This is Ebba,When she was a puppy she got bit in the head by another dog and developed bacterial meningitis. She wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for this amazing vet clinic! This dog underwent her own little brain surgery. She is now about 3 years old and living a happy healthy life. This clinic didn’t give up on her and was willing to try. That’s all I could ask for! Not only try but they went above and beyond. Ebba still loves going to the vet today. Thanks to your incredible dedication and care!
They were awesome. We were visiting town and needed vet services. Even though they were busy, they worked us in and got Cooper fixed up. The vet, techs, and staff were friendly, caring and professional. If you live in GF, we would recommend as your vet. If you need emergency services, they are the best solution. Cooper says thanks!!
Had a scare with our dogs on a Sunday. We called ahead to let them know we were coming and we were taken back right away. Dr. Adrian was so great, he had wonderful bedside manner and explained everything to us, not to mention the dogs loved him. The techs were excellent with explaining our medications and were so great with the dogs. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost, it was extremely affordable especially on a Sunday emergency call. I just moved to Great Falls and I will definitely be using Big Sky from now on.
My sweet baby wasn’t doing so well. We recently moved here and needed a Doctor that was very knowledgeable and caring for Cats. We found Dr Richardson. She talked our Samantha through everything she was doing to her, I loved that and made Samantha feel very calm. Sadly the diagnosis was good at all and Dr Richardson explained it so well but still not much we could do. That night we rushed her back and luckily Dr Richardson was still on duty. We had to help our baby cross. Dr Richardson let us take our time and cared so deeply. What an incredible Dr to have such an amazing heart. We and our baby are very grateful. You made Samanthas passing very relaxed for her, I am extremely heartbroken to have lost my heart & soul but I’m glad you were the one to help us. The staff is so wonderful as well, when they found out we were coming they were in deepest sympathy for us. The girls at the desk we very kind and made things very stress free knowing what we were about to go through. I would recommend this hospital to anyone that wants the best for there babies. We are clients for life. Jenn
They truly do care! Leaving our dog while we went on a little trip stressed me out but finding out that the vet also kenneled dogs made us feel so much better! She was so happy to go and equally as happy coming home! For sure will be using them everything we go on a trip when she cant come!
Brought my dog in with breathing problems early on a Saturday morning, calling ahead. They promptly opened the door for us.The tech got the history of my pooch and some vitals. The veterinarian came in and did a thorough assessment and recommended a set of x-rays.The veterinarian recommended some medications and talked about a follow-up. He called that afternoon and the next day to discuss anything that came to mind.I was given a military/veteran discount. This was my second time coming and Id recommend them for great service, 24 hours a day.
I had to put my dog to sleep recently. The techs and doctor were absolutely amazing. Kind, respectful, and understanding. They gave me time to say goodbye, and were incredibly respectful after we put her to sleep when the doctor took her away. I don’t want to go anywhere else for any of my other animal’s care—I’m a customer for life!
They treated my dachshund amazing when he ended up paralyzed and needed emergency surgery. Everything was explained very well and all my questions were answered. My dog can walk now and is doing great. The techs did a fantastic job with both of my pups recently while we there getting nail trims. Overall a great place and everyone is always nice and professional.
I took my cat in and he needed surgery. Agreed to the cost for surgery but nothing was mentioned about weekly charges for the next 8 weeks. A representative told me about care credit mentioning no interest for 6 months and no minimum monthly payments. Later found out that the interest charges begin immediately and if the $70 monthly payment is not paid on time there is a late fee every month. Very disappointed to be fed lies about the care credit. Since I was told there was no interest or monthly payments my bills has now sky rocketed due to misinformation. If you do not want to be lied to and misinformed about future billing every week after an event, I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Our dog was bitten by a rattlesnake around 10 p.m. at night and we had to rush her to Big Sky Animal Medical Clinic. She received excellent care. The vet and the tech on duty were very helpful and courteous and caring.
