I believe this location must be Under New Management because Ive always taken my car here and up until my last experience have always had customer service. However my last visit I went in because I had a obviously issue with my tire I asked them to check all four tires to make sure that they were okay. they had to order my tire and so therefore didnt put the new tire on right away. Unfortunately they also did not inspect my car the way that I had asked them to. now two weeks later I now have a gouge in my tire and another one that is not drivable which would have been found during an inspection had they actually done one. When I picked the car up they told me it had been done. Silly me thinking they actually did what they told me done.

Best place ever for car care. I made my appointment with ease online. Got there and decided to wait. Even though it was a busy Friday afternoon, they were still able to get my my car in and done without taking forever. Theyre super friendly, knowledgeable, and didnt overcharge. Yay thats a bonus. This shop is amazing!!! I read a lot of bad reviews and couldnt understand why?...so i decided to check BigOTires out for myself. I have a 2019 Hyundai Sonata and my tire size is 205/65 R16 95H, I spent hours searching up a good company with great tires at an affordable price and warranty and kept getting ridiculous prices from big companies. Well baby let me tell you I received outstanding customer service..superb workmanship by the crew...fantastic tires..a great deal and some funny jokes 😂. Victor Diaz took very good care of my car. The tires selected were Aspen GT-AS...so far so good they sound amazing on the road and they feel comfortable on my car as I am driving. I was in and out within an hour!! Worst thing to be closed on a holiday especially with a emergency.

In both of my visits the mechanics forgot to put parts back on my vehicle, my first trip the mechanics disconnected my EGR system and vacuum hoses were laying down. They also stated they did an inspection and my vehicle was only having an issue with the left boot being ripped. A few days later my vehicle was running horribly and shaking, I called and scheduled an appointment. By the time I was able to make it 10 + days after the service the mechanics at Pep Boys reattached my hoses and also noticed a cracked motor mount where my engine had started shaking. They also did not reattach my air filter Housing (Which was broken open) or its bolts. One of the guys also busted his finger up and I assisted him medically, they still charged me full price for an oil change and did no alignment or rotation. I felt so bad for the mechanic, nobody paid any attention to him and he sat there being told to wait and that he was fine. He has major damage to his nerve in his finger and told me he still has loss of sensation . Luckily one of the guys decided to take him in his own vehicle to the hospital. That occurred on December 29th.The second trip after I had a mechanic at Pep Boys diagnose and reattach the hoses and my air filter to my vehicle the manager at Big O Tires offered to do another oil change free of charge, I stated to him do not touch any filters please leave everything as it is because of what happened already. At the end of the oil change the mechanic brought to filters out and even though it was clean and new 16 days ago it was covered in black dust and they told me I needed to buy another one. I left the shop after everything was finished and the mechanics called me stating they had my air filter still. This is the most unprofessional shop and service I have ever received in the state of Arizona. I frankly believe them disconnecting my hoses contributed to my cracked motor mount as well as other issues due to my EGR system being disconnected. I cannot express my frustration any more than I have. I am very disappointed.This is by far the worst review I have written for Google Maps, sadly I will never return to this location.I routinely visit Sears for my oil changes but due to their store closures I gave Big O Tires and opportunity. Last month Sears replaced my air filter and inspected my vehicle, yet somehow a boot became torn and an EGR system became disconnected, and my air filter became filthy. I took my gf here as I had had good service here for years. She got 4 new tires on Monday. On Thursday 2 of the 4 tires popped. Got the car towed to big o and was told she ran over something.. no holes in tread and the tire separated from the rim. Rims scraped up pretty bad..And she had to rent a car to get to work . The new joke is we cant go more than ten mph around any corner or the tires will pop..Ive gone to this store over many years...NEVER AGAIN. they should stand by their work and not sell the warranty. This was entirely their fault. TRUST ME SPEND THE EXTRA $ AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE ON EARTH!!.PEACE OF MIND IS PRICELESS!................. responded to the message below with pix and a phone number....no reply....also sent pix and this review to the phone number listed....no reply...this reply given by the big O robot looks great on paper but as of 8-29-17....no reply from any communication Ive sent with receipts and invoices....as of 9-13-17 no response from anyone..as of 1-15-18 no response and the New tires loose air pressure constantly.

