I have visited 4 Planet Fitness gyms in Colorado and 2 in Washington. Never had a bad experience. Everyone is clean with great equipment and staff. Having said that Grand Junction is my very favorite! The guys on weekday morning shift are awesome friendly and motivating. The ladies on the weekend mornings the same and always happy to help! Sorry I dont remember everyones name but havent met any staffer that didnt provide excellent customer service and with a smile. In addition they all work hard to provide members with a clean, safe, and functioning gym. Love this place!

This place is the best! It is clean, has all the equipment I need and then some, and the whole staff are very welcoming making coming into to exercise comfortable and enjoyable. RJ encouraged me to try one of his classes and I am really glad I joined in because he made it a really fun challenge according to my own personal level, adding in workouts I wouldnt have been motivated to try on my own. My day is made better when I come in to this gym!

Massive gym with many cardio and weight machines. Free weights too. Friendly staff and helpful. Can be a little intimidating the first time you step in there due to the size. Machines have helpful diagrams on them showing you how to use them. Very inexpensive memberships.Very clean facility.

Driving cross country this was by far the best customer service I received. Jake and his partner at the desk slim blond female. Were both more than helpful.She helped my gf, while Jake helped me look up our out of state accounts and get us situated for the massage chairs. Thank you and really appreciate the extra effort given by these 2.

My daughter and I went in to get her new identification card. She was informed she had an outstanding balance. Told her the balance had been turned over to collection. Gave us a phone number to deal with the outstanding balance she was told she owed. She called the number given and was told the individual club was where she needed to get the issue resolved. Personally, I would not trust a company to have access to my bank account to debit my membership fee if they have no idea who to refer her to for resolution of a balance that she was never notified by email, telephone or snail mail, especially since all contact info had not changed. They did remove late fees, but gave her a ridiculous reason why she should still pay what was owed because she signed a contract. They violated the contract by failing to communicate with her when the funds were originally owed.The response I received leaves readers with the idea that I am an active member. I am not nor will I ever be an active member because of this incident.

This planet fitness is awesome! Everything is always clean and the staff members are very friendly. I recommend signing up for the sessions with RJ, he is super knowledgeable and fun to workout with! Also, his sessions are challenging and well designed.

Jake, Cole, and James are amazing, they make sure to make everyone feel welcome as they walk on. They all know most by their names.They are always on good moods and just make coming to the gym something you want to do everyday.Great staff to have great customer service skills.They all push me to push harder here and I love that.Victoria is great as well always so helpful

Very clean facility and friendly staff. Free class offering is robust. Couldnt be more pleased. Oh, and no contracts and a modest monthly price. Awesome.

My girlfriend and I have taken several classes from the trainer RJ and I have to say there is no one who has pushed us to our max more than him. I really appreciate him because he is always in an upbeat mood and knows exactly how to hype you up. Not to mention he is hilarious and never fails to make us laugh. This is a great gym to go to, every morning Im greeted by the morning crew of James, Cole, and Jake! They have the most welcoming smiles, and the best personalities! They all remember my name which always makes you feel good and make you feel like family!

I am pleased with this establishment. The friendliness of the staff, The ease of using the equipment, the overall demure of the whole facility.. Jake reiterated that for me today when I had an issue and he happily solved it for me I was very appreciative. I am happy with the switch I made.

Visiting Grand Junction for the week, and needed some gym time. Great PF here… well laid out, clean, great staff.

Very clean gym! Had a great experience there. the staff there is super kind and polite especially this one I meet named Trinidy I believe, she helped me out with my account and made me feel welcomed. I would recommend this gym to everyone I know!

Clean gym with plenty of machines. No racks, so your lifting options are limited. I dont like how I would feel judged for letting out a grunt for lifting heavy. Its a good place for beginner lifters but wouldnt recommend for anything past that.

Been coming here for six months, it is extremely clean. The staff is amazing, especially Jake. I was shocked when he remembered my name, and is always encouraging. I have never been to a gym where I didn’t feel judged, by anyone, patrons or staff until Planet Fitness.

I went to planet fitness with a friend and tried the core workout taught by RJ. I like RJs ability to encourage people. He is friendly and understanding and is able to show how to do modifications if needed. You can tell RJ has a heart for people and helping them to attain there goals. Cant wait for another class with RJ in the future.

This business is clean and the trainer RJ is awesome! His classes can be challenging, but he is encouraging and makes each class unique and tailored to what you can physically do.

This is a great gym with more than enough equipment. Always a friendly welcome when entering and a warm farewell when leaving. A good majority of the time the staff is cleaning making sure the area is safe for all. Keep up the great work and thank you for the efforts!

Came at night and the staff was absolutely incredible! Very kind, helpful, and informative! Young woman working was friendly and made us feel right at home! Other guy working and manager did a great job cleaning up the locker rooms and kept the place in tip top shape!

This planet fitness is great! The front desk employee, Trinidy, was extremely kind and helpful when I was signing up for my membership and every time I come in!

When we joined some time ago shortly after this opened, it was my first experience with a Planet Fitness location. I admit, on web searches of general reviews, this chain does not always come out looking very good. But, since they are franchises, we decided to give it a shot since individual owners can make a huge difference. We have not regretting joining at any point. The facility is kept scrupulously clean, they hire friendly helpful people, and equipment is rarely down for long. Its frequently quite busy because its a good facility, but theres a lot of options. Parking is never an issue. We are extremely happy to see this reopen after Covid-19, and look forward to being members for many more years. My husband has a regular membership, but I have the black card. Which I highly recommend! Massage chairs, tanning, etc., the perks of the black card are extremely reasonably priced and who doesnt like a nice hydro massage after a workout??

