Joshua Bird was my rep. I was reluctant in trying this again. The first company tried and was unsuccessful. But Joshua had stated that there is damage to my roof from a hail storm and that he was very confident in getting it approved. He showed me pictures of the damage from my roof and that the insurance needed to do what is written in my policy. He seemed very knowledgeable in this aspect. So I gave him a shot. He showed up on time for the adjustment and got the insurance to pay for a new roof.I truly believe with his expertise, is what got the insurance to pay for my roof. So if you need a new roof because of a storm going through. Joshua Bird is your man. I highly recommend him to get the job done. The build was done in one day and the crew did an amazing job cleaning up. I told Joshua, I didnt want my dog stepping on nails. Because of the cleanup no special trips for my dog. Even with a no soliciting sign on our door they will still come knock on the door and ring the doorbell then walk away so quickly you cant talk to them. This happened on Aug 31 2021.I dont know anything about the quality of their work but if they cant appreciate peoples privacy then how am I supposed to trust their work ethics. He was very low pressure, informative and was a straight shooter from the very beginning. Chose Sorensen for personal reasons, but had also heard great things about them. They did a fantastic job with my roof replacement after it was damaged by wind and hail. Misty was on top of dealing with the insurance claim and John made sure the actual work itself was done smoothly. They were done in two days and did a fantastic job. It was the first time Id dealt with a homeowners claim and it was easier than I ever expected.

2018 was a crazy year for hail in northern Colorado. This company did an amazing job even with the high demand. Extra people were brought in to make sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. We had the worse customer service ever. No return phone calls from Sarge on down. The girls at the front desk were rude. They give you a date for installation by email and no phone call why the delay.When the roof was completed the workers left without saying a word and left their trailer. We had to call to have someone come get it because it was parked in the middle of my driveway. Left over supplies, someone came and got the shingles but the rest we had to take back to them on our own. But when the work was complete they expected payment within 10 days of receipt. The work was OK but the dealings with the office was sorry. Also, charged hidden fees of building permit. Read your fine print for extra costs on your final bill.

I was in the closing process on my home last year when that horrific hail storm hit. I was stuck and didnt know what to do to get my roof repaired so I could sell my home. I called several companies, but seemed like NO was the easy answer based on my timeline. My realtor recommended that I contact Sorensen and without even hesitating they scheduled me for a roof replacement. The workers were friendly, efficient, and ensured that they cleaned up the job site everyday before leaving. The management team in the front office kept in touch throughout the process to answer my questions and make sure my needs were met. This has been the best repair Ive ever had done. Misty worked with my wife in every aspect of the repair and all the paper work needed to get all of this done including working with the insurance company and the mortgage holder. Joe did a fantastic job getting the estimate done and checking out all the other damage this hail storm did. The crew came out and handled taking the entire roof down to the wood and had everything replaced, including clean up, all done in one day even though there was a problem with the materials that were supposed to be there the day before but showed up that day . The roof looks fantastic and I will recommend no one else except Sorensens and I will definitely be contacting them about all my other work I need done on the house and property.

I hired Sorensen to replace the roof on my house after the hail storm in June 2018. They over promised, under delivered and over charged me compared to my neighbors who had similar roof work done. They have no integrity. They never completed the siding, window frame and fascia work they agreed to do. I am having to hire another contractor to complete the project after 7 months of complaining. I do not recommend this company and will never do business with them ever again. I have also flagged them to my insurance company and BBB.

Three years ago we had hail damage. Brian Sorensen came in, worked with our insurance adjuster and made sure we received the insurance money needed to get the roof replaced. They were quick and efficient in fixing our roof.I did notice the other day during a rainstorm we had a drywall wet spot. I contacted Sorensen Roofing to check this issue. Brian showed up at my door that very day (Sat) and on Monday a worker came and made a repair. Need a particular storm to test the repair, but five stars for their response time.

We had our roof replaced by Sorenson last Fall after receiving hail damage in July 2016. We have nothing but good things to say about this company and the entire process for us was seamless. They worked with our insurance company, were always here when they said they would be and finished the job in a timely manner! They even went over and above and coordinated scheduling with our solar panel company when they were nearly impossible to get hold of! All around excellent communication and customer service.. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

