoever! Erin and Bob were wonderful as well when we were ready to go through with the purchase.
It was time to go back to a Jeep Wrangler because I was really missing my old Jeep. I looked for the perfect one online. I found one in Georgia. Tried to buy from them because they had exactly what I was looking for. The sales people were so terrible I decided not to give them my money. I decided to contact Big O Dodge/Jeep because theyre local even though they didnt have exactly what I wanted or at least I thought they didnt. They got in contact with me right away and matched me up with a sales person. I scheduled a time to stop by to test drive a couple. Colton Williamson (sales person) was extremely helpful and showed me a Jeep that ended up being more than I could ask for. It was the absolute perfect fit for me and I ended up making the purchase. Colton was excellent to work with and made the transaction easy. Ill definitely be using Big O Dodge/Jeep in the future.
Eric Peoples and Preston Franks went above and beyond for me today! Originally, I just came in for a routine oil change for me old Hyundai. I was just Browsing other cars while I waited and Eric was kind enough to approach me and enlighten me about the benefits of trading in. (I already planned on trading so he did not get over on me lol) Preston was as sweet as can be and very knowledgeable about my jeep. At the right price I am now riding in my brand new ride!!! Needless to say with the right salesperson who listens, you’ll be riding just right! Oh and fyi everyone, down to the service department was SUPER FRIENDLY! GO check out BIG O!

Service department should be renamed to NO service department. Unhelpful staff all huddled around a counter chatting and on their phones. Unfriendly, when finally someone was told to help me( I was the only customer in the service bay). 2 emails and 1 phone call to remind me I had made an appointment BUT no phone call to say my truck was done. 3 times I had to correct from CABIN air filter to ENGINE air filter ( the one I wanted replaced) and still wrong again on the invoice. Not even sure if they changed the correct one.Poor poor department.
I’m in the market for a luxury truck, I wanted to test drive all the major brands. I arrived at the dealership and after a few minutes a sales guy greeted me. He explained all the trim levels of the Ram to me and everything was going pretty average. Then after awkward pauses I had to ask for the test drive (Ram Limited). Odd, usually they can’t wait to get you in the car, but whatever. We’re on the test drive and the guy literally doesn’t say anything, I did all the talking and asked all the questions. Still seemed off but I’m just trying to get a feel for the Ram, which I loved. Getting toward the end of the test drive I told the guy, just want to feel it on the interstate then we can be done. He says, “sorry you can’t do that. It’s against our insurance. If you want to drive it in the interstate you can buy it” in a curt tone I might add. I’m not one to be confrontational, so I just drove straight back to the dealership. I asked the guy, you been selling cars long? He says “too long”. We arrived back at the dealership and he didn’t invite me in, didn’t take any of my information down. Didn’t ask me to look at pricing. It was just over.The Ram is a great truck, good chance I would have bought it that day. Instead, I bought an F-150 that cost more than the Ram. I wasn’t wearing the nicest clothes that day as it was my day off but as a business owner and executive I’d never be stupid enough to judge someone’s clothes as how much money they have. Go in any nice restaurant in any city and the guy wearing the nicest clothes probably won’t be the wealthiest guy there. Big-O-Dodge, I won’t be back.Parting thought, the Dodge dealership in Greer has 10x better service and honest pricing.
Such a good experience! I bought my first car from them with the help of Mr. Donnie Spann. (Hes fantastic so I would suggest asking for him.) He was so personable and transparent about everything it was refreshing after visiting lots of dealerships that day. Its a wonderful car and I am so grateful for his help!
I went here to Big’O’ to buy a used truck that I saw advertised but by time I was able to get there it was already sold. But no worries cause they had plenty of used trucks available.Donnie (salesman) helped with a truck that was just being cleaned up from a trade in. They did a pretty good job detailing the truck. I’m really pleased with my 2010 Dodge Ram 4x4.I recommend if you need a truck to especially see Donnie. He’s a good person and will try to work with you on you new purchase.
My sales representative, Alex was very helpful and found my wife and I the vehicle that best fit our needs. I have no complaints about him and his efforts. However, I am less than impressed with the service department and quality inspection of their used vehicles. My wife and I purchased a 2018 Jeep Compass and were initially very excited. However, 2 weeks after purchasing the jeep we blew out a tire, completely our fault. When we took the jeep to the auto shop for a new tire we were informed that we were sold a jeep with 4 different used tires, all with unequal tread lengths. If we were to put our jeep in 4 wheel drive we would have likely ruined our transfer case on the 4 wheel drive. That being said, blowing out the tire was a blessing because it alerted us to the bigger issue and saved us from a serious mechanical issue down the road.When I called Andy Georgia at Big O Dodge and informed him of my displeasure of being sold a 4 wheel drive vehicle that was not prepared to operate in 4 wheel drive he told me he would look into it with his service manager. I never received a return call and after 5 days of no reply from Big O I called them everyday for a week straight. I was finally connected with the service manager, Kevin, and he informed me that the jeep was sold “as is” and I should have recognized that the jeep I purchased from them had 4 different tires with different tread lengths.All this to say, go to McKenny Dodge as their customer service is light years better than Big O’s. I will never buy another car from Big O, nor would I trust their service department to work on my vehicle.
Literally the worst customer service Ive received anywhere in my life. I wouldnt give them my business if my life depended on it. Service department tried to scam me for 1100 bucks during a warranty claim. They then voided my vehicles warranty for not giving in to the extortion. Horrible Horrible Horrible place!!!

