This will be my first ever Google review ever but I had to let others know how great John at Imperial Computer Solutions is.I had a battery issue which caused my computer to crash. Initially, when I called on Friday at 2 I was told to drop it off Monday morning but when I informed John of my need to get my data off my computer for a work project he told me it was ok to drop it off that afternoon. I drove down there thinking I was only going to be dropping it off so it would get looked at first thing Monday but when I arrived John said he would take 10 minutes to try and figure it out. He ended up spending longer than 10 minutes on my issue and thankfully got my computer running temporarily without a battery so that I was able to attend to my work over the weekend. The new battery came in the following Tuesday and my computer is back and working like new.I cannot say how much I appreciate the fact that John was willing and able to fix my computer the same day. It is not an understatement to say that he turned one of the worst days I have had in a few years into a much better day. Took my laptop in after an upgrade fiasco to get a second opinion. Within a day had a response that the computer was dead as i suspected. I was then informed that I wouldnt need to pay anything as he was unable to resolve any issue for me. Spent the afternoon helping me look over some new laptop options as well as removing any resell-able parts from my laptop for me to sell/reuse at my discretion. Apparently i still owe nothing. I work at home almost exclusively on my laptop computer. Over the weekend the computer stopped working so I brought it into John at Imperial Computer Solutions and explained my dilemma. He looked at it right away and diagnosed a corrupt hard drive. By the next day he had installed a new solid state hard drive and got the computer working again. He stayed late to help me recover the software necessary to me to be able to complete my work and it is up and running faster than ever! I was very impressed with Johns service and expertise with computers. I came in with hard drive issues (my computer was very slow). John put in a new SSD hard drive and now it responds more quickly than when it was brand new. It took a day to transfer the data and replace the hard drive and the service was very affordable. I will be bringing any future computer issues to Imperial and will be recommending it to family and friends. John was very personable and willing to explain and share his knowledge.

The charger for my laptop died and I needed to find out if the problem was with the computer or the charging cord. John had a like cord for my laptop and plugged it in to test my laptop. It turned out the issue was the cord and he directed me toward the easiest way to purchase a new cord online. I went here for a broken laptop backing and the staff was so kind and helpful. They took their time explaining different possibilities to fix the problem and were very honest about the pros and cons of each option. I Wouldn’t trust my pc with anybody else! With COVID and everybody on top getting new builds or if you need help with older builds this is the best place to take your pc or parts for your future pc. I’m a reoccurring customer at Imperial Computer Solutions and I’m always left with my questions answered, my computer fixed and a great customer service experience. We’ve put in a new hard drive, refurbished a toddler-torn computer and had questions answered on data storage. The other day I stopped in with a question, John suggested a solution (an external hard drive housing to make an old hard drive more accessible) and even found the product for me on Amazon. I bought it for under $20 from Amazon and John told me to stop back in when it arrived and he would put it together. Done and done. You can’t beat these guys!
