Im really sorry Art no longer owns this business. I have been there 3 times first two no one came out to pump gas. Third time no gas.

These guys did a tune up on my 2000 Chinook Concourse. I am so happy with them and their work: they called me to tell me the parts I had provided were not optimal for my unit and recommended the correct ones, then called ahead to the auto parts store and had them waiting for me at will-call. Then, if thats not enough, they charged 2/3 of what another garage had quoted, and finished the job in a day. Top quality work. Highly recommend!!

Always, for 30+ years, my familys go-to. Finding out they are one of only three auto mechanics in the entire Grass Valley area who perform Smog I tests on pre 2000 vehicles raises my regard for them even more! Too bad 5 is the maximum number of stars to give, in my book its 10 all the way!!

I went in and had them replace the power steering pump in my Subaru. I asked the receptionist Lisa to call me when they get the old pump out, but I had to call them, no big deal. So they replaced the pump and I called and asked Lisa to call me when my car is ready, yet again I received no call and had to call them, slightly annoying. Picked up the car, and after driving it twice the power steering pump broke. When I called they said that happens with some pumps. I did my research, called Subaru and auto zone where I got the pump and indeed it can rarely happen. So I called the receptionist Lisa again and asked if they would be willing to replace the new one for free or at least discounted seeing as I just paid them $125 to replace the last one days ago. Lisa said she would have Art call me later in the day. But big surprise, No call at all. I wanted to call back and politely tell her she needs to learn better communication and customer service skills, however with how annoying the whole experience was. I decided not to bother knowing it would change nothing. Decided to leave a review instead. Dont expect strong communication or solid results when going to Arts.

I hate when smog time comes around. Especially in this state with its backwards and convoluted smog laws designed only to profit the rich at the expense of our air quality and the poor, but these guys made it as trouble-free as possible.