Had a sick dog after hours. The staff was very nice and helped calm both of us. The Dr made sure we understood everything he was doing and made sure he answered all our questions
Mine was an emergency visit and they took very good care of my dog. It was very expensive. When I asked the assistant how much it would cost to get my dogs teeth cleaned she said about $400 and said they were very expensive and she suggested I look for someplace cheaper to get my dogs teeth cleaned.Everyone was courteous and friendly and professional. I would take my dog back there again.
The best vet clinic! These people really care and take time to explain things. They not only saved our bulldogs life and improved his quality of life at a reasonable cost. They also followed up with us the whole way. He feels so much better and is a different dog for the good. Thank you Big Sky!
I brought my dog in after an accident and she needed an amputation. Dr. Blandford was so amazing and kind. He got Chicas surgery done and she is doing just fine. The entire staff showed a lot of compassion and care for my sweet girl. I cannot express how grateful I am for Big Sky Animal Medical Center.
Every member of the staff was extremely helpful and professional. They made my dog feel very comfortable and me as well. Thank you all so much for stitching my Chance dog up right away! Because of you hes doing great!
I love Big Sky so much. The staff is always wonderful and they always do their best to get you in and out. I can truly always count in them to take care of my animals.
The staff is very kind and very caring about your pet. The Dr. took time with me and answered all of my questions about my diabetic cat. This was the first time I had gone to Big Sky because they were open until 5 p.m. on a Saturday making them the only clinic in Great Falls to go to, thank goodness since I had no insulin for my cat and my vet wasnt available. (I get the insulin from Chewy, but due to severe weather in Texas and Arizona it couldnt be delivered hence the emergency visit). I was so very grateful for their availability other wise I probably would have lost my precious kitty. Their prices were also better than expected for a Saturday visit.
I have to highly recommend Big Sky Medical. They saw me late Saturday night, 4th of July week-end. I am not even one of their clients. I was visiting from out of town and my GSP developed a very sore, painful leg. The vet and assistant were professional, caring and thorough. I also felt the charges for my emergency visit were reasonable. Thank you, Big Sky Medical!
Often the only place in town open for emergency services. I board my dogs and cat here often. Boarding is fairly inexpensive with options for indoor and indoor/ outdoor kennels for smaller and larger breeds. It is a very well run establishment and highly professional staff but it comes at a hefty price tag. There are fees on top of fees. For example. Getting a dog a $26 rabies vaccination requires a $60+ physical examination. Having a dog boarded requires an extra treatment per visit regardless of time between stays which adds $. Again, I try to get most routine services done at another location in town that is more reasonably priced and only bring my pets here for emergencies and boarding.
These guys rock! Jake and Wilson love visiting you when we are out of town. Thank you for always taking great care of them!
I went in on Sunday and I wanted for over to three hours to be seen. I only seen the vet for 5 minutes, they wanted to draw blood and take a xray that costs almost $200. they took my cat out of room to do what ever it was they did, that made my cat even more stressed out. They gave my cat a medication that caused her to have a overdose. And when I called to ask about it the vet said it was not the medication it was due to me refusing to do a xray that was not needed. They did this knowing how it would effect my cat to try to get me to come back and spend even more money on a treatment that was not needed. I know that she was over dosed due to my own research and speaking with another vet.I am glad my cat survived thanks to the work of a different vet!
We have only been here twice, once for a checkup, which the dr was very passionate and took the time to explain things to us. and just the other day I had to bring my yorkie in for an emergency visit. He had lost control of his hind end and legs and couldn’t move. Staff are very friendly and caring. The wait was long but is expected as a walk-in. There were others before us. The dr was very compassionate and looked him over very closely and watched the short video I captured of my little ones incident, which happed several times since the weekend. He watched him walk as well. Unfortunately my little one has a vertebra disease. The dr was very explanatory and what is the possibilities and outcomes if it worsens. So far our experience has been very good.
