UPDATE: So even though they are the ones that discontinued service in my area they sent a bill for $65.34 to remove their cans. That is ridiculous! That is what I was paying for three months of service.I was a customer of theirs for 14 years. Without any notice they discontinued our service and my neighbors in the area. After multiple attempts to get answers I finally spoke with an unhelpful customer service rep over the phone. She said they are no longer covering our area and directed us to some random number in Troy. I called them and they said they do not service our area. The customer service is absolutely ridiculous. Had they gave us warning that would be a different story however we have been without answers or trash pickup for almost three weeks. Had I known how poor their service was and their lack of respect for customers then I would have switched a long time ago.

Everything was fine for 4 years, until we moved. Then they wanted to charge us for things they didn’t do, like removing a recycle bin. We never had a recycle bin. They charged us for removing a trash can that we left for the new occupants. We didn’t tell them to remove the trash can.We spoke with 2 different reps, none in Guilford County because you can’t speak with anyone locally, and they told us different reasons why we were being charged after moving away. One told us the charge would be dismissed. Three weeks later we got another email bill. Inept, incompetent, and unprofessional.I did what you asked. We got a response back from my email asking what issue we wanted assistance with. Everything was attached as you requested.

I have been trying since June 28th (today is July 19th) to start service with this company. I have submitted 3 times on their website and every time I call I sit on hold for over 30min with no answer. I never get a call back when requested and I now have a months worth of trash at the house I just moved to.

This company is the worst. They want their bill paid but they are not providing the service. We are missed all the time. They really do not deserve 1 star, but in order to leave a review, you had to rate them. Our recycle can seems to be the one that is missed often and when you call them about it, they say they cant give a credit because we only pay for trash and that free recycle is included...... We care about our environment so we make sure to recycle everything we can. Obviously they dont care about the environment at all or they would make sure to pick up the can. I really dislike this company and I would not recommend them to anyone.

NO PRIDE! Driver leaves a huge mess! The truck dumps the cans into the hopper (automatically), then tumbles them into the street. No courtesy to upright them once they fall over. My kids give service workers holiday gifts, but not this company (anymore)!

I am leaving a review on my parents behalf. They pay extra money for this service to specifically come down their driveway for pickup. In the last four months the pickup has been hit and miss. The longest that they have gone without trash removal was three weeks. My father had to take their garbage to the dump. Today on 8/14, they were missed again. Calling your office does not work. I hope this gets your attention. I hate seeing my parents pay for a service that is not carried out.

In short, I call to cancel my service last week, they literally came in my yard and took the damn can outta spite instead of leaving it because it was NOT at the road!! So, if you want good service regarding trash removal, I highly recommend that you REMOVE IT YOURSELF because the rates are MUCH cheaper and the service is MUCH better!!To the management, there is NO apology that can fix this severed business relationship. So, dont even try and good luck getting money for that first and final bill yall sent me!!

Smh!.....How in the !#!* do you interrupt my service for a service interruption fee!?....Noooo! not the actual bill but a $35 interruption fee has now doubled to $70...the same amount as upcoming bill!...Predatory business tactics at its finest.....Republic is TRASH!!...They wont pick up your trash/recycle regularly but they will gouge your pockets faithfully.. Ive only lived in Summerfield a few years and this company has been terrible from day 1. Most recent example...last week we had our trash cans by the road the night before regular pickup as usual. Our trash can was completely skipped the day of pickup for reasons we cant figure out (Wednesday). I started calling the next day (Thursday) to try and get a missed pickup scheduled. Ive talked to numerous reps and sent an email with several promises that someone will be there today before close of business. It is now Monday of the following week and still no service. Also no contact from anyone though I was told I was escalated to a supervisor. Last time this happened it took almost a month to get straightened out. This is ridiculous.

The service provided by the household trash pickup is HORRIBLE! We are held hostage by this company as they are the only ones who will service our area near Northern HIgh School. Would switch in a heartbeat if there was another company! The driver is completely unprofessional and obviously does not care. We have trash all over this morning from his reckless and Again.....HORRIBLE service. Their recycling pickup is much better! Q is very professional and conscientious of what is going on. Wish we could dump them. Missing Waste Management we had before moving.

