Our pool had a rather narrow cool deck material surrounding it; it had also been painted prior to our purchase of the home years ago - that made the cool deck too hot to walk on throughout most of our Arizona summers. After checking with friends, searching reviews across several internet sites, and getting three estimates, we decide to go with THE POOL MAGICIAN.We had a complete remodel and expansion of our pools deck and patio using travetine tiles. THE POOL MAGICIAN also emptied our pool, bead blasted and regrouted all the tile in the pool, and fixed a small leak in the underground pipes from our filter system. I could have purchased travetine tile from anyone, so what it boiled down to was professionalism, quality of work, and keeping me informed throughout the project. THE POOL MAGICIAN came through with 5 stars on all aspects of the job. They finished pretty much on the schedule outlined (something always happens to change the original time estimates) and we couldnt be more pleased with the outcome. They even saved me some money over the original estimate in that, after close inspection of the existing patio and pool deck integrity, they placed all the travertine over the existing structure. The project was finished about three weeks ago and the owner has been by to make sure everything met our expectations.Bottom line here - make sure you compare THE POOL MAGICIAN to other contractors you may be considering. They might not be the least expensive, but, in my opinion, theyre among the best.

Their professional and business like approach was quite refreshing from my previous pool company and I would like to commend them on a job well done. Its not always easy finding competitive pricing.. great workmanship and attention to detail. Pool Magician seems to have clearly distanced themselves from all other competitors in the pool business and innovatively changed the narrative of being a great pool service provider. William repaired a scupper that fell into the pool - did a great job, my highest recommendation.

Had them clean the calcium off my pool tile and the pool looks new again. They did an awesome job. Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

No customer service and if you have good experience, then you are in his criteria the serve. I dont understand if you provide a service but, dont service is hard to understand. Unprofessional comments when canceling service.

Stay away from this place. William, the owner, does nothing but lie. He says he will take care of you personally but sends someone else. He does not show up when he says he will. I had my pool resurfaced. William told me it would take 10 days start to finish. It took 4 months. During the process they tried to install the wrong tile, I called William and he told me he would be here on a certain day to fix it and when he did not show up, I called his office only to find out he was in Hawaii for 2 weeks. When he finally finished I had a loose tile, I called William, it took 2 weeks to hear back from him. He sent one of his people to fix it and they damaged my pebble tech. It took several weeks and several phone calls to get it fixed. William should not be in business. I would not recommend this company to anyone. PS. You can tell when William is lying, his lips are moving.

My pool pump/motor had been repaired/rebuilt twice from another repair shop after it went out this time I was done with them and called a friend for a referral. I was very pleased with the promptness, options I was given and replacement of new pump/motor after only 3 days after contacting the company. The installation went smooth and the young man was very kind, professional and helpful in explaining what I needed to do. The owner has answered my calls and questions in a timely matter. Very pleased and my pool looks great now that a have a working pool pump/ motor. Also its an upgrade so it will be more efficient on my electricity bill. :):):):)

I guess I need William to come personally service our pool and work with us because the office staff doesn’t seem to understand or care enough to make a actual attempt to work with their customers. We had 1 tech come out and wasn’t even notified their would be another tech, schedules are never the same, they want gates left unlocked and opened . We were promised equipment and it’s been 2 weeks, no equipment but I’m sure they will try to bill us huh ?! Emails take 16 hours to be responded to even after they know they have done wrong, very disappointed because I thought they would understand and work with someone who is taking care of a patient with Cancer and Dementia and I’m just trying to keep his pool clean and support a local business like myself . Very frustrated and even more disappointed

Great pool service at a great price

William really came through for me and did a fantastic job on my cool decking. He did about 400 sq. ft. in one day. It looks great and I am very pleased with his workmanship. He stands behind his work and really cares about satisfied customers! I would highly recommend The Pool Magician to anyone looking for a Cool Deck!

