This man is honest and great the customer service literally had me. I went in to look and ended up buying an amp. I had no intentions but when he explained it it wasn’t like audio express saying like “that won’t work” and then you end up spending more money than needed. His price is competitive and he knows what he’s doing! I really like this place and I have been going through audio express for 9 years… 9 horrible years of bad audioThank you maximum for correctly installing car audio.And I don’t do reviews so me having to spend 10 minutes typing this out on a day off is a lot but this man gets my review anyday

Ive been here twice now. The people here are awesome and super helpful and friendly. I needed a part for my door that I accidentally broke and they noticed it during speaker install, they drove to the dealership to get the part for me. Very cool people. Make me feel like I dont have to worry about anything. New speakers sound great!!! Highly recommend checking this place out first before going anywhere else

Install was quick, they bought me a soda and and let me know everything I absolutely needed as well as what I could add if I wanted. These guys are first rate. They take care of me every time. I’ve had many vehicles outfitted with new tech and sound equipment and the pricing is always right on and they get my in and out. Mike and the team will take care of you!

My dad and I have been coming to them for years but their quality has dropped drastically. I live in San Diego and would drive here for but never again. I had them install a sub, speakers with an amp and a new deck. It’s been nothing but problems. The first amp they used for my speakers went out. The second amp has not given me the sound that I wanted. My speakers clipped, and now the newer amp they installed a while back has been nothing but problems. I’m out of whatever warranty window I had so I’m just going to pay a local shop out here to pull everything out and redo it. I think the most frustrating thing was after having to drive back from San Diego TWICE in a week for them to rectify the situation, I was charged the difference for an awful amp. I paid more in gas, lost wages at work, my time and wear and tear on my car. We won’t ever be returning.

Came here again to get my deck installed. One of my speakers was blown and I didn’t purchase it here and the old man who is awesome by the way helped me unscrew actually pretty much Unscrewed the box which was custom and had a ton of screws and took it out waited till I got the new speaker and installed it for free. I can’t say much more other than he is a great guy and went above and beyond his obligations. Obviously s great place to take your car the old man goes above and beyond for you!!

I came in and ask for a system in my car and the guy showed me a 12in speaker with and amp and told me he was gonna make it work great! Then when it was done my car didn’t sound loud at all and blamed me for not telling him my stock stereo that comes with the car Is not loud enough!! He’s the expect and he looked at my car and even after they put the speakers and amp they knew it wasn’t loud and they still want me to pay for that!! I had to pay them 150$ to get my keys back. I will never come back to this place and I warn people to make sure you do your homework on this place and don’t let them rip you off. They just want to make money and not care about the value of there service.

Best shop and prices in phx went in this past month and about 10 years ago and about 15 years ago they do quality sound systems get your $$ worth the boss and son good people . Had them put in a new stereo system in my HHR several years ago. Did an awesome job. I must have bumped something because all of a sudden the BT Audio disappeared so I couldn’t sinc my iPhone. Took it in and they had it back up and running again in no time at no charge. I paid him for his time even though he never asked for anything. Great to use a local small business!

Bought a stereo from them and told them that I could put it in myself, but after messing around for a while I couldnt do it. I called and he said bring it in and they would help me out. They ended up finishing the install and got everything working. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable Id go there again.

I had just signed up to have an install done for my husband as a Father’s Day gift but we all ended up catching Covid and were down for a little over 3 weeks. I wasn’t able to have the audio system installed because we were sick for so long. The virus set us back financially on a few things and this audio lease agreement of $700+ was one of them. Maximum sound graciously refunded us and helped us cancel out the lease with the third-party leasing company although refunds are not part of their policy! This would have hit my credit and made things worse since I would have been unable to pay. Awesome Awesome people here!!! We cannot be more thankful for their help with this situation at a time like this. I will definitely be back once our financial situation improves! Definitely recommend!! Can’t go wrong with an honest respectable company!

Mike and Sami are both pleasant and knowledgeable at what they do. They installed a amplifier and LC2i with bass knob for an extremely reasonable price and quality installation and now I have bass in my 2017 golf GTI. If I could give them more stars I would they’re just that good. They have a Customer for life like so many others in the valley.

Being a newbie in the sound world, I previously had a “backyard” installation on my sound system. After 3 years, my entire sound system stopped working last night in my truck. I looked at everything and it seemed as though my AMP was bad so I took the AMP to Maximum sound the next morning and they did a bench test on it. They determined it was bad and i needed a new one. I dealt with with Mike and he educated me on the AMP that i had and also the new one. Recommended I get all new wires as well. He was super friendly and he knows his stuff! Went in with problem and left with a solution. Everything was installed professionally and my truck sounds better than it ever did in the past! I cant believe the difference. Thank you Mike! I will definitely be back in the future and I recommend Maximum Sound to everyone. Dont waste your time anywhere else, you wont regret it.

The owner is the best hands down. He was very polite. I thought I needed a cd player to go with my system, instead if me wasting my money on one all I needed was a converter since I wanted to keep my factory for my back up camera. No one explained this to me at audio express. I was grateful for the owners honesty. Im very satisfied with the way my system sounds.

This place is the best. I came here 12 years ago and had them install a full system on my car. That car got wrecked and I had them reinstall it on my new car and they did it super nice and cheap. Today I came in to get a stereo put in a new ride and they hooked me up again. Their service is top notch and they are very quick, I was able to get it done during my lunch break. Dont take your car anywhere but here, they have been here this long for a reason.

I came to Maximum Sound to get a sub and an amp I had installed as well as to have my deck looked at because I could not get the DVD screen to open up so I could watch movies. I was quoted a very reasonable price and brought my car in. After it was all said and done I expected to pay the agreed upon price and was told i owed less money then quoted. The person helping me told me that there was already a switch installed in my car for the DVD player but I nor the dealer I purchased it from had any idea it was there. They showed me where they switch was and charged me the quoted price minus the cost of the switch and installation. They could have easily charged me for putting the switch in because I had no idea it was already there but they did not which shows they are honest and have integrity. I need to have some more audio work done to my car and I will definately be going back as well as I have referred people to them and will continue to refer people to them. Thank you!

I went here today just to see about having a simple double din stereo installed in my truck. The guy at the front desk told me oh we cant do that the stereo is to big for the dash opening...... yea thats why you cut the dash and put a kit on it to make it fit. I was so dumbfounded and that I told a girl that was waiting forever to get helped to not bother or let them try to do anything because it was so ridiculous they didnt know how to install a simple kit that the other place I went to right after (audio express) did it in 40mins for 120 bucks. Thanks for nothing
