An amazing professional who is practical, caring and effective. Dr. Baumgardner has been so incredibly helpful to us as a family in a time of difficulty with a child who has special needs. She has so much knowledge concerning his disorder and shows much compassion, understanding and connection with him. She helps us as parents each session to leave having identified areas to work on improving between sessions. We have seen remarkable progress. I highly recommend this competent and caring professional.

Doctor Barbara has been an invaluable resource to our special needs family for several years, now. She has counseled us through many hardships, grief, severe OCD and anxiety, and even a couple of scary periods of deep crisis. She is tremendously knowledgeable and deeply compassionate. With mental health issues, sometimes things get a little worse before they get better. She has never steered us wrong, and my family is stronger and more successful with her guidance.

Dr. Baumgardner always listens with compassion and provides expert advice on medication management. Where I have found nothing but judgement and scorn in the past at other providers, this office provides welcome relief from that. Everyone treats you with kindness. Be honest and forthcoming with her and she will help you get through the bumps in life.

Dr. Baumgardner listens carefully and is responsive even between sessions. Shes been wonderful with me and my teenagers. The worse I can say is that it took a while to get in to see her but she is worth the wait. If you need help, call Dr. Baumgardner!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! My son visited Dr. Bomgardner in the middle of October for high anxiety. It was quite a while until we got into her office which I thought was a good sign. I wish she would not be excepting new patients then we would not of had to go through what we went through in the hour that we met with her. She was Awful in the way she talk to my son and myself. I felt worse when I left then when I went in. It cost $345 for a visit and an hour I could never get back. He was on a waiting list at PCH for months and they finally called the week after we left her office so that is a blessing. She prescribed to medications for my son which she thought he really needed. One of which she said she has prescribed five times in the entire time she has been a doctor. When I let her know we would not be coming back she canceled both prescriptions and Is choosing to let my son suffer. Extremely disappointed so just do your research.

Dr. Baumgardner is the best psychiatrist Ive known. In addition, she is a psychologist so can provide therapy while she also helps me with medicine. What a rare gift to have both in the same provider!

So disappointed! After 3 years my husband seems to be getting worse. She is notorious for canceling appointments and rescheduling for weeks later and doesnt care if your medications are filled, and there are gaps in taking meds that should NOT be abruptly stopped.

Very disappointed in the consultation I had today in her office it was $180 and not worth it at all. Complete waist of money and I left there feeling worst. save your money and go to another office that is less expensive.

Highly recommend. The level of care and expertise is excellent.

I had an appointment with her when I was physically and mentally sick. I had real physical symptoms that she said were all in my head. She prescribed me antidepressants and said I just had anxiety. She made me feel like I was crazy. I never returned, and soon after I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Hashimotos Thyroiditis. It wasnt all in my head after all.

So helpful to my son who has an anxiety disorder. Dr B prescribed the best medicine for him and his life has changed so much for the better!

Very disappointed. Called and called....and called. Teresa took a message. Waited and waited and waited. And still no call back. If you want a doctor that cares try someone else.

You go in - and they try to feed you to there other doctors and to make appointments every week or two - just a feeding mill
