Dr A and his wife are absolutely the best. They are gentle, positive, focused, friendly, and always on time. I love the whole office and actually look forward to my visits! In the past I hated going to the dentist! I highly recommend them. Please, if you are looking for a new dentist, or you are not happy with who you are with, go see them. They are not about just a healthy month, they check for anything that could be wrong. Super impressed.

For the first time in my life I like going to the dentist. The doctors and the staff are great and their services are amazing. Came in for a cleaning and a couple of cavities and felt like I was at a spa. I hate the drilling and the numbing shots but they made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t feel a thing. I like this office because they provide great customer service. It is the reason I have stayed with them for the last 5 years. I went in for a routine cleaning, but this time I had a dental hygienist who was covering for someone. Barb was absolutely amazing!!! I had some stains some from using Crest ProHealth mouthwash. In my past two cleanings, the person cleaning my teeth mentioned the stains, but was not able to remove them. Barb removed those stains. I was extremely pleased. She was gentle and thorough. I hope she is there for my next cleaning in 6 months.

Highly recommend Glenview Dental! Everyone there is so nice, and you are treated very well. When it comes to the dentist I am the biggest coward. They treat me so well, are very understanding, and help to calm me. I never feel anything pain wise, when I am in the chair. It’s worth driving any distance to make Glenview Dental your dentists.

This is absolutely the most caring, careful, and skillful dentistry practice! All the dentists have taken special steps over my years there to make 100% sure I am not experiencing any pain during various procedures. And even the hygienists take such extra time and care that you always know you’re in good hands.

Without a doubt the most patient, thorough and receptive dental professionals our family has seen. Im a teacher at GBS and have been beyond impressed with the quality of dental and orthodontic work Ive received there for more than ten years. We live in the city so initially found it easier to take our children to a practice near our home. Not anymore though, weve recently started driving the whole family up to see Dr. Koulis and her team because the quality of their work and the care they give our children. Walking into their office is like walking into home. I highly recommend others to check it out!

I saw Dr. Katerina Halkias for the first time today! She was very thorough and made me feel comfortable during my entire visit. She has a great chair side manner and was very thorough in explaining to me every step she was taking. Her hands are light so for those who are scared of dentists, she is nothing to fear as she is gentle and accommodating. I cant say enough too about Effie the front desk staff today. She was so accommodating with her kindness, friendliness and helpfulness despite being swamped was outstanding! Being their first week back they are still going through the changes with new requirements so being patient, kind and understanding is a must whether here or no matter where you go these days. Very pleased with my first visit and experience! Keep up the great work!

I called to ask if they accepted my insurance (Cigna), they said they did, but did not ask if it was a PPO or HMO. When I arrived for my appointment I showed them my insurance card (which says DHMO on it) and went back for my appointment. I was there for 20 minutes (of my 1.5 hour scheduled appointment) before someone came back and informed me they actually do not accept my insurance. I was confused because my insurance card clearly said DHMO on it, which they knew they did not accept, and they still let me proceed with my appointment. The dentist (Dr. Roukas) was very nice and polite and said they would attempt to bill my insurance first and if they denied the claim then they would send me a bill. I later received a bill for $111 which I was very confused about because how could a 20 minute visit (which was cut very short) equate to a $111 charge? I thought they might have billed me for the entire length of the appointment because I did not expect a routine checkup to cost that much.I received a call from Effie last week telling me I had not paid the bill yet, I told her I was actually glad she called because I had questions about it. I asked how that charge equates to a 20 minute visit and she became very rude and hostile towards me. She kept speaking over me and not letting me finish my questions. She stated that I needed to pay my bill today or she would send me to collections. I told her I plan on paying the bill today, but I still had questions about the charge that I would like answered first. She continued to speak over me and be hostile to anything I asked. I told her I would be leaving this review stating that Dr. Roukas was very nice and sweet, but that she is rude and should not be working in customer service. She replied stating that they have every right to reply back and tell everyone how I tried to walk out on paying my bill. At this point I just laughed at her because I stated 5 seconds before this that I would be paying it during this phone call.Ultimately, Effie was very unprofessional, rude, and hostile towards me so unfortunately I cannot recommend this business due to their awful customer service. Only after my payment went through did Effie admit that she was being hostile towards me and apologized, which was too little too late. I expect more from businesses, especially one as highly rated as this, during a pandemic when people are losing their jobs and struggling financially to be understanding and compassionate when a client has concerns about their bill. I am not sure if Effie’s character is always like this or perhaps she was having a bad day, but regardless it is unacceptable. I am sure she will face no repercussions though, as she is related to Dr. Roukas.

A wonderful group of dentists that treat everyone like family. They create a calm and supportive environment for all their patients. Ive been a patient for 20+ years and even when I moved out of state, I would come back every 6 months for them to have my cleanings and work done. They have such patience with my 2 year old and he feels completely comfortable with them for cleanings as well. I highly recommend!

