I cannot express enough how much I love going to this location. I had previously gone to a different location and honestly hated going, especially after I met with the trainer at that location. Luckily I didnt give up and made an appointment with the trainer at the Glendale location and OMG... Josh is amazing... the support and understanding he gives along with a great beginner routine has made me excited to go and I truly look forward to my weekly routine. The whole staff is amazing and very supportive. They are always available to show our explain the machines and more. Thank you so much for all the support you guys give and... THANK YOU JOSH FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

Its always great to check in as the staff are always friendly, willing, and available to scan your badge. The facilitys always very clean. The equipment is dependable to get in a great workout. I love my Planet Fitness ❤.

Friendly staff/atmosphere. I was never comfortable working out around other people until I started attending this gym with a friend, now Im going there by myself up to 6 days a week.

Very clean.. Wish there was a little more flexibility with regards to personal training and fitness classes. Evenings maybe?

Felt very uncomfortable. Employee came into shower area and questioned me because Id been in there for a while. Felt rushed. This IS suppose to be a NO judgment zone! I pay my monthly payment just like everyone else.... I didnt hear her checking on anyone else! Will be going to next closest location from now on.

Loaded with MY people; so-called blacks, hispanics and natives. Seriously peaceful and respectful people. Ahkmed (the manager) is very understanding and easy to work with. The staff members function like family. A damn sight better than any PF Ive been to so far. Youd be hard-pressed to find a better location than this one.

The place is great, but employee Adam is not professional or kind in any way or form, I just started my enrollment last week, today was going to be my second time coming in, but this time my brother wanted to tag along. He wanted to check out the place before enrolling and this guy Adam was so very negative and rude and said that he could not come in unless I upgraded my enrollment. My brother even offered to pay for the hour or 2 that we were gonna be there, Adam said NO we don’t do that!!!I got to speak to Brandon the assisting manager and he kindly said yes “your brother can work out to try it out for $5.00”If only Adam could have been a little more kind and friendly I would have stayed, but instead I canceled my enrollment.Let’s share kindness the world needs it.

Showers were dirty and they all had hair in the drain. Bummer, the showers were larger than usual.

The gentleman working was very helpful. We came from out of state and we forgot our card. He got us checked in within a couple minutes. The locker rooms & showers are very clean & modern. Great gym especially for the price.

I seldom give out 5 stars, but this is the best planet fitness I have seen.

Most of the people that come here seem pretty cool. Staff member Ahmed is like MVP, knows how to talk to people and knows his job well. Much respect for this young man.

Everybodys very friendly, only thing I noticed that could be more effective is having the team members wiping down machines. Ive watched several members of the gym just hop from machine to machine without wiping them down!!Also if they can inform people not to just sit on a machine and why theyre texting or on the phone for like 20 minutes and just sitting there.Especially the interval for 30 minutes people are just walking in and jumping on a machine in the middle of people cycling in 30 minutes workout.Very annoying!

