Definitely helpful, we had to have our truck towed and since it was an unexpected thing, they let us keep the truck there for a few days without any added charges. The tow truck driver was also very careful moving our only means of transportation.

Let me just say this is the best towing company and experience Ive ever had. I called AAA and they sent Fischer towing and they wouldnt go a couple hundred yards down a gravel road to pickup my Tacoma. Being frustrated with them and not knowing who to call I found Gold Country online. Fox the owner showed up in less than 45mins, didnt hesitate about the gravel road, took time to look at the engine, attempted to jump the vehicle, had a great chat, hooked up the truck and off he went. He even followed up with me after he dropped the truck at the Toyota dealership. I will never hesitate to call any other company in the future other than gold country.

I was contracted out to Fischer Towing by AAA and was told I was not going to have my car towed from Grass Valley to Sacramento that day. My car would be moved from one lot to another and it would sit in their lot for a few days until a driver became available. I opted out of this option and looked for another towing company that would get the job done. Gold Country Towing said they could tow my car that very night, which is what I needed. The driver was at my location in 15 minutes, loaded the car in less than 10 minutes and we were on the way. They did come out bright and early to pick up my car To drop it at the auto repair shop. But when I went to pick up my car from the repair shop they asked me why I left my car sitting in the middle of the parking lot with the keys in it and the doors unlocked. 🤔😮🤔WTH!? I explained that the tow truck driver had dropped it off and I didnt know what had happened. oops!

This was the best tow experience ive had. From the very beginning Brogan was very professional and thorough about the problem. When he arrived he was genuine and helped to even find the lost keys. All the service was stellar and good informative conversation. Thank you!!!

Doubt if this will be posted but here goes, gold country towing towed my Harley Davidson from Nevada city . I am not from Nevada city and know nothing about Victorian Christmas. I was parked in a motorcycle slot on the street . There are no meters on the motorcycle slots and I did not see or pay attention to the Victorian Christmas signs posted on all the meters where the cars were parked . When I got to the yard it was five minutes after five and those bloodsuckers still wanted to charge me a gate fee. It says on your website open 24 hours if that’s the case why are you charging a gate fee? Anyway I paid your Outrageous towing fee of $285 got my bike back with two brand new scratches on the gas tank. When I brought it to their attention all they could say was oh wow.

I cannot say enough about the kindness, warmth and exceptional service that we received from Broughan after our car lost its brakes coming down from Emigrant Gap. After our roadside assistance warned us that the tow truck would not be able to transport our 18mos old daughter, I spent an agonizing hour on the phone trying to locate a taxi service to transport her and me separately from the vehicle. Thankfully, Brougham explained that his truck had a rear seat and could easily - and safely - transport our whole family. Moreover, he was the best company we couldve asked for on the long ride home. I got in a crash and my truck got hung up on the gaurdrail. They came out quickly and got me unstuck without causing more damage. They were easy to work with and everything was taken car of quickly.

The BEST. I was stuck in the hot sun during rush hour. They came, they conquered and saved the day with calm, cool grace. It is nice to be put at ease during a car breakdown. The driver was mannered, clean and polite. The truck was clean. The fees were what I expected - but the service was way better than expected. Excellent.

From the moment the phone was answered by Margaret, friendly and professional, I knew Id found my tow company. My 19 foot travel trailer is newer and needed to be towed to storage before Id had time to get tow equipment installed on my truck. Her husband and co-owner husband Fox, came promptly, used great care in hooking up, checked my tire air at my request, unhooked the battery at my request and off we went, SLOWLY: worst nightmare scenario Id had was if I got a driver who just wanted a quick tow and did a fast drive, oh no, Fox said, Were ready and lets go slow YES ! Gold Country Towing is the best! I had them tow an old motorhome that had been sitting in a friends yard for many years. The driver was very patient in answering our questions about the best way to tow the vehicle. The driver took his time to make sure wheels, brakes, etc. were functional before we took it onto the road. It took longer to get the vehicle towed than they originally estimated but they did not ask for more money. I recommend them.

I chose this tow service because of its excellent reviews, which, as it turns out, are well deserved. In the past two months Ive had them tow a fifth wheel trailer--twice, my diesel 4x4 pickup, and 20 stock horse trailer. All good experiences (except for the reasons for the tows, of couse!) :-)

So I had the unfortunate luck of having my ca impounded by the CHP for registration reasons. It was late on a Thursday and as a full time student and single mom I thought there was no way I would be able to get my car out due to financial reasons. I called Gold country toe and spoke to Brogan and told him that I couldnt afford to get my car out of impound and offered my pink slip to help cut the cost of the impound fees that I would have to pay with my school money. Brogan told me that they didnt. want me to lose my car, that they wanted to help me. I was able to take care of my registration late Friday and was going to be able to pick my car up Saturday after I showed proof of registration to the CHP. Saturday morning at 8am I received a call from Brogan telling me that CHP was not open on the weekend so I wasnt going to be able to get it signed off till Monday but not to worry, that they want me to have my car back and there would be no increase in fees for the weekend. Monday morning I was able to get my car signed off from CHP and get my car out. Thank you Brogan for your generosity, kindness and compassion toward me. Never have I heard of a tow company doing such a thing! I highly recommend them and if you talk to Brogan tell him Brandee sent you!!
