I worked in new car dealerships as a professional automobile technician from 1989-2008. I was a shop foreman by the time I was 30 years old at Leith Honda in Raleigh. Then I opened my own shop in late 2008. I’ve been exposed to all sorts of other technicians and something as a manager or shop owner I would always try to instill in them was how important taking pride in your work was. What you are sending out of the shop door is a reflection of your character and molds your reputation. Christian at Guzman Customs in Greensboro hit it out of the park when he recovered the gray sagging headliner of my son’s Civic Si. My son wanted a color change and Christian went with the idea happily. He made a color change of the headliner to black and dyed the grab handles and A, B, C panels black to match. I’ve literally owned hundreds of cars for personal use plus buying and selling cars on the side. I have a bit more experience with needing interior services and paint & body than a typical car owner. I’m a very meticulous customer and I’m willing to pay for top notch work. I also like to think I provide the best possible service to my clients. My son drove 2 hours each way to have Christian do this job. It’s not a small amount of work. I’ve replaced all of those same parts many times. When I first started working in dealerships in Central Florida the heat would destroy Prelude, CRX and Isuzu Troopers while they were still under warranty. Christian’s recover and dye color match with the Honda factory black seats came out very nicely. My son is a Senior in High School and paid for all of the work himself. He’s the one who did the research on where he was going to have this project performed. The pricing was very very reasonable. But, what really stands out is Christian’s pride in his work. Like I’ve described, I have very high standards and expectations. I know where little errors can be made. I know where little moldings and trim pieces can get scratched or broken if the technician isn’t careful with someone else’s vehicle. I always told my techs to treat the vehicle like it belonged to your best friend’s mom. I just had similar work performed on my personal BMW 550i. I wish my local interior man would have been more professional and had taken more pride in his work. But, hindsight is 20/20. My future interior needs, and I’m sure I’ll need them. I’ll be driving to Greensboro, North Carolina to Guzman Customs and asking for Christian.

Jose did an awesome job tinting the taillights on my Infiniti! He was super friendly and did the job in a timely manner... didn’t charge me a ridiculous price either that I got from a couple other places around. I would absolutely take my car back to GC if needed in the future. The woman who answers the phone is very warm and friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend - thanks again!

Ive know the owner from before he started his own business. Hard worker and dedicated. I recently took a car to get tinted and it was done on time..Ive also sent people his way and he has done excellent work. From body work to lifting trucks. You cant go wrong !!

I got my headliner replaced in my vehicle a little over a year ago and it has already begun to fall back down. On top of this, Guzmans broke all of the light fixtures in my headliner, garred up the plastic interior panels of my car and also broke my sun roof to where it no longer opens properly. My vehicle was also not finished when they told me to come pick it up and they did not let me know it wasnt ready until I arrived at the original time I was told to get it. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I would. not recommend it to anyone.

Brought my car in at the end August to have my seat covers replaced. Then I was out of the country for most of September. A few weeks later after I came back I noticed cuts on the leather near the door handle and multiple scratches near the glove compartment. Guzman was the last place I dropped off my car for repair. I simply wasnt expecting those hidden areas to be damaged from a simple seat cover replacement. Otherwise I wouldve inspected it closely on the spot before I paid for the service. After debating whether or not I should asked them to repair it, since they were the ones who caused it, I decided against it. Would there be more cuts, scratches, or even missing parts? Would I be making the same mistake in chosing Guzman again? What I should do now is to find a more reputable auto shop for repair.Also I found out at the same time one of my tire valve stem caps was lost. I am not pointing fingers, as anybody couldve stolen it at any time, but all of the trust is lost. My goal is not to ruin a business reputation but to warn others of what could possibly happen. In my case, it was a luxury vehicle. What a heartbreak.

Jose takes your car says yes he can get you done gives you a time frame and delays you for weeks. he actually put my car on the side to work on other cars. this is a common issue with this place. if they say 1 week expect 1 month. the job is average, and nothing special. also when i was there another customer had the same issue. and another customer told me he brought his car back there over 4 times. not happy at all. and would not recommend this place

I had a front splitter and rear diffuser installed by José on my SRT-8 Charger and Im very excited on how it came out. Already got compliments for it. José and his wife are very kind people and they offered reasonable prices when other shops gave ridiculously high prices. If I ever need something else done, I will take 2 hour drive to get it done here again.

Best place to take your car for small repairs to huge collision repairs or even small work like window tint. All my family goes here, best prices in the triad & trustworthy folks.

If you need ANYTHING done to your car & done RIGHT. Come here 🙂 Would definitely call ahead as well!

August/2018So I had an appointment on a Saturday at 3 pm and I was told that Saturday’s are only for appointments so I arrived at 2:40 and tried to go in the front door but it was locked and lights were out, I knocked on the garage door and no answer. I called the business 4 times and no answer and I was prompted to leave a message but the Mailbox was full I waited for more than 50min giving them the benefit of the doubt but I was not attended when I had an appointment. They are great people but service wise from what I have now experienced they need better communication between their customers who have appointments. I drove the total of 40 miles just to waste gas.Update 2019 and 2020Because of their job I have not been able to pass inspection either year and had to remove my tint. They admitting on not knowing what they did and couldn’t fix my tint. I live out of state now and no help was given. They wanted to give me an apt like I’m about to drive 7 hours for tint.

Jose and his Team were able to deliver an incredible challenging set of tasks with our Jeep Wrangler. Guzman customs attention to detail is out of this world, he is creative and able to discuss every request at anytime.I would not trust anyone else definetly the place to be at, cant wait for our next project. #chevy54
