They hardly ever deliver my packages or leave a slip for me to use to pick them up, I guess Im just supposed to guess where my stuff is. They dont seem to have any trouble leaving my neighbors packages on my porch for me to deliver though. Left my job early to go into the post office to retrieve yet another package only to be greeted by snarky and unnecessary comments. Ive never had a worse postal service in my life.
Always get my neighbors mail which is annoying but figured it wasnt worth complaining about since we all know their story. Today was icing on the cake heard her coming like its a race track but she had already thrown my mail in the box and took off while I watched the payment I had put in the mailbox with the flag up drift to the ground. Fortunately I was home or who knows where it would have ended up. Absolutely the worst delivery people Ive ever seen in 60 years they should all be fired.
Its the Post Office, people. Get a grip on yourselves. The Greensburg PO is worlds better than most. Judging by some of these comments, I think some folks have nothing else to do but complain. Youre able to go online to complain about your mail carrier and USPS at-large, but you cant go online to pay your bills?
This was my first experience with Greensburg USPS and I could not be more pleased. Jason and Josh and the rest of the team went above and beyond to track down my package. I am so thankful for them and their passion for helping the Greensburg community.
Excellent service and very polite. Even when lines are long, they work hard to move as quickly as possible.
They do have longer lines at times but they move as fast as they can. Very nice & polite customer service :)
7 people in line.. 5 people in the back.. 1 person working the counter... And that one person has been talking about candy and everything ells except her job leaving the line to stack up as she moves as slow as possible. Constantly stoping what she is doing to talk about what ever. Lines getting pretty long now.
Delivery is always at different times. Frequently get the neighbors mail. Me and one neighbor (2 miles away) have become friends because we have to give each other their packages so often.
I saw the reviews and feel relief knowing it is not just me.!!!! My mail works on a 2-4 week delay. I get it when they feel like delivering it. I missed the deadline to apply for very important things, checks missing, it is crazy. I cannot believe a post office is allowed to get away with operating like this. Filed many complaints and still, get my mail whenever they decide to give it. I get most mail delivered to a relative just to avoid it but some places will only deliver to your place of residence. I drive 30-45 minutes each way to get my mail weekly.
DIANE who works at the front desk was so helpful to me when I was attempting to renew my passport. She explained the process so professionally and made it so easy for me to follow the steps. Than you again, Diane
If you want to be made to feel like an idiot and useless to the Earth, go see Rose at the Post Office! A house fly has a better personality and customer service skills compared to her. Enjoy!
Big delays with parcel drop off
So unprofessional it’s unreal. Everyone here is completely miserable, you put a hold on your mail and they don’t even hold it. Stuff gets put into lock boxes and they give you the wrong keys. They treat you like everything is your fault and you’re to blame when they can’t do their job properly. And god forbid you have to ask a question because either they don’t answer the phone, or you’re met with attitude
Ive always had a pleasant experience with office staff and my carrier....even if my reasons for being there were frustrating.One package went missing off my porch last May (seems some folks have sticky fingers) and upon mentioning it to my carrier, he agreed to place my packages further onto my porch and has done so consistently.Around Christmas I received a 2nd notice (didnt recieve a 1st). A kind man downstairs in the loading area found it (it was an international package thus not where the girls upsairs could easily find it) and stated he would bring it to my house....I was out and about already so he loaded it into my truck for me.Things happen, people are busy, things on their minds. Be kind to one another.
Each day is like playing the lottery as to whether or not a carrier actually shows up with our business mail. When you call the Greensburg office they absolutely dont care that they are failing the business community. I guess it is foolish to hope for more from a poorly run monopoly.
Had trouble with pobox billing, was told to come back next week to talk to another person. Tried cashing a 200 usps money order and was told they dont keep much cash on hand to cash them and I was turned away. The limit on them is only 1000 and there are banks in the area that im sure they can get money from. I had to drive to another post office after first calling them to see if they had 200 dollars. Was told I could go to Walmart but im sure that would cost me. If walmart has money to cash money orders they dont even issue why cant the government? Guess Im being silly. Its the government.
