Actually ate at Harvest Hall. All these restaurants (I believe) are the first incarnation of brick and morter for historically food truck based eateries. Its like a food court. Nice outside area. There is a bar for adult beverages. Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, Texas BBQ, etc. Nice idea next to the train station in Grapevine.
Loved everything about Vin! Lots of Easter eggs. Motion activated accent lighting in the restroom was a cool touch. The decor is really cool. Love how they tied the wine theme into everything. Oh and breakfast was actually really good! Fresh eggs prepared perfectly. We will be back!
My wife and I stayed here on a short overnight trip to Grapevine, TX. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly. The room was great and the whole atmosphere of this hotel is amazing. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from all attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Vin is a gorgeous addition to Grapevine. The decor is fantastic and there are so many small details that make it seem like a really unique experience. We enjoyed visiting and exploring. The parking garage is also easy to use and there is a specific section for guests to park (which makes things easy when you have luggage). While staying, you should check out Harvest Hall. There is definitely something for everyone to eat there!
Great hotel. Great rooms. Great staff. Nice wine bar though I expected more by the glass selection from a wine themed hotel. Maybe a Coravin list?!Food was mediocre at best.Short staffed and the wait shows it, especially in the kitchenMeatballs were cold in center and crying out for some more sauceBuratta was watery and of poor quality, etc.
Restaurant is great and the hotel looks nice but our room didnt have working air conditioning and it was a pain trying to get it figured out.
We enjoyed the north patio. Hpwever. the a.c. unit is so loud, and staff stand behind it to smoke. Sound and air pollution result.
This Hotel has all the makings of a 5 star stay. An easy train ride from the airport of you visiting the area and a wonderful location for a staycation. I have not stayed here since there recent opening but the hotel property is very nice and the staff is very attentive. The other plus is that the new and upscale food court is an indoor walk from your room. Downtown grapevine is walking distance and a local brewery are both walking distance but opposite directions. For shopping, other food, entertainment, and wineries are all available in downtown grapevine. With so much happening Hotel Vin is a solid win for visitors. Ill change my rating once I actually stay here.
The entire experience was wonderful. From the beautiful room, to the environment, to downtown Grapevine, located right next to the train depot, and the whole Harvest Hall set up, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was in walking distance, the hotel is clean and upscale with a wine club of the month and a free tasting upon our check in. Very spacious rooms, the food was superb, we will definitely return in the future for another visit! Perfect for a date night or casual evening away. I especially want to compliment Moriah at the front desk, she was kind, friendly, helpful, and professional! She had a smile on her face every time we saw her (you could tell by her eyes, as she was wearing a face mask, which we also appreciated all the staff following guidelines to make us feel safe), was in a great mood, and extremely accommodating with our requests. She made our time there flawless! She is an asset to the company and a rare employee to find these days.
Went to Hotel Vin for a quick getaway from Fort Worth and definitely recommend it! Super easy to get to via the train but feels like your in a small town further away. Hotel is very well done and paid a lot of attention to the details. They also had great perks like offering us a free glass of wine at the hotel bar and free breakfast based on our status.
It’s all in the details. Beautiful originality in every aspect of the design, yer so comfortable as a special home away from home for business or pleasure I could definitely never leave, if I had the option!
Please get Umbrellas for the beautiful outdoor space. Very sunny and hot in Texas. Umbrellas would offer shade and a much more enjoyable experience. Lovely place
Boutique hotel in downtown Grapevine reminiscent of the classic age of railroads that reminds me of a smaller version of St. Louis Union Station.Staff is great and service is outstanding. Live music and wonderful spaces to lounge, have a cocktail or a quick bite. Harvest Hall is a great place to visit and relax.Restaurant and bar area is an inviting area and Havest Hall has six more unique kitchens and a nice bar. Well worth a stay or a visit.
Great hotel experience and excellent rooftop bar.
Very nice hotel. It has a cool food court offering burgers, Latin, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and Southern cuisine. One minor issue is that I could hear the train from my room but overall a very nice stay.