I received a card thanking me for allowing them to earn my trust and business. However after working with them to have my roof replaced after hail damage I do not feel that they achieved either of these. We picked this company based on reviews here as well as other websites, in addition to personal recommendations, and it being a big name in our town. However our experience was much less then expected. Our first call to them we had to leave a message which was never returned. Instead of taking this as the first sign we chose to give the benefit of the doubt and called again a week later. We spoke with someone who advised that we would get a call from the contractor/tech (can’t remember the actual title given) to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Another week goes by with no call. We again called the office to advise we never heard from anyone and eventually got a call from Aaron. Aaron makes the appointment to meet with us and reassures us that all of our needs will be handled, including not replacing our satellite dish after the job, and our work being schedule for the last week of July (about 4 weeks after our meeting). He advises us we will hear from someone that week or a few days before to give an actual date. That week comes and goes and we do not hear from anyone. So we call again. At this point they now have a very large deposit from me. We are then advised that Aaron is no longer with the company and our work order/date request was misplaced. We are then advised that we will hear from someone by the end of the business day. When nothing is heard we call again and are questioned if we received the email, our work is scheduled for tomorrow! After reading the requirements before work starts we have to call back and advise the work will need to be rescheduled for the following week so we can take down pictures, make arrangements for pets, etc. In the meantime during that wait between the estimate and work day we are notified by our insurance company that the quote submitted is triple what the insurance quote is and includes things such as reconfigurations of satellite dish which we specially requested to not have replaced, painting our house which was already contracted elsewhere, and gutter replacement which we did not agree on. Work day comes and is completed without much incident. Our insurance was eventually able to come to agreement, but advised us they had to make multiple attempts and even put things in writing that they normally don’t do, due to the lack of communication with Sorensen. About 10 weeks after the job we have yet to receive a final bill or get the final check from insurance, so we call. We are put in touch with their customer service liaison who sends us a text update rather then calling, advising they are still working with insurance but good news our roof passed inspection! When I request a copy of the certificate I am then informed it looks like they inspected my neighbors house in error, and will still need to get my inspection done. At this time I also advise of a couple shingles that do not looked nailed down and appear to be coming up from the street view. It takes 2 attempts for them to correct this error. Another 3-4 weeks later I get another text saying the work has been finalized and to expect my check. At which time I am emailed my final bill. Within the week of my insurance check coming I am already receiving calls from Sorensen reminding me my bill is due. Interesting how quick the follow up is when it comes to getting paid?All in all, they definitely did not earn my trust nor my future business. I’m am very happy to be done with what seemed like an exhausting process.

After the initial meeting and measurements of our roof I was told by the owner we would have an estimate emailed in 3 days, we waited 6 then called and left a message with the owner. 2 days later we received a call from the owner saying we would have an estimate the next morning. That was 7 days ago and still no estimate. I would not recommend wasting your time with a liar.

I would give them no stars if I could. They installed the incorrect size skylight and didnt think that there was a problem. I had to call and informed them it was not right. They just want to hide the edges so I would not see it miss alignement with the drywall. There is enuogh space to put my fingers up and over my drywall. They told me that this is the only size skylight from the manufacturer which was the same manufacturer as my previous one. I had a skylight professional come look and tell me it was indeed the incorrect skylight size they installed and told me the correct one. I had to tell them. There is also scuffing marks all over my roof when I had someone come inspect my roof. That is not what a brand new roof is supposed to look like. I invesested in my roof to had a poor job doneon it. Now I have to wait for them to replace my skylight and hope they dont dent it up like the last one was. I dont feel like they cared if the job is done correctly as all my complaints to them seem to be just brush off.

Sorensen Roofing & Exteriors, G.C.Buyer Beware! We had Sorensen replace our roof in early 2018 and they were less than honest, professional, responsible or caring. From the owner Brian Sorensen on down, the experience was horrific. If HomeAdvisor hadn’t gotten involved we would probably not have resolved this but we wanted to get on with our lives. This experience took a lot out of us to say the least. --The roof replacement was not because of hail damage. We were replacing a concrete tile roof that was leaking and we paid for the replacement roof ourselves with no help from our insurance. - 1. Sorensen salesperson Curtis, told us we were getting a roof that was almost as good as their top of the line shingle - Winsor by Malarky - we didnt. We got the Legacy not the Legacy XL. 2. My husband and I decided to take a flashlight and look up in our attic. Shocked and speechless, we found that they had cut a hole in a rafter while making a hole for the turtle vent on the lower roof north side. 3. The roofing installers also cut a section of our lower roof ridge thinking that they were putting in a section of ridge vent – it was the 2nd story not the first story (it is now a patched metal ridge of roof line – They tried to hide it by putting just a layer of shingles over it without anything underneath). 4. We also saw that the newly installed (two) turtle vents at the first level roof, one at each end of the house, slid down so that the actual venting was about an inch or - and not code acceptable. – 5. Same decking material (plywood) was to be used (per our conversation with Curtis) to cover the old, original turtle vent holes on our 2nd story roof but they used cheap metal squares that barely covered the holes. 6. The metal flashing and drip edge they installed was not the color that we had chosen. Due to installing the wrong color, they replaced the rake drip edge at the sides of the house but left the front and back upper and lower stories the wrong color. 7. Our yard was not cleaned properly – We were still finding nails and debris weeks later in and around the lawn and back patio. 8. The supervisor/quality control person, Dave F., never showed up until they were “almost done” with our job. 9. We were charged a $590.80 “High Roof” fee – 2 stories or greater - that the other roofing companies we received bids from didn’t charge. We had already decided to use Sorensen thinking we were getting a good product and told the other bidders we were going with someone else so we just said ok to the High Roof fee. 10. They were also haggling over a $200 section of 2nd story gutter that was in the contract. 11. The quality of work was generally substandard even on the roof itself. There were a couple nail heads sticking out of the shingles, which would have caused leaking down the road. – The City of Centennial inspector noticed one. Later, we had Dave with Sorensen do another inspection (inspectors don’t care about workmanship – just code violation) and they found another nail. – All the problems were worked on but I would say patched – not repaired because there was nothing wrong with the roof structure prior to them roofing it. Now, we have a house with a brand new roof that is just patched and not the quality of roof or workmanship we thought we were paying for. --Sorensen credited us back $1,000 – thanks to HomeAdvisor and their Problem Resolution Team. We feel that the $590 High Roof cost and the $200 for the upper story gutter listed on their contract, (total $790) was reimbursement. Minus the $1,000, we paid $10,816.00 for a 1972 built, simple 2 story roof – with no valleys. A roof we didn’t think we were getting and a patch-roof job we are stuck with. One last thing – Contractor Information on the City of Centennial PERMIT lists the General Contractor as: Mile High Restoration, Inc. – Beware of Sorensen Roofing & Exteriors, G.C. and if you do hire them, be prepared to go into attics and watch them like a hawk.