Moved to Greensboro 2 years ago and got their service. It’s always been subpar at best. But for the last 3 months they have not picked up my trash for 2 consecutive weeks. Constantly having to waste my time calling or going online to do a missed pickup. The last week they missed the pickup and then missed the scheduled missed pickup! I called, canceled and move my service to GFL. They were suppose to pick up the cans 5 days ago. Yet they still sit at the end of my street. They need to clean out the office and get people in there who have a clue. I would never recommend this horrible service

For the second time in six months Republic Waste didn’t service the whole neighborhood. 299 homes somehow were missed last Friday. When you call in to complain you get a less than knowledgeable call center representative. No one can provide an explanation on how a whole neighborhood could be missed. Utter incompetence!

I really hate to even put 1 star. I would rather not put any at all. I paid for containers to be delivered. Two weeks before I requested them be delivered on a certain day. Three weeks later I still had no containers. They don’t pickup half of the time. I watched from my window and saw the driver break an item that I had in the container to throw away and he threw it in my yard. I’ve requested to end my service. Now they’re saying that I have to wait a month and pay $65 to have my containers picked up. What?!? That’s crazy!

One of the worst companies with which I have ever done business. When I signed up for service, it took them 6 weeks to deliver cans to my address. In the interim, while I waited for cans, they instructed me to place my loose trash at the road and the driver would pick it up. The trash was intentionally not completely picked up. About 6 months in to my service, the company decides to change trash day but not recycling day, so I was required to drag cans to the road twice a week for them to not even be picked up half of the time. Then another 6 months goes by and they change service days again. Very inconsistent. 4 months ago I called to cancel service. The company did not cancel my service and instead chose to continue charging me, even though I had stated I didnt want the service anymore. When I called again to cancel last month, they instructed me I would be receiving a credit back for one month out of the 3 I didnt want, since I cancelled day 1 of the last month of the billing cycle. When the credit showed up on my account, so did a container pick up charge, which the incompetent service rep on the phone failed to inform me about. it has been a miserable experience from day one.

Not a good first impression. Moved into an area where this is the only company for garbage pickup. Called to start service, paid for cans, waited 2 weeks for delivery date, and they were not delivered. Called and was told they are behind and will be delivered in 4 more days. Based on the reviews Ive read, Im guessing that probably wont happen and it will take several more phone calls to get them delivered. If you have to pay for something in advance, the company should meet the expectations THEY set. I can understand maybe missing something, but when you call, they should make it right that day.

I called to start service 2 weeks ago and was told i would recieve the can the following monday. No trashcan on monday so i called tuesday and was told it would be that day but still did not recieve can so i called again and was told it had been rescheduled to friday well here it is another monday the pick up day and i still do not have can so now even if the can comes today ill have to wait another week for pick up so thats another week i have to take off my own trash which i dont want to do thats why i paid for this service. So far im not happy at all and im just getting started.

I give them a one star because they expect for customers to understand when they have missed pickups. My neighborhood had a missed pick up. We got a call that because of a problem with a truck we would have a one day delay. That was Wednesday. Today is Sunday. They have not called nor have they picked up. If you miss a payment they will charge interest one your bill that accumulates interest So what are they going to do after missing our pickup. This is unexcused. I saw their trucks on other streets in our area. Others in the area had their trash picked up. They OWE us!

They missed our recycling pick up. We thought no big deal, well just put it out again the next run. Once again, they came and picked up our trash but did not get our recycling. That seemed odd since I passed the truck as I was coming into our neighborhood. I called to report a missed pick up and followed the proper procedure. Fast forward, 1 week 4 phone calls, 2 online form submissions, and 4 broken promises of when it would be picked up and yes... Its still here. If you manage Waste Management bids and contracts on behalf of your community, I beg you to consider other options besides this company. If you own or manage a company that is an alternate solution or competitor to Republic Waste Management I would strongly encourage you to include copies of their reviews with your proposal for services. They may be good people put in a bad circumstance by the management of their company, but I honestly have no idea how they will stay in business with this type of service. This was certainly not the first time weve had issues. It was just the straw that broke the camels back.

