Told me I couldnt use a birthday coupon cause it wasnt the right location. Signed in on app 80 minutes before and in store a couple minutes before scheduled time. Was forced to wait out side because of no seating inside and did not check to see if I was the one they were calling for next (I was in sight from front desk, 2 feet from door). Had to wait an extra 25 minutes when I have somewhere to be.### Wouldnt let me comment after yours. Being under staffed is no excuse to not call on someone you cant find who is standing outside your door knowing you waiting room is full. I can understand the coupon and different owner situation. Realizing what it was for and making a better experience for me probably would have negated the troubles I went through and brought me back instead of traveling to rivers cause their owner and hairstyles give a better experience.

Came for my sons first haircut... The lady was very nice but completely butchered his hair. I also had to wait for about a half hr. He did move around some for the haircut but she even said multiple times that for his first haircut he did really well..mm I wished I would have paid more attention... His hair is way short on one side and looks terrible. I have me and his dads wedding wedding on may 22nd and he is the ring bearer. I really hope it grows out... It was a waste of money. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the lady was nice. Probably so overly nice because of her mess up!

Thought the cuts are always great. After the ladies get done they all disappear in the back room. This happened 3 times while I was there. Leaving patrons to wait longer than the board said. I watched multiple people leave and not come back in. Im not sure why this happened but. I know i waited 35 minutes on a 17 min wait time. While only seeing one cutter then the rest walked out did cuts and again went to the back room while one was cutting. So yes it was a good job on my hair but the employees just cost patrons time.

First time at this one so was expecting an average haircut from a sports clips. Tiara cut my hair and let me tell you how impressed I was. First time ever going to a franchise hair cut place where I’m actually in love with it.She was super personable and was really nice to have a conversation with. She has clients got a reason and absolutely killed it! Most people who give me a low skin fade take 5-10 minutes but she actually took her time to give me a god high quality cut.I live in beaufort but weekends I come to Charleston you best believe I’m going here to have Tiara cut my hair.

Made an appt for 12:34pm,June 29th,2021 for my son. Arrived 10 mins early. We where next for an appt. My name was next on the board, then it goes away. So I think Im next right? Nope. Another 20 mins and I see via text it canceled me out from my appt AFTER it said on the board we are next. I called as we got in the car. The lady was like its not our fault. I just wanted my 5 year old sons hair cut. Smh. We will not be back. Then reading reviews that a woman here was offering escort services?? Yeah, hard pass on this place.

I guess this place is OK if you show up 30-45 minutes after your check in. I dont understand the point of checking in online if you still have to wait forever

My husband took my son here today so they could both get cuts...my son is 7 and struggles with haircuts often due to sensory issues... My son just absolutely LOVED miss Amelia... My husband said she treated him so well, conversed with him just like she would have anyone else and was so patient with him...(Hes definitely a talker!) and he came home with an amazing cut! Andrew arrived home and says, Mom, she listened to me, and listened to me...and she was so nice! He is thrilled with his cut and says he definitely would want miss Amelia to cut his hair again... I dont think hes ever had such a good experience with a cut... Thank you so much miss Amelia for your time, patience, and kindness...we will most certainly be back!!

Worst hair cut in 74 years of life....never again

I visited Sport Clips in Goose creek today. I have been getting my hair cut by the same person for the last 15 years, but that was not an option this time. I was a little nervous about getting a haircut by someone new, but Thank You Lorena for giving me a great haircut and great service overall. I will be back.

Checked in online and arrived on time...got checked in again. Stylist we chose was not on station so we waited. We waited so long that the systems canceled our appointment. I asked what happened and where she was...she was in the back on her lunch break. So why was she available to be selected for a haircut? Since our names got canceled we left. What a waste of my time. Whats the point of making appointments? Why arent they designated as unavailable if theyre going to lunch? UNACCEPTABLE.UPDATE: Came back to try again this week and the same thing happened. Danielle is the problem. Apparently she thinks no one has valuable time but her. As the previous customer was checking out she said she knew she had one more customer (us) and then disappeared. We showed up on time and still waited 45 minutes until I finally changed to First Available.

OMG! First time ever being there, and I was BLOWN AWAY! I love how my barber paid attention to detail and the TLC from the shampooing and head massage. DEFINITELY GOING AGAIN!!!!

Let me start out by saying that I truly do enjoy the service I get from this location but one star because the men in front of me received 20 minute haircuts for $15 and I, as a woman, received a 7 minute trim for $25 (zero frills, blunt trim on short hair, I washed my own hair before going, no offer to style, didnt even part my hair). This is my third trip as a social experiment to make sure it wasnt a single incident. Ladies, its not ok to pay more just because youre a woman. If my hair were more complicated or took bettwr technique to cut, it would make sense that it would have taken longer to cut than the men in front of me, not the case. In fact, since I am a woman, I was charged more for less time and ultimately freed up the chair quicker than male clientele to make Sport Clips more money. Will find myself a stylist that charges based on time not gender pricing (and yes we all know that per social norms, women are overwhelmingly the majority with hair below the shoulders.

