Robert was awesome. Took a car we were looking at by for a pre-purchase inspection and he looked over the entire car for over an hour and gave us a detailed rundown of the issues. We ended up not buying the car as it was a lemon at the asking price. Without Robert, we wouldve gotten ripped off!

Robert is outstanding, a world class service person and mechanic. With my XC70, he was upfront and honest about what work needed to be done now, what should be done sooner rather than later, and what would need to happen eventually. This is a guy with integrity, that is in it for his customers, and for the long haul. Not going to rip you off with things you dont need, he wants your business for as long as you own a Volvo. Hes got mine. Its not a place to come for a $25 oil change, or to repair something with cheap junk parts. You get what you pay for. Highly recommend.

Robert is the best Volvo technician I have dealt with in repairing my s40. I was referred to him by one of my neighbors, and his shop has done many repairs, both large and small, on my vehicle. Robert is very knowledgeable, as he has many years of experience, and is able to explain in detail what the challenges are and how he will repair it with understandable description, and has put my car on the rack and shown me what is failing, and then shows me again after he does the repairs...what was replaced. He developed an ongoing assessment with me on the state of my car and kept me aware of repair work that would be coming up, how much it would cost, and a reliable time frame for bringing it in and having the work done. Most of my work was done same day, if I was able to bring it in when he opens up at 8am. Hes both personable and professional, and I recommend him to anyone with a Volvo, as his level of professionalism is just hard to find nowadays. I also like the fact that you deal everything with him...he does the estimate, and he does the repairs himself, so when you call in, everything happens exactly as he says it will. I especially recommend him if you are in the Foothills area, as hes conveniently located on Arrow Hwy in Glendora...I wouldnt take my car to anyone else, and after you try him out, you wont want to either...

Robert has been my mechanic since he opened his shop some 18 years ago. I have an 89 Volvo 740 with 311,000 miles on it and a 2005 S60 with 112,000 miles. They both have the original engine and transmission. I bought them both new and thanks to Robert they both still run like new. Robert is incredibly honest and hard working. Volvo cars and repair are his passion and with his 30 plus years of experience he knows what he is doing. In all the years he has worked on my cars I have never had to take the car back a second time for the same problem. Another shop may low ball the repair estimate to get your business but will cost you more in the long run. Do yourself a favor and go to Robert at Sweden Volvo.

Robert is the best, most approachable, experienced and honest volvo specialist I have known.I drove across country from NY with my XC90 that has around 167,000 miles and was concerned with finding a shop that I could trust in Southern California.Im telling you, I have never received such great customer service ever in my life! I left knowing exactly what was wrong with my car, having gotten a detailed walkthrough at the shop itself. Robert is not like other shops that are cryptic and vague about their diagnostics. He will tell you exactly what you should repair in phases to identify the problem as opposed to trying to rip you off by replacing every single thing the computer says when those other parts might be functioning perfectly fine. He will try to make you happy and save you money.Come here, you wont regret it! Best service shop in the world!

Its a rare pleasure to come across an auto repair facility run by a dedicated, honest, skilled, passionate professional who really cares about his/her customers.Sweden Volvo Specialist is one of those gems. Robert gave an honest appraisal upfront, quickly diagnosed the problem, and, knowing I was facing a time crunch, gave up his lunch break to get my car repaired in time.Highly recommended!

Robert is a trusted man, I took my Volvo S80 to his place a year ago for the first time. Robert re-program my Volvos computer for Free honestly I did not expected that and addition to that he found another issues that I knew I have, He explained me the whole situation about those issues and the cost. He said that I can still driving like that but it is up to me to decide what to do to address these issues. And today a year has passed so, I decided to take my car to his shop again and he found the same last year issues plus a lights bulb errors, he went ahead and replace all 8 bulbs again for Free. Thats amazing. This is my first time finding a Mechanic that is really honest and not taking advantages of your situation. Robert really cares about your financial situation and advise you what to do. I totally recommend for you to take your Volvo to him.

I was in the military for almost 18 years and value honesty and integrity in all aspects of life. Robert is the epitome of these values, and all mechanics should strive to emulate his professionality and customer care services. I took my Volvo to the dealership for a hard start problem; they began with the starter, then with some wires, and finally having to call in the Volvo engineers (the people who build these cars), they ran test after test, and finally after two weeks they told me that they wrere going to have to drop the transmission and pull the flywheel. It was going to total to over $5,000.00 in repairs and labor, which I was willing to pay as long as they guaranteed that it would fix the problem. They did not want to guarantee that it would fix the problem but wanted me to pay for parts and labor. I asked for the vehicle back and took it to Robert. He found a ground problem on two bolts of the transmission within TWO HOURS!! His experience with VOLVOs is exemplary for all mechanics and ENGINEERS to follow. However the thing that separates him from all, is that he works on your car as if it were his own! He is also very understanding and works with you on VERY reasonable prices. I ended getting work done to trans axle, the transmission grounding problem, plus the shocks on the hood, and only paid $520!!!!! Big difference from $5000.......

I have entrusted my Volvos with Robert Isaian and Sweden Volvo since 1995. My current Volvo has over 208,000 miles and counting. Robert assures me that with regular maintenance the vehicle can double that amount if I so desire. Barring an accident, I do not doubt his words. Since we all find value in people who make every effort to live up to their word, this is the attribute that allows Robert to stand out from the ordinary. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated integrity, good work ethic and character in addition to providing the quality of service that is second to none. If you are concerned with trusting your vehicle to a technician whom you can place complete confidence, I highly recommend Robert Isaian for your Volvo.

Get a second opinion. I had a Engine system service required on my 2007 S60, Robert, the mechanic and owner of the shop ran the diagnostics and said that the oil trap needs to be replaced and he wanted $1200. I went down to an Aamco transmission shop in Pomona and had the same diagnostics and the mechanic cleaned out the air valve system for $190 and the warning went away.I researched through volvo entusiasts forums on the net and it seemed like 80K miles is too early for am oil trap replacement. Its a good thing I went for a second opinion. It is obvious that Robert is not a very honest mechanic but all he wanted was to take as much money as he can from you.*** Even the reviews here are a suspect. Most comments are by a Google User ??? I bet you its Robert that posted all of those.
