First time at Judes, this place is super eclectic...music and art (graffiti) everywhere! So service.. Ms. A in the 2nd Chair ( thats the name Im giving her) is a phenomenal barber/hairstylist!! Shes personable--funny--calm--professional, you get it!!

This place has an awesome positive vibe to it. Lauren is amazing at what she does. Friendly and extremely talented. I am picky about who cuts my beard but i feel comfortable letting her do her thing. Thanks for being so awesome Lauren 👌

Lauren did an absolute fantastic job on my hair! She made me feel very welcomed and made my hair look absolutely perfect! Definitely found my new hair stylist! I had a wonderful time sitting and chatting with her while she was working. I’ll most definitely be coming back to this location every time! The store was really clean and smelled really nice! I highly recommend people stop into here and get your hair done!

Almost everytime I go to this location, I make sure I schedule with Taylor. She’s very polite. Always understanding if I’m running five minutes late. And still gives me a superb haircut regardless of how busy she has been or is about to be! And I’m one who has had barbers to go to for two to three years, and have trouble going back to them with how well a job Taylor does with my hair and beard.

So I edited my review of this place. Not because the haircuts are as much as a monthly cell phone bill. Not because the one time I got a straight razor shave they cut me. I changed my rating of this establishment because I stopped there today at 5:05 to see if I could get a haircut. I walked in and there were 3 employees in the building and ZERO customers. I was told they only had two openings for haircuts 5:45 (no shampoo, no wash)and 8:00. Puzzled I said your kidding right? NO I am serious the girl said. The other two have appointments coming in soon and I am actually off. I dont understand how turning away a paying customer, to roll the dice on some online appointment is a good business model for success. All I know is my time is important. Regardless of the schedule I was there in person ready to give you money and was turned away without a customer in the building. Ive decided to hold retail responsible. I am sick of mediocre service and companies not valuing MY TIME. So I wont be using you anymore, and if you reading this I would advise you not to also. Shoot 2 of these haircuts and you could lease a new equinox.

Visit Taylor! Shes been my barber for years and shes amazing! Top notch service and an excellent barber! I live 200 feet from another Judes, but I drive past another just to go see Taylor!

Got my hopes up i thought the people working would be nice and talk to me but no, paid 56$ for 2 haircuts and charged extra just to straight shave the back of my neck. And couldnt even do my face for no reason or anything extra. Overall it was comfortable and they do it a lot better then most places around and its not a bad price just wish theyd accommodate more and not be in such a rush when I have questions about my style. Like I showed them a picture and they just did it there way and didnt really listen to what I wanted fully because they were rushing me for money. Might go back again in the future and hope I have someone else who will talk to me and actually get the job done write and make it comfortable

I have been getting my hair cut here for years and never got a bad haircut. I also love the shampoo, shoulder massage and neck shave I get with the Judes cut. An affordable treat that I look forward to.

UPDATE: Judes ended up crediting my account for a full haircut, we went back today, but this time to Andi at the Celebration Cinema location. We brought in a picture of the design, she did it exactly like the photo. Thanks Andi, you did a great job. We will be back!Original post: First haircut here, last haircut here. My 13 year old son wanted a design in his hair, soI tried to make sure we had a good experience here. I called the central phone number to see who I should schedule with that was used to cutting African American hair and was able to do a design in the hair as well. They communicated with the store and told me that every stylist there was comfortable with that, so I scheduled it.We showed up on time for our appointment, but were given a stylist that we did not schedule. The roads were a bit slippery, and I had been told all were capable, so no big deal. I showed the picture of the cut and design we wanted, was told she could do that. Nope, she couldnt. I will post pictures of I am able, first photo is the one we brought, second is what she did.I called the office to complain, and sent the pictures. They credited my account for the design, actually have me credit for two designs ($14), but would not give me credit for the haircut since the haircut was fine, but the design was not. So, I checked my receipt to make sure... I paid $32 for a wrong haircut, and they think I should be happy and come back because they credited my account $14??? No thanks, Judes, Ill go find another barber!