Overall a very nice hotel. Very new as of early 2021, exceptionally clean, modern, finely furnished, attractive decor. We had too many issues though that keep us from rating it 5 star.Poor communication related to self parking procedures and elevator requirements. Regular king room bathroom design uses a sliding barn door style, no fan in bathroom, regular foam pillows were really uncomfortable, motion activated bathroom light would repeated come on throughout the night (especially brutal with the aforementioned frosted glass barn door).Lobby bar appears to be a hotspot for locals and was very active. Lots of events over Memorial Day weekend made for a vibrant, albeit loud visit. Several bands playing late into the night including a couple under our window.Again, overall a nice place, but still some kinks to smooth out.
The staff is very likable! Our server at Bacchus was just excellent so was Greyson who allowed us to see the food hall even though it was closed.
My family stayed at the Hotel Vin over the holidays for a quick getaway. We booked two nights but left after just one. While the hotel is beautiful, and new, it was a complete disappointment. When we arrived we waited for the 3 staff members behind the front desk to stop their conversation and acknowledge that we were waiting to check in. There was a cursory thanks for your loyalty message (I am the highest level of Marriotts loyalty program) but nothing more. We had dinner in the restaurant (aka. the lobby) and had premium-priced mediocre food and inattentive service even though it wasnt busy. Our room looked fine, as it should since it is new. It was nicely appointed and the bathroom was very nicely designed. The beds, however, were terrible. I felt like I was going to roll off the edge of the bed the entire night and got very little sleep. After one night there was no way I was going to do it again and made the decision to check out and go home. I hope this hotels management can address the problems. It has great potential but severely lacks in customer service and guest comfort.
My wife and I attended a marriage conference here. The hotel property is amazing and the staff is fantastic!! If it had a pool it would be perfect.
Rooms are small for the price but service is excellent. The atmosphere is truly fantastic. Plenty of places to relax and grapevine is a treasure. PLEASE add some more healthy options to the food selections.
Have you ever stayed at a Marriott on Time Square... Not great but expensive... this cat. 5 thinks its that...Nothing special about Grapevine, nothing special about the Vin. If you are a Jones you will love it. If you are looking for something special in a special area, this is not your place.
What a wonderful location!! Everything was amazing!! Cleanliness, service. and delicious breakfast!!! I will definitely be back!
Very modern hotel in the heart of Grapevine. Lots to do in the area and great food options inside the hotel and nearby.
Great place to hang out and eat. Live performances. Plethora of food choices. Train station vibes. There’s a lot this place has to offer. Would recommend a thousand times over.
I did not stay at the hotel or eat/drink there either. My rating is based on touring the ground-level lobby, the restaurant and lobby bar, a private dining room, as well as the long corridor which connects the hotel to Harvest Hall. My nephew and I went to Harvest Hall to enjoy an indoor lunch because of inclement weather. We both felt that the large atrium of the hall, with its towering ceiling, would be safer than a smaller, enclosed restaurant, as it provided plentiful indoor space/seating options for social distancing. After having lunch in the hall, we decided to take a look at the Hotel Vin. As mentioned, the hall and the hotel are connected by a long corridor that is beautifully decorated with artwork, polished concrete floors and modernist, overhead lighting. The hotel itself is amazingly stylish and has a lovely, intimate feeling. However it does not feel closed-in because of the wall of windows off the restaurant and lobby bar, which overlooks the hotels large outdoor grassy plaza with abundant seating. The outdoor seating plaza is adjacent to Grapevines vintage railroad cars and depot, which provides a special a backdrop which is also visible from inside the hotel in both the hotels restaurant Bacchus, as well as from the lobby bar. The vintage train offers three different excursions of different duration and destinations, depending on the day of the week. The Hotel Vin is part of Marriotts upscale, boutique Autograph Collection. The sleek and tastefully-modern hotel with friendly employees that we encountered, would stand up to any city in the world. I have traveled extensively, having been a meeting planner for over 30 years, so I can make this comparison accurately. Since I was not a guest, I did not have key card access to the elevators or any of the guest rooms, but the online pictures show that the guest room product is as stylish and tastefully-modern as the part of the hotel we saw. It also includes a good-sized workout room and a spacious roof-top deck/bar for casual lounging. As far as Harvest Hall, which is conveniently accessible to Hotel guests, the architecture and decor is a tribute to the glamorous days of vintage train travel. The hall offers four different restaurant options in the form of kiosks, where you place your order and get it on a tray to go, so that you can then pick your own place to sit within the generously-sized atrium. In addition, there is an intimate lounge/nightclub called the Third Rail connected to the hall, but separated from the hall by a wall of windows and large wooden doors, to keep the sounds of the lounge/nightclub separate from the sounds of the hall. Third Rail features a small, permanent stage where on various nights, entertainment options include live music or stand-up comedy. Third Rail has its own bar, and also features large windows to outside, on the side and front walls. Both the Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall are connected to a good-sized covered- parking garage that allows 90 minutes of free parking, and is only $1 per hour thereafter. No validation is required for the free 90 minutes of parking, so if you just want to go and take a look around, you can park in the garage without cost if you are there less than 90 minutes. The multi-use complex also includes office space and a tall observation tower, and is located at the entrance to Grapevines historic Main Street District.