I am always treated well here at Big O at 51st ave and Peoria . They treat my vehicles like they were the technicians own vehicles. Never gauging me or trying to upsell things I dont need. Great place for vehicle maintenance 👍

Brought it in with missing shims and needed alignment got it back shims still missing &was told control arm needs a tack weld at the frame had that done at my guy within 30min. I take it back to big o so they can do what I already paid for 2 months ago and they tell me the tech who worked on it was sent home early because its slow day for them so I wonder and ask is that only one they aint got nobody who can take care of it except the guy that didnt do it correctly the 1st time. Then I was told I get coupon price on alignment thats when I almost snapped because it wasnt done correctly 1st time . I am now currently in progress of having them answer for it and if handled by big o correctly I will retract this review to be my account 100% accurate

Dave is a very dishonest sales person who lacks customer services skills and integrity. I went in for a simple oil change and was sold the most expensive oil change on the menu. After referring friends, family and neighbors to this Big O Tires Store on Peoria for years, I will now discourage everyone I know and come into contact with from using their services based off of the encounter I had with them. In times like these you hope to see the good in people but there is always a wolf waiting in the wing for fresh prey. After speaking with my father who I referred to them last week, and a neighbor who he referred to them within the same week, we all came to the same conclusion and that is we were all ripped off royally. Dave is shameless and ruthless in his sales tactics with a side of slick rudeness. Whether you are young, elderly, a man or woman it really doesnt matter you are fair game to be hustled. This is a warning to all please find another trustworthy business to invest your money in, you will actually get better service and the products you pay for. But if youre looking to be taken advantage of, lied to and then ignored this is the place for you!!!! Ill be taking my business and referrals elsewhere.

((Untrustworthy)) 3 years ago I had a bad experience with thier service. But now 03/31/19 I decided to to give this store location a second chance. I dropped off my truck for a routine oil change and tire rotation but one thing I do before dropping off my vehicles is numbering each tire with a sharpie pen. After paying my fee I walked out and noticed that my tires were still not rotated so I walked back in to ask why? They told me that the tires were too low on air...so I told them to air them up and that I would even pay the difference since I had already paid for the full service. Then the guy in charge told me that the tread was too low so we both walked out to my truck to inspect the tires. He was totally silent looking at my tires as I told him that they were in good condition with plenty of tread. I told him that in my profession of 15 years as a truck driver it is my job to inspect my tires for safety on the road ...so I took my truck to the boys at Discount Tire Co. and was told that my tires were at 11/32 tread depth with years of life still left in them. Besides being cheated by BigOTires was the fact that they were actually going to allow me to just simply drive away trusting them thinking that they had performed all services that I paid them to do. If the lies that BigOTires told me for not rotating my tires were true...it would mean that they would have let me drive away with tires that were endangering my safety and the safety of others on the road instead of warning me or offering me to purchase a new set of tires instead they were more interested in saving time to crank out more vehicles by skipping services and thus making more money from innocent unsuspecting victims. These boys at BigOTires on 51st Avenue and Peoria ave cannot be trusted. I included photos of my tires so everyone can see all the good tread they have and not the lies they claimed and I also included a photo of service rendered after paying them which includes (tire rotation). Had I not numbered my tires they would have fooled me into trusting them that they rotated my tires and driven away and also destroying my tires. They pulled the same exact trick 3 years ago which is why I numbered my tires hoping that just maybe they possibly just had bad apples working for BigOtires at that time but this practice obviously still goes on at that store! I would avoid this store or at least keep an eye on thier service to make sure that they do not cheat you too! ((Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...shame on me.))

Was on my way home when my tire blew out and I was close to Big O, so I just pulled in there. I had my baby with me and needed to get home. Phillip had me in and out in 20 mins! I will be going back to see him whenever I need tires.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few of our vehicles and have never had any issues. My reason for this review is today they went above and beyond. Our brother took one of our vehicles elsewhere and had an oil change that left some things loose and created an oil leak. We came back to our original spot and they were honest! Tightened it up, topped off our oil and only charged us a minimal fee! Thank you guys for that!!

Pretty quick and painless experience for me! I scheduled an appointment online for an alignment after I replaced the struts on my suv. Showed up and only took about an hour. So I just went in to the showroom of this Location and of the 3 employees inside, none were wearing a mask of any type. The employees outside were not wearing any PPE either. I didnt feel safe at all. I thought the city of Glendale had a mask ordinance. So sad they dont care about their customers.

I had an emergency. My car overheated while driving. Immediately took it to BigO to get checked out. Turns out it was the thermostat. They took my car in right away and got me back on the road the same day.

Phil and the Big O Team are GREAT! I am a frequent flyer at this location and they always treat me and my family right. This is the only place I will bring my truck for service.