Not sure what has happened to this company but it has went down hill for the past couple of months... Not sure if its under new management or if they are low staffed but they really need to get a grip on their service. My recycle doesnt get picked up as scheduled. when you call, they are very apologetic & sweet which I appreciate, but that doesnt get my recycle picked up... AND on the business side.. we have a 30 yd dumpster at our office. They never pick it up when scheduled.. Our dumpster is current filled to capacity and has been for almost a month.. we call a couple times a week every week and it still has not been picked up. We are a business and need to be able to use this dumpster. We are now taking a debris to the landfilled ourselves. Looking for other options

This is probably the worst run business on the planet. We have been paying these jerks for 16 years for garbage pickup because they are the only service available in our area. Last winter, we went without garbage pickup for 3 WEEKS! Ive been paying for both recycle and trash pickup for 2 years and although they charged me the full rate, I had to complain to the BBB to get them to give me a recycle bin. I was being charged for about 1.5 years for a service I wasnt receiving. Trash pickup day is designated as Thursday, Sunday now and at the curb it sits - full. I guess one of the guys on the truck wanted to get home early, so the hell with the customer, just leave the cans full. They skipped my entire street. As for the BBB, they list this business as NR (not enough info to rate) when there are close to 2000 negative reviews for this business on their site. How many reviews do you need to give a rating??? The lowest rating you can get or give is 1 star. Guess what their rating is? 1 star. Cmon BBB, do your job. Are you scared of these guys? Give them the F they so rightfully deserve. They are THE WORST.

I wish I would have read the reviews before signing up. I called 6/13 to initiate services, received an email that they delivered the can 6/17. When I got home from vacation.. there was not a trash can in sight. They then said it would be delivered 6/24... never delivered. I called 6/25 and the call was to be escalated as a priority to the truck manager.. I never received a call back. Today (6/26) I cannot even reach the Greensboro branch because their phone line is giving a busy signal. I called the Charlotte branch and they were unable to connect me with a manager as well. I guess it is a blessing in disguise, I would not want to do business with this company.

These people do not pick up trash & recyclables on the days of week that they state to you. This is not just due to bad weather, but during the summer also. I just had the guy pick the cardboard out of my recyclable bin & leave a clear glass bottle that was very clean. And this is not the first time this has happened. But I called the main office this time & told them. We will see what happens now.I wish I could give less that 1 star.

Gosh their customer service skills are deplorable.Overcharged me and didn’t pick up the trash on numerous occasions then I cancelled service took them 4 months to pick up the trash can then I received a bill for $95. I’m disgusted I emailed them was told that this is for cleaning and refurbishing their trash can. Poor service please don’t put yourself through this if there’s other options take it.

They are the only game in town so what do you do but suffer through the horrible service? Hopefully the actual trash pickup wont be as bad as the can delivery is. Horrible!!!!!! I paid over 500 dollars for a dumpster rental. I have been waiting since 6/4/2018 for the delivery. June 4 was the date it was to arrive. I have called multiple times. No one knows where it is and no one knows when it will be delivered. Sad. Pitiful. TERRIBLE. NEVER on time but certainly no delay in taking my money! They simply say they will send a note to operations but you (as the customer) are not allowed to talk to operations. I asked for operations phone number. I was told she didnt have a phone number. I asked then how do you talk to them. She responded that they dont give out that number. Thats when I said ah, now that is the truth finally. Operations, NEVER calls you. Here I sit.... waiting.

During our Friday pick up our trash container was broken by Republic Waste. I called and requested the container be replaced and was told it would take up to a week. When I called to check on the status of the container replacement I was told it would now be two weeks due to shortage a containers. So Republic dropped a new recycle can off a couple months ago (thank you!). My wife called and asked about pick up of the old one. On 2 calls she was instructed to leave it by the road on pickup day and it would be picked up, never to happen. Today they damaged the new can dropped off and didnt empty the entire trash can. I called customer service and inquired on pick up and the newly damaged can. I was told that they are on back up of a month and half to pick up the old can. I asked what am I supposed to do? I was told to leave the old can out by the street and it would be picked up when they get to it! First this was never instructed to my wife, only in their so called notes and two, our HOA would never allow an orphaned trash can on the street for a month and half. This service is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there any other option in Northern Guilford area?????

