Initially everything was great! My recruiter was wonderful at communication and had fast response times to my questions. He always returned emails and phone calls and I felt like he was truly interested in not just helping the company and himself, but ME, too. However, when things got tough, he totally bailed. I’ll explain. I took a drug test for the company and in 10 days, I was contacted by the company to say that my results came back “inconclusive” and would not give me any more information. I was completely dumbstruck because I have never touched a drug in my life! When the recruiter came back, he found out that the person running the drug tests had been fired because he/she had been tampering with the tests and my test had to be thrown out.He told me I would have to take another test and I happily did so the next day, as soon as I got back into town. I was supposed to start the job that day but was unable to because of the whole drug test debacle (that was 100% not my fault). I was assured by the recruiter that I would be able to get caught up and not to worry, but then the next day, I was told that I did not have a job anymore because the company refused to use me since I was going to be delayed. So, by that time I had resigned from my previous job and was completely unemployed. I was also out the money I paid out for a Minnesota nursing license and associated costs with that, a phone headset, and a computer monitor. Granted, these things were not his fault, however, it would have been a sign of good customer service and just courteous in general if he would have continued to try to find other positions for me. I found out just a few days later that he had been promoted to a new role and would no longer be working as a recruiter. I reached out to him to congratulate him and he did ask me about one other position. I agreed that I would be interested and he told me he submitted my information. Well, I have not heard from him since. Once he got promoted, he seemingly forgot about me and moved on with his own career. I don’t fault him for this necessarily but I do feel that it would have been good customer service to have passed my name onto another recruiter to follow up with me since Aerotek is the reason I am unemployed (STILL) and lost a lot of money on equipment I may never use and nursing license for a state I will never work in. Not only am I still not employed, I cannot even get unemployment since I willingly quit my job. I definitely drew the short straw in this whole ordeal and I wish I could do it over. From my experience, I feel that this company is in it for themselves only and not for their clients/ customers. They left me high and dry, that’s for sure. While my circumstances were just a freak thing that was out of their control, their lack of follow-up and follow through speaks volumes.

Fantastic! Emily Goldstein was able to take me in for an interview in the beginning of the week and by the end of the week I was placed in a job that fit my degree!

This company sucks if i could give no stars i would. My mom worked for them and didnt like the job they found and they never wanted to communicate with her so she left the job and then they refused to pay her for the time she worked. So if you dont want good communication or to be paid go with aerotek. I would never recommend aerotek to anyone.

So I just called trying to get a hold of somebody to talk to after a lengthy of no reply. I tried to get connected to three different recruiters, and nobody answered. Very pathetic they cant even answer a phone.
