I’ve been living here for a little over a year and still going. As far as rental prices go they are on the high end; however, the area is really what you are paying for.It’s unfortunate that every time I call I almost always get the message machine. Sometimes I would like to speak to someone instead of always submitting a request online. Their online platform is easy to use and is helpful for submitting maintenance requests and see rent payment breakdown. When it comes to maintenance their team is friendly and attentive, however I would appreciate a card of a summary of what was done or something left to say that they were there if they come while I am gone. By far victor on the maintenance team is the best!! He was helpful explained everything and was kind enough to check in prior.The complex has wonderful community events that I enjoy. They also have nice community areas. They last summer remodeled many of these areas. Overall I’ve enjoyed living here.
Very nice apartments. Great pool. I also love that our apartment has a gas stove. Staff is friendly and we’ve always enjoyed working with site manager. Great location and super easy access to freeway. We’ve enjoyed living here.
Great location next to Westgate. The complex has a lot of potential, but there are some major cleanliness issues in my opinion. First, the hallway floor is absolutely disgusting dirty. We moved in on July 5, and were told it was a project being done by an outside vendor, and that buildings 1&2 were already done. It’s been almost a month and building 4 has not been touched. I’m embarrassed to have company over at this point. They have valet trash which is a great idea, but they don’t come every day and they don’t pick up everything, so the halls get stinky and the garbage corrals become dirty and overloaded. While the pool area is beautiful, the cushions are very dirty and stained. I feel that the image they are projecting and the cost of rent are not reflected in the reality of the community.On the positive, our personal apartment is beautiful and was remodeled right before we moved in. The layout is pretty good and the appliances are great! My favorite part is there is a gas stove which is nearly impossible to find in an apartment. Also all the staff are very friendly and helpful! They do a great job at planning community events. I also like that the community is very diverse!
Poor maintenance and really expensive lease renewal - I understand that the housing market in the Phoenix metro area is increasing rents everywhere, but I received my lease renewal with an increase of $300 over my current rent. That is really making me consider moving out. Also, I am once again having A/C issues, which the whole unit was replaced last year. I was told yesterday (8/11) that the A/C company would be out to fix it today, and that they would be at my apartment between 9:00 am - 10 am. As a result, I took the day off work because I dont want an unknown company entering my apartment when I am gone. It is now about 3 hours later, and no one has come by my apartment as of yet. I called the office, and they tell me that they would contact the A/C company and then call me back. At this time, I also have not received any call backs from the office, no notification from maintenance, nothing! This might be the final straw that pushes me into moving somewhere else. I am completely dissatisfied with this place. I loved it back when it was still owned by Pillar, but ever since it started being run by Avenue 5, I feel quality of life has gone down, while the nickel and diming has gone up.Update (8/23/2021) - On 8/13, they replaced the compressor of my AC which fixed the issue for about 10 days. Now my A/C is once again blowing warm air, and since it is happening after business hours, I called the maintenance emergency line. After waiting an hour and a half for a response, I dont receive any call backs or replies to that call. I feel as though this place doesnt have emergency maintenance staff, and it is just a regular phone line that leads somewhere else. I really hope they get their act together as this might be the last straw to make me move.
The best part is the pool and other amenities. We come down almost every weekend during the warm days and cook, make friends and watch sports games when they are on. The grills are nice and made cooking much more fun. The fitness room is really nice too. Westgate is also a walk away.
Its a beautiful complex with nice amenities. Theyve started to bring back event, which is great and I hope it continues! To have a fun pool party despite cloudy weather is a wonderful accomplishment!
Great place, great neighborhood and most of all the leasing staff are very polite and helpful. My kids enjoy the pool and patio areas. Very nice grilling areas and beautiful landscape throughout the apartment complex. A love the entertainment attractions around our area which is close by at Westgate.
I have lived here for two and a half years and I have never have any complaints. I would recommend this community. I love the quiet community and the surrounding entertainment area as well. The leasing staff are always so nice as well.
I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and I love it, very spacious. The gym, grill and pool areas are some of our favorite. Lease office staff has excellent customer service. Close to shopping outlets and restaurants.
Was about to move into this complex, now Im not too sure about that decision. The apartment I rented was suppose to ready a few days ago but was told yesterday by Alexis that today it was finally ready to be viewed. I get there all the way from Anthem and I get some story about them not having the keys and instead it will be ready Monday. This is completely unprofessional and inconsiderate and she didnt even have the decency to apologize. How do you plan to draw in business with this type of horrible customer service? Really reconsidering my move into this complex.