One of my dogs had an allergic reaction on a Saturday night at 9pm. Not only did the tech I spoke with over the phone give me great advice prior to my arrival, but once I arrived my dog was seen promptly, the care was fantastic, and the cost very reasonable, considering it was 9 pm on a Saturday night. Overall great experience.
They were quick to get our Jack Russell in after he was bit 2x by a huge Prairie Rattlesnake. Quick to get his treatment & explain everything.
Took my cat for a wellness check it was a quick and easy process. Great service here.
Everyone was super friendly and they saw my dog within 20 minutes of arrival. Definitely a good spot to go if you need last-minute/urgent vet services.
My dog Zoey loves going to Big Sky. The staff is extremely friendly and go the extra mile to care for my pup. I have boarded her a few times and there pricing is the best in town and I never have to worry as I know she is getting the best care in town. Top knotch!!! Thank you for all you do.
Very good veterinarian, they were very kind and patient with my cat. They do provide boarding services which you must also purchase the CAPSTAR medicine to prevent intestinal parasites and also flea medicine to also prevent infestations. The cost for indoor/outdoor kennel is $22.50 per day and $17 for just indoor. Seemed to take good care of my cat for the time she was boarded there.
I love that this vet is a 24 hour vet!! I have a polydactyl cat and noticed that one of her thumb nails was starting to grow into her paw and called immediately and was able to get in! Upon further investigation, her other paw had her thumb nail missed for cuts multiple times and was actually starting to grow into her paw. I was so fearful that we would have to remove her thumb, but the doctor was AMAZING and was able to remove both nails very fast, efficiently, and carefully! I will be making this vet my primary care for my cat as I was so impressed with their compassion and expertise.
I’ve been at this vet clinic for years. But the staff(not the vets) is all new. It would be nice if the staff introduced themselves and/or their name badges were big enough to see. It would certainly make the experience more personable. The vet, Dr Richardson was great. ( and her name tag was large enough to see).
Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for helping our puppy feel better.
They took very good care of our dog Koda. Although some complications another process was usedStaff is very professional and caring. KODA is home and appears to do well. Thanks.
I was so glad that they could see us so soon. I had to take my wolfhound in after I got off work. Michelle Richardson was so good with her and gave me different options. We left with everything we needed and the price was very reasonable for the care/supplies that we recieved. Its only been 2 days and my wolfhound is so much better.
Incredible staff. Gentle and efficient with their care of animals. Emergency care without breaking the bank. Will recommend to all family and friends.
I brought my dog in for emergency services due to him having very bloody stools and vomit. Everyone that works there was so kind and professional. I was especially pleased with their secretaries and Dr. Joe Adrian. My dog stayed over night for two nights and I was so pleased with the informative updates that I received from Dr. Joe. My dog is feeling better and I’m so thankful for all the care that Big Sky Animal Medical Center gave to my dog. They went above and beyond and were so comforting and professional.
THANK YOU FOR THE COMPASSION YOU SHOWED ME AND MY SWEET ANNIE . YOU MADE ONE OF THE SADDEST DAYS BEARABLE.
My new puppy wasnt getting out of bed so I took him right in immediately for urgent care. He had parvo. They have staff 24hrs and had him on meds all night. He came through amazingly. (Also had 1st shots) very good hospital. The cost was better than expected. If its something serious they are the one to use.
This is the first time I have ever had a dog. Took my 9 week old puppy for her Initial Examination and Vaccinations. Very professional, took the time to answer my 1 million questions, very friendly, 5 star service.
The doors were open promptly at 7:00am. They called me as soon as my dog was awake from dental cleaning. Gave me clear instructions for care after the cleaning. Phoned the next day to see how dogs were doing. Handled dogs with care and respect. Staff was courteous and helpful.
Put our best friend foen they dod awsume. Good serive3 and courteous
I have a dog I rescued he bites Nd is very skidding they handled him well and mom and dad are happy and so is my baby
Amazing group of caring knowledgeable PROFESSIONALS! Great experience from the second I carried my paralyzed dog into the clinic. She made a full recovery.
