I went in for a quick trim, everyone recommended this place and I saw all the 5 star reviews. Then I met Wes, one of the barbers. He thinned my hair so much I look like I’m 50 and balding. My hair started at about 2 inches long. I’ve never had such a bad haircut IN MY LIFE. This is coming from a sailor who had their head shaved in bootcamp. Random hairs on my head are still 2 inches long. I will never go back, no matter how many 5 star reviews there are. I’ll put a picture here so you can see I’m not exaggerating. Ruined my day.

I’ve been coming to Celebrityz since it’s inception. I’ve followed Alex everywhere he worked until he got his own shop. To me there is more to a shop than just the cut. It’s the community that the shop services and builds. I’ve never left the chair feeling unsatisfied with his work. They do everything there to make you feel welcome and included no matter the race or orientation. Every time I come here I feel like a celebrity!! I was a walk in I had to wait a little longer than expected but it was well worth the wait. These guys take their time to get to know you, have a conversation and make sure your cut is not only exactly what you asked for but perfect. Exactly what a barbershop should be.

Came into the shop was expecting it too be super busy it wasn’t took me right on and got me seated in a chair the atmosphere was extremely friendly/welcoming and everyone in the shop seemed extremely professional and very proficient at what they do my barber was Jahkel and the man took his sweet time and made sure my cut was on point and gave me a definite top 3 best cut I’ve had in my life would recommend this shop too anybody they prolly the best in Berkeley County will definitely be returning hope this review helps anybody thinking of coming and giving these folks a shot trust you won’t be disappointed

Since I have moved to Charleston I have been coming to Alex, to get my hair cut it’s always an awesome experience and great atmosphere. His staff is also extremely talented from Keem, jahkil, Wes, and big Jah, and Nart, I highly recommend this barber shop not only for the services but the experience. It is a tremendous scam my son went for a cut they charge him $ 35 dollars they made him a mess and when my son told him to fix it, the guy stayed as if nothing, I do not recommend it at all

Worst haircut experience I’ve ever had. Asked for a simple haircut, and this dude took an hour and a half to basically give me a buzz cut. Then charged me $43 bucks. Do not get your hair cut here.

Alex was very friendly and inviting to our family, for our sons haircut. We are very particular about the way his hair is cut, and Daniel was SPOT ON with what we asked for.