Not all but some of the employees over the years have just gotten worse! Each round, it just gets worse! Edit: I was finally able to go back and I had a great experience tonight. Friendly and helpful guys. Owner: I spoke to the manager the next day after the incident and was appalled at the unprofessionalism. I got a sorry for the trauma of being told that I was going to get the cops called on me for working out where I pay to do so. I really dont believe it was a misunderstanding. I believe that I was singled out and grossly discriminated against by Marchelle. I also emailed PF for a call back and still havent heard anything from anyone. The way I was treated was absolutely unacceptable. A case of mistaken identity for a terrorist who supposedly threatened to beat them up and call the cops for not opening up 😆 just before I called because they locked the doors before 10:00. I had dialed the other girl who was on a different call while this was happening, and asked if I could use the restroom and do one machine. Im doing whatever I can fit in my day for my sciatic nerve after serious injuries that left me unable to walk for almost a year. Im so busy and even though a lot of PF people dont comprehend it, ten or fifteen minutes helps and its better than nothing. Were used to 24 hours. Ive wondered why I even bother because theres not even a steam room or sauna mixed with a few terrible employees that deter traffic with their moods. I avoid this location even though its five minutes from my house because of a lot of bad vibes. Ive been treated rudely while the next guest is greeted with great customer service and a welcoming greeting. Theres a biased and obviously manipulative hiring process happening. Employees should do at least 3 interviews especially at this location because they shouldnt get one too far past 3 people. Ive given recognition to several people who work at other locations. I think its exceptional when they are cool because of the comparison. There needs to be zero tolerance because it is intolerable. Ive paid so long and have gone so little because of the trauma and anxiety from bad experiences. (I have CPTSD from an extremely crazy life since before I was born, so I know from therapy, that this is just adding to the trauma and loss of faith in humanity pile) I was so nice explaining that I would never do something like what she accused me of doing. I looked into her eyes while I humbly explained, she saw what kind of person I was. She felt convicted for a second because she caught a glimpse of who I am. I saw her face, she felt bad because she knew that I wasnt that other mystery terrorist that was probably made up as a cover because I said that I was going to say something. She got spoken to.🤦I wish I was comfortable going all of the time, but Im so glad I made it tonight because I was too tired to drive to the other locations as usual. Those guys should get more hours or a bonus for making an unpleasant place, pleasant again Ive attached a picture for reference on how much I dont look like someone who would be going around threatening people who work at the Clean thumb club. 😅 She watched me walk in laughing and talking to the other girl. Why would they have let me in? Why did she say that it was against policy to let ME workout when there were A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE working out and the policy was nowhere to be found when I requested it. I turned around and walked away telling her that I was going to workout. She then SHOUTED, that she was then going to call the cops on me! Thats not something I take lightly!!!!!!! Employees like some of the ones at this location can get you sued! It was ten minutes to closing, by the time we were done supplying her narcissistic power trip, she seemed satisfied as she stated that they were closed now. So, instead of allowing me to workout for ten minutes as discussed with the girl who answered the phone and let me into an open club. The satisfaction in her mannerism was disgustingly abusive. Good thing the manager spoke to her 🤔

Its a cool gym to do cardio and a quick hour workout, but its too small for me. So ill try out the other Planet Fitnesses.

3/22 Gone twice during current business open hours and it was closed. Today they open at “4am” got there at 5:30am and it was completely empty closed. No signs on why they didn’t open. Pretty frustrating, waisting my resources and time. I guess people don’t show up to work? Half the machines are broken and I’ve only been a member for about a month. They can take the money but can’t even open the gyms4/2 - 5:37 Am Friday morning. Gym closed again. Seen at least 10 other cars pull up and leave because the gym was closed instead of being opened at 4am. Give me a spare and I’ll open it till someone could get here or something. Jeez.

This is a great gym to join. If you can afford the Black card, you can use any PF anywhere. You can also use the hydro-massage beds, chairs (my fav), and even tanning and body improvement rooms (still not sure what that is). The only scam is that unless you give them a credit card (and not doing the Black card), its not the advertised $10/month but $200 for a year. That was the only thing that angered me in the first days. Before Covid, I went as dads guest (another perk of the Black card). I personally joined first of June so I could exercise inside and not outside in Phoenix heat and monsoon humidity!Everyone there is great. For the most part it is a judgement-free zone.

Didnt have a pool or Sauna or ANY classes like Yoga. It was good on the pocketbook at the time. I. Joined a different gym

We no longer live anywhere near a Planet Fitness location, and wouldn’t go to a gym during the pandemic because my family members have medical conditions that put them at high risk. The employees at this location refused to accept the cancellation of our membership in any safe or remote manner, and are essentially threatening legal (collection) action if we don’t continue to pay them for perpetual gym access now that we live 2 states away and are sheltered in place during this global crisis, unless we visit the nearest post office (which was recently closed due to a COVID outbreak), in order to notify them by certified mail. Deplorable.

