Absolute horrible customer service. Don will be reviewed by Spectrum Management. He wanted to argue over and over about an issue that was already resolved by the higher ups of Spectrum. All he needed to do was take a package and give a receipt. However he went on a power trip and was completely wrong. This was confirmed by Spectrum Leadership team. So be aware of Don if you go to the spectrum store.

No real issues with speed and connectivity. No issue with the staff but serious issues with their business practices. They billed me 3 days prior to me cancelling and refuse to prorate the month. My monthly bill is $75. I called customer service after talking to the in-store reps. I was told it is a monthly subscription and despite when you cancel it will charge you the whole month like Amazon would Sorry, you all are nothing like Amazon. If I cancelled with Amazon I could still use the delivery service, stream movies, listen to music. What good is a subscription service when you turn in your modem when you move. Very unethical in my opinion. They pretty much have a monopoly in the area so what is one to do

We had the best service from a guy named Chris, (didnt get a last name). Our signal was weak and he came out and got things up to par. He went above and beyond . Spectrum should feel proud to have him as an employee. Thanks again Chris, you rock!!

Changed my mind, they did NOT come thru with service had to dissolve my service from Spectrum. Demanded back my payment, gave back there modum too. Made special day for service man to connect internet, he(tracey) had entered my complex without my buzz in let alone rang my door bell directly. He them rumaged thru my complex for connection, he never had any instrutions what to follow up with, then loitered in my parking lot for half an hour, let alone park in a unfashional orderly way(diagnal), he gave a bad impression at first sight. I ended up on the phone with spectrum all day to ask for help, then left me to disconnect the aweful service they did not live up to, they are bigger than the customers now and can afford to loose customers to date. I SEE other customers following in these same steps as mine.

Wish we never got Spectrum. Our bill is taken out in automatic payments and for some reason they missed taking it out one month so they double charged us (yes there was money in our account to have taken out) and then on top of those 2 payments we had an installation fee charged to us over a month after we had transferred our service to another house. On top of that, my husband receives calls daily from Spectrum asking if we want to add some type of streaming service to our plan. We have said no more times than I can count now and we still continue to receive calls. I dont know how to deal with this company aside from just completely canceling our service with them. Im so disappointed with every aspect of Spectrum. Take your money elsewhere if you can.

Not complaining about the local store but about my internet service... Ive only had their internet for less than a week and Im already really peeved. First off, the day I called to set up, the guy over the phone put my last name as my first, which they spelt both names completely wrong anyway... and they also spelled my email wrong. I didnt know this til my equipment had arrived and the name on the package was messed up and I hadnt received any confirmation email... so I called to double check. Thank god I did. The first guy on the phone when I called to correct it kept saying the email was right, even though I asked him to check twice and he didnt know how to change the spelling of my name... which led to another half hour wait to get a woman on the phone, who I wish I would have dealt with the very first time I set it all up, because she confirmed it was in fact not the right email in the system and she was able to change my name to the correct spelling. Also I found out my name was STILL on the account with my old roommate at the last place I was at, even though I had called several times in the past and they said they removed it. Not even two days later, Ive gotten 3 missed calls from spectrum, which I didnt even know it was them yet... I was in class and my phone kept buzzing. They call a 4th time, same number so I decide to pick up... they say my name wrong again (I swear to god if they still have my name wrong..), they have some sort of promo offer... I politely say no thank you and I kid you not, the guy goes WOOOOW, how disappointing Brooke then proceeds to try to convince me to take the offer. Apparently they like to use the shaming technique to get people to buy stuff. I just hung up on him because at this point I was so done. The SAME spectrum number just called me again... its 9 oclock at night. I am already so over this company and shopping around for local internet companies.

Worst Internet Provider I’ve ever had in 20 years of having internet. If all you do is stream Netflix than yeah it works. If you play video games or have to have conference calls for work then don’t bother. It’ll drop you or lag incredibly bad. $60.00 a month, what a waste of money.

The absolute worst internet I have ever had. Had them come out once to fix it and turned out the issue was on a larger scale and said it was probably an issue for up to 50 costumers on my side of town. Since it was “fixed” it has been even worse, constant buffering or loss of internet all together and it will take up to 20 minutes for my internet to come back up. But what can you do right since they are the “best in this town”. They will never really fix it because we’ll still keep using this garbage internet since we don’t really have a choice.