Beautiful hotel with high end finishes. Very nice bathroom, comfortable beds. Would stay again.
Veey nice hotel. Rooms have a refrigerator and coffee maker. Nice lounge chaise, and desk. Restaurants within the hotel. Good location right by the train and main street.
The bar and restaurant staff seemed a little overwhelmed this past Saturday with the Main Street Festival crowd. They will have to get used to dealing with surges like that in Grapevine. Overall though the place is fantastic.
This is fantastic venue. I travel frequently and have stayed a many Autograph Collection hotels, Hotel Vin is at the top of my list. My suite was amazing with great views of downtown Grapevine. The bathroom was huge with duel vanity, large shower and multiple seating areas. Id also give the kitchen five stars. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner to try the menu out and everything was on point. I highly recommend staying here. Great location with great accommodations. Im excited to come back when the Food Halls opens which will bring the experience to a whole other level.
Beautiful hotel. The train announcement all night long made it very difficult to sleep in that beautiful room.
I was fortunate enough to be invited to the opening weekend and was blown away with the kindness of the staff as well as the quality of the accommodations. For a premier hotel, these quality of life nuances might be expected, however, Hotel Vin proves itself to be so much more than merely a hotel. Resting adjacent to the Grapevine TexRail station, it is only a stop away from the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. This conveniently close proximity allows for a brief 5min. train ride from the airport to the hotel, which made my own arrival simple and free of stress.Featuring a full-service bar and restaurant with excellent food, they include their own unique twists on contemporary American fare. Walking through the Bacchus Kitchen & Bar, youll find a full astro-turf lawn with lounge chairs and table seating. This outdoor venue provides a bucolic view of the turn of the century train station, fronted by a garden of fresh herbs that sit beneath blown glass grapevines (I found they were courtesy of Vetro glassblowing studio around the corner, thumbs up for supporting local business). In the evening on the green you may be treated to music from their outdoor stage; I was lucky to be present for a Beatles tribute band.Taking a tour of the facility, I found the 4th floor conference rooms, which provide a refined space for large social gatherings (100ish people) and grant a complete view of downtown grapevine, which at night is truly stunning as no buildings stand taller. I was also shown their next generation food-hall (under-construction), that will contain LatinX, Mediterranean, Italian, Vietnamese and American food. Accompanying these kitchens will be a jazz lounge and public meeting rooms on the upper floors that can be reserved through the city. As a foodie I can’t wait to return and try these curated selections once they are fully operational.Hotel Vin truly presents itself as an all-encompassing experience and I have no doubt will become a landmark establishment in Grapevine
Very cool hotel. Dinner at Baccus was great and the Harvest Hall section is awesome. We will definitely return. The combination of the hotel attached to Harvest Hall is unique and really made us feel like we were on vacation instead of getting away for the night.
It is amazing. Great location. Amazing staff. The outdoor venue, live eclectic music - it’s the greatest new location to experience over and over again. The decor and attention to detail comes from the heart. This place is unique, beautiful with a positive upbeat vibe! With all that is going on around us - we deserve Hotel Vin. The best part is you can experience it over and over again.
We had dinner with friends at the hotels Bacchus Kitchen and Bar. The food across all six of us was good with a couple of menu items out of stock. The atmosphere is the real star of the place with a cool lobby bar feel. Cocktails were on the weak side for the price charged and didnt seem to have much alcohol in them. Overall it is a good restaurant option in Grapevine, but not at the same level as Bobs restaurant group just down Main St (Bobs Steakhouse, Winewood, Mi Dia, Fireside)
Cool place to hang out and watch the trains pass by and eat some good grub.