I absolutely love planet fitness. Their hours are reasonable and accommodating for everyone. Its always clean and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Overnight staff and first morning staff are my FAVEEEEEE. always so helpful and kind. Answer questions thoroughly, and NEVER condescending. Love it.

What a superb fitness center. Truly the crème de la crème of facilities, and outstanding customer service only possibly bested by the personnel of Chick-fil-a or debatably Disney. With the interestingly stark color contrasts mixed with the well hired talent of the employees one cannot but help feel energized and motivated to workout. Who needs pre-workouts when Trinidy and Nadia are there to greet you at the check-in. If Michelin Stars would be given to franchise gyms.... This location with would have 5. Gordon Ramsey would be proud. Solid gym.

Ive been to a dozen Planet Fitness locations. This one is above average. Spacious. Clean restroom/locker rooms. Well maintained machines. Not too busy during my Sunday morning visit.Unfortunately, the chain has earned a reputation for NOT being customer service oriented. Its disappointing to read other reviewer experiences here with fraud and difficulty in getting resolution. Be aware of what youre getting involved with before purchasing a membership. The company has grown too big to care about you, and their phylosophy is that simply being big, national and well equipped is all that matters. This will be their downfall over time.

As much as I like the facility, the manager was very unprofessional handling a mistake by an employee that cost me money. I went in to cancel my account after 2 weeks because I just wasnt going to make it in there and somehow my old account got re-cancelled, so I ended up getting charged for 2 more months and the annual fee that this employee told me I wouldnt end up being charged for. So I went and asked for a refund and the manager avoided the problem like a pro and Im out $59 for a 2 week membership I didnt end up using at all. I was even willing to pay the first month because I did sign up after all.

They r a great place but they didnt know anything about if u have Medicare if ur membership is lower or free

2nd workout session with R.J the new trainer in Grand Junction and it was better than the first. I really feel like I have done workout when he finishes with me. Does not let me slack off. I am really loving having classes back.and R.J is the greatest. He is gonna get tired of seeing me :)

Come here if you like grtting late fees 1 day after you sign up, horrible customer service, they wont use uour payments so they can charge you extra fees. If you start on certain days they will charge you late fees too.

Close to home and everything I need to exercise. Just love Planet Fitness.

Im happy that theres a Planet Fitness in town. I enjoy the environment with new equipment and the spa machines. Other gym-goers mind their own business and dont seem judgmental and almost all of them clean the machines when they finish using them. Some of the employees arent as nice as others, but thats normal in a business. Overall, I enjoy going to the gym now.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The owner is Robbie Wright, he is not an honest person. He has charged members annual fees instead of monthly memberships, an annual is $40 a monthly is $10 and he claims it will be or has been taken care of when in fact it has not. Months later, still no refund and he says he is not going to do anything else. If youre a member here, check your bank statements, even the club manager was fired for trying to take care of the customers.

My 2 sons canceled their memberships on the same day and Planet fitness only canceled one, 15 days after we requested cancelation AND they never canceled my other sons membership at all. So they managed to get payment for BOTH plans last month and payment for one plan this month, and refused to refund our money. poor customer service.I am familiar with your cancelation policy but its the fact they did not get canceled when they were supposed to that is the problem. They should have gotten canceled Dec, before the premiums were deducted from their accounts, NOT Jan16 after more payments were deducted. You should be refunding me 4 payments you should never have taken. Emailing the manager wont help when he is the one who told me I was screwed. Even business have lost their morals. Seriously sad and to be clear, they went in person to cancel. I took them, this as your employees mistake you should honor...

One of the worst planet fitness gyms I have ever been to... The female bathroom is always nasty 🤢 not to mention they are always out of soap and hand sanitizer. They are also the only gym in Mesa County who makes you wear a mask at all times including while doing high intensity cardio. Does your company want to give people a heart attack? Also consider hiring people with a fitness background, not a incompetent college student, thanks!

My account was set up incorrectly and I was charged a late fee on my first auto billing. When I pointed out it was their mistake they said they couldn’t refund the late fee. The manager couldn’t be bothered with calling me after several calls to him to correct it.

Before covid.... 5 stars. Everything I needed. Now 2 at best. A number of us are wearing a mask out of respect for others (as well as to protect them). But it seems that once you make it past the door you don’t have to follow the rules. My safety is definitely not a priority here as only half the folks are wearing a mask. A number of them don’t even have a mask on their person. I will amend this if and when the staff take this seriously. Believe it. Don’t believe it. Doesn’t matter. Show some respect members. Do your job staff.

My husband came in today to work out I often come in and work out with my husband he had a trainer come up to him in the middle of his work out while others were around asking him if he was taking pictures of other people made him feel so horribly bad this was completely unprofessional did he come up to him for the way he looks because he has tattoos that is stereo type this has been the first time he has ever felt so humiliated he walked out

Based off my first visit I was very excited to join. Plenty of cardio equipment, everyone seemed polite. And from experiences elsewhere it is a fresh of breath air to not feel over crowded while working out. Never been a loud lifter so the not slamming stuff doesnt bother me at all. The black card perks are pretty nice, hydro massage chairs and tanning included with it. Very affordable as well. Would recommend anyone to give this gym a try !

I got here everyday in the weekday and sometimes the weekends. They have free wifi so you can watch anything there without using mobile data. The atmosphere there is so good and calm. They have all kinds of machines to workout any part of your body that you want! Highly recommend