Adam is an awful employee. He neglected to assist with the new app when attempting to bring in a guest. He denied bathroom access to my guest because we hadn’t figured out the app yet. After an hour of trying we left but not before we complained about his lack of helpfulness. But he stated, “go ahead, try and get me fired. I don’t like my job anyway!” Well it really showed Adam. Let’s hope this gets the process started otherwise Planet fitness will be more like planet nincompoop.

U guys need to open 24/7, that is one of the reasons why I signed up. Other gyms open 24/7, I know it’s the pandemic but why take full payments and open half days. It’s frustrating and I’m canceling my membership if this place does open all the way up in few days

Always clean and comfortable! Jerry was such a huge help getting me acquainted with the Black Card spa and some different machines! Im such a newbie to the whole gym environment I had no idea where to start this morning and he was absolutely amazingly helpful!!!

Friendly staff, no judging 😁 this is a big one for me. When I first wanted to start working out I looked into a very popular gym back in late 90 they laughed at me for never have worked out. I WANTED to start working out but that experience saddened me I was 16. It took me YEARS! to finally do it. Panet fitness sais no judging, and I feel comfortable there.Only wish they had more weights and benches. They are always occupied when I go. But its still awesome. 🏋️‍♀️💪

It put you fees that turn out to be double what it claims to be the beginning.

Awesome place to workout

I was a member for 3 years. I recently cancelled due to the low maintenance the company keeps on their equipment. I can attest that the staff is very friendly. Jonathan by far is the sweetest, most caring member there but unfortunately they really need to upgrade some equipment. Planet fitness was the first gym I ever joined and I am thankful for all the great staff IN THIS LOCATION... others not so much...

Came into this facility to workout and was told that I have a huge balance at another facility in which I had not. The guy Jose didnt even apologize he said well cancel both then since you cant afford it. I left the facility so upset but didnt want to give up on my dedication to workout twice a week so I spoke to someone else and got it figured out. While working out I notice someone staring at me as I worked out. I figured this is not a good place to workout the vibe in this place is very weird, the location is not at all great but the website will give you options and I thought close to downtown Glendale would be great since Im new in town but I guess Not. Do not go to this location the staff is Rude a lot of machines are broken as well and no one deserves to feel uncomfortable when their paying their hard earned money.

Been going a few times a week now for a couple weeks and I like this gym. Everyone cleans the equipment after each use which is awesome. Get the black card cause their massage chairs, beds and loungers are super relaxing.

Clean facility, staff are nice and helpful. Gets busy after work hours though. They do have plenty of cardio machines but weightlifting area can become congested. Any other time of day the gym is great.

They kept getting my information wrong when I first signed up. Other then that Ive had no problems. The main reason I chose Planet Fitness was because I can workout 24hrs a day which comes in handy for me because Im an athlete and also a single father and cant always get to the gym when I need to. I have never had much of a problem when it comes to waiting on a machine. Im able to get my workout in and get out. Staff has been polite as well and there is always someone cleaning the place.

From the  moment, I and my friend walked in, this place felt like a home. The owner came at 6 am in order to meet us there with a big smile and was very courteous. The whole staff has been amazing since we started. They are very personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

AMAZING gym! Just was going here to train for an upcoming marathon... the employees are always helpful and friendly.....locker room is always clean showers are large water is HOT and never a wait.... good place for normal people to go work out not a gym for those with any anterior motive for being at the gym (find a date or show off muscles etc.) Membership is almost free its so affordable! I fell safe and comfortable to working out here!

I really have nothing to complain about with Planet Fitness. Im sorry all that happened to you Phil, but I have a copy of my agreement and have never had a problem in this regard. I was clearly told what I would be charged, and when, and including the annual fee.Even if I just went for the massage chairs and beds, my membership would be worth every $20. Thats $5/wk if you just go once a week!Also, if you have Silver Sneakers through your health insurance, you definitely benefit from Planet Fitness perks.

Whenever Im able to go to the gym, its always in tip top shape. The locker rooms are clean, all of the equipment is ready for use, and all the dumbbells are on the racks. When its time to go, they say Have a nice day which is very kind.