You truly want to know why I cancelled my service with you and went to Joes Sanitation Service? It is because you call me the day before recycle pick up to remind me it is my recycle day and then dont pick it up. You have failed to perform scheduled pick up several times, though it gets picked up it should not be two days later. Wish it was possible to get another garbage service in our neighborhood, their own website says have the cans at the road by 7am day of your scheduled pickup....but lots of the time they show up at 6am, or not at all! You go to the website or call to tell them they missed a pickup, no one calls, emails, no one cares. There website offers pickup reminders, but it goes off your address and their own website doesnt know what day my trash is picked up!I take my own recycling to a local drop off 8 miles away even though Im paying them for a freaking can, and my garage constantly has garbage bags in it because the can is OVERFLOWING because they never pick the damn thing up. Youve got one freaking job and you cant do it. For 60 bucks a quarter this company is a bad joke.

Called and spoke with manager and they would not send a truck out here to pick up my trash and she said if we had any trash overflowing, it would be $15 per bag. You call to reschedule, they give you a “confirmation number” and then still don’t show up. Unprofessional customer service and this company has refused to come and get my trash for over a week. Trash has been sitting at the curb for over a week, account is paid up and constantly being told they are going to get it today and if not today, absolutely tomorrow. Like I said, its been over a week of this. I called to complain and was told by the girl that answered, that I should just cancel my service with them. Wait, what?!? Trying to cancel the service is a headache! Was told a sales representative would call back within 24 to 48 hours... Just think they want to extend service each day so you will be charged. Just want them to pick up the bends, so the new service can deliver. I asked for headquarters number to call the CEO. We have had the pleasure of having these services for 5 years. In that time, we have dealt with numerous instances of poor service. Unfortunately, this is the only option for trash/recycling services where we live, and only option for taking care of your own trash in our county is so far away that we would spend the same on gas to do it ourselves.Good luck to anyone trying to contact a real, live person! Your options are: online contact form that goes to corporate where they forward you the phone number to the local office. When trying to call the local office, your option is a general delivery mail box. In the 5 years that we have had their services I have gotten ONE email of a real, live person and ONE reliable phone number and name (and that was just in the last 2 months).Republics system is so far outdated it is comical. We pay our bills online, but our online account with Republic is never updated with our most current payment, so we never know what our true balance is. Literally, the paper bill is updated with payment information before our online account. The logic that the online account would generate the paper bill and therefore be updated at the same time is false. This became such an issue (because we can never seem to get an answer to calls to the office) that we have stopped paying quarterly, and just do the math ourselves and pay monthly.Recently, we have started to receive bills from another address at our house. When looking at the bill, the service address is clearly different from the mailing address. Republic has even charged the account at the service address a reconnect fee and a late fee. How does this make sense when the statements are not even going to the correct place??????

Terrible service. Its been three weeks and no trash can/ recycle bin. When I bought the trash and recycle cans, no one told me it would be a three week wait and that they were running behind. It was only after I called multiple times wondering where they were that we got that spiel. I was eventually called by someone (presumably from the operations side) about having my can dropped off Monday, but alas, to no avail. If they dont drop my cans off and pick up my trash monday, Im canceling service. Another option is for me to apply part time for republic services just so I can get my trash picked up. That way Id at least be getting paid for taking my own trash to the landfill.

Weve used Republic for 4 months and had multiple missed pickups. Ive been told 3 times that a manager would return my call, but they never do. I cancelled the service at the end of July and almost a month later, their cans have still not been taken away. The 3rd scheduled P/U of empty cans was 8-20-18. I was told this morning that they are under-staffed and someone will call me when they can pick them up. I would have rated them lower than 1 star if that was an option.