Purchased 4 tires. Specifically told them to save the best of the two on the rear wheels for the spare, and to replace the trashed tire in the trunk. (shredded). Lo and behold, the shredded tire is still in the trunk, so i lost a perfectly good spare tire. Pay attention to details.

I thought I would try this place based on a coupon offer. Rep had no less than THREE opportunities to explain the coupon but kept putting me off until the work was done. When I arrived, I was the only customer, so I was surprised it took more than an hour, but no worries, not in a rush. (45 min. into the oil change the place packed, but I was first). I was shocked and was billed for the most expensive oil change I have ever had done. The bill was handed to me, but not my key. I had to motion for me key to get that back. Guess my trial of this biz has an obvious conclusion. I will not be using them for oil changes again and I certainly wouldnt trust them to be fair with tires. Ouch. So angry.THREE very simple things they could have done to prevent this problem: 1. Explain coupons the moment they are presented. 2. Be HONEST and up front about actual price BEFORE the work is done. 3. Dont put off a customers questions about price if you know you plan to drop a bombshell. Without doing these three things, the result is a clear case of bait and switch.

I recently got a new car after bricking the engine in my old one. Im really trying to stay on top of maintenance for this one and make sure I take care of it as it has high miles for a 2012 model. Every time I go in, the technicians are very clear about what needs to be done and answer my questions about cost quickly and up front. One technician, David, is fantastic and he always goes above and beyond. He answers my questions and explains the systems in the car that require the maintenance so that I have context. He also put replacement parts on my bumper that I brought in at no charge. This shop is amazing and very good about getting my car in and out. Would really recommend them.

Way more expensive for standard tires. Customer service was polite but $300 more than locally owned tire shop. Even though you buy thier tires you still pay almost $20 per tire for installation.

I was just way over charged for a simple mount and balance. Not only will I never do business with this store, I will no longer do business with any Big O Tire store. Sad, they used to be reasonable people.

Steer clear of this place! Chances are you will be spending a long time waiting while your vehicle just sits there for hours. Just go to Discount Tire.I called to make an appointment and they told me it was unnecessary and to just come in any time. The next day I came in at noon. I wanted my cars wheels switched from a set of ugly steel wheels to a set of aluminum while keeping the tires I still had on there. The initial guy seemed confused by this. Another tech then explained it all again to him real slowly. The fact that he seemed so confused about this was a bit concerning. I was then told that it would take two hours. I brought up the fact that I was denied an appointment and the tech told me that appointments are only for oil changes. This place does brakes and suspension work. Does that mean that if I had called for a brake job I wouldnt be allowed to make an appointment for that either? Seems ridiculous. Maybe they dont know how a schedule works but it just seems bizarre how unorganized this place is. Management needs some time management and organizational training. After three hours of hearing nothing about my vehicle I went to go check on my car. Three hours and they hadnt even touched it. Needless to say I then scheduled an appointment at Discount Tire, who got the job done in 40 minutes.

These two gentlemen that helped me out advised me on multiple things, how to save on tires, that I could use my synchrony charge card there, advise on checking my tires, free tire rotation.. etc. I am very pleased with the whole service provided. Way to go, to impress me.

So I call last Friday and order my tires with the manager and everything seems ok. I drop the car off Saturday and when I come to pick it up, they put the wrong tires on my car and ask me to come back Wednesday. Ok cool I’m upset but mistakes happen. Well I come to the shop today and they manager says he doesn’t know why they let me leave with my car with the wrong tires and now those tires are useless to him, sorry I need my car and you made the mistake not me. Now they want to charge me even more, way more than the price I was quoted and not even try to make it right with me at all. I will never go here again. I knew I should have went to discount tire because I never had a problem with them, and if I did they would make it right. Such a joke of a company. Do not take your car here EVER.

I arrived at the place at approximately 4:30 pm and they didnt attend me because it was too late and they had many cars waiting. I only saw a car there was no more waiting. It was more than 1 hour before they closed and they didnt even worry about asking me what I need

Refused to honor tire warranty sent me to a different location

Went to have a tire fixed, but nail was in a spot that the tire was ruined. Asked if warranty would cover that and they said yes. They put it back on, aired it up and didnt charge me for anything. Took it to the dealership where I bought the tires and warranty covered most of the replacement. Thats doing what is right for the customer!

Over promise and under deliver on schedule and timing, despite calling before bringing in my vehicle. Poor communication on overall price from sales guys at front desk, leaving me surprised and blindsided at time to pay. I want to work with businesses who respect my time and I can trust, and this location let me down me on both accounts.

