Great Hometown Hardware store with everything you would hope to find at The Big Box store and More. They had throttle cables for lawn mowers and equipment for rental as well. The employees go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for. Consider them before the big box Home Improvement stores.

We didn’t, consciously, have a list when my husband said, “do you want to stop in Martin Hardware”?I always want to stop in Martin Hardware.We came upon their WEBER section. We have a great Weber Genesis that we love. The igniter had stopped working. My husband went up to a clerk and inquired if she knew anything about Webers. She asked if we knew which model it was and did we have the model number. Of course NOT! This didn’t deter her. She listened as my husband knew certain things to be true to our grill. By elimination, she concluded we have the same gas grill she does. She knew the part we needed, right away and, BONUS, it was in stock.I believe her name was Judy. I apologize if I’m incorrect. She embodies the best qualities a salesperson could. She was as eager to find a solution to our problem as we were.So I’m looking around when I think about the flapper on our Kohler toilet. We had purchased a universal one from another “M” store. Works on most toilets but not ours. Martin Hardware had Kohler flappers to fit our style toilet.And I found a Bedbug repellent that kills spiders too! I have had a surplus of spiders this year.Needless to say our shopping experience was a good one! Thank you!

Hardware stores may be the last bastion of really great customer service, and Martin Hardware is sure good at it. I needed a handful of nuts and bolts, less than $5 worth, and an employee spent 10 minutes helping me find just the right thing.Im always surprised by how much stuff they carry. Need house numbers, glassware, patio furniture, craft supplies, cleaning products or pool noodles? Martin Hardware is your place!

This is reminiscent of an old time hardware store. Things I cant find anywhere else (electrical solder for example) I can find here. The staff is SUPER helpful and they provide services like pipe threading and tool rental, too. The best hardware store in town, hands down.

The female clerk with dark hair was extremely rude!!!!! And sarcastic and nasty!!!! She should not be working there! Absolutely terrible to customers! I was there 5-8-21, late afternoon. I hope her supervisor figures out who this is and fires her!

Was on hold for quite a while asking for padding for legs of a wooden chair. I never got transferred but kept getting the same two employees asking where I needed to be transferred to. One lady who who said she worked in houseware very rudely gave me attitude. I don’t call that customer service. Super uncalled for and I hope that’s not how they treat all their customers.

Not a single employee was wearing a mask. And while individually a customer can choose wether to wear a mask, a business should have their employees wearing a mask. However, not a single employee said hi! Or welcome to Martins! Or can we help you find anything today? While I did find what I was looking for, and an employee kept walking by and seeing what I was doing, they didnt ask if I was finding everything ok at all. Overall, not a good experience. First and last time visiting.

Their key department is one of the main reasons I began going to Martin Hardware over the larger box stores.They have the best selection of manual cut keys from lock boxes to auto high security keys. They also have a staff like no other

In my profession, I have helped customers with many things, like what this store has to sell. That alone makes it a great store!Due to the shortages during this time, the place that I work at doesnt seem to have much coming back into stock, so I direct them over to Martin hardware.

Went to return a tool belt I bought here 1 day later with the receipt. Had to wait for a manager. The manager came eventually, then denied my return because the original tag was not still on it. Im taking my business elsewhere. Do not recommend

This is a small hardware store, but they seem to have everything I need. They have saved me thousands of dollars because they had a piece of hardware for a good price that I wouldnt be able to get anywhere else or I would have had to hire a professional to install or fix.I have them sharpen my lawn mower blades and chainsaws. They do a great job.Sometimes, I rent their equipment for use around the house. I think their rental rates are good and the equipment they have is in a good shape.

The staff was very nice and friendly. They were extremely helpful. Offered suggestions. The person helping me seemed to be very knowledgeable and was willing to share that knowledge. Great store I will definitely return the next time its warranted

Sure you have the big box stores, but can you purchase 2 M2 stainless steel cap screws with the nuts and the washers? Here you can. We cant let an old fashioned hardware store like this to go out if business! Thanks for being there for us!

Paint department is amazing! I am an extremely satisfied customer! I was told to try their pant department to have a stain matched. No one seems to be able to match stain at any of the big hardware stores. The lady in the paint department is amazing! She was able to look at the stain and determine the color and sheen. She is also able to customize the mix for a perfect match! Her experience with this has saved me so much time and headache! Instead of refinishing my entire kitchen I can just stain and add the new cabinets!

Yes, they have it 😁👍. If you need it, theyll have it. Great Mom and Pop shop. People behind the register have always seemed a bit grumpy and not very personable but its fun to go back and see if they still are grumpy. Again, if you need something... Go here!!!

Went in for some specific size and color screws for a few different projects. The gentleman was extremely helpful and offered suggestions I hadnt thought of. Also got some Benjamin Moore paint samples and the woman who helped me was also very friendly. Ive rented their wall paper steamer twice before, and both times the ladies were nice, knowledgeable, and gave me great tips!

You might not expect an old timey, family run hardware store in a mini-mall type location but youd be wrong! I remember their original location and that is the only thing that changed. Great staff, amazing and strange array of merchandise (they have booyah paddles), and will do everything a big box store wont.

Went there, to get parts for old kitchen faucet for the cabin. the guy in the plumbing was really helpful, and knew his stuff. Im set up, even with back up parts! Wish the cashier, wasnt so grumpy though. Otherwise would be a 5 star experience.

If your shopping habits strickly revolve around where is the cheapest place that I can insert what youre looking for, then Martins may not be for you.Yes, youre going to pay a little more here than you would at a Home Depot or Menards, but what youre really getting is helpful, knowledgeable employees that actually know what their talking about. Real world, actual hands on experience.And its also the little things that make a huge impression. Like if youre looking for something, they will walk you not only to the isle, but show you where it is in that isle. Or taking the time to listen, and help you pick out what you need to do the job right, the first time.Actual, real customer service. And to me, thats worth way more than the extra $1.50 that I probably paid over going to the bigger stores.Quality, not quantity. Thats what Martin Hardware is.

This is a pretty good local hardware store. They have just about any screw, bolt, nut, washer, or other miscellaneous hardware you could ever need. Lots of tools, home improvement supplies, etc. Also have equipment like air compressors and large power tools for rent.

This is the most unhelpful hardware store I have ever been to. The staff members are lazy and will not lift a finger to help you get what you need. Not to mention they are terrible at cutting keys. Avoid this place.
