Very courteous and professional. He checked everything out and called before performing any work. Also really liked the fact that he showed me the used parts compared to a new one and only took a few hours. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience here with my mother-in-law’s 2009 Honda Civic. A/C stopped blowing cold right as we were in the middle of daily 90° heat. We had taken the car to a national chain previously where, after about 45 minutes, a bad relay and compressor ($$$) was the diagnosis. Cost being an issue, we found Hamil’s and John was able to get us in the next day. John took the extra time to do a thorough analysis and concluded that only the relay needed to be replaced. He was able to get the part the same day and get my mother-in-law back on the road with the A/C “colder than ever” within a few hours. It would have been easy for John to try to sell us a new compressor (there is a known issue with the compressors in the ‘09 Civics), but he didn’t and it was much appreciated.

We have been going to this garage for a few years now and are extremely happy. One of our car is pretty old (1997) and this is our place of choice. One thing they dont do much is oil change. Very fair pricing.

I almost dont want to leave this review because I dont want to let the cat out of the bag. I got recommended to Hamils from my sister about 8 years ago. We have taken several vehicles here and John will tell you exactly whats wrong and what needs to be replaced and what can wait. He will not pressure you into buying parts you dont need. I was visiting town from Wisconsin, heard a clinking from my back tire and thought it was going to fall off! I called Hamils, and he got me in right away!Come to find out I had a bolt missing on my brake! He fixed her right on up and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes! I cannot say enough nice things about this shop. Its small and the owner is working on your car.I felt welcome, and as a woman, I worry someone will take advantage of my lack of knowledge but the job only costed me 17.60$$$$!!!!I was in awe and am going back to tip him! I wouldnt be getting home today if it wasnt for this shops hospitality!Five stars doesnt even do him justice!