I had to replace 2tires and one was defective. I bought the best tires with the best warranty and had a big hassle from the manufacturer for a defective tire. Finally the manufacturer gave a free tire(tire was 2months old) only 25 miles on it. Also made and appt. to get the tires switched and waited 2hours. Everyone went to lunch at the same time. They come back are in a hurry and do NOT put any sealant on my tire and rim. Get up next morning and the tire is flat. Pumped it up and next day it is flat. I don’t know who is not doing their job properly. I will not return there at anytime for anything.

Outstanding customer service. The staff found out my rim size was an inch bigger than they anticipated and they upgraded me to the next larger tire size at no additional cost. (Saving me $120) Also Phil at Big O is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly when dealing with customers. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing tires or general work done to their vehicle.

Horrible experience! After the alignment was done they tell me I have loose parts. So now Im stuck paying for an alignment that wasnt done correctly and to fix the front end issues. They said they have to do the work or Ill loose the warranty and get stuck paying for another alignment. A steering wheel that was centered prior to them performing the alignment is now way off!

I love the free air check, and they let you know when to replace the tires... better than learning about it when one blows out on the highway going 70 mph wouldn’t you say?

The work was good but the communication was horrible. Because of this, I had to make 2 unnecessary trips to the store. They tell everyone they vehicle will be ready at 4pm. Thats because they close at 4. I suggest that you go at 3pm, just in case you need something they didnt tell you youd need. That will allow you to gather the information and return before they close.

This is my go to shop. The owner is a great guy, very personable and straightforward. The staff does a great job with my car every time. I always feel like they are looking out for my safety and alerting me to potential issues. I never feel like Im being sold on something I dont need. Great team!

Its been nearly 2 hours since my appointment and the car isnt even in yet. Im just here for an oil change. Its routine and it doesnt take long. I dont know in what world you should have to plan your morning and afternoon around an oil change but here I am anyways. Why would you even schedule an appointment that you realistically cant take?

Eddie at the counter was a great help he works hard and fast ask for him at this location. I rate a 10/10 for customer service, prices and quickness even on a Sunday highly Recommend. Carfull for the assistant manager he will try to sell u stuff u don’t need and is very snappy at the employees.

The guys here are super nice. They showed me the parts and explained the work step by step. My special tires werent in stock, but the owner drove to pick them up and deliver them to the store himself on his day off. Really went the extra mile. I will be back the next time I need tires or brakes.

After spending $1800 to get the suspension and components replaced on my truck, I had to return 3 times for various problems that havent been fixed. First return was to correct the steering wheel after all work was done. It was turned far right while going straight. The second time I returned was for the right sway bar link not being installed. There was no nut or washer present and after a 4 hour wait, yes 4 hours, they put a new nut on. While driving home, my truck was pulling hard to the right. Which leads me to believe the alignment was done without this sway bar bolt being installed originally. I immediately called and told them the problem. I returned the following day to get this corrected. The assistant manager said he would not be able to get to me that day. Stating that his guy was so busy. After a brief conversation about what had been going on, he finally decided to have the alignment checked, but he wasnt happy about doing so. The print out proved that the alignment was way off and he said to come back the next day, as he didnt have time to correct the issue. WOW. Absolutely the worst customer service. The work of the mechanic is sub par and it shows due to the workmanship. I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever. I have to take my truck to another shop to check the work that was done, as I cannot trust that more parts were not properly installed.

Horrible experience with my 08 Titan started off getting front shocks for my truck “Monroe “ great shocks for a good 3k miles then one shock blew they replaced it then the other side blew they replaced it as well . Then I had them install rough country’s 3 inch lift and they installed sway bar bushings and the links they put in were wrong not once not twice but 3 times and to top it I also had both shocks go bad once again and now trying to work things out with the manager to make things better and the greatest thing that happened tonight was the link fell off while driving and risked my life so do not have them work on any type of suspension or steering not worth it .

I would love to say something nice about this place because the staff is friendly, but everytime I have gone it has been a hassle. Both times I have made an appointment for an oil change it has take 2-4 hours to get it done. One time they blamed short staff, but they didnt even have oil filters so it took another hour for them to send someone to pick up a filter from another store. What made it even more frustrating is that they kept quoting me only 30 more minutes and it was never true. This left me stuck in the waiting room all day. I tried once more, and made an appointment again and was left in the waiting room again for 2 hours. It would be more understandable if I was just a walk-in, but I was not. When I told the owner about my concerns he replied with whaaat? And then quickly changed the topic to Christmas. I am in customer service and understand when things get busy, but I was alone at the store for most of my 2 hours there. I never do reviews, but this store is incredibly inefficient and does not care about their customers waiting. The two stars was given because I believe that they have nice staff. However, I would not recommend going unless you have all day to wait for a simple oil change!