If I could put zero stars I would. I really hate this company. When we moved in to our house. We paid for service and had to wait almost a month for our trash cans. They never come get the trash or recycling when they are suppose to. And dont let there be a holiday. Online and Theyll call you and say normal schedule. But then wont come or vice versa. So after missing a week your trash can/bin is stuffed and extra full. They will half a55 dump the trash. And leave trash in the can. Then theyll drop the trash cans everywhere but the curb. Had trash service with them terrible communication sent me recycle bind instead of a trash bin when I called to get them to switch it they told me I had to bring it back. Now we have fees and they want to come pick up the trashcan so we still have them today. Also they choose to do their routes in the middle of the day whenever it is very high traffic and you can’t go around them so they make cars get backed up all the way out into the road while they do their trash service

Every other garbage company in every other state just comes and picks up your recycling and garbage and its seemless and its no problem. You just pay your bill and you have almost no contact with the garbage company. Its quite nice.Not Republic. We have had many problems with them over the years. Have to call them non infrequently. Where is my pickup? Why did the driver skip my house? One of the worst things about NC is the garbage service we receive. It boggles the mind, why simple things for every other garbage company in America are so hard for Republic?The latest issue is somehow the recycling driver has missed a big blue recycling can overflowing with recycling material sitting at the end of my driveway for the past two pickups despite getting everyone elses recycling in my subdivision ... thus necessitating multiple calls to Republic asking why their driver cant see a big huge blue can overflowing and just drives right past it ... for the past two pickups.It really should not be this hard to see a big blue recycling container (its the one thats not brown, if you are driver having difficulty grasping this concept) and pull the recycling vehicle next to it and push a button to empty it.It shouldnt necessitate multiple calls and having to drag your recycling can up an down your driveway 8 times, but with Republic it does!People have busy lives, they shouldnt be expected to have to have their garbage company on speed dial. Its really not that hard Republic .... just do what every other garbage company in the country that isnt Republic does and your service will greatly improve.

This happened for 5 days in a row and still no body show up to pick up the trash. I escalated this issue to their corporate office and still no improvement. Seems this company is in total chaos. Local guys don’t care and won’t listen to either the customers or their “corporate boss”. I have no idea how they managed to stay in business and even worst how they managed to be selected as the trash company for our city. Basic business and moral principle: do what you say and say what you do!

What a terrible experience I had with Republic Services. I moved into a house a month ago and started my service and was told the trash bins would be delivered within 7-10 days. I waited 14 days and gave them a call and told them what was going on. I waited and waited and still received nothing. I called again and probably 3-4 more times after that letting them know my frustrations and told them I needed to speak to a manager. I gave them my information and no manager or anyone had the decency to call me. It has now been 1 month, and I still HAVE NOT received my trash bins so I called this morning to talk to a manager, and the call center just told me someone will call. I gave up and was sick of hearing the same thing over and over again so I just cancelled my subscription. They told me the delivery dates were supposed to be May 8th (nothing came), May 16 (nothing came). Completely unsatisfied with this service and I really wish there was someone else in the area I could use. So if someone has any suggestions, please let me know. 0 stars in my book!! Look around before signing up with Republic Services!

Not sure service from a company could get any worse than Republic Waste. Only empty cans about half the time and when they do, they dont completely empty the cans. Now they say they are going up on price....pathetic...i got rid of our service years ago because a service manager threatened me and verbally harassed me when I wouldnt let his truck turn around in my driveway because of the bridge nearby being out. Most of my neighbors are getting ready to drop them too. Hope this company dies a slow painful death.

I pay my trash bill yearly, however 6 months into the year Republic Services increased the rates and sent me a bill. When i recieved the invoice i called to question the increase, thinking yearly rates were locked in price wise.I was told by a custmore service representative that they would take care of the difference. A month later i receive another invoive with a late fee. This time when i called i was told thst the credit hadnt went into my billing cycle yet and that it would cancel the late fee. When August comes around i get another invoice with 2 late fees attached and a disconnect notice.Immediatly i call them again this time speaking with a rep named Breanna. She said she saw the problem and could fix the issue, having my service turned back on for pick up the next day. Now its September i recieved another invoice with 3 late fees and another disconnet notice. AT THIS POINT I AM SOOOOO FRUSTRATED WITH REPUBLIC WASTE SERVICES!!I call again and demand to speak with a supervisor. James the manager gets on the phone and then tells me the issue is that they shouldve never taken care of the mid year price increase to begin with... That my rates arent locked in.Instead of offereing any kind of compensation or apology for allll of this agervation, he explains how he is going to correct the situation. WORST COMPANY, CUSTOMER SERVICE, ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, MANAGEMENT STAFF EVER!!!!

