Turned in a trailer there on Sunday a worker was there even though the location was closed and I got charged 2 extra days for something I turned in early. I will use budget from here on out.

We stored our stuff there for two weeks between moves. When we returned, our couch was invested with ants and ants had made their way to other areas as well. We had purchased insurance for the unit (through Uhaul) in case anything went wrong, but apparently it didnt cover insect infestation. So thanks to Uhaul we have to throw out furniture that we paid them to safely store AND that we paid them to insure.Everything else about the unit was great, but insect infestation trumps it all.

The unit I rented had not been cleaned out prior to my rental. I cleared it out my own disabled self.

Emergency break down needed a truck and trailer to get my motorcycle home. Actual address is 911 W. Gate Blvd. Staff will work with. Great people. I work for Penske so you know for me to brag about UHaul means something.

My mom has had a storage at this facility for 6 years now at the Greensboro its nice clean and neat

I was there yesterday 12/ 12/ 18 to rent a storage building everyone was very nice but the driveway was horrible packed with snow you couldnt hardly walk much less do anything else.. I would not have rented one if it had been free they did not have anyone to clean their parking lot and seemed very unconcerned about it. People were sliding all over the place and I saw several loading that almost fell. Know one seemed to care nor assist them.

Some months go fine; some months...call @ night, it goes easier for some reason (there is an older gentleman/person who used to work here/run this place when it was University Mini-Storage which got bought by someone else I no longer remember with no warning so they could slap a few more bucks on everyone then came U-Haul not long afterwards; U M-S had no system issues; they also answered the phone, the obsolete kind they have thousands of @ Goodwill; they didnt call two minutes before closing to get out of anything because they werent crazy).

Truck prices could have been better for an out of state one way move.

Since uhaul took over from the prior owners there has been nothing but grief and hassle. From opting us in to storage insurance we didnt ask for, to locking people out of accessing the building with uhaul-issued access cards, to problems with their online payment system and putting an unexplained $2 charge on client accounts--a charge which can only be removed by personally visiting the 911 gate city blvd office. A phone call wont do it. Nothing can be handled at the actual storage location itself. God forbid you attempt to call to try to resolve anything. Youll likely be passed on to some call center outside greensboro and good luck getting a call back.A display was put up that states climate controlled areas are kept in a temperature range of 45F - 80F degrees. The display includes a needle-based temperature gauge with a red range below 45 and above 80. When the needle is in the red range customers are advised to call management. The lowest temperature should be at least 55 F year round. The prior owners kept the climate controlled areas at a reasonably constant 55-70 degrees F. Now, if customers are not frequently visiting their units, they wont know when the temps are in the red range of below 45 and above 80. This is why UHAUL needs personnel ON SITE to monitor such things and not leave it up to the tenants to monitor the location for them.Based on my experience and those of my friends, I would not recommend this location.