I wish I wld have known about them along time ago . The Doctor was so gentle and so caring...Never seen this interaction at the pets level..I felt so wounderful when I left..and the vet knew exactly what problems were..Thank You so very much.🤗Pam Hertz
These guys are absolutely amazing and they didnt break the bank they took fantastic care of our little furbaby thank you all for such an awesome job well done
The team at Big Sky Animal Medical Center was very kind and informative. Everyone was great and did all they could do to help our dog feel as comfortable as possible and us as well.
Had emergency with my dog they are sit up well to respond to that kind of situation but believe me they are not cheap
My cat had urinary tract issues. I got daily calls about how he was doing.
The staff is really friendly. They seem to really focus on getting to know your animal. I would recommend to any pet owner.
The staff were caring, professional courteous. Outstanding service
I have been extremely happy with the care they have provided for my pets! They are friendly, respectful and even followed up the next day to check on my dog I had to take into Emergency Care. I immediately changed my vet clinic upon receiving such great care.
I always have a great experience when I take my animals in. The veterinarians are always professional and caring.
The providers and staff really care about the animals foremost
Excellent doctors and staff. Absolutely the best care—from routine check-ups and vaccinations to surgery. Has a boarding kennel which is a big plus. The staff reminds me of upcoming visits and calls the following day to make sure Jax is doing ok.
I was able to have my dog seen quickly and the problem was solved.
I had an emergency situation, I asked for a service and agreed to the terms, and that service was provided to me in a very prompt time and manner. Any communication error in this transaction was due to my emotional and impulsive response.
We were able to get in on a Saturday for an emergency situation. The on call vet was very courteous and followed up with a care check Sunday morning to make sure our dog was doing well. Thank you!
We had our first visit with Dr. Richardson today and we were very impressed. We came in for a general wellness exam and vaccines for our Poodle. Dr. Richardson conducted a very thorough exam. We will absolutely be back to see Dr. Richardson and the kind staff at Big Sky!
Stuck in a pinch to cross the border Big Sky came through, thank you.
My dog has been so sick. Not eating and vomiting bile because of her empty stomach. I brought her in to their urgent care service. I left with a 600+ bill and zero answers for my poor sweetie. She is still not eating and I am beyond stressed and upset with their veterinarian.
I took my cat in with signs of a UTI and they had us back in less than 30 minutes and out an hour later. Very reasonably priced and the staff were really caring and kind to my nervous kitty. Excellent experience!!
I had had to take my dog in twice. Both were emergencies visits. The first was when she had a stroke. They vet on call exhibited compassion and good treatment of my dog. The second time was when we had to put her to sleep. My dad brought her in and he was very sad, she had been with us almost 19 years and was a huge (for such a little dog) part of our family. They treated him with compassion and kindness and did the same for Maggie while they put her to sleep. I havent used them for my regular vet services, but I find them to be very good emergency care.
Stopped in while passing through town with injured dog. They were wonderfully friendly, thorough, and quick, which is rare for an emergency stop. I highly recommend.
Friendly staff and knowledgeable
I only gave this business two stars because they called me back and said we could come in 2 hours sooner than first scheduled. Once there, my cat and I were left waiting for 2 hours in the car due to the COVID restrictions. During these two hours, the oversight was brought up twice, but I still watched as case after case went in ahead of us. The one worker who noticed and reassured me that shed take care of us, proceeded then to bring in 3 more cases without even acknowledging us. I left. I wont return.
Staff was wonderful to Nebula and I. Very clean in there and Nebula liked the little cat room. Price is reasonable too for emergencies. I was thankful for services. I will be going there again.
