Great service, awesome work, and they talk with you, not just to you. And you cant beat the price! For body or mechanical.
I cannot account for Rosstens mechanical ability, but I can certainly account for their body work, if that is what you call it. Unfortunately, I have to give it a one star, though it deserves 0.I brought my truck into Rosstens for an estimate. The first estimate was for around $1100. Ross said that he would paint and blend the needed spots and clear the entire hood and passenger fender for $750 and provide a loaner car. Thought that was a good deal. Man was I wrong. When I brought my truck in, I stepped into the loaner car. It was very hot, but I had to open the windows, because it stunk like stale smoke so bad, with cigarette holes all over the seat. Anyway, the loaner was not the issue. The issue was the very poor job that they did on my truck. I could have painted and clear coated better than that outside, in a dust storm! There was so much dust in the clear coat and paint, that you could have grown a garden on it, not to mention obvious runs also! My brand new bug deflector, which Ross initially stated could be taken off and put back on, without damage, was scratched up everywhere, like it had been kicked around on the floor. They had done some buffing of the dust, but you could see primer spots under the clear and paint. When I confronted Ross about it, after we argued about this problem for about 30 minutes, he stated that we must have had a communication problem on what needed to be done. Ross agreed to take the truck in, buff the hood and fender again, especially the spots that I showed him and replace the bug deflector. I figured that I would give them another chance, being everyone makes a mistake, now and then. Owning up to the mistake is another issue....When I brought my truck in the second time, he was not there again, just like the first time. When I picked it up, apparently the tech had tried to buff the scratched up bug deflector. It still looked terrible. The hood looked buffed, but unfortunately, there were more flaws underneath the clear coat, most likely from removing some of the dust. Ross was, not there again. I asked his secretary to have him call me, because there was still major dust and a scratched up bug deflector. A few days went by with no call back, so I tried calling Ross. The secretary told me that they were finished working on my truck and if I wanted my bug deflector, I would have to come and get it, but they would not put it on for me. I paid for them to put it on for me! Once again, empty promises and terrible service! Is that what they call top-notch body work and service?Never again!! Pay the extra $ to get it done somewhere else correctly, the first time. They try to get you in and out as fast as they can, without the quality work that they promise to provide.I am writing this review, so others interested in going to Rosstens Collision and Repair, dont make the same mistake I did. This company, or at least who I talked with, are dishonest and full of excuses. Grand Forks does not need businesses like this! I now know why they do not get the business the other body shops in town get. I will chalk it up as a hard learning experience.
They performed an engine swap for me on my 2010 equinox. Did a great job.
