Took a very loose fit shift dress to them to take in at the waist, which they returned on time in two weeks. I was a little worried about how fine the material was and that it wouldn’t be tighter than I’d like but it’s perfect! Now shows my form much better and the alterations were exactly what I was hoping for, would recommend!

I cannot recommend Sara’s Alterations enough. Eddie was kind enough to provide the alterations for my wedding dress (which was a combination of my mother’s and stepmother’s dresses) at a very fair price. He was kind, timely, and provided me with a beautiful dress that I felt beautiful in for my wedding. During the timeframe, he also did alterations for a bridesmaid dress for me. This dress also ended up fitting me so elegantly and was something that I was very proud to wear. I plan to use Sara’s for all of my future alterations.

I needed alterations done for a friends wedding they did a fenominal job on reconstructing the jacket it was too big at first and the pants aswell they tailored it to fit my body perfectly the dad and his son did an amazing job! I would definitely go back again!

This will definitely be my go to when I need alterations done for any of my clothing. I had about four pairs of pants tapered and they were just what I wanted. One was not how I wanted but they were able to fix them at no extra charge. I have other garments that I need tailored and I know exactly where I will go to have them done. I would definitely try them out if you needed any work done.

They put pockets in a jean jacket of mine about a week ago...The jacket looked like it was purchased with the pockets...I told most of my friends and showed them as well, they were amazed. I have had things tailored with them in the past, always amazing work...Ed’s amazing...if there is a better tailoring service in Greensboro or surrounding area...I want to know who it is, because as far as I’m concerned, they are the best and for the price, they can’t be beat. I’m going to post some pictures on the next round...KUDOS!!!

This place is a hidden gem! I needed a bridesmaid dress altered (hemmed and taken in slightly), and I went to 3 other places who quoted me almost double what this place did it for! And they had it done in just over a week, where as everywhere else was barely going to have it back in 4 weeks! Plus, the people here are so nice! Ill never go anywhere else for alterations again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I have had them repair some clothes and some athletic clothing, perfect every time and a pleasure to deal with.

My boyfriend needed several workout shirts made sleeveless. Not only were these shirts cut perfectly but they were double stitched front and back. This made the shirts look like they had been purchased that way. Great people, impeccable work! We have been twice and received the same great service!

The most important dress of my life!! They done careless work! Was told 4 weeks for alterations was done in less than 2! Looked like a child sewed my dress everything was wrong! My second dress had the ruffles sewn into the dress! Then made me feel stupid for pointing out poor work!! On top of that they took my detachable train and balled it up into a ball and was thrown in the bottom of my braidal bag!!LOOKED LIKE THEY MOPPED THE FLOOR WITH MY TRAIN!! 0000 If i could go zero and the bad thing was they were recommended by bridal store!! WoW is all i can say!! Cried when i put both of my dresses on after alterations cause they didnt even look like they did when i brought them in!!! After 4 tries they finally got it done but will NEVER take or recommend them to anyone!!😭👰

I bought my wedding dress through The Wedding Galleria, my dress was sent to Saras alterations (as i was told not to go anywhere else) for my altering and bustling a year ago at this time march 2016. At that time I picked it up and wasnt able to have altered, but they pinned it so when I came back they could just hem & bustle the dress.Well yesterday a yr later, 3/11/2016, I returned to have them hem the skirt and under-bustle my train. In this i had an appt at 3pm but arrived at 5pm closing at 6pm due to a traffic accient, coming 3-3.5 hrs away. I had asked before hand if they could have my dress finished the next day after arriving due to coming so far and only being able to stay one night. And after putting my dress back on and them making sure I was all pinned where it needed to be and the unbustle bustle ready for the under bustling I not only recieved a fair/under stated price quote but I had to remind them I had to leave to head home by 11 am. They accepted my demand.After leaving I felt horrible I asked such a very small time frame to work on my dress being late on top of it. But I cant say enough words for this place.That next morning we arrived a little after 10:30 am and When I walked in the door to pick up my dress it there on a manequin, I did all i could to hold back the tears. It was AMAZING and when I say this I dont mean just amazing it was a Cinderella moment. The job they did and working at 7 am -10:30 am to make my dream dress perfect was shocking. They are worth every penny, and all the aggravation of sitting in traffic and the heat with our teens was worth every ounce.Saras alterations is the place to go and i will definetly be going back for any alterations. Also I will recommend to everyone far and wide. Id recommened even shipping your items to them and return shipping for an item.
