We have been using Chris for the last 3 years. He knows what he is doing and has made our pool perfect. My wife is the one who communicates with him weekly and is very happy.

This pool company is superior compared to the rest. Chris is very professional and timely. He is honest and really knows his stuff. He fixed my pool issue and his price was reasonable. He took the time to explain how the system works. I definitely would recommend him.

We have had 4 different pool services since we have lived in the Phoenix Valley and we will not have another. In our pool emergencies they respond right away to ensure no further damages are incurred. They always communicate when they are not able to make it on our normal scheduled day. By far the most reliable pool service we have had in 15 years of owning a pool.

Scammed me for 2560.00 stay far away. He finally paid. All is good.

We called Chris because we had been dealing with a green pool for awhile. We had done everything the pool store told us to do and had done various treatments many times. Finally, we did a search and found Nautical Star Pool Service. I emailed Chris with my problem on a Wednesday night. He came out the next day and gave us a reasonable quote (far less than what we had been spending on the chemicals that werent fixing our problem). We hired him to fix our pool. He came on Friday and started treating the pool. We woke up Saturday to a clean pool! Amazing! We were so pleased, we hired him to do our weekly service. Friendly, reasonably priced and obviously knows his stuff! We highly recommend this company!

We needed work done on our pool so we called Chris at Nautical. Chris was very professional and was able to work on our pool on short notice. Overall the service was excellent, Chris did a GREAT job. In the future when we need more service work on our pool, we will be calling Chris. His service comes highly recommended!

Ive talked to Chris as well on 5th September 2013. He answered the first call, but then I heard background noises only. Then I called right again and got the answering machine. Chris called back soon after that and I explained the issues with the pool. He said that he would come the same afternoon if his time allows, otherwise he would come the next morning for sure, but he would call me again that evening to let me know. Ive waited the whole evening and since he didnt show up nor called and since Ive said that I would be here either/or, I thought he would come in the morning. But he didnt show up nor he called. So I called him again at noon time on Friday and had to leave a message where I left my phone number again (just to make sure). But I never heard back from him since. I am happy for him that he has all these great reviews and it seems that he is very busy - which is good for him... I only would have appreciated that Chris would have respected my time as well.

I was referred to Chris by a dear friend. He responded on time and his rates were reasonable. He helped fixed my pool and gave good advise. His service was Gold.

Began using Nautical Star last year after construction was completed. Could not be happier with the service Chris provides. Always responds quickly and never a delay if service is needed. Extremely pleased with his work.

Do not call this service! After waiting over 5 weeks, repairs are started and never finished! Text after text, says hell be there and when, never shows up! Keeps bsing, excuse, after excuse, lie after lie. Left motor apart, pool filthy, did not return calls! ZERO STARS!!!! unfortunately I had to pick one to post!

I have been dealing with another pool company that has been charging high prices on any repair. Since I am leaving a review for this Nautical Star, I wont use the name. To make a long story short, I was quoted a repair to fix multiple valves for $557 from this other company that is known for ripping people off. Chris showed up from Nautical Star, was totally honest and accessed the problem within minutes. he said I only needed 1 valve replaced, total cost $100!! My waterfall was also on the fritz, so he looked at that, cleaned and lubed some parts, all part of the same fee! I appreciate the honesty and integrity that I have experienced from Nautical Star. They have two more pools that I will also have serviced through their company. At minimum, at least have them give you a free estimate for any repairs.

We have been with this company for about 5 years. Chris is thorough and knowledgeable and keeps our pool functioning at its best. Chris is always willing to work with us if we need to add or change our pool service appointment.

** THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, PERIOD **From the very start this pool company was unreliable and completely unprofessional and has continued to act that way ever since.The only reason I had to stay with them was because of the property management company. Chris will keep you waiting for hours, not show up at all or be as rude as can be. He has no respect for anybodys time except his own so dont expect him to ever go out of his way for you. Stay far far away from this pool company. There are so many quality pool companies in this area, dont settle for subpar and be hassled and disrespected!

Chris is the most disrespectful person I have ever dealt with. He is rude and if you complain in any way about his horrible service then he calls and threatens to come over to your house and fight you. This is no joke. This guy is horrible and no one should ever do business with him

Horrible service I made an appointment with these guys, then I called the day of to confim and they said they were on the way but they never showed up, never called to keep me updated and they never returned my calls back. if they were unable to get to me ..they should have communicated that. .. I will never ever use them again.

We contacted Chris by text on about May 7th, letting him know that we were having trouble with the pool. He responded by saying that he would be out the next day. Our salt system wasnt producing chlorine for some reason. When he didnt show the next day I sent him a text asking for an update. He responded by saying he couldnt come by until the next day. The next day came and the same story. No word from him, texted him and he was too busy to come by. So day 4 after I contacted him and took water samples and my salt cell to Leslies to have everything tested. I suspected phosphates, but it turned out that wasnt the problem. I again texted Chris letting him know the results. This was on May 10th. May 12th he did end up coming out, but I didnt realize it until he was gone. When I inquired, he let me know that he had been there and he said he was going to add a bag of salt and then do a diagnostic. Long story short the cycle of no communication from him / inquiries from me continued until May 19th when he came out again with out notifying me and then sent me a text saying that the problem was that the circuit board would need to be replaced and quoted me $680 plus shipping and service fee.Because of the high costs, we sought a 2nd opinion and called Hayworth (the manufacturer). They sent out a technician from an authorized dealer. We found out that the circuit board wasnt the problem at all. It turned out that stabilizers that should have been added to our water, when Chris replaced our salt cell late last year, were absent. I dont know if they were just never added or what the issue was.Bottom line, we started out loving Chris. Even nominated him for the page of happiness on Angies List. He was friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and taught us about how to maintain our pool. Unfortunately we will not use him again in the future mainly due to his horrible lack of communication, inability to be there when he stated he would be there and the fact that we saved several hundred dollars by seeking a second opinion before taking his suggestion of replacing the circuit board.

Needed help and info on pool spa lighting and Chris went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Will be calling chris from here on out for all our pool needs! Thanks, Chris!
