Fun conversation and a sharp haircut. I got many compliments after I returned home. Charles (or Charlie) was excellent. I just happened to stop here during a road trip. Scheduled an appointment on the phone when I was a couple of hours away and that was smooth. A great experience overall.

I have gone to Charles for many years. Best haircut in town and like the reviews mention the atmosphere is fun and represents the barbershop atmosphere I love. Great conversations and laughs every time I go. Also I get the same cut every time. I love a barber who gives me a consistent, quality cut every time. Dont let the exterior fool you. This is a high quality barbershop at a price justified by the experience and cut.

My experience at Uppercuts was wonderful! Upon entering we were pleasently greeted by Melissa who took my son back to her chair to discuss what we wanted for his haircut! She included my 11 year old son in the decision making process the whole time! She explained what our best option would be based on where his colic was and she took her time making sure that it was cut precisely. I couldnt be happier as to how it turned out! Melissa and Charles are very friendly, easy to book and professional. My son gets his hair cut by Melissa and she is so good with him. I highly recommend this barbershop for all ages.

The first time I went in I wasn’t forced to wear a mask until the female staff member showed up. The second time I went in I was forced to wear one and I politely informed the barber I wouldn’t be coming back because I didn’t want my hair trapped in my mask and breathing my hair in. The barber took it personal and over reacted, but what bothered me is he talked rudely about the incident behind my back to another customer who knew me and had told me about it. Third rate cuts and high school gossip have me taking my business elsewhere, especially to a place that doesn’t make me breath my hair in (they’re out there).

I usually get my cuts from Melissa, I too have followed her all around town, but I’ve gotten a cut from Chuck too and they both do great work. You can get good cuts from a lot of places but it really is the people that set this place apart. There’s always a lot of laughter and atmosphere that can’t be replicated elsewhere because Melissa and Chuck are good friends and everyone feels a part of it when you’re in the shop. Really proud of Melissa and Chuck for taking this step in their career!