I spent 2 years at Zone Luxe. Enjoyed my time there. Love the proximity to the Coyote and Cardinal stadium, Westgate, Tanger and Native has great wings. All within walking distance. The pool and grills are always fun to use!
Honestly the worst Apartments, don’t move here. They’re over priced but the office employees are terrible. Theres been multiple occasions where I have to go to the office because they don’t pick up the phone and when I go in they are sitting there with the phone just ignoring calls. Maintenance guy is the only nice and helpful person. AC keeps leaking and they keep coming to fix it and it starts leaking a few days after. Definitely don’t recommend to anyone unless they get new employees because the current ones suck.
Visited a friend who lives here. Two bedroom apartment is spacious. Has a few extras like a wraparound terrace. Honestly the best thing about this apartment community us its proximity to Westgate. Its literally 3 minutes away.
Great property friendly staff need more maintenance workers but besides that for the price the location is great a walk from the casino or westgate right off the 101 highway great location
You’re paying for the location.The grounds are unkept. Dirty & trash everywhere. I’ve had a cockroach problem that ive been battling since may…. 🤢The community is alright. Everyone minds their business. & ive never had a noise issue.Some sketchy people live here for sure. Had a neighbor upstairs that threw his girlfriends stuff off the ledge & caused a scene. Kinda makes you feel uncomfortable.. but the apartment can’t really control peoples weird behaviors.Staff is very friendly, helpful and quick at communicating back. They do a lot of community events with free food & treats 🤗Parking is great! There are plenty of spots for those of us without an assigned spot.My apartment inside looks nice but you can tell they put a lot of bandaids on things just to get people in. Like I don’t think they spent time repairing things after the last tenant. Scratched up floor, missing lights, holes and scratches in the wall, missing door locks..

Our apartment was recently remodeled and we just moved in July 5th. There were a few hiccups but the team managed it well and the work is either completed or in progress to get completed. UPDATE: only one minor item remains incomplete, but hopeful it gets taken care of soon.Eric from maintenance has been very helpful and I appreciate his attention to making our move comfortable.We are disappointed to see some common areas not up to par, but understand that they are still searching for new maintenance techs. UPDATE- they did clean the pool area and is being taken care of, but still not seeing any plan or attempt to clean the common areas such as hallways and the grounds itself. Everyone is short-handed coming out of Covid shutdowns. Hoping to see the common areas improve over the next few months as staffing levels get back to normal.

If you want to pay extra to live in Section 8 housing, this is the place for you! I moved in when it was run by Pillar. It was nice, neighbors were quite followed lease policies and security gates worked. Since the current property management company took over(less than a year ago). I constantly here noise from my neighbors, they park blocking garages and fire lanes, neighors make auto repairs in the parking lot(a lease violation), and last night thanks to security gates that havent worked in well over a month. The catalytic converter was stolen off my car. Although they charge and claim to be luxurious you might as well save the money and find a cheaper place to rent!

She is one of the reasons I renew my lease again.The new renovations they have done is absolutely amazing and beautiful and the atmosphere here Is amazing everybody is very welcome great place to have family and kids.

Lived here for a little over two years and I honestly loved it. Beautiful and clean complex with really nice people in it. Some of the appliances are a little dated but honestly thats was my only complaint. Their maintenance team is amazing with a less than 24hr turn around time. My husbands job relocated so we had to leave to another complex and I am missing Metro already!