The prices are great, but there’s definitely room for improvement at this specific location. I dropped my car off at 11 am per what the associate told me when I made my appointment to get my oil changed. I got there at 10:50 am and let him know it would be a drop off and I would be back before they closed. I only knew they closed at 4 pm because I looked online. I’m sure it’s posted on the door, but if they have a problem with people showing up late then they need to reiterate that they close at 4 and all cars need to be picked up by a certain time. I had a few errands to run and received a phone call and a text 45 mins later. I missed the phone call as my phone was on vibrate. I however got the voicemail AND the text. I was on my way back with my ride to pick up my car when I got another phone call at 3:05 pm. The guy who called me, I believe his name was David, and said that my car was ready. Before I could even say I was on my way he says in a snotty tone “oh and by the way we close at 4”. I told him yes, I knew, and that I was on my way and would be there soon. My ride missed the turn and we noticed my cars window was rolled down. I got there at 3:30. I walked up and said I was there to pick up my car WITH THE WINDOWS ROLLED DOWN. The guy who called me was at the desk and again had a snotty tone with me. “Well we thought you would be right back”. I NEVER said I would be back immediately once my car was finished and bluntly told him that. I also mentioned that it’s rude to leave the windows down in someone’s car and he’s like “oh yeah I’ll mention it to the guy”. I go out to my car (not that it would matter since my windows were rolled down) and it’s UNLOCKED. My car had been sitting there for about 3 hours that way. Okay man. I just spent $50 at your business and you can’t even lock my car when you’re done? Good thing I don’t keep anything of value in my car. I’ll go back, but NOT to this location. 😑🙄

The worse ever. 4 tires went bad at the same time. They blamed my shock, and the roads. Ford, discount tire and Jack wheel alignment all laughed. Then they wanted to give me the exact same tires at a cost with no repairs to the shocks but they were willing to sell me a new air pressure sensor that was on only because they under inflated the tire

This location makes you feel like one of the family. I needed 4 tires in a pinch in and out less than 30 minutes with no appointment. I needed a battery on different occasion, again no appointment in and out in less than 15 minutes. No repeat issues. No up sales. Done right the first time.

I sat for 3 hours and my car was not looked at and I was not told I would be waiting so long. Then they immediately pulled it in to inspect and told me I needed new front rotors and pads and they would clean up the rear brakes which were in good condition all for about $450.00. I called another shop and the same parts and labor was $180.00. Unbelievable. Another customer was told she needed new tires and today was the last day for their buy 2 get 2 free for her 14 tires and they wanted $450.00 which included tire insurance, balance and front end alignment. With their sale on tires they should have been $200.00 at the most and a $45.00 alignment. Again, unbelievable! Stay away from this place.

Did a good job, but I dont know why I had a coupon for 19.95 oil change and my 2003 Ford f-150 has an extra qt. Of oil? That boosted it to 29.95 that was kinda bogus 10 dollars for a qt of oil???

They fit me in for a same-day oil change and the staff were professional. When they called to advise that it was ready, their recommendations were reasonable with no pressure and no feeling of upsell. Thank you

Pretty upset with my first time coming here made appointment for 12 when I got their the front desk guy asked for my keys and said he needed my license plate number I told him I can give it to him without going outside to get it and he said no he is trying to waste time so he goes outside doesn’t even walk over to My vehicle and starts smoking . Do that stuff on your break not when I’m trying to get my oil change. When I got home I checked my oil and they didn’t even drain out all my old oil shows old oil on the tip of my dipstick ...

After making an appointment on sat that they were unable to keep, we showed up first thing Sunday at 10:00 when they opened. we had two new tires and brakes. we left two cars there, came back at 3:30. we watched them bring in some one s car who just got there at 3:00. started working on his tires, as our second car was still in the air not even finished with our oil change. no tires either. once we said something to the manager, they started than finishing up our car. we finally left with both cars down at 4:30. horrible. will never go there again. ever.

Came in to see if they could fix my tires on my dolly the guy looked at it and said cant help, we dont do those. Seen 3 guys sitting around doing nothing, apparently they dont want business. No one wearing mask either.
