Best ever. Wouldnt let another mechanic touch my vehicle. Irvine is the greatest

This is a rare place. Old school master mechanic running his own shop out in the cut of Alamance Co. I mean, Ill turn wrenches on occasion for my own vehicles when I can, but Im not a mechanic. So when I ran across a problem with my truck that I wouldnt be able to tackle on my own, I went looking for a place nearby with a good reputation. Had heard good things in the village about Irving, but man oh man, his craftsmanship exceeds even what I was expecting from his reputation.Hes down to earth, honest, straight forward, and fair in his dealings. Most importantly: Hes a diagnostician. A real diagnostician. A lot of auto shops get by doing parts replacements without ever really sussing out whats wrong with your vehicle, but not Irving. Irving knows his trade more than just about any mechanic I think Ive ever met.Do yourself a favor. Take your car to him if its having issues. Dont forget to be patient: My repair took about a week to be completed, but it was a monster to tackle. But quality is worth the wait. The man even cleaned and adjusted the throttle on my truck because it was on the way to the part that needed to be replaced. It runs better than it did when I bought it a decade ago.Thanks Irving, well be back around to see you for the next one.

He has always been reasonably priced, given great service and with a great bedside manner.