** maintenance and renovation have entered our apartment and balcony multiple times without permission. My girlfriend was greeted by strangers painting our balcony with zero communication while she was cleaning our apartment in the nude. The front desk lady tried to lie and said she sent out an email informing us but I showed her my email and she was unable to pull up the email she sent with a slight look of panic on her face. I requested contact from a manager and was left hanging. Then it happened again. Their maintenance crew does not follow Arizona laws and is completely invasive of your privacy.2021 update: again, my maintenance request was ignored for two weeks. I called a week into it and was told that I would be contacted by maintenance, which made no sense.. and then I finally went in two weeks later to talk to the manager and was told I would have to pay for the Damage Done to my doors. This is understandable even though I have been living here for 5 years, however I was informed that people had entered my apartment 7 days after my maintenance request even though the permission to enter only last 48 hours. This is not the first time my apartment has been invaded by maintenance or renovation Crews. They will absolutely invade your privacy without you even knowing which is so freaking scary. But the absolute lack of communication and them not willing to work with me on pricing or replacing very old doors when they are renovating the entire complex is just gross to me. Add that end with every other terrible thing thats been done to us as tenants and this place is just despicable. If anything goes wrong they just blame their other employees and dont care about solving the issues. Their main priority is letting you know whose fault it was so that they do not feel blamed as a person representing their company. Im honestly so sick of writing reviews about this place but it never seems to get better and only seems to get worse.DONT MOVE HERE!!! Even more issues since the last review. Dog poop left in the hallways, they stopped doing power washes so theres dust, poop, bugs and trash scattered in the hallways. A/c went out and they ignored the work order submitted and I had to physically go to the office to get the repair process started. Then nobody showed up or followed up so I had to call again. Still waiting for someone to show up. Who needs air conditioning in the Phoenix summer anyways? They dont prioritize their residents, they just try and get new people in with flashy promises that they instantly break.4 year resident, Zone Luxe recently bought the property. They have made living here AWFUL! No communication, higher rent, there has been construction since March, they got paint over spray on my vehicles, I had to park in the rocks one night, constant crime due to homeless population nearby and them getting rid of security, I could go on and on. I was told a manager would call me 2 weeks ago to go over the construction schedule that has not been communicated. Bottom of the line appliances. I hope youre not a fan of cooking. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!There were strangers on my back balcony via ladder without notice last week.Edit: Management replied and asked me to contact them but I left this review after contacting them about my concerns. They promised a manager would call me back over two weeks ago.
EDIT:Since new management and the name change, things have been downhill from there. Constant construction and blocked out parking spots at night for dumpsters and work trucks (keep in mind, the parking is already terrible) we even had to park outside of the apartment at native across the street! Not to mention the construction workers have harassed me multiple times while walking to my car....Then, I turned in my 60-day notice to vacate since we are getting a house and the new “management” told me that i have to give them 2 months worth of rent in order to put that notice in??? I’m sorry what!!! I told them no where in my lease agreement does it state that nor will I even think about doing that! She argued with me and even told me to come in while she put her manager on speaker.... LOL the unprofessional attitude towards me on top of the bull sh!t construction has put me over edge! Thank you for turning my 5-star review into a 1-star review!OLD MANAGEMENT REVIEW: just moved in and I am LOVING it! Going from an awful apartment complex in phoenix to this one was a breath of fresh air! Lian helped me through the process, although I wish she had a little bit more personality to her, I enjoyed my experience. My boyfriend and I got a garage and the only thing I can say negatively is that the garage is TINY- if you have anything bigger than a 4 door sedan, dont waste your money! If youre looking for affordable rent and a beautiful complex, Id recommend these apartments!
Ive just reached my first year here & would like to tell you this place is worth looking into. The convenience of the 101 to I10 is what brought me to this property. After getting to know the area better its also great for all my shopping & eating out. And getting to the apartments itself. I have had no problems dealing with the staff or an issue with any maintenance. 100% top notch you cant go wrong.