This is the most unprofessional, worthless post office Ive ever seen. One simple, first-class, certified mail envelope with tracking is unable to be delivered, three days in a row. Each day I called, past the first date of the guaranteed delivery date, they said Oh, itll be delivered today. Three days in a row. Now, Ive been calling for a solid HOUR straight, and its busy nonstop. Or its off the hook, because theyre useless. Now theyre closing in 30 minutes, and I guarantee itll be busy until 5:00 PM, upon which theyll conveniently close. Of course you have no other way to get a hold of them.
This post office has the worst customer service. I am widowed and physically handicap with Multiple Scleroisisand can not access my mailbox. I have tried for 8 months to be able to move my mailbox closer to my house so I could actually be able to use it. I provided this post office postmaster a letter from my doctor telling this and I have just been ignored. They have cost me money because I live alone and have no way of getting to my mailbox and because my bills that I have to mail have been late and I am charged the late fee. When I tried to pay a bill online it was taken out twice which cost me almost two hundred in bounced fees.I have had serveral items said they were delivered but they were not delivered to me. This post office does not deserve even one star.
Left a box of priority medical supply’s on the side of the highway under our mailbox which is a quarter mile from our home with no notification of deliver. Terrible service would trust a carrier pigeon over their handling, very unprofessional.
This office has terrible customer service, when you speak to them on the phone they are not professional at all. You would think with the lack of people using the postal service, they would be concerned about keeping customers happy. KEEP IT UP GREENSBURG, YOULL BE OUT OF A JOB SOONER THAN YOU THINK.
On Saturday my mail that couldn’t fit in my mailbox was wedged between the mailbox and the post instead of walking it to my front door.We were gone for most of the evening and when I arrived home this piece of mail was ruined due to the rain that happened that evening. Normally I would be upset except that it was my child’s college diploma which thanks to an incompetent mail person is ruined. Thanks for making the most meaningful document to my child a ruined piece of junk. Whoever you are that delivered it you should be fired.
Always very long wait, no parking, and my house is almost 15 minutes away but this is the closest post office. Rediclious, Hempfield / fort Allen should have their own post office!
They have a terrible habit of not bothering to come up my road and marking my packages as attempted delivery. People are at the house ALL DAY (my grandfather AND my live-in sibling whose job is literally getting the mail!) and this is the third or fourth time just this year that the driver has lied about no one answering the door. The UPS location isnt far from here. Save yourself the headache and ship with them instead.
The ladies that work the front do a excellent job of Expediting the lines and quickly servicing the guest! It looks like 2 ladies doing 4 mens worth of work!!!
The Greensburg Pennsylvania post office is a JOKE!I received my package of hundreds of dollars worth of makeup on Monday, with a key to unlock a different mailbox where our packages go.. The key I was given is bent and does not open the mailbox.. It is now Friday, and I still have not been able to retrieve my package. I called the Greensbrg post office everyday since Monday and was told by Billie Jo, that she was going to call the carrier and the carrier will get it to me promptly by the next day. Well that was a lie! Either Billie jo never called, or my mail lady is a complete idiot and doesnt understand English and cannot comprehend simple directions.When I finally get a hold of my makeup package, and if it is ruin because of the freezing temperatures outside, someone is getting sued, and they will have to compensate for the damages!!!!!THIS IS HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE
I have been complaining about my carrier for 2 years now and they never do anything about it. She constantly crams packages in my box and leaves the box open with my mail sticking out, especially in the rain.
THE RUDEST driver ever.. She is NEVER in a good mood. I park by my mailbox and the one day she yelled at me saying she needs 40 feet on each side so she doesnt have to get out of her truck. She is beyond lazy, leaving packages in the rain, and just not caring. There needs to be something changed here.

Our Route driver in Hempfield is the worst! Never gets out of the vehicle - leaves packages in rain - or if it doesnt fit - they just dont deliver the package! My porch is 40 feet from the road - no excuse!