Went to this car lot just randomly walking in to look at cash cars they had a few on there lot. I ended up working with darryl a older gentleman he was honest and absolutely the best salesman i have dealt with in years. He was not pressuring me into a car he was making sure the price fitted my price range and everything, i loved how they treated the used cars like they’re new cars made sure the car was good before they let me drive it off the lot. I wanted a newer car but my credit score was not the best and darryl was upfront and honest with me not like most salesman that still would have ran my credit score even after telling them that it was poor which i liked that you dont get that these days darryl care about his customers like they are family I appreciate the experience i had with them I purchased a 2011 camry cash an it drives great. I also appreciate the finance manager who helped me as well we have the same birthday lol birthday twins so we clicked as well. But i will be returning in the future to trade this one back in an get something different i do recommend this dealership to anyone 5 STARS
My car was recently totaled by the hail storm, so we had very limited time and funds to find me a new one. It was not the ideal situation, especially considering that we bought a brand new car back in February and were not looking to purchase another new vehicle this year. We ended up going into Big O mostly because of proximity to my husbands work, as we only had time to look for cars on his lunch break. We were met right away by Robert Garcia, told him our story, what we were looking to purchase, and what our budget was. We test drove a Journey and loved it. He helped us figure out pricing and got us a great deal. We were hesitant to jump on right away as it was the only car we looked at. He was very respectful of our privacy and gave us several opportunities to talk through things ourselves. I finally admitted that I loved the Journey, but, as ridiculous as it sounds, I wanted it in red! They didnt have any red ones on the lot, so Robert talked to his manager and they worked together to get me the car in the color I wanted at no extra charge! The staff was also very patient with us and our two little babies, who had to be at the dealership with us for a couple of hours while we did all of the paperwork. The sales team did a good job at making a crummy situation much more enjoyable. I love my red car :)

Yesterday, Rick helped my husband and I with the purchase of 2017 Jeep Renegade! The customer service at Big O Dodge was phenomenal!!!From the moment I began speaking with Rick, I felt like he was listening to what I needed and was looking for in a vehicle. There was NO pressure! When my husband arrived, the customer service continued. Once Rick realized we had not eaten anything all day, he went so far as to feed us from their own catered lunch! Every office we visited from the time we agreed to purchase to the final signing was nothing but the best customer service. I had a great experience here today. My Jeep had a recall and I brought it here. They took care of the recall and provided me with a loaner car while they were fixing it. They were very friendly and helpful!
I would give the service department zero stars if I could. We called to have recall work done on our truck. We were scheduled for two months out. We took it in on a Saturday at 8:30 as instructed and was told it would be ready around lunch. I guess we should have asked “lunch, what day?” We called and sent text multiple times starting at 2:00. We finally talked with someone who said it would be ready at 3:45. We showed up, guess what? No truck! My husband asked why - they said they had an unfortunate circumstance and could not get to it. What?? It took the entire shop for this “circumstance”? He said it would only be 10 more minutes. We finally got our truck at 4:40.We will take our truck to another state before we will ever come here again!When Michael Odom was alive we bought, and had serviced, every Dodge vehicle we owned. He was an honest man who made sure that you were satisfied. When he died this place turned into a dump. Michael would be ashamed of what his business has become. The service “advisors” are simply liars, there is no other way to say it. They lied to us multiple times in one day.We are contacting Chrysler to file a complaint!