On August 3 my A/C went out and it does it randomly, We call the Zone lux front desk and maintenance every DAY, EVERY NIGHT because they still haven’t fixed it and it been over a week. Also so one day when when the maintenance dropped of the portable a/c unit they said they would be here the next day at 9am to look at it which idk what they are doing the previous days they came take”fix it” because we had maintenance come like 5 nights in a row just to try and fix it and nothing we live in the 3rd floor sleeping in a 95 degree house days and days and we still gotta pay $1,600 a month and more money for srp and we dont even sleep comfortably and they won’t do nothing about it not even knock off rent a little or nothing we’re still paying for srp trying to keep the AC going and thats money coming out of your pocket and blowing away because the a/c ain’t working for nothing they are helping with nothing idk why im paying on it for nothing we here the problem in the house and they going to the roof, I don’t get it, if it didn’t work the first time second time third time and so on why do they keep doing the same thing we think its in the vent inside the house it keeps making weird noise and i don’t know how they don’t get what they’re doing is obviously not working if there getting calls every night by us, any ways back to the other story when they were supposed to come at 9 AM my friend called off work to stay and they never showed up to fix it🤔 so later that day when me and my other friends got off work we called them and they said we got a wait till Monday. so two days more in a 95° apartments and were paying all this money for SRP, and rent to be wasted on hot air SMH. This will be are Last year here
I have lived here for 5 years and the quality of business and professionalism has severely declined. People leave cigarettes and dog waste everywhere. Finding a parking spot in the evening is impossible.. save your money and live somewhere else. I have never had this many noise complaint issues with a leasing office. For almost 2 years, I complained about our upstairs neighbors and it wasn’t until I called corporate that they gave a formal warning. Now, they are doing extremely noisy renovations with saws, drills, etc at all hours of the day without giving us notice. They never answer their phones either.
My name is Deborah Foster and I have lived at this complex for 2years under the guidelines of Metro @Zanjero since Avenue 5have taken over they are constantly asking for more money I signed a new lease on April with Metro@Zanjoero,, I thought b.Avenueut learned they sold to Avenue 5.They told me I owed a balance of dollarbut when I went in it went up to 60dollars...I will leave when my lease is over..I am 70 years old and very sad that they are not honest or fair.DO NOT MOVE HERE, tookEVER.5 over and constantly
I loved living at Metro. I had a great 2 bedroom, corner unit with wrap around patio. Quiet community, nice neighbors, great area!!!I would have continued living there but I bought a house through their home buyers program....one more thing that was awesome!
I’ve been living here for over a year haven’t had a problem till about two weeks ago. My reserved parking spot keeps on been taken so I’m left with parking in the other side of the apartment complex and walk or have to park at the pizza place across the street. I have talked to the office and they said that after 6pm they can’t do nothing about it. I know it might sound like a little too extra but then why am i paying such a high rent where I was guaranteed at least one parking spot and I am not getting it... there’s no after hours number to call either to deal with this problem.... if you are thinking of moving in here this is something you might want to consider
I lived here with two roommates and it was the perfect setup for us. We liked being close to Westgate and the gym has everything. Only complaint is that it isnt 24 hours. Besides that everything was great. Maintenance is quick and the office staff is friendly.
Love the staff here! Always quick with an answer and very accommodating. Also I think the facilities are well maintained and offer a wide range of use. Cant beat the location either! Also, Ive noticed numerous times there is a staff member picking up trash and dog poop from the community so I think concerns from previous reviews are getting addressed
For the claim of upscale luxury apartments. Be aware they use old outdated ovens that were gas converted and broil works below oven in area that cant be viewed. Washer and Dryer are all low end along with dishwasher that you could buy for 100 bucks. The grounds are not well maintained. My apartment on bottom is used like an ashtray from folks dropping cigarette butts by the bunches over balcony.
I’ve lived here 15 months the property is very well maintained the staff are great maintenance is awesome and the property is very well maintained and I have no problems my neighbors are extremely nice and I think this is excellent value for your money having lived in places that weren’t i didn’t think twice when I renewed my lease
I lived here for a year and my experience was horrible! My garage got broken into. Was changed a extra month on my lease. It’s impossible to communicate with staff and they were very unprofessional. If you consider living here save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
I have been here for several months and I think this place is solid. The pool and grounds seem to always be taken care of. My interaction with the staff consists of just picking up packages but they are always cordial. Gas stoves and dryers were a nice touch. I was hesitant to even view this place based on the reviews but I would at least check it out.
Poor communication and unprofessional staff. Would not recommend this place. Lack of concern from staff....outrageous application fees and administrative fees.

Coming up on almost 2 years living here. At first it seemed great, but there is a bad security problem here and nothing has been done about it. Our garage was been broken into TWICE within a year-my motorcycle was stolen and a set of Taylormades. I know others that have been victims of theft as well.The gate is always broken. They tell you that there are security guards but I NEVER see them, and I get home after midnight. Lately, I literally can NOT find a parking spot.(I’m pretty sure half of these cars are parked here due to the broken gate allowing anyone access.)If I’m paying $1200 a month to live in a gated complex, I should at least be able to park there instead of across the street. Don’t plan on renewing lease.