I gave this place a 5 star rating because of the friendly staff. The dental hygienist Dr George was very careful with me as I have sensitive gums and TMJ. He also got out all my coffee and green tea stains on my teeth! Dr. Roukas was very friendly and very easy to speak to. She explained exactly what i needed to do with my teeth.

Everyone here is friendly and professional. I feel very comfortable; my hygienist talked to me to put me at ease. And I got a great cleaning, to boot! I highly recommend this practice.

My entire life I have been, not afraid, but terrified of going to the dentist. Being in pain with an impacted wisdom tooth forced me to call and make an appointment. From my first phone call, Stacy and the other lady (Im sorry, cant remember the name) were very helpful and got me in quickly. I walked in, expecting to be treated just like a big dollar sign (I say this based on previous experience at other dental offices), I was immediately welcomed with a big smile and a it is so nice to finally meet you. These ladies showed real concern for me as a person, who was in a lot of pain. I waited about 5 min and Dr. Koulis came to get me. She introduced herself with a big smile and shook my hand! (again treated like a human being and not a walking bank) I let her know how afraid I was of the dentist and immediately she made me feel at ease. Hands down the best dental care I have ever experienced in my life. She was NOT interested in how much money their business was going to get from me but in HELPING me in making sure I get excellent attention and care. I have never laughed so much at the dentist, I didnt feel judged because my last cleaning was 1-1/2 ago (like other dentists had made me feel in the past). She showed real concern about me, made me feel so comfortable that I forgot about my fear and I left the office smiling and knowing that from now on I am in great hands when it comes to my dental health! I had just arrived from rural Greece back in 1990 and within months I had an accident and I had to fix a tooth. So I asked my sister where to go and fix it since I knew no one back then and my English were poor. She told my there is this guy on Diversey Av next to Agia Triada Orthodox Church. So I when there. The guy (Antonakos) after a few visits fixed my tooth, so I told him to clean the rest of my teeth. At some point he tells my there is a tooth in very bad shape (and form I guess) and needs to be extracted. Ok, I replied (he had gained my trust by then). After some time and a lot of pain I turned my head towards the extracted tooth. When I saw it I fell of the skies. It was a molar almost a finger long in length and there was some cavity on it around 15-20% but it was one of my best teeth that I had at the time if not the only one that I had (the rest were much worst with big feelings covering at least 50% of the area above the gums). I could not say anything at the time I kept mum for a long time crying in me like I had lost a baby. What could have I done legally back then, probably nothing. I had no proof. Its part of every professionals job that has it in him/her I guess, and I should be extra careful.30 years later I still cry for it. Not so much for the $350 to $400 that I paid(overcharged - I didnt keep account of all the money I paid but I think was in the $750 area - long time pass to remember - no way to know the price list, I should ask). If he would ask for the money (maybe he was in need back then) and said something along those lines : Give my $350 or you will lose one of your best tooth, I would have given the money to him to save the tooth.PS. To respond to the Response from the owner: Yes, Dr.Antonakos became an oral surgeon just for me and for that session only.As far as whether Dr Antonakos has performed an unethical procedure or not (on me he has), only he, himself knows what he has done or not to others (some times maybe his wife too, but thats another story). The rest of your writing is ... bull.

First off, Dr. George is absolutely wonderful! I have fairly bad anxiety when it comes to dentists, and had been to a few offices. But this one is the best! At each appointment Dr.George talks me threw everything he does, always makes sure Im comfortable and sits beside me the whole time. This office is filled with such a friendly staff! I have a long road of dental work, cavities, wisdom tooth removal, a silver filling that needs to be replaced with a composite filling and braces. Coming into this blind I didnt know what to expect. But Dr.George and the Glenview Dental Associates office is helping me threw it and keeping it affordable. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!!! Ten out of ten

GDA is an excellent choice for all dental needs. I chose them when we needed a dentist for my nephew and seven years later they treat my whole family from 6 to 62. All dental needs are met there from basic cleanings or root canals to orthodontics.The front desk is run by Effie, who goes above and beyond, making every patient feel at ease. Even when, well lets face it, who wants to go to the dentist.So, if you’re new to the area or just looking for a new dentist, you won’t be sorry choosing them. All the staff is top notch.

Glenview Dental Associates is by far the best Dental office I have been to. Not only are they up to date with all of their technology, but they do thorough examinations. Dr. Roukas cares about my oral health and is always so sweet and kind. She genuinely cares about her patients and is very easy to talk to. I will not go anywhere else or to anyone else!

Great family practice. I have unfortunately had to have tons of works done between a couple of cavities to TMJ and braces. Both Dr. Koulis and Dr. A have been fantastic. Not only do I go there and have had the work done but my son and wife also go there as well and both have had braces.

Dr. Koulis actually was more upset about a cavity than I was because she cared so much. That’s hard to find in a dentist. They are very attentive to your comfort level and take the time to ensure each visit is pleasant. All of your questions get answered. They use the latest in technology and their staff is tremendously friendly. Glenview Dental Associates has been my dentists for several years and not once have I had a bad experience. I even make the trip from Chicago every time.