This place is amazing with animals. The staff is really friendly and if your pets get scared during vaccines. Dont worry these guys are the best my dog loved them. They gave him a treat for letting. Them give him his vaccines. Just so friendly. And very helpful
I have taken my dog Rylee in twice for emergencies. One doctor was more analytical than the other. Yes, it was a female vet. Did she do what needed to be done? Yes. Do I care if she hugs on my dog or me? No. Thats why I have a regular vet. Our treatment was great. The other night my mom and I took in her dog. We thought we were going to lose him. Dr Matt came out and explained everything. He looked tired but was still patient with my 90 yo mother. Kudos to him!!Sometimes in life it is what it is. Just like us two-legged babies, if you dont like the service, go to your regular vet or find a new vet.
We took our beloved dog Crash to Dr. Rick Scherr in Great Falls for a CT scan of his front legs, given his ever-worsening limp. At a year and a half old, he walks like an old man dog. Dr. Scherr took the time to carefully review and explain all of the results with us. Crash is the coolest dog we have ever met, and pets are family. Surgery TBD, but the doc travels all over Montana every week to take care of all its creatures, and he visits Kalispell every Thursday, so we will follow up with him back home. The office staff are ridiculously friendly, the office is clean as a whistle, and our bill ended up being about a third less than we anticipated. Thank you!!!
Would never recommend this place. Vet is a horribly rude person who does not care about animals. Held my dog as property and refused to return him to me due to poor communication on their part. Also insulted me and called me all types of names. He is my emotional support animal. Do not take your animal here. I am contacting the news about this facility. Would give them negative stars if possible.
We have been frequent visitors at Big Sky after two back surgeries and physical therapy for my corgi Pepper in the past 10 months. I cant say enough good things about the entire staff. The front desk ladies have been kind, helpful, and empathetic. The vet techs have been patient and gentle with Pepper. Dr. Harmon has been thorough and clearly cares about providing the highest level of care. Susie, the physical therapist, is so kind and wonderful. They have been upfront about costs and have not exceeded initial estimates. We had great success after the first surgery but then things started to slide backward with what turned out to be a rare migration of a partial disc from the first surgery. Dr. Harmon offered free diagnostics to figure out exactly what was going on and then a significantly reduced cost second surgery with him and Dr. Scherr, and physical therapy to follow. Every time we visit, everyone we come into contact with greets us happily and seems genuinely happy to see Pepper. Its really heartwarming. I have been endlessly impressed with the quality of care for Pepper and the kindness shown to my husband and me at Big Sky. Highly recommend.
The staff is very nice! We were weary about leaving our dog alone but they made sure she was happy and comfortable! And they made sure to explain everything to us in a way we would understand 😃
If I could give no stars that is what it would be. My dog was attacked by another dog. They did not take care of the wounds like they should have. Any teeth contact should be thoroughly cleaned and cut the dead skin out. She ended up having internal damage as well and had a horrible infection. She was in so much pain. Vet said nothing she could do for her. She suffered for 3 days. We had to put her down. I blame the hospital for not doing more for her.
The staff was very professional as always. Thank youFor everything you do.
Take real good care ❤ of your pets
The staff and Dr. were very nice. My dog ended up needing X-rays because he swallowed something he shouldnt have. I had to leave him there all day just to make sure everything had passed though his body. I went to pick him up and pay the bill when I was presented with a nearly $800.00 bill. I understood that the X-rays would cost a lot, but I thought it was normal practice for vets to call/tell you if something is going to cost over 150.00. Thank goodness it was payday and I had the money in my bank account. This was after 5:00 on New Years Eve, so going to a bank to retrieve that money from savings would not have been an option. Like, what average Joe has 800.00 just chilling in their bank account? Im just shocked that I was not informed in the slightest or asked if okay to administer something that by itself was $500.00. Would I have said yes? Probably. I love my dog. However, this does not change the fact that I was not informed about such a huge bill before arriving to pick him.
Always have a great time here. My pets feel comfortable and safe. The staff are very nice, knowledgeable, and caring. You can wait in the room with your pet.
Very friendly and knowledgeable, I feel very comfortable taking my pets here.