Very disappointed with treatment at Big O. Was trying to buy a nice new truck and was told one price and when it came to sign papers the price had changed. Just a waste of time on a Saturday afternoon. Please consider your customers time after switching the deal. Well the owner tells me I was confused so why did they call to agree to sales price after I left there store?Because they were confused-not me.
We were referred by a friend, and now I know why. Wow! Nothing like I expected. This dealership is nothing like any other. Horrible experience. Car was towed to the service department there. Rodger from the service department called me saying I need to replace a list of items. Cut me off each time I mentioned the fact that I have a warranty, saying your warranty will not help. Knowing that he never checked. Then, he said my bill would be over $1600 for what he called minor repairs. After several call backs, I finally talked him down to $700 for a battery and fuse replacement. Looked online and knew they over charged. Went to go pick up the vehicle and they were extremely unprofessional. No one spoke to my wife and I when we arrived. We went over and spoke with a random guy that rushed us inside to a pay window to wait for Rodger. Rodger came rushing inside from the outside bay. Would hardly let us see the repairs before we paid and tried to rush us to pay. Then at the counter he wouldnt tell us the cost of the additional recommended repairs. Just put the number on a sticky note and handed it back to the girl behind the counter at the pay window. When I finally paid, and saw the new estimated repair bill, they wanted to charge $1000 for brakes and pads...They are very unprofessional and over charge..Will never return for any business
May 18th, I rented a car out of state to go buy a used car from one of your car sales man Josh Korb. Josh handled everything which made buying a new to me car very simple. If this review was about Josh it would of been a five star review. My issues started the moment i went into the finance office. Whomever the very rude finance guy that doesn’t take no thank you, for yalls extended warranty really should take some customer service classes. I know he only gets paid on what he sells on the extended warranty. But being told no, this mans demeanor changed 100%. I expected this would be the case. I brushed it off and moved on. June 17th came. I had to contact Josh because my state had not received the tax money that Big O said they would send. Josh looked into it and let me know it had just been sent out. Ok, fine. July 20th came i went to the dmv and they explained to me that the check was incorrect and they let me know that they had to contact big O to get the correct amount. So i contacted Josh again to see where this process was. He explained they sent out the correct check July 14th and i should be receiving the remaining amount due to me over paying on taxes. August 13th i still havent received this check, i contact Josh once again. He contacts his office manager and informs me the check will be sent out August 18th. I receive This check finally but with a very big discrepancy In the amount. August 26th Josh is contacted once again and tells me his comptroller will contact me. She finally calls. Gives me a run around on why i only received a fraction of what i should of been sent. I i simply asked her to send me all my finance paperwork via mail because i wasn’t given it the day i bought the car. You’d of thought i asked this woman to bend over and do the impossible for simply sending me the paperwork via mail. She got extremely rude with my simple request. Today is September 3rd and i still haven’t received my finance paperwork i requested.Now that you are caught up. Let’s recap. 1) Josh was a standup sales guy. I’d recommend him if he didn’t work for Big O. 2) Stay ontop of things because what they promise will not get done unless you text and call to ask about the issue. 3) everyone else that i have had to deal with has drawn things out. I shouldn’t have to keep on and on about something i was promised. 4) this process still isn’t handled and i bought my car over four months ago. Completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this dealership for this reason alone.
I was more than 100% satisfied with the customer service I received from Charles Leopard the parts manager at Big O Dodge. He took special care of me when I was in need of parts to service my SRT8. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty. He is dedicated to his job and an asset to the company. I plan on doing more business with Big O Dodge because of his kindness and professionalism. He is honest and proficient. It was so nice to deal with someone pleasant these days. Take care and thanks again for your help!

Really bad communication....Chris was my sales advisor and would not return a call unless I had the receptionists Angela leave him a personal message to call me back. I had my work vehicle towed here on Tuesday morning at 11am and was told there are 10 vehicles head and we will look at it tomorrow. I called Wednesday morning around 11 and left a message with Chris to let me know any updates so I can proceed from there. As of Thursday I still havent gotten a call so I leave another message around 10am. I called again a hour later and had to get Angela to leave a message begrudgingly, as she just wanted to transfer me to his voicemail to which I responded he hadnt called me back. He calls me back promptly and has a 2 minute conversation saying they had to order a battery and 150 amp fuse and it will be ready tomorrow. Friday comes and I hear nothing, so I call and leave a message at 1pm. I then call back about a hour or so later and talk to Angela again who after talking to her shortly goes to ask Chris if the vehicle will be ready, again begrudgingly. She comes back on the phone and says the part wont be in until monday and the vehicle will be ready tuesday now. I ask to talk to Chris who tells me the same thing and starts to insinuate I am a liar and he never said that. I tell him I have the conversation recorded and I can prove it to which he tries to argue back. I then hang up the phone and drive 20 minutes to the dealership to talk to Chris manager because thats unacceptable. His manager (unsure of his name) was apologetic and offered to make an exception and fix the car on a saturday, will call me tomorrow and will have it to me then. I never got a call from this manager although his reasoning sounds plausible and he said the number he had on file wouldnt go through. Either way I had to call and speak to a sales manager and receptionist that had no idea what was going on but did get the situation rectified. The real allstar here was the poor receptionists on Saturday that caught the apex of my frustration. Even though she was unsure how to handle the situation and her hands were tied she handled the situation with extreme poise and was extremely professional. If Chris or Angela had the same attitude as her this review would be completely different.