This is the worst trash company in the whole country; TERRIBLE!!I had a customer service rep talk to me in such a disrespectful way because I asked her to please send the truck back (who was actually standing on my next door neighbor house) because my trash can was not outside. I explained the reason my trash can was not out was because I had been out of town, she hung up on me.Then, I called back and they had the NERVE to tell me that I will have to pay an additional $15 if I wanted to have EXTRA trash the NEXT pick up day, which is next week. How is this extra when then did not fulfill the pick up I had paid for already?They are the worst!!!!!

I hate giving bad reviews, but I have had a broken trash bin that I reported over 2 months ago. They have rescheduled now 4 times. I live beside a major street so its unsafe to keep putting it by the road when it wont stay upright. Its also difficult to pull/ drag it back and forth every time the trash is picked up. Only positive is that customer service is friendly (thats the only reason I have one star).

They do not answer the phone. They do not return messages. I had to call corporate in AZ to speak to a human. Corporate was very helpful however had no explanation why no one answers the phone in Greensboro/Winston-Salem.

I own a trash company that does the same thing this is what happens when you bring Corporate America into your city they pushed a little guy out can you take what they give you and you thank your County Commissioners theres the ones that sent the rates, and the laws that have your garbage collected. If do you want your garbage picked up on time just put your recyclables in with your regular garbage every weak and you wont have to worry about it as a as a resident of Guilford County you are not required to do recycling this place all your garbage into one container. Theres nothing against the law about it. Recycling Collision is a money-losing adventure. When we used to run Guilford County if the customer did not want recycling then we did not have to do it the law is still the same

Absolutely atrocious company. Theyre never on time, they change the time for pick ups regularly, they will just leave your garbage on the street and not pick it up, and the customer service is terrible because it seems like their employee turnaround is so high that no one really knows whats going on. I hate this company. They also tried to charge me while I was deployed for three months, even though they knew ahead of time, that was a nightmare. Again, I hate this company. Im going to take my trash to the dump myself.

We switched from waste industries to this company, and they have a great service, we always get a txt message when they are late due to bad weather. Satisfied 👍And when other customers complain about their recycling being missed, they need to figure out the dates when the company picks it up. It is every 2 weeks for recycling.

Never had a problem until we moved. Now its been 4 weeks at the new house, 4 phone calls assuring me they would pick me up next week, and I just watched these lazy, unorganized, liars drive past my overflowing trash cans again!! On the last call we made they told us to go ahead and set it out by the road and that someone would make a special trip out the next day. I can only assume they hung up the phone and laughed because guess what..... Im calling them again and if my trash isnt picked up today I will be loading it in the back of my truck and dumping it in their parking lot. They have lost this customer and I urge everyone reading this to stay away from these idiots.

Every recycling pick up is missed and we have to call in to get it picked up. Then the customer service team doesnt follow through on their promises to get it rescheduled, or to get the problem corrected. Absolute pain to deal with, and very unprofessional.

What a load of garbage… literally!!!My wife and I have been using Republic Waste to collect my trash and recycling for years. Approximately 18 months ago, we were informed that Republic would be testing out a new program. They would supply us with a can for garbage and one for recycling. There was no charge for this service during a 3 month trial membership. If we decided to stick with the service, then we would be charged an additional $5/mo. However, if we decided to not use their cans, then we could opt out and go back to paying our original fee.Anyone would assume that would mean that I could continue using my original containers to put out my trash. However, Republic now wants to charge an additional fee for each can or bag that I place out at the curb. That means that if I dont use their cans, then I will be charged an additional fee each and every time they pick up any other container. I guess their interpretation of the word optional isnt the same as mine!I guess I shouldnt expect loyal customer service when Republic has swallowed up all other competition. Theyve also successfully lobbied the Guilford County Commissioners to make trash barrel burning illegal. This is a wonderful example of crony capitalism in action. If I find a horses head in my bed, Ill not be surprised.

We contracted with Republic Waste Services to provide a dumpster rental. They did not deliver the dumpster so we called customer service and they agreed to refund the charge but were unable to find the transaction in their system so we had to resort to filing a dispute with the credit card company.