If I could have given no stars I would have. My daughters dog got hit by s car, and I regret telling her to take this 6 month old puppy there. Her hip was shattered and needed $2500 surgery. They agreed to take hefty payments. This was supposed to the people that run this dump. 2 minutes later they said the doctor changed his mind. They made her to take a broken dog home with no explanation s. She ended up being put down. Terrible people. Rude. Discusting .
😑Clean, great ethics such a knowledgeable staff . We loved our first visit and are definitely going to be lifetime friends. There cost is very reasonable. And boarding fees are acceptional . Really good rates.Update: The first visit is great, after that its😑
2 of my favorite kittens died because of them.
Had to take my pup in today. They got her under control just wish I could let them have her over night.
I have two very cute English Bull dogs that go to Big Sky Animal Hospital. I brought them there because a lot of my friends went there and they had a great reputation. I was so happy my first visit, they took excellent care of my dogs. I wont go anywhere else now.
Big Sky is a phenomenal vet. From abnormal skin issues, helping with my dog’s stomach problems, to routine check ups — the care that Dr. Adrian has given our pups has made me feel so much less anxious and I always appreciate the staff’s kindness and professionalism!
The staff at Big Sky Animal is second to none. Ive been bringing all of my animals here for over ten years and I have no complaints. They always treat them the best they can.
Great place!
The staff is very personable and extremely caring in all areas. It is clear to see they have my pets best interest in mind. The front desk staff are especially warm and friendly and make us feel taken care of.
I have used them for a long time. Have 2 cats 2 dogs. They are to busy for me. Staff is rude and have no patient type ability. Reminds me of a welfare office, rushed in rushed out. Not to mention they tack that 40.00 on for the check-up whether you like it or not. Big Facility and lots of payments to make. I remember the last time I was there. My mom was dying, supposed to drop the dog off which I did. Been there all day. called Dr Harmon and said I have to come get him NOW, gotta go mama is dying. Calls me back later tells me my dog has Lymphoma, I said I figured that. How long can I keep him? Well ya know w/chemo. I already looked it all up. He said at first I would have him for a year. You creep you lied. ! week later the nodes in his neck doubled. Pain he said no there isnt much pain. His legs/nodes, fast moving crap. I did all my own homework, GOD forbid I listened to this IDIOT.
The place is RUDE the ladies in front are nothing but RUDE workers the VET as well, I got recommendations to go here from another vet an I tell you I would not recommend it to anyone at all. I swear the service I got was not right idk if it’s cause I am NATIVE AMERICAN or just didn’t like me or my dog 🤦♀️ talking in the phone is 2 different sides to the vet & ladies cause they seem so nice in the phone but face to face nope they literally said some rude comments to me well I was waiting for the vet.People have good experience but some have HORRIBLE experiences.. I apologize to the ones that don’t like what I gotta say but I am telling the TRUTH 💯 percent the truth how I was treated an this is my REVIEW GODS HONEST TRUTH...
Most of the staff is wonderful, with one exception. My dog was in critical condition and the cost of the tests were high (which I understand). I authorized some tests but the costs were a little more than my original estimate. She treated me as if I were beneath her, no compassion for how I was feeling. My dog died later that week in my arms.
Ive been bringing my pups to Big Sky ANimal Medical Center for two years - and going strong. Everyone here is super accommodating, they get me right in and my little guys are always taken care of. Theyre awesome, I highly recommend taking your animals here if youre looking for a vet.
Willing to put a dog down without knowing the full situation or allowing a trainer to come evaluate him due to personal connections with the owner.
Big sky has taken care of Duke for several years now. They are super friendly, have great prices and will take fantastic care of your fur baby.