Poor service from the moment we stepped in the door. Had it not been that my husband needed a hair cut ASAP due to his fathers funeral we would have left. We were RUDELY greeted by Dani, by her yelling at me not to touch the sign in screen (because apparently her coworker didn’t do their job of putting a “cover paper back over the screen” ) which apparently is my fault. Next my husband had asked me to go inside with him to explain to the stylist how he wanted his hair cut, so when she told me to go out to the car to wait for him I mentioned that he had asked me to tell the stylist how to cut it so she said “go ahead” as I’m explaining it to her she stops me and says “why you just wait in the car and let me do my job” with a rude tone of voice. It took everything for me to go back to the car and not say something back to her. My husband lost his father 5 days ago and this is how you treat us. She then has the nerve after sitting my husband down to ask if I was his daughter, when obviously I’m not. I patiently sit in my car and wait for his cut to be over when I go inside to pay (he had left his wallet in the car) she charged him $25 for the MVP cut which clearly stated behind her was the sign saying MVP $20 and then she pre-added a $7 tip!! WITHOUT ASKING!!! Thankfully I went in and made sure the tip was removed because assuming after her extreme level of poor customer service she was getting a tip was wrong. If we could’ve not paid for the service that would’ve been even better.Might I add because my husband was distraught over her whole demeanor towards me and the loss of his father, his hair cut is completely wrong and obviously it can’t be fixed. Do yourself a favor and read all the other poor reviews and avoid this location and this stylist unless you want the same experience.

This my first time going to a Sports Clips to get my sons haircut. Amelia was great and made him feel comfortable being at a big boys haircut place. Check-in process was smooth and they had reasonable prices for a childs haircut. Definitely will go back.

This place is such a cluster. The stylists sit in the back and talk for 30 minutes not cutting anyones hair. They care more about socializing than actually doing their job.. They dont go by the list on the screen, they do whatever they want and dont seem to care the least about the customer. This used to be the only place I would go to get my hair cut; now its one place I will no longer visit. In the past year. This location has gone downhill, way downhill.

I have frequented this Sports Clips for a while now and have yet to have a bad experience until today. I checked in online and was 30 min early. I ended up staying in the waiting area for 30 min pass my time. Disappointing as i always enjoy my experience here and quite honestly i expected better since I know the stylists take a lot of pride in ensuring the experience is one of a kind every cut.

I was a long time regular @ this place and I’m finally giving my honest review. I only continued to be a regular because I liked a stylist @ this place. Cecilia was the regular stylist I saw. And occasionally saw Yuhong when Cecilia wasn’t there. Cecilia takes her time but talks a lot and steps away from haircut to check cell phone answer work phones and address other things In store. Doesn’t seem to make customer or client time a priority. Mrs. Yuhong on the other hand is very good at what she does. Very proper professional and gives amazing hair cuts and has great hospitality. I think hospitality is good in store but I also think that some stylists need to take Mrs. Yuhong’s approach and be more professional and keep the play and fun at home. My recommendation if you choose this store is to request Yuhong. For your haircut or product needs. She will give you an amazing cut and not play around during your session.

David was amazing! I checked in online and booked the first available who was a girl and she was honest and said she’s switching me To David because he’s awesome with long hair. She was so right! He took his time and made sure mhm hair was PERFECT. I will be going back right to him for my next trim.

It definitely had its pros and cons...-cons: long...I mean looong wait times, computer is always going down, when you come in to sign up as a walk in, you are handed a screen an told, sign in. Then they proceed to tell you about the 2, 3, or 4hr wait! Also, they have this thing called online sign in... people who are NOT EVEN there and sign into their online waiting list...those people are pushed in front of the line(including the walk ins that have been there, WAITING!!!) These online line jumpers also have AN HOUR to arrive after their notification that its their turn. Now, mind you..these are NOT appointments!!! The walk ins that actually showed up and waited patiently only have 15 MINUTES to show up if they decide to go walk around, shop, or eat while they wait... PATIENTLY!?!? I just dont understand the concept there...and the online sign in crashes your system bc TOO MANY are trying to get on the no wait list and jump the line! I have NO IDEA how you even begin to figure out whos turn it is...I think they just pick their favorite person and go with it...while I, a potential NEW CLIENT waited almost 3 hours and ended up walking our bc if the amount if ppl that were taken in front of me!!!🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤬Pros: the stylist that actually cut my hair on day 2 of my 1st time sports clips journey, was absolutely amazing. Her name was Lorraine, an she was very, very kind! She made sure to make me feel more comfortable about coming to a mostly male client based business to get my waist length hair cut! She did a wonderful job! She turned my entire experience completely around! I would love for her to cut my hair again next time.