The Hotel Vin made every moment matter at our private holiday affair. They hosted a flawless event in their sophisticated venue space. We enjoyed the chic styled accommodations and signature amenities throughout the hotel.I would like to personally thank Cathy Doyle the Director of Sales, Eddie our Catering Manager, the Audio / Visual contact and all the staff that worked behind the scenes to make it a magical evening for our guests. If you are ever in the Grapevine, TX area stop by the Marriott Autograph Collection brand it sits in the heart of the Christmas Capital of Texas, it’s a must see.
Really amazing. We were stranded here during the ice storm of 21. Service was the best even without hotel power. They made accommodations for food and beverage. Staff stayed at hotel 24hr/day. The GM was/is fantastic
Great customer service. Loved the Larry Lampkin band he was excellent
The front desk staff is incredible!! They took care of all our requests and were so friendly!!!
Very nice hotel. Nice quite rooms. The food court is interesting. Parking is a little expensive,
Great place to stay. This hotel is really nice. The food was great and the rooms were so nice. Definitely a romantic hotel to stay at and so close to down town.
Rooms are great. Dinner is good - drinks are good. Breakfast is terrible. We had breakfast one morning and brunch another and both were awful! Between flavors and execution. Hope they improve because location is amazing too.
Upper class in vintage old town grapevine. Back of hotel has nice scenery of vintage train station.
Beautiful hotel. Once again the Marriott never disappoints. The location is perfect to walk around the shops and restaurants. The hotel bar is beautiful and the staff is amazing.
Elegant. Sophisticated. Opulent. Excellent red wines. Pleasant staff. Delicious small plate snacks. Beautiful views inside and outside garden. Personable and professional bartenders and wait staff. Terrific music. 🎶💃🕺Enjoyable clientele🥳 🥂🍾
Luxury at its finest. The attention to detail is wonderful.
Not one bite disappointed, and the Helen of Troy added a fantastic touch to my meal.
Beautiful rooms, great vibes & ambiance. Not too impressed with the igloo set up ...Could not get reservations for dinner at the restaurant downstairs.... I would suggest booking a week ahead.
Its nice. Service is slow and its a little noisy
Very disappointed with live music at bar. Couldnt understand a word of band because they had mask on. Work in Healthcare and understand social distancing. Pre Valentines night and band socks. If you are so concerned then dont play live music. Please dont schedule this band again.
Nice new hotel in a great location. Rooms are nice (standard us hotel rooms) good size shower but with a shower head pointing in the wrong dire🤔 restaurant is not the best, trying to be too fancy but not successful. For a longer stay you’ll quickly run out of options on the menu.
Be sure to include this beautiful hotel at the top of your Stay List. Welcoming staff, great food, engaging music and walking distance to numerous wine bars. Enjoy your stay!!!
Great new hotel. Rooms are really nice. Suites are huge. Bar and restaurant are fantastic. Location is perfect. A huge surprise.
Love hotels and pretty room number of me love
Ate at Bacchus. Had the Salad of the Gods! One of the best salads ever. Absolutely Delicious!!!!!!!!!
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had lunch at the Bacchus Kitchen + Bar and it was delicious. I loved the burger and highly recommend ordering the beignets. We took the train right from the hotel to the DFW airport.
Wonderful, convenient, all the details and comforts you would expect and desire.
Clean amenities, friendly staff, and very convenient location.
A cornucopia of epicurean delights wrapped in a myriad of exhilarating venues. Check it out
This is my new hotel choice for a staycation.
Rooms were small, overpriced but quite clean. Hotel restaurant was absolute one of the poorest in all of Dallas. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
It was a rough opening weekend. Staff was nice however management was not prepared for the crowd. Drinks were decent but slow to get. Food took 2 hrs to deliver. The three steaks had been under a heat lamp for a while, the plates were hot and the steaks lukewarm. The green beans were nice. Overall a solid D- rating. I expect a few glitches opening weekend but these were the worst I have seen.
Great staycation with friends. Hotel is beautiful with tons of eating options.
Classic style lettering in a modern fashion.
Such a lovely stay. Clean, modern rooms and not too packed! Quiet rooms!