I love coming to this gym and especially this location. I switched over form LA Fitness simply for the fact it just wasnt my type of scene, it looked like everyone was in shape already, full makeup and a pickup scene. I changed to this location and no matter the day or the time of day I go, its always REAL people exercising, not chatting, not taking selfies. The best part is the hydro massage, i usually get those after my workout. Would love to have a sauna in the facilities though.

I like this location. Ive gone there at various times of day and dont seem to have any issue using the equipment Id like. Everything appears clean and in good working order.

I have been a PF member for a few years. This is by far the WORST one I have visited. The locker room is SO dirty- from the moment you walk in you can visibly see trash and dirt on the floor- the toilet and showers look like they haven?t been cleaned in days! It is just horrible! It?s like no one is checking to see if the staff is doing their jobs. Highly unacceptable, I was not even able to get ready for work due to the condition of that place. I now have to drive additional miles just to take a shower

Ive been going to this gym almost about 5 months consistently. I feel as it is like my second home. I would give a truthful review. I take workout very seriously, therefore I disliked the fact that sometimes there are candy wrappers lying on the machines containers. I also do not see the point of having candies inside a workout place. The space and the equipment could be limiting around the evening. It is not ideal place for personal workout style for walking and jumping around. Other than that, this place is friendly. For my personal experience, there are small judgements, but it doesnt bother me.

Good gym. Open 24 hours. There is no child care. The staff is very friendly even when you are there late at night. I have the black card membership so I get to use all the extras they have like the hydro-massage, tanning, massage chairs and I get to bring a guest. My guest can also take any class with me. All classes and personal trainers are free with the membership. It is a great place to workout.

This is such a great gym! The customer service is always outstanding and staff and manager are very nice. Extremely clean for a gym never send anything like it 😮 highly recommend!

I love the friendly staff and how clean it is. A very relaxed atmosphere. I can work as much or as little as I want. Staff are always available to answer questions regarding machines or certain exercises or routines. I cant imaging going anywhere else

I was visiting from out of town. I went at 2am and the guy working was so kind and professional.(wish I had asked his name) I felt safe and at home. I am very happy with my membership so far.

I really like planet fitness because has aforable monthly feel and best thing i can bring my son with me while i am exercised.

Ive been going to the glendale location for 6 months and i lost 42lbs from just working out everyday. The staff are so nice and polite, the gym is so CLEAN all the time then other locations that i have been to and i just feel so confident being able to go to the gym for either 30 minutes or an hour 😊 planet fitness, i HIGHLY suggust if you can build a childrens daycare room inside so parents can still get a workout while their children are in a daycare room for either 30 minutes to an hour. This will also help parents who struggle coming to the gym alone on their own spare time its just a big thought i love the gym but it is hard to go to the gym while im with my children . thank you!

Clean, Very Large Variety Of Equipment To Choose From. Very Polite Workers.

The upside: Early to midday is usually not very crowded. The lounge area is also nice.The downside: A lot of their equipment is sub-par. The smith machines squeak like they need WD40. Some curling bars are loose, and unfortunately, a lot of their machines only go up to a very low weight compared to other PF locations.

Monica Reyes the general manager in Glendale, Phx was very kind and handled my issue with the utmost care. I came into planet fitness quite upset but Monica knew exactly what to do and was very quick as well. She is definitely an essential and excellent asset to the company and should definitely be rewarded because she takes time out of her personal day to help with clients issues. By far the best customer service I have received. Jerry Herrera, an employee helped me out as well and was completely understanding. Beyond thankful they personally helped me out and were able to do what they could to resolve my problem.

This location is so clean. I joined at another location but after visiting this location this is my new favorite. Staff is friendly and helpful and provides great customer service.

Planet Fitness has been fraudulently charging my bank account for 5 months after i put a stop-payment on them. I loved this gym & just cant believe they would be so shady as to treat people like they are nothing to their business!! Sad & angry!!