As most people in late June we had some serious hail damage. We researched companies and decided to go with a Sorenson. BIG MISTAKE! Our process started in July and now in December we still have not had our siding or painting done. After broken promises, missed deadlines, fighting for someone to call us back, getting our attorney and the BBB involved we have pulled our business from them. Our roof was on time. Material was delivered, workers showed up, they got the job done. What they didn’t do was the roof in our shed. After arguing with them, they finally got our shed done.... 3 months after our roof was done. After two months we received an email from CJ that Lombard would be doing our painting and siding... ok great... NOT... the guy never showed but sent an invoice to Sorenson. We tried on a daily basis to get in touch with CJ. No one in the office would help us. Finally CJ one month after the no show... called us and was very apologetic. He came the next day and took pictures of the house. He said they had a bad contractor he was going to get this all taken care of. Ok great.... then for another month ( we are in November now) no word from CJ. I call the office and needless to say CJ sent us an estimate for the paint the end of November.. So here we go again.... same story different month. In October I had filed a complaint with the BBB and today I contacted my attorney and sent an email to Sorenson requesting a final invoice. The owner calls me and on the advice of my attorney I requested a final invoice. We are done with them. Funny thing though I got a response from the BBB this afternoon that they never responded and have had their accreditation taken away. With that being said. Just because a company has A+ rating on the BBB does not mean they are an A+ company. Trust me when I say they are not worth it. There are other companies out there who do a better job and know how to treat customers. Update... on 1/4 CJ showed up and tried to make everything right. I do appreciate this. He stated he was done with Sorenson and wanted to apologize for everything. For a man almost in tears coming to my door to say he was sorry meant a lot to me.

Had a consult with Andy, only to learn he quit and Jeff took over. Scheduling issues right from the start. Material delivery happen in a snow storm and several times were destroyed or completely wrong. Install day was supposed to start at 0630 according to the office. 0800 no one had shown up yet. Call Jeff and he has no idea. Crew finally shows up only to take a lunch break before predicted rain. Huge storm forces them off roof. Huge mess for me to clean up. Only to find that in their haste to get off the job they installed the furnace vent cap wrong. Gutter company came out and didnt replace gutters as part of the contract. 3 weeks later still nothing fixed. Took days off work when Jeff said someone would be here, no one shows. I would not suggest this company. They are having way too many issues that have gone uncorrected for someone trying to earn your business.

Didnt comply with damage to gutters on roof, punched hole in siding and was told this would be taken care of promply, 1 month later still not fixed. Left several messages with no response as of today.Clean up of nails and flasing was not completed.Will not recommed this company.

Superlative work ethic, efficiency, quality and customer service. I highly recommend Sorensen Roofing to everyone on a personal and professional level.Sorensen mobilized to our house, performed a complete tear-off and re-roof with SBS shingles and installed two skylights. They ensured the yard and driveways were nail/debris free via excellent housekeeping practices. The roofers are all very professional and safety minded.

Called Sorensens for a quote on the roof and Brian Sorensen was here the following day. He actually took pictures of the rooftop to show my housemate, who owns the home, where she had damage. He said he would come and put a tarp over the damaged area the following day, today, and gave very helpful information regarding her homeowners insurance.This morning I was woke up at 8 AM sharp as Mr Sorensen was putting his ladder on the side of the house. I dont write reviews until after I receive service, however I felt very compelled to tell this experience because I feel this goes way above and beyond any customer service. Mr Sorensen doesnt even know if he has a customer yet, he hasnt even submitted a quote. I look forward to updating this review in the near future.

This company was replacing roof (07/25/2017) on our house after hail damage (May, 2017). We will never recommend this company for any body, because on new roof we found a lot soft spots and while they were installing new roof, they made additional damages ( wooden side trim popped off all around the house, corners of trim were broken off as well ). Workers, who worked on the roof did a lot of selfies on the roof without ours permissions. Very bad customer service, after we complained about the dissatisfaction of their work they stopped answering ours phone calls and didnt respond to any of ours voice mails. They have also billed us for an unfinished job and are trying to make us pay for it before repairing the damages that were made.
