Ive used jacks for about a year. I had rays trash prior. For the last two bill cycles, I havent received a bill. The first time my service was suspended, I didnt know. I called, paid my bill and gave them a phone number they could call as a courtesy call if it happened again. This last cycle, it happened again. I called, paid the bill and explained that Im not getting the bills. They proceeded to tell me it is a problem with my mail. But it doesnt excuse them from not calling the number provided that they said they would call if it happened again. They take no responsibility for their lack of communication with me. And Im the one who suffers when it happens, with trash backing up for a week. If it happens again, Im going back to rays. Ive never had this problem with any of my trash pickup services.UPDATE: I received a bill yesterday 7/17. Dated 6/24 and post marked 7/14. I dont think the issue is my post office, but theirs.

Rented 7 dumpster for two week periods at a time while doing renovations, every rental it was expressed that I would like to keep the dumpster until filled, so we rented for two weeks at a time. On two separate occasions the company picked up a half filled dumpster a week early. The first time they did bring it back the next day, however this time they decided to to pick it up early by a week again and when I called in from out of town I was informed that they would not be returning the dumpster and I would be charged full price if I wanted it back. Horrible customer service and the owner was rude on the phone, apparently doing business for a period of 4 months with them accounts for nothing and all they care about is taking your money. Also drove through my yard on multiple occasions and scratched up my drive way when dropping the dumpsters off. Dont waste your money here there are better options...

A little more than 2 years ago I was using Wallace Brothers for my trash removal. I decided to leave them when they refused to pick up trash for several customers along the route that my house was on. My decision wasnt based on the fact that they refused to pick up the trash because they had a good excuse due to weather. The reason I left them was because of their attitude when I tried to talk to them about the situation. After talking with several people who gave no help but did give their attitudes I finally talked to a manager who ended up hanging up on me. I switched to this company, Jacks Trash Service and I am so glad I did. I have had nothing but great customer service for the past 2 years and anytime Ive had to call them they have always been very kind and helpful. I currently pay less for 2 totes than I did when I had only one tote from Wallace Brothers. Thank you for your great service and your kind, helpful voice everytime I call you!

They didn’t pick up on time. I called them was promised they would be there in two days. Didn’t show. I continued to call after this for almost two weeks AND DAILY until I had to become irate and hateful !My neighbors were even beginning to ask what the problem was. Was told and promised over and over they would come get didn’t. Had to finally talk to the owner reminding him that I pay ahead of time but certainly not getting the service! Look elsewhere for dependable service!!!

We switched to Jacks Trash service over a year ago and we have been very pleased with the service! They are professional, polite, and clean! We love that they are a family business that is locally owned!

They consistently drove way too fast into my driveway to empty my metal dumpster. Never put the lids back down after dumping them (This is a small simple task that would save me from having to walk out there and do it each time). The entire time I used them, they showed very little pride in their work and was ALWAYS in a HUGE HURRY. They also Never put the dumpster back in the correct place. I had complained about the dumpster placement several times and it continued to be placed further into my yard. VERY POOR customer service, they protect their lazy, dangerous employees instead of fixing problems. AVOID them.

Horrible. Failed to pick up trash on multiple occasions. Drivers lie about trash not being out. We fired them. They don’t provide the service you pay for and won’t refund your money. Reporting them to Indiana Attorney General. They offered to pick up the trash they should have picked up 4 days ago “as a courtesy” if I would take the review down. How about just doing what I paid you to do???

We use this company for our personal use and for business also. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Our trash is picked up at the same time each week and they are very informative of any schedule change. Give them a call!

The bosses treat people like dirt and they are all about tricking people into paying for things that they should have to pay for!! Horrible people!

These guys no show me once or twice a month. Supposed to pick up on Monday. Never know what time or even if they show up. Lousy service.

Worst people to deal with. I used them for a short period of time and had issues the hole time and have had them hang up on me. I dealt with a guy in the office once who was very nice but the lady who is one of the owners the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. It’s just sad people get that way

I had contracted with Jacks Trash service last summer. My fiancee and i were doing alot of clean up of my property so we had ordered a large dumpster from Jacks Trash Service. During clean up, a small ember caught the materials in the dumpster on fire. My fiancee and I were on sight and were able to put it out quickly. In the mean time, a relative of Jack called him and told him we were deliberately burning trash in the dumpster and to call the fire department and the sherriff to prosecute me to the fullest.. Jack called the sherriffs office to come to the property and have me prosecuted. (No Joke) The sherriff was disgruntled and irritated with Jack because his story was blown out of proportion.( DO NOT CALL THE FIRE DEPT OR SHERRIFF DEPT with non-emergencys! It really ticks them off!) So after the officer repremanded Jack, i had agreed to purchase the dumpster for full price of what he paid for it which was $900.00. I have made consistant payments averaging $100.00 per month to date. I called the Jacks Trash Service February 12th to make a final $300.00 pay off of the dumpster. I recieved no call back. My dogs alerted me of activity outside my house, and there is Jack taking the very dumpster he insisted i pay for. I jumped in my car to catch him driving off my property with the dumpster. I asked him why he is taking a purchased dumpster. He replied that the money i sent him was for damages only. I immediately contacted the sherriff department and showed proof of payments along with other recorded documentation of the event. I was advised to go to small claims to request my money back. Seems to me Jack wants his cake and eat it too. He will be served by the sherriff this morning. Our court date is set for March 22, 2018. Stay tuned for more drama. What would Judge Judy do? He gets 1 star this morning..... Being served by the Putnam County Sherriff Department.