I have Been Using the Pool Magician for 6 months now. William the Owner Goes Above and Beyond to Satisty his Customers. Today after the Moonsoon storms you could not even see the Bottom of my Pool! Shawn my pool cleaner went above and beyond today, Not only did he Vacumn the Pool once, He offered to Vacumn it a Second Time. Talk about Customer Service, I could not ask for MORE. Shawn is a Rare Person to do what he did. Most pool cleaners just want to brush down the pool and Leave! Shaw Deserves a Raise! Finding someone like him is rare. A friend of ours recommended the pool majician for what we needed.i wanted to install a pool rail in my pool & didnt know which one to go with & where to install it.i talked to bill the owner & he came over the next day with two sample pool rails.( many pool places do not do this )he even placed it in the water so we could see where he recommended to install it.we went with his recommendation.he came out the next day with his helper ( rich )& installed it.they did a superjob.they went above & beyond expectations .clean up was super.i will use him in the future for a couple other jobs we talked about.i highly recommend him & his company.

I met Mr. William TeleKesy AKA The Pool Boy Magician at the end of April this year to see if we were a good fit and he would service my pool on a weekly basis. I liked his positive gregarious, can do attitude at the beginning but alas as they say the broom always sweeps clean when new or all that shines initially isnt always gold.I viewed my pool in the middle of May and was aghast to find dirt all over the side wall of the home because the technician back flushed the pool without using the rubber hose to go in the drain and the pool was dirty on the steps. I called William and he sent out Frank to vacuum the pool again and skim the surface.In June I was down and noticed the chlorine tablet container along with the pool pump timer door open, the fine dirt sponge and duck were out of the pool on the deck next to the primary filter basket. the back flush hose was not put back properly and the reflective cover box edge was on top of it pinching it.In July when I was down I was enraged to find one of the doors to my pool shed broken off and lying on the ground.The sponge and duck were missing and the floating chlorine basket was upside down in the pool with the bottom broken, chlorine tablets in the primary filter basket and the temp gauge was broken lying on the pool deck. The Pool float leveler was set to max height causing the pool water level to rise, (almost to the edge of the pool and the pool timer had been reset to 10 hrs instead of 4.I promptly called Phoenix PD to come out and do A report of malicious vandalism.The Pool Magician Co were the only people with gate code access to do this which I believe was an act of vindictiveness due to the bill being sent to my home there by mistake and I just having received it. I would have gladly repaid him when I received the bill had I been treated fairly and appropriately.In May before all of this transpired I even invited Mr Telekesy to attend a concert with me.I has to go to Home depot and Leslies to purchase $70.00 materials to do repairs needed on the pool and waste 4 hours of my time. A man by the name Ray at Leslies (after I shared my experience with him) stated that he just had a lady come in who used this company and was angry because they broke her skimmer/brush pole.I asked from the very get go for transparency and communication and got no confirmation from William.In June he told me he had many of his pool service techs quit for an unexplained reason??Caveat Emptor customer beware: Ive been told that due to conditions of working out in the hot sun along with poor nutrition that some of the pool techs (maybe on drugs or are alcoholics) have abbarent behavior and screw customers over/provide poor service. Some may even have criminal backgrounds.When I told Mr Telekesy the situation and that we are done his response was sorry to hear that youre unhappy,have a great weekend. He accepted no personal responsibility for his wrong doings.My advice to all of u is to look for a dependable, honest middle size pool service that is completely transparent and clearly addresses your needs properly. Online is BS as I just posted my review in BBB and apparently William has paid a fee because they took it down. Get referrals from friends u trust for pool service.

I called to have my pool vaccum looked at on june 1st they sent Chase out on june 8th he said he needed to take it to the shop for repairs the order was finally put in by them june 26th and approved. After several more calls and non returned calls 2 days ago they said they had it ready and would bring it by, yesterday Chase calls and left a voicemail that he could come by and look at our vaccum maybe a rock is stuck in it? No its at your shop I had family over for the 4th and had asked if they could clean it and Chase said it was a maintenance issue yes youve had my vaccum for a month may i suggest if you have something besides a cleaning or drain go somewhere else. Still without my vaccum .......