Its a shame this is the only company in my area that provides internet services at the speeds required for me to do my job online otherwise this company would NEVER get any of my business. I was flat out LIED to by their customer service rep leading to being overcharged nearly $100 on my monthly bill and when I called to complain the company REFUSED to do anything about it. Bottom line: DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS COMPANY TELLS YOU OVER THE PHONE. They will lie, cheat, and steal and then plead ignorance instead of making things right for a customer whod been with them for 20 years.

Poor customer service in the terms that the average wait time Ive experienced is 30-40 minutes. Ive had service all over Montana and I experience the same thing time and time again; my modem times out several times a day which interrupts any online work Im trying to accomplish. After about 5 minutes of waiting for the modem to reboot, Im finally able to reconnect, however, now all of my NAT information is scrambled so any communications I want to make over VOIP are now unable to connect. They have never been able to figure it out, about to just purchase my own modem.

Ive had several issues with these guys, but this most recent event has really bothered me so I feel I need to share. A few years ago they had problems with a tower and the entire state of Montana was without internet service for a whole month. Although we were assured that that would reflect on our bill and they were not going to charge us for that month they still did. Ive never seen any kind of payback for that month. Now is a very hard time for everyon as we are going into our fourth week of lockdown because of the covid-19 virus. I have a daughter in highschool who is trying to keep up with the homeschooling, that I have a hard time helping with. I have had my hours and work cut by more than half, so I am having a hard time paying my bill. Although they have stated on the news that they were offering free internet for the children who need it for school, apparently that doesnt apply to their paying customers who cant afford to pay this month regardless of children being in the home and needing it or not. No doubt I will be charged for a disconnect and a reconnect charge if and when I can pay it. It is extremely frustrating that this company has no compassion for their good customers, especially during difficult times. I wish there was somewhere else I could go for internet service, but unfortunately they have the monopoly.

Nice people, sharp looking showroom. Initial start up fees are fair but monthly payments will go up in a year.Century Link skipped town and didnt say a word so watch out on those automatic monthly payments. Might be safer to pay for the STOP fee on your auto payment at your financial institution just so Century Link doesnt justify taking additional money out. Hey it happened to us so play hardball.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I recently started internet services with this company and it could not have gone worse. The initial process of ordering and scheduling installation times was easy as it can be done all online. They have 1 hour windows throughout the day to choose and I chose 1pm-2pm window. After around 15 min after 1, I made my first phone call to find out whats going on. I was redirected to a router and then told me a dispatcher would call me. After about 30 min a dispatcher called and said they didnt know why the technician was late, but would find out. Did not hear anything for an hour so I called again. Again, I was redirected to a different person who told me a dispatcher would contact me. I was told another technician would be taking my installation. 45 min go by and no one has arrived to install. Im forced to call a third time and yell at 2 different people before I get confirmation a technician is on his way. Why cant the business keep their appointment time? Why does the customer have to inquire about your technicians being late? Why was there ZERO communication as to why the technician would be late? Absolute horrible customer service. I shouldnt have to get angry with a business to get THEIR services done. You can bet if I wasnt home and a technician showed up for install, I would have been charged some type of fee or they would have turned and left. Use this company at your own risk

I am very disappointed with Spectrum today. When I first signed up a year ago they looked me in the eyes and said the bill would always be 34.99 and never go up. Ive been making it a point to go in every month in person for a whole year. Ive never been late. A week ago, I got a letter in the mail saying it would go up to 64.99. When I went to ask they insisted it was a promotional ad for just a year. They insisted that they would never say that it was only 34.99. They never apologized for the confusion or made a point to remind me of the new upcoming charges. Im on a strict budget and now how to go without essential things until next paycheck because of their sudden change. It would have been different if they would have given me a month or 2 notice so I can plan accordingly but instead they made me feel like a liar. I hope Spectrum can improve their system but I will be switching when I can find better internet for a more affordable price.

Absolutely terrible. Incredibly busy today, all of the customers were more than understanding and waiting patiently with their 2 employees. One made the announcement she was going on lunch and that it was too busy. Then continued to complain about how busy it was and her job. The place would be better without that negativity but instead 10 customers heard it a few of us deciding to just leave since we were inconviencing her.

