Not sure what is up with all of the bad reviews, picked up my car on Friday in minimum time and dropped it off at 0-dark-thirty Sunday morning - no issues at all.
Horrible service. My insurance made a reservation for me and told me I could pick up my rental car today. I called in advance to tell them I was coming. They said they don’t have any reservation under my name but could get me in on Thursday. I told them I would look around. I later called back with my claim number and everything and Joel laughed at me.I honestly don’t complain that often but being laughed at after telling him I needed a car because I have a business and I need transportation is ridiculous.
I would give them 0 stars if I could.These people are very unprofessional. We reserved a car weeks in advance. We had the confirmation print out on hand along with two valid forms of ID and a flight itinerary - as noted in the reservation confirmation document since we were using a company debit card for the rental (which was used to hold the reservation).They refused us a car and said that they dont have to follow the corporate policies since they are a franchise location. The attendant at the desk was also very rude. Weve flown into Grand Forks many times and have NEVER had this bad of an experience with a rental car company.Our CEO ended up using a personal card so that he was not late to a meeting. We will never use Hertz again as we cannot afford for our CEO to be late to important meetings due to this kind of unprofessional and horrible customer service.DO NOT use this Hertz location for your reservations. Definitely go with Enterprise or Avis.
Just like in another Google review, I was charged mileage not mentioned. Joel, Grand Forks Hertz manager, has been reluctant in explaining any of the arbitrary charges to me and did not supply me a receipt when requested. I called the corporate office and they created a case to investigate the matter. I have never had issues with Hertz in the past, but I believe this branch is an outlier to my overall experience with Hertz as a company. The Grand Forks Hertz branch needs to be reviewed by the corporate office overall in my opinion.
Terrible service! The I my reason I was using them was because this is the company that my car insurance uses. Biggest mistake. So I called to set up an appointment and was spoken to by a rude lady that said she couldnt help me but somebody would call me. Nobody ever did. So I kept calling and calling. Nobody has ever answered. According to the hours online they should be open. Apparently people have better things to do then their jobs. It is now the day before my car should be fixed. Again says the store is open and I have called TEN TIMES and left TWO voicemails. Still nobody is getting back to me. Dont know what I am going to do for a rental now. This place is unbelievable. I cant believe they are still in business this is unreal. Never in a million years would I ever even consider renting a car from this place!! To bad I cant give them 0 stars! Take your business somewhere else people!
The only reason they got two stars and not just one is because Jenny here tries so hard to do the right thing. The company is not set up to allow her to do so. I have rented from these guys twice in the last four weeks. Both times I was charged mileage not mentioned when I picked the car up, and was told that because of the way I booked (online) they couldnt fix it. Joel was called on the phone EIGHT times by his counter staff one time I was there (a group from Texas was also having problems with their Hertz rental) and he never came to the counter. I rented from National that day and I will continue to do so as long as I am coming to Grand Forks for work.
Tired to rent a car for a day. Lady was very rude and couldnt answer any questions. I then ask to speak with someone that could asnwer. She just hung up. Will never rent a car form Hertz. They are horrible company plus seem they out sources their call center to Indian. Dont support this greedy company.
Called two weeks ago for a car rental day before oh um no rental available maybe you should hire someone with a clue on how to schedule a appointment and confirm with a email.
Closed early even though I already made a reservation, couldnt get a hold of anyone that works there. Absolutely terrible service, will never use them again.