Haircut turned out well, but the cattiness of the employees and badmouthing of customers and fellow employees/former employees was a huge turnoff.

They were very nice and thorough. Easy to talk to.

Pretty good place, I got a regular mens haircut for $22 and the stylist was friendly and did a great job.

Liz took care of me on 2/28 and I can not say enough amazing things about her. I came in looking like the caveman off the old geico commercials. Now I leave up out there bald faded and looking like G-Easy. Amazing facility and even more amazing employees. Chi town is worse off for you leaving Liz. Thanks again. And my wife loves it.

LOVE Judes Barbershop. My husband recommended them because I wanted lines and a very short haircut. I have to say, at first I was a little nervous going to a barbershop that is geared towards guys, but Ellie and other staff have always made me feel welcome! Ellie is very personable and does a great job! Not only to I love me haircut, but I leave relaxed and refreshed!

For the past 3 years my son and I have been on a quest to visit every Judes Barbershop in Michigan and were happy to say that we completed it and discovered that there are great people at every location and they all provide great service, but...Were so happy to be back to our favorite location, East Beltline. Its our home location, just a few minutes from the house. Today we were finally able to get back home and Nichole did a great job with my haircut and we had a great conversation to boot.I think its true that theres no place like home.

It was my first time at Judes and i will never go anywhere else from now on. The new girl Kaylee did an amazing job for only being there a few days. I think i found my new barber. Very impressed with the service. The girl training Kaylee name was Ashley and she was an amazing trainer. Best haircut ive had in a very long time.

Friendly place and a short wait as I was a walk in customer. I got the hair cut I wanted and trimmed up beard and mustache. It was a bit pricey however at 24 dollars and Im bald so there was no difficult cut.

Went to get my undercut fixed up. Faded it like the back of a guys head. Not horrible but not what i wanted. Wasnt offered a mirror to see back where I could have asked for improvement either.

You can get an excellent haircut at Judes. I walked in and had no wait about 45 minutes before they were to close. My stylist was thorough and did a great job. It is expensive, which is why I give Judes four stars instead of five.

I walked in feeling alive but a little shaggy and left feeling confused, frustrated and a feeling of emptyness I have never felt before. I cried immediately after I left and I havent stopped. I am now questioning my own self worth because everyone around me is asking what happened to me. When asked what haircut I wanted I asked for a little but off the top but not too much because I want to style it and what a received is nothing short of A travesty. Before this catastrophic event I wanted nothing more then to meet Johnny Depp as Edward scissorhands but now Im not so sure. If you value your self confidence and your self worth steer clear of Judes. thanks

I have been a Judes customer for many years. The East Beltime location is not close to where I reside however I drive the extra miles for the fantastic service. The store is always clean and tidy and the staff professional. The Manager Ellie Newsome is not only gifted at her craft she manages her team very well. She has been sorely missed due to her recent injury and I know speaking for myself and other customers look very much forward to her return.

I used to love coming her 10 years ago. Moved back to MI and now Judes is just horrible. Sorry to see it go this way.

This place is a joke and that goes for the company as a whole. You allow your best stylist to be fired because the manager is insecure about herself, way to go Judes. I never knew feeling threatened by someone being better than you was cause to be fired. Im sure Gia will be much better off out of that petty place. Shes at Sport Clips of Celedonia if anyone is wondering.

April does not cut hair. She does art on humans lines are so beautiful and I have never been so happy with a hair cut.

I went to your Judes in the celebration ciema north. Not one customer in the place, at got there at 4:15, the lasy told me they had a 4:30. They told me they can get me in at 5:30. I have been outside waiting for my movie and still there are styleist still standing around.... i wont be back to this judes ever again. It wasnt like this when Amanda managed this location. Might as well rename this location as Lady Janes North....