My family uses Big Sky as an emergency vet only. Usually when we come in, there is an amazing over night doctor. He has always treated us great and ensures our pets get the best care in their scariest moments. As much as I appreciate that vet, I am incredibly hesitant to ever return after the last two visits. The last time, we got an incredibly awful woman. My husband and I brought in our Shar pei with a laceration on his leg. This vet treated me so rude during the consolation that I left in shock. I assumed at the time that although her bedside manner was lacking, she would probably still be a competent vet and tried to shrug it off. They took my dog into the back and got him taken care of pretty quickly. When they brought him out, his leg was stapled shut and they left it unbandaged. This confused me, but I do try to have faith in the people I am paying (this ended up being a $1000 endeavor, by the way. For a simple laceration). After two days, the staples began to come open, so we went back to the vet. The same woman was there, and she acted as though it was entirely my family’s fault for the wound opening up. I understand that it is her job to help my dog and the more knowledge she has, the better she can do that, but she was incredibly accusatory. We left completely appalled, but at least our dog was taken care of, and it seemed like the wound was in a better state than the first time.A few days later, I took my dog to his regular vet and showed her images of the wound and the initial services we received directly after returning home (see attached photo). She was pretty shocked. She removed the stitches this vet put in after our second visit and our dog started healing much quicker. She told me she definitely wouldn’t have treated the wound that way given the location and depth of the wound. It’s incredibly frustrating. Never in my life have I dreaded taking care of my animals properly. Being belittled like that tested my patience, and to know that this doctor completely botched my dog’s leg on top of it—it’s disheartening. I feel so bad for putting him through that, and for what? I sincerely hope that vet is reprimanded in some way. I only wish I could remember her name. She is the tall blonde woman with glasses. If you see her, turn the hell around and leave immediately. I would hate for you and your pet to endure what we recently went through.
A very nice, clean facility. I have been in the back to and its spotless back there as well. Im very satisfied with the treatment and service my cat and I receive every time we visit there.
I can tell by some of the reviews about big sky clinic people are up set about the money they had to spend. Well, let me tell you something. Jakey Standard Poodle. In the middle of the night woke up. Was in alot of pain in the gut area. Called AVS after hours number. Answering Service said Big Sky was on call. I got ahold of them around 1100 pm. They told me to bring him in. Sure enough he had a twisted gut. The doc was up front about what needed to be done and the price. They saved Jakes life. 1st off people my dogs are my kids. They are going to get sick, hurt what ever. If you cant afford a vet bill. You shouldnt have a pet to begin with.People complain about a bill for dogs.Try paying one for a horse..eye openerBig Sky Thank you.....
I love Big Sky Animal Medical Center. I feel like I can really trust them and my pets actually like going. Its has to be because of the amazing vets!
I have a very tiny Maltese chihuahua cross that needed spine surgery the last of September, Dr. Sherr performed the disc removal and was very conscientious about following up on Willies recovery. He is doing very well and I appreciate the caring efficiency of the clinic employees also the immaculate clinic.
Three years ago these people fixed my labs broken leg and charged me $2600. Now she has bone cancer in that leg (sloppy work?). I have called them many times to have the Doc give me a call and discuss options. No return call at all. I am getting pain meds from Bridger in Helena (much better people) but my dog needs help and this bunch do not care unless you have a lot of money to waste.UPDATE: I made contact and reached an agreement with Dr. Scherr and the operation was a success. Thanks Doc! I feel the problem here is some of the front desk staff that do not want to take the time to listen to what you have to say. They are to busy being the controlling one in charge of everything. Contacting by phone or email did not work for me. I had to drive 110 miles, walk in and request a personal visit with Dr. Scherr to get things started. He apologized however it was not his fault. I would recommend this place.
Been going here for years... got a new puppy that hurt her leg on a Sunday brought here in paid the outrageous emergency call bill. Took xrays and wrapped it said they need a second opinion from another vet... got a call at 745 they wanted to do more xrays saying they didnt get them right the first time..they wanted to charge another 200$ for more ... then told us we are animal hammer clients... guess it time to find a new vet... staff very rude!!!!
My pets are my family and the people at Big Sky understand that. They care for them as if they are their family too. Their professional practices really allow me to trust them and I have always had great experiences!