All I wanted was just a little trim around my ears and box it in the back and even up my sideburns she cut too much off before asking me was this OK it seemed she was too worried about my personal life there more than me getting a haircut and paying attention to what she was doing. My 3 year old just got the worst haircut that I have ever seen. Its so bad, that I have to pay someone else to fix your mistake. I have sent and email and requested to be contacted immediately.

I had no wait at 3pm, which is always a plus. I had Cecilia cut my hair this go round and she did an outstanding job. Very engaging, but very good attention to the details. Most haircuts I get are quick with the razor and out I go, but she took her time and made sure that everything was straight and even, and that there was nothing missed. Great MVP treatment!

Never know what kind of conversation your getting into but the ladies are awesome and they like when you shower if possible before coming in... We all do.

Lorena was very friendly and did a great job. She even had the electrical razor to use on the skin portion of my haircut to give it the smooth finish I like.

My husband went on 10/15/2019 in the afternoon to get his hair trimmed. First he wanted around an hour to get his hair cut. While another gentleman walked in started a conversation with a stylist and gets taken back immediately without signing in or anything. When it is my husbands turn he tells the stylist he likes it shorter on the sides and longer on top, the stylist does not confirm the guard size and immediately starts with no guard at all. Halfway up the back of his head my husband sees the no guard and feels a breeze on the side of his head and ask her what size she is using. He is now paranoid about his look as he has never gone this short and hates it.

First time visit for my son, and me. We Really appreciated the hospitality that we received. Our hair stylist, listened to what we wanted, for our hair styles, and they delivered! My son really likes his haircut, and mine is just what I wanted, as well. If I am ever in need of a haircut in the future, and my family, or I am in the area, we will definitely use Sports Clips of Goose Creek again. Thank y’all!

Usually go to the North Charleston location but we were over by Goose Creek and stopped in here.First, its a popular chain so were used to waiting that was no issue. Checking in online is a good way to go.Second, Danielle was my sons stylist and I was not happy with her service or style. When we were seated, she was obviously flustered and rushed. Honestly I should have walked out then. I tried to explain the style he wanted but she kept interrupting me and repeating the same question over and over like if she said it loud or often enough I would somehow magically understand what she meant. I finally just stepped back and trusted her professional judgment.The shape was want we wanted so good job there.However, she missed many spots on the back and cut into the style in one place. I know I didnt see a weed whacker back there but it looks like she used one.Plus she kept complaining about people getting last-minute cuts. What am I supposed to say to that? Sorry for bringing you my business? Sorry for bothering you?I had to take him somewhere else to fix the mess, there was no way I was going to ask her to fix it. For one, she wasnt gonna touch my sons head again, and two she looked like she was riding the edge of a breakdown and I did NOT need to be a part of THAT.I still like Sports Clips in general and would recommend visiting the North Charleston location, they have long lines for a reason. Wish I could have gotten pictures but I was already flustered from the experience and focused on fixing it.

Haircut was okay, but they charged 25 for mvp. Suppose to include shampoo, face towel, and massage. Disnt receive any of that. Just a regular haircut. Misleading price. When I asked about why the 25 fee when I didnt get any of the mentioned extra services, she said oh, we can get u a shampoo. At that point I was at the cash register paying. I said nevermind. I will not come back. Gave her a $5 tip. It wasnt her fault.

The owners response makes it clear I did not explain myself adequately. They assumed I asked for a haircut only at a lower price. I did not. I received only a cut and a thank you without any if the other services which make up the MVP.Are you saying the client must INSIST on getting everything they are paying for? Is that how you do things in your store? I would have contacted you directly but your website and Facebook page give only the store phone number.And no other method of contact.No hot towel, no shoulder massage, no shampoo but same price.

This has always been a good place to get a haircut. I mean they have some of the best stylist. but their check in system needs some work.I just want to preface this by saying this isnt the first time this has happened to me. This about the 9th or 10th time this has happened to me. Im typically very patient and understanding but i pretty much had my last straw with this.I checked in today around 2pm online. The wait time was long but it was not something i havent dealt with before, this is a popular store. So i get to the store around 3pm, walk in, and a stylist checks me in. Im told i have about an hour more to wait so i said okay thats fine ill wait outside. I come back around 3:30pm to wait inside. As im waiting i look at the board and see my name steadily move up.It gets to 4pm and i see that im next. As i wait for them to clean up their station, i see my name is no longer on the list. When the stylist comes back i ask why my name is not on it (this is the same stylist that checked me in, in person at 3pm). They tell me that they will check me in. They check me in and im on the bottom of the waitlist and have to wait another hour and a half. I was basically skipped over.Frustrated i tell her i cannot wait another 2 hours as i have other plans for my day. I leave and i dont know if i want to return to this store now due to how the check in has gotten messed up here quite a bit here with me paying the price. I lost about an hour of my day waiting for nothing.Ive been coming to this store for almost 2 years now.