Horrible. I moved to my house and they said they would deliver recycling and trash bins the day before I moved in which would have been excellent timing! They delivered the recycling bin as promised but it took over ONE MONTH and 7 or 8 calls for them to get my garbage bin delivered. It has now been 2 months since I have moved in and they have not picked up my recycling up on time since I have moved in (and they only picked in up once in total). I am paying for recycling to come once every 2 weeks so they should have come 3 or 4 times. Regarding the missed recycling pickups alone, I have easily totaled over 15 phone calls to republic services and each time they say, it will be picked up tomorrow or it will be picked up in 2 days. Despite me paying my bill and over 15 phone calls, they have only picked up my recycling once in 2 months. So for the first month of me living in my new home I did not have garbage or recycling service even though I was paying for it. One customer service person told me I didnt have my recycling bin out at the time of collection even though it has been full and at the end of my driveway for a month waiting for someone to pick it up.

This is the worst and over price garbage collection service that is available in this area. They are over priced, Do not keep anything on a schedule. . They are messy. Constant problems does not do any good to call and complain about. If you can find a different garbage collection I will advise you in doing so.

We are billed for Wednesday service in the 27406 area. For the past eight weeks our trash has been pick up on Thursday or Friday. When calling the office to inquire if the pick up date will be changed, they act oblivious to the situation. Its past time for a change in service provider. This needs to be placed on the agenda for each sub division at their quarterly homeowners meeting. There is power in numbers. Thank you!

They dont pickup trash on the day theyre scheduled, you call and call all they have is excuses. last Friday they picked up all the trash on surrounding streets but didnt even come down my street. NOT EVEN ONE STAR - Just like all the other comments. I have been calling every day to get my trash / recycling picked up that was left during the winter storm. The trash truck came today and the driver had to move the trash that they were supposed to pick up (that I deliberately placed in front of the blue can), so he could pick up the blue can with his truck. He left everything else there! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!This company knows that home owners dont have any other choice for trash collection, so they get away with stuff like this.

These people are so bad its a shame to have to use them. Greensboro should be better than this. I bought a house and told them to continue service with my account. Three weeks later they take the cans, then say it will be a week to bring them back. A week later there is a backup with no new date. No communication and they wanted to charge me to redeliver as well as pay while there was no service.They say to leave bags at the end of the street. You will never get to talk to dispatch or a manager or anyone beyond the receptionist.

I called this morning because my garbage can was still mostly full after the truck dumped it. This has happened more than once with the recycle but the garbage is usually not a problem. When they come back for the recycle a bump or two of the arm while dumping the can will empty it completely. I spoke to Dave, who informed me he has been doing his job there for 14 years. He insinuated that these two issues (garbage & recycle) could not be compared so this was not something I have had happen before. He said technically this was not a missed pickup. I reminded him that technically I paid them to pick up my garbage & it was still in the can at my house. .He proceeded to interrupt & contradict me, but let me know that they would provide a courtesy pickup to finish emptying the can. Rude, unhelpful & not good at their job. I wish there was another service that would pick up garbage/recycle in my area.

Snow storm of January 2018, it happen to snow a lot on my trash recycling day, so I expected they would not get my trash that day. They called that afternoon stating the conditions were too bad and they would resume when conditions allowed. I understood. I received a call on Thursday saying that if they did not get my trash they would pick up on normal schedule day. I immediately called them back to say that I would have 10 bags of trash next week and could I put the excess bags beside my can. They said yes and assured me it would be picked up. Wednesday came, my normal trash day and they picked up my can but nothing beside it. They also did not get my recycling. I called Thursday and explained my situation and they promised someone out by the end of day on Thursday. Came home at 5:30 and my cans were full. Called 1st thing Friday morning. They said you are on schedule for today to have both cans picked up. Came home at 5:30 guess what? BOTH CANS ARE FULL😡😡😡😡😡😡

Tried many times to get a second trash can for home but ran into excuse after excuse. Trash cans on backorder. Seriously? Arent they a TRASH COMPANY? Then I couldnt get a second recycling can even if I paid for the second trash service. Then when the cans floated away in flooding, we would have to order new ones, when we couldnt get ones before? I cancelled their service! I will figure out an alternative.
