This is a GREAT mechanic. Joe works hard to identify the problem and then to keep the price as low as possible. He is also a family man who puts his family first. Ive taken my truck there twice and was very impressed with his work. He is now my mechanic.

The owner was super. Came in under the estimate. Explained the work he did and showed me the parts. Fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend and Im sure we will have him do work for us again

Joe is a awesome person when it comes to cars. He will help you in any way he can. I think its great that he even has his kids helping him out. I like to see that kids are learning a great and useful trade.

Horrible service. Paid way more than told and they didnt do anything they replaced a part I didnt need and then didnt even finish wiring it up. YouTube is a better machanic.

Ever get the feeling that your getting shafted by corporate owned shops. Try this shop. Owner/technician has the ability to fix anything on four wheels.

I would give them a negative star. DROVE my car in for a thermostat change and left with my car having to be TOWED home. They called to inform me it was more then just a thermostat so I’m good faith i said fix what needs to be done. Not only did they have my car for an extended time & began working on it later then what they said they would. It snowballed effect to them not calling keeping me updated so I would pop up at the shop to be told that something went wrong but he didn’t know what. Not only are they NOT licensed to operate a business in Granite City but allow their underage uncertified son to work on cars as well. They tried offering to put a used motor in my car on their expense but I refused. My coworker trusted them with a used motor and the warranty they gave them but after a week when her check engine light came on they refuse to fix it bc it wasn’t their problem. They didn’t honor their warranty. They are untrustworthy and the wife has a NASTY attitude. I would NEVER in my life recommend anyone going to them. They couldn’t tell me what happened to my car so i don’t trust them to put a used motor in my car. Somewhere something went wrong and no one has an answer. Don’t go to them.

I would not even give them ONE STAR REALLY. Had them put a engine in my truck. He said it would be 1week...it took over 3weeks and I constantly had to go to the shop bcuz they dont answer the phone. He got me a motor with a 6month warranty. One week after he put the engine in the check engine light came on and he said he didnt do it so he wasnt fixing it for free. His wife has a HORRIBLE attitude, they dont even have a license to run their shop anymore. I would never go back or recommend anyone else to eitherEdited: most definitely talking about the right place. It was under my husbands name. Not to mention the WACK job yal did to my friends car but thats not my place to speak on. Ill just be sure to let others know where NOT to go

When I first got my truck its old 02 lol called mr joe talked with took it in dropped it off called me with price i said wow😁 ok fix it. His wife was like really I been with them since. I do not let anyone else touch my baby but Mr. Joe. I tell everyone about them my kids and all. Prices are not🤯🤪😱 and they work with you and they are friendly 😀. Took my car there a month ago to have my starter replaced. Last week my fly wheel went out due to the old starter. I took my car back to them but couldnt get it done for a week so I picked up the car and took it to get done sooner. DRB was so petty they refused to warranty the starter which ended up being bad due to teeth missing on old fly wheel. I felt that was very unfair knowing I took it to them 1st but because its the only car I have I couldnt be without for a week. The wife has a horrible attitude and I will never return or recommend to anyone ever...I just bought a new starter less than 30 days ago I had the right for tge warrantied started I paid for it. If she wouldnt have told me it would take a week I would have gmhad them repair it. When he replaced my starter he should have noticed the bad fly wheel in the first place.