No wait, easy to find, and clean establishment. Was able to kinda describe the desired hair style and walk away satisfied. Periodic discussion / checking on the hair would have been nice but it was obvious yhe stylist new what she was doing. Timely and efficient. Price is usually 20$, got a first time discount.A bit steep but I was satisfied with the work. Will revisit.

Went in for the first time so I was unsure as to what to expect. I read the sign which I thought gave me a better perspective. I did not receive any of the services listed although I certainly was charged for them. I left with hair all over me, none of the cut hair was wiped off, no blow dryer used to blow it off nothing. There was no offer to put any product in my hair when I was done, no offer to even comb it out, nothing. In fact I didn’t really realize he was done since none of these services were offered. When I stood up I bent over and shook the loose hair off. I will not return.

Daniel is the best stylist & is very much worth the wait! Im sure theres other stylist and theyre very good but my experience has been when three others including Danielle and she is by far the best.

The cut was good, but I had to ask for the wash and I told them I wanted the hot towel and everything. The wash was halfway through and I reminded them I wanted the hot towel, then no conditioning. I go to Sports Clips all the time and this was my first time at the one in Goose Creek., so the service is here is nothing compared to the one on Rivers or Savannah GA

My baby boy had his first hair cut yesterday along with my husband getting cleaned up because of him being a shaggy mess. I was super nervous, but the whole store helped ease my nerves with my little man. They got us right in with Ms. Dani. She was so amazing with him, even when he started squirming she did so great on his hair cut! They even got me a cute certificate to tape one of his precious baby curls on saying my first haircut! My husband came out looking very handsome! Thanks yall we will most definitely be back!!!

Everyone there does great job, it was quite busy... I found out it was back to school day before first day... Everyone there happy and positive even though probably busiest day of the year!Kaitlin is my stylist, she is very particular in making sure you are happy with your hair. Went here for the first time last Sunday. Madison cut my hair, she did an excellent job. Staff are friendly and aren’t pushy or aggressive with trying to sell you any products or up charge you. This place does get busy fast so it’s best to try to be early and be one of the first ones in the door.

Worst sports clips I’ve been to. The person who cut my hair- guy with red hair- was more preoccupied with talking instead of cutting my hair. He didn’t even blow the hair off of my face that he cut, I have places to still go and now I am covered in hair. He didn’t straighten my hair after he cut it, offer product, or anything. To make it worse, it’s $25 for a haircut there now? I didn’t get a shampoo or anything. Every other sports clips I’ve been to has 2 different prices, one for a cut, then a separate price for a cut, shampoo, and massage. I will not be going back. I see the owners generic replies for the complaints on google, I hope they actually do something

Im sitting in here waiting while my boyfriend has his hair cut, and I cant believe the conversations Im overhearing from the staff. How in the world do they think laughing uproariously over male baldness/toupees is appropriate in a setting full of men? If i were a man feeling insecure about thinning hair Id be mortified listening to them. Every time I accompany him to this place I find myself wishing I had waited for him outside. A little bit a tact training (or a lot) is in order.3 stars because my man always comes out looking great, but the experience is brutal.

Pretty good service, friendly staff, 50/50 on getting a good haircut (even on a simple fade) or consistent (same cut on same person, yet looks different and length is different every time🤷🏽‍♀️) . The wait can be 10min, or 1 hour and 45 Min - even if you check in online and it says 20min wait there - you never can tell.

The wait was a little long but thats expected on a Saturday when everybodys trying to get a haircut. And I was greeted nicely when I walked into the door and they had the Little League World Series on so it made up for it. I took my son who is to years old to get a hair cut. They were AMAZING there, and so patient with him being difficult. I came unprepared because it was kind of spontaneous, but they offered toys, and lollipops, and got the job done quick. Extremely patient and kind. I cant thank them enough for putting up with him!!

She couldnt follow simple instruction and worst of all her attitude was very poor. I would name her, but I dont like bashing people online. Good thing Amanda was there to fix it. Joanna listened to me describe what I wanted and made it happen, checking often throughout the cut to make sure I was happy. A very friendly and engaging lady. So pleased with this style and have gotten lots of compliments!

Not bad, but nothing special either. My son was more excited but the stylist didnt really his enthusiasm with hers. Nice cut and shampoo, but more straight to business behavior, little to no conversation and we were only ones there and still got just sub past experience. Probly not going back to this one.

I dont normally go to Sport Clips because they are a little more expensive than my usual place but it was over a 30 minute wait there. I signed in and the screen indicated a 15 minutes wait. With 6 employees wandering around and only two people in front of me it was probably a 40 minutes wait.