Good community, staff is helpful and professional. Seems previous issues have been addressed. We have been pleased with our experiences.
The people here are really good. Any maintenance problems are taken care of promptly. They keep it up well also. However with all of that said the noise level from the above apartment is horrible. We live on the second floor. I really think these apartments are poorly constructed. I get that in apartment living at times your going to hear others. But to hear every step they take is way over the chart. With the amount of money they charge its really unreal. My daughter lived in a $900 a month apartment and the noice level was nothing compared to this. I offered the Manager to come up and see for herself. When I asked about moving out the answer was you pay a penalty. I was offered the possibility of moving to another apartment or Pillar community. Of course being in our 60s we would need to hire a mover. Just doesnt seem right. We were told these apartment were built as condos. Dont believe it. We move into a crappy situation and there is no responsibility on there part. Just doesnt seem right. Its all about the money not the person anymore. I BET IF ANY CORPORATE PILLAR PEOPLE SEE THIS THEY WONT RESPOND. if they do I will update the progress. Otherwise my advise is to stay away.
I have called 4 different times talking to employees at metro in concern with the pool closing at 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Its been 3 straight months management has failed to keep the pool open the correct hours that i singed up for when I signed my lease. This is false advertisement and a dissatisfied customer. I have been let down after 3 years being a pillars community customer and very disappointed. It will take a lot for me to gain for me to recommend a friend family member or myself to come back to pillar community.thanks,Bret Walberg
I never write reviews, however I reallly want to tell you to avoid this property at all costs. When you first visit this complex it is impressive, the people are eager to get you to move in, once you are here forget all that, The management changes monthly, one passes the buck to the other. It is a pet friendly community and I love dogs and have one myself but come on the dog crap everywhere and the management does nothing to enforce that pet owners clean up after their dogs. I watch people walk their dogs and just leave the crap. I mentioned this to the management and their response is for me to give them the perpatrators name. How am I supposed to know the names of the other tenants, and why is it my job to police the property? The trash is always overflowing and pieces fly all over the grounds, the grounds crew ride around on golf carts and drive right over it instead of cleaning it up.This is not a LOW RENT DISTRICT and between the crap and trash every where it feels like it. My hall way has had debris blowing through for weeks and stains on the walkway from Lord only knows what for months. I requested that they hose the walkways to the apartments months ago and that has been totally ignored. One of the recent managers assured me it would be handled and then he was gone and the nest manager out and out lied and told me the previous manager never said that they would deal with it at all. Bottom line is the management here are lazy liars. There are other apartment communities in the area my advice is go to one of them.

This apartment complex sucks with their services, l had a contract with them for $925 a month and the bill comes differently every month. The gate doesnt work, the gym is small, and they close at 10. The apartment shakes even when they told us it was built as a condo. Im moving out of here as soon as my lease is over. If you want to cancel your contract you have to pay more then $2000 even if you are not gonig to live there. The gate is small and l scratched my Lexus wheels that are worth $9000 because the entrance where they have their key pad sucks, l dont know how the city even approved the entrance. The truck can not go through it. I think you should think more then 100 times before you move here. I dont want anyone to go through what l have gone through. These people just making a lot of money and they dont even give you a good service.

Manager Brit is super cool. My first impression was very different. She actually factually the PRETTIEST female in AZ/Southwest, but for sure in US., ;) proof is that u will realize she is the standard everyone else cant even compare to! LOL My point... once she familiar w u she super chill & kind....so be cool!! ☝😜Actually EVERYONE else who works for this community almost as cool. In fact Gina, the property manager at the sister property ( Courtney Vista north of Metro) is on point! Very sincere, authentic, and trustworthy. She fine as heck too. I kinda get feeling she the source of the kind, safe, and sincere character ALL Metro and Courtney Vista employees exude.So if u wanna live a a community surrounded by amazing people....FML why heck I moving?????? LOL It has been a pleasure to say the least. 💘Thank you.:)

STAY AWAY...Unless you want to spend a lot money and be treated like crap. I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and it was great for a while but its gone down hill like many other overpriced luxury apartments. The management do not care about the issues you might have. I have complained many times and just get blown off. The new tenates above me make noise all night long and when I tell the office about it, they do nothing. In fact I have been asked everytime if I would like to move to another unit. So instead of moving the new people they would rather move a tenate that is settled in. I also had my hot water heater go out and was told it I wanted hot water to turn my heater on for two minutes before a shower since the water heater passes through it. After multiple compaints and two weeks of cold showers in January I finally was able to get it fixed. If you are looking for a good apartment look somewhere else.
