Was the most professional waxing I have received. The staff was extremely nice, the business was spotless, and the woman doing my back and brazilian wax as nice as could be... extremely professional! It has been a while sense I received a waxing and always the way they make you get on your hands and knees... its always felt humiliating, embarrassing and degrading. At Waxing The City you dont do that. You stay flat the entire time which was a huge relief. If you are looking for a fantastic place then Waxing The City in Greensboro, NC is the place. 5+ STARS!

As soon as I walked in, Tammie made me feel so at ease. My 1st time getting waxed 😳😬😂 The atmosphere was so warm, yet calm. Lauren, my esthetician, was so friendly and thorough. She played some incredible tunes too. 😁 I will most certainly return for another Brazilian and possibly my eyebrows next time. Great service! Affordable.

Boy oh boy, the employees are super friendly. They are kind and gentle so I wouldnt worry if this is your first time. This is the place to go for sure. Also, after my service i asked about facial care (regarding a product for skin care) and was given much detail in this topic. They really care about your well being, not just a random place to get a wax. I will be back ladies!

I had a wonderful experience everyone is very warm & friendly. Someone was there to greet me within seconds on entering the facility. The technician was very professional explaining the wax treatment & the process to get my skin healthy. Tammie did an amazing job educating me on their skin care products. I can tell a difference in my skin from the the first application. This is a great place looking forward to future visits.

This place is awesome and Brooke is a great conversationalist and person who did my wax job. These ladies have a great sense of humor and are very professional. I wont go anywhere else.

This was the best waxing experience I’ve ever had. They were friendly from the moment I walked in the door. They took my temperature and were wearing masks. I was taken right back and my waxer came right in. She explained everything she was doing and promptly got the work. It was the least painful wax I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back. I honestly love this place!!! Had my second wax with them. The energy and wonderful women here are friendly and very inviting!!! From the time I walked in till the time I left they were fantastic. They don’t rush and they make sure to inform you of what’s going on how everything looks and I had no questions or concerns when leaving. Definitely would recommend 100%!!!!

This is my second time at this location. The location is always clean, and staff is always friendly and professional. My most recent wax was amazing (Brooke P)! She made me very comfortable, and talked during the whole wax. She mad sure that I was satisfied with my results as well as recommending the Sugar scrub (which is also amazing). I think I found my new wax studio and my new waxer. I’ve seen both Brooke’s and they both are amazing!

The people who work there know what they are doing down to a T and wouldnt trust any other place to touch me with wax now that Ive been here. I was sooooo scared/nervous about getting my first Brazilian. I had Brooke C and within 2 minutes I was calm, laughing, and totally comfortable. She was great! It didnt hurt nearly as bad as I expected. It was clean, they went over before/after care really well, and I felt comfortable and at ease right away. You could tell that Brooke really loved her job and she was personable and awesome! Would definitely recommend!

Came in today and my appointment was awesome! I was greeted by two lovely ladies in the front that were awesome to talk to!!! Felt like I was speaking to friends and not just another customer that came through the door! Then my cerologist Liz was awesome very gentle and great at informing me on the products used while waxing! I was so pleased I set my next appointment at check out! Got waxed here not so long ago. Not my first time waxing but first time here. I was very disappointed. Specialist did not really remove my hair with follicle but rather broke it. I had hair that started growing back on the third day after waxing. This has never happened to me before. Now I’m left with irritated from hair growth skin and a lot of ingrown hairs because the technique that the specialist used was very rough and weird.hopefully next time I’ll get a different specialist

Excellent 1st time experience. Matali took wonderful care of me. I was greeted upon entering and was provided a beverage. I filled out my form and within minutes, I was in room. Everything was explained beforehand. I was made comfortable and my nerves quickly settled. I enjoyed conversing with Matali and there was no question that she couldn’t answer. The room was comfortable, the music was relaxing and great and the atmosphere was inviting and calming. This place is modern and I loved that every face had a smile or welcoming expression. I was informed of the before and after care, what to expect, products that I may like, membership for their club. I swear I was sold almost immediately. I’ll definitely be returning and I will request Matali because she’s just that great, but if she’s not available, I have no doubt that the other ladies will handle me with the same care. Great Job Waxing the City. I’m so glad I chose this facility.

I definitely recommend them both.I only ever write reviews when they are deserved, and this is one of those times.After having several bad Brazilian wax experiences at other wax centers, I couldnt have asked for a better experience at Waxing The City, today. The atmosphere was both inviting and relaxing (they even had fun halloween decorations!) The staff members were warm and welcoming, as well. Upon entering, I was pleasently greeted by the front desk host, Tamara, who didnt hesitate to engage in conversation with me. She even grabbed me a water and sympathized with me about my previous experiences, then assured me that I would have a much better experience with them. And she was so right. My cerologist was Matali and she was so friendly and compassionate right from the beginning. She was very patient with me and put me at so much ease. She was great at conversation and did not get frustrated when I flenched or tensed up. She went over everything with me and was beyond helpful. Personality aside, she also did a great job and had great a waxing technique. Although it was painful because I shaved in between, it barely even felt like she covered the entire area because she was so mindful of her placement. I was shocked when she said she was finished because I thought that she might of missed a few areas, but nope! After it was over, I immediately booked my next appointment with her. I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else, now. They definitely restored my faith in cerologists. I highly recommend booking with Matali!

Upon entering the studio, I loved the chic layout and the clean, professional atmosphere. Presentation means everything. They really aim to be personable and make you feel at home. Matali was my cerologist and her care for detail and technique was awesome! Im not new to waxing, so ive had an array of experiences, but I highly recommend these ladies trained at Waxing the City. I experienced minimal pain and appreciated the pre, during, and post care steps taken for optimal result and actual care for the skin being waxed as well not just hair removal! Esthetic professionals. Try them!

Brooke P is AMAZING! I recently moved to Greensboro from Charlotte and was very nervous about finding a places that tints and waxes brows without using those awful strips. I had been going to ultraskin wax center in Charlotte for years and was affraid I couldnt find anything here comparable. My brows look PERFECT, Im a redhead so my brows are naturally blonde so i have to get them tinted to match my hair color. Brooke knocked it out of the park. I want her to do my brows from here on out!! Thank you Brooke P!