To me it is sad when you call a company to make a payment arrangement due to unexpected financial mishap and they tell you they cant do anything. I understand they also need to be pd but when you are calling to give them the ability to pull the money on a certain day but because the bill is 2 weeks past due and the payment date you need is 3 days past where they want it. I can see if the payment isnt made after the agreed date doing a shut off but the fact that I am trying to let the company know that it can be pd in full on this date and they wont even work with you to me is sad. I will be looking for a new company to go with.

Last year we returned home to Great Falls and had our cable set up. Since then there have been a few channels added to those available here. To add one or more is going to cost an extra $40!! As if we don’t pay enough for the package we receive now! I have 4 channels that play the same things at the same time!!It’s ridiculous!

This is easily the most backwards company I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. 1.) Many businesses in Great Falls rely on their services for internet and telephone. However, you dont have the option to talk with anyone in the Spectrum Business department face to face because there isnt an office in Great Falls. No one at the local offices can even help you regarding your business account. I am calling multiple times a month for internet issues. The billing is absolutely terrible, and when you finally get to speak with someone after being on hold for 43 minutes, youre assured that an issue has been taken care of just to have to deal with it again. This is after talking to the supervisors, supervisors, supervisor. Terrible to do business with.

Service takes abit to setup with initial scheduling of technicians, but for $50 a month for 100mbs is not a bad deal. Also remember they have a limited number of techs working and other people may have been waiting longer than yourself to get internet setup. Side note on cost: I paid $50 a month for 25mbs back in florida, so stop complaining about expensive internet. Theres also no data caps being enforced here, so be thankful spectrum hasnt started that. Imagine being limited to 300 gigs a month, when all you use is the internet for television. Mediacom charges $10 for every 50 gigs over that, which gets insane. Customer service here is pretty decent, and staff are friendly.

Strongly advise selecting another communications company. Weve had Charter as a carrier since June; selecting the bundle package including cable, Internet, and phone services. Four times is all our cable has worked efficiently, usually the screen shows a blue channel not authorized screen. As follow up measures, we contacted Charter to only be told if we were unsatisfied to bring the cable box to their location. Charter even varified that the channels were authorized and part of our selected package. But, never were we offered to have a technician sent out, and never offered to fix the issue and get the service functioning. Best to select another option that stands by customer service and excellence in their product.

I cannot stress to you how fantastic your customer service representatives are, especially Michelle. Every occasion I’ve had to utilize your Great Falls Montana location has been pleasant and I always get my needs taken care of. When they are unable to handle the situation themselves, they do not hesitate to call and get the issue resolved with someone who can.The internet speeds are fantastic and reasonable on price. I do not have cable tv nor phone services through Charter, so I cannot comment on them. I’m also very impressed with the speed of growth in their internet services. In less than one year their speeds went from 60mb, to 100mb, to 400mb, with an option for 1gb fiber to the home. This really blows me away, as the trickle down effect will kick in and will eventually provide fiber to the home for reasonable rates that most can afford.Bravo Charter, Bravo.

WARNING: Do not use Spectrum.My wife and I spent the past 2 hours trying to get our bill adjusted back to what we were promised when we started the service.We were told wed be charged about $260 For installment and internet, phone, & tv, then $45/month after that. We paid the installment fee and $45 for the month. Then we began getting notices of late fees for a random $270 fee. This was a mysterious add-on charge we were not told about and our first notice was a late fee. Not only that, but they changed our $45/month to $70/month with no changes in the service.Our options are to:A.Shut up and pay the $70 and the $270 mysterious fee. Or,B.Go 30 days without ANY service of any kind then after 30 days, we MAY be able to get the price we were offered in the first place!(I know this option makes no sense, but it is one of our only two options.)We were happy with our CenturyLink service, and were only paying $40/month for the same service, if not better. But it would be another $250 installment fee, plus now without a special offer it would be about $60/month for service. A representative knocked on our door and offered a deal that seemed too good to be true, and it was.We were flat out lied to by Spectrum and screwed over...and of course, theres nothing they can do to help. So were stuck with terrible service for an outlandish price. My wife and I highly recommend Century Link and highly recommend NOT using Spectrum!

And thats the general consensus around town that Ive heard. And its expensive for what you get. Im not one to post negative either but its getting out of hand. Overpriced and under serviced! T Mobiles 5G home internet service is cheaper and their customer service blows Spectrum out of the water. It hasnt become available Nationwide just yet but I highly recommend trying it out and compare it to your current ISP the moment that it comes to your area