Very nice new downtown hotel next to train station. Bar and restaurant in lobby has nice views and good food and drinks.
Gorgeous luxury hotel with major city vibes in Grapevine. We met the owner opening weekend and he and his wife were such sweet people. Our room was swoon worthy, cant wait to be back!
Great food venue and a great hotel.
We celebrated my wifes birthday this past weekend, and we were impressed with all of the detail in the in and around the hotel. The building is absolutely gorgeous, and I highly recommend to all fellow Grapevine lovers! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - Mariah at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to talk with. Only thing that I was not impressed with were the beds - expect a Marriott Category 5 hotel to have more comfortable beds. Other than the beds, I rate this 5 star. I will be back and I will bring friends for the expererience!
Beautiful hotel with a lovely ambiance. The drinks were also delicious! Im looking forward to going back again.
Called about reservations, since I have a Medical exemption from my Doctor not to wear a mask. they said Even though I have an exemption, I could not enter without a mask. I will find another Hotel.
Great hotel with excellent service and better location. Walking distance to downtown Grapevine.
We stayed 2 nights in room 502 for a staycation. Im a platinum elite member, and we booked these with free night awards. Upon arrival, check-in was quick, and I was offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco. I was offered a $10 F&B credit or 1,000 points as my elite gift. Sadly, no upgrade. We did get a coupon for free continental breakfast for both days, which we didnt end up using (muffins, fruit, etc). The room was nice, clean and included a mini fridge and safe. The bathroom was good - standard amount of vanity space, larger than normal shower with good water pressure. The only negative was it had a sliding door (similar to a barn door), so it didnt shut all the way - bad for privacy, and because of that, even with it shut, you couldnt get the room steamy with the shower on. The TV was OK. However, when you accessed the guide, every channel (for our entire stay) said To Be Announced. It took some hard work, but my husband did find a way to jailbreak the TV to get our Roku to play through it. We had to get batteries from the front desk for the remote, and when I told him why, that was the only time I felt any negative juju from a staff member. No pay-per-view to order movies, or wed have done that and spent more $$$! Bacchus bar area was packed both nights. Good espresso martinis, husband liked the old fashioned (guess they fixed the cherry issue mentioned in other reviews). We got a table and ate at Bacchus one night. The table was right next to the patio door, and even though it was in the 30s, there was a large table outside, so we were blasted with cold air every time someone went in/out, unfortunately. We had Bacchus bread at the bar, which was good but nothing spectacular. At the table, we had the meatball appetizer, Pasta Bolognese, & the Filet. All 3 were excellent. The Filet was on par with what youd expect from a high end steakhouse. Service was good as well. Only had an empty drink once, and admittedly, I drink them faster than most. Theres a secret bar on the 4th floor, which we only realized when we saw a staff member getting off of the elevator on the 4th floor, and later went to investigate. Its got a couple of indoor lounge sections, and the rest of the seating is outside on the rooftop patio. It had heaters, more lounge areas, and igloos. Upon inquiring, we were told the igloos must be reserved in advance and have a fee but come with a bottle of wine & charcuterie board. Well definitely be back once Harvest Hall opens.
Very Nice Hotel. Great location, walking distance to Grapevines Main street. Nice resteraunt.
Restaurant was awful room service food bad cold hotel is great people great overall only so so
This place is absolutely beautiful and the outdoor patio is amazing. Wonderful friendly staff. Cant wait to go back.
Stayed for a night over opening weekend and was blown away. They thought of everything. Room was super comfortable. Incredible experience.
Excellent meal, was hoping for jazz music, but music was in another room.
Clean. Great inveriment.
Beds are way too hard and uncomfortable! Valet parking is ridiculous expensive! The hotel itself is beautiful though.
Great staff, great master planned development from the City, Airport and surrounding municipalities.
Great place to meet friends!
A beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Grapevine. Great bar area and private wine room with a floor to ceiling wine display!
Only visited the lounge area. Great atmosphere and service.
What a beautiful addition to Grapevine!
This new hotel is located next to the TexRail Grapevine Station. Live entertainment in outdoor area. Beautiful decor.
Really nice place. Its going to be a gem for grapevine. Another grapevine masterpiece.
Excited to check out Grapevines newest star. Gorgeous facade with fun atmosphere.
