My girlfriend and I have lived at Cantala for nearly two years and in that time we have enjoyed a comfortable tenancy with very few complaints. Any issues that have come up have been dealt with quickly and professionally by the management team without any unnecessary worry for us. April and Lillia have been great at discussing any questions we have had about apartment living and they are genuinely dedicated to helping their tenants. We are very happy to have found this place and we will be sad to see it go when the time comes to move.

Very nice and quiet friendly along with being dog friendly. Cant really think of any complaints that I have while being here would definitely recommend others for this facility.

I’ve been living at Cantala for a few months now, April was quick to help with quotes on units available and showing different options as far as pricing. We moved into a refurnished apartment with beautiful flooring, sink and appliances. The problems began after a month of living there. Security was called to my unit around 12:30am because they were told someone was playing band instruments coming from our apartment. The security banged loudly twice, obviously scaring me since we had already been in bed with all the lights turned off. When we answered he began recording us without notifying us. He then told us it clearly didn’t sound like it came from our unit. We had a big problem with this, as security clearly said, it did not come from our unit. So why did he continue to bang on our door? Why could he not have made note that all lights and sound was off at the time he arrived? Someone could have called us the next morning and let us know. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the last time that happened. I called the office multiple times, left multiple voicemails as did my boyfriend. None returned. until I finally reached April. I let her know of the situation and she said they would talk to the security guard as this was unacceptable. Months go by, again another complaint. Security was sent out this time at 10:30pm by my upstairs neighbor. My tv volume was too high. My tv was turned all the way down and my sliding door had been opened. Security did the same thing, banged on my door (once this time) proceeded to tell me there was a noise complaint but he said it didn’t seem like it was our tv as he’d been standing outside for some time. Now I’m upset. I’ve emailed the front desk. we are going to see how long it takes for them to respond. I received a notification from the shipping carrier that there was an attempt to deliver my package. I called the front desk multiple times before deciding to walk there to see if my package was there. When I arrived there was someone filling in for April. She was outside on her phone, smoking. She ran inside to give me my package and as soon as i left she closed everything up and continued her phone call/smoke. Ive talked to neighbors that say they’ve experienced the same thing with that lady. Lastly, I continue to pay for amenities such as the pool that has been closed for months. You are also not able to store things on your patio/ have lights outside as you will get a notice. I’m glad my lease is coming to an end as this has not been fair to my boyfriend or myself.

This is a shoutout to Lillie (the Assistant Manager) who helped me in a delicate situation. Her assistance and preparation for my lease renewal was exceptional. She knows her stuff.

I switch apartments to a renovated one and everything was brand new!!New floor, new carpet, new paint, new appliances and lo and behold they even threw in a new kitchen sink!!I Have enjoyed working with both April and Julia. When is covert thing is over I look forward to going to the pool and Jacuzzi again... And the workout area is going to be a must lol🙂😁

I’ve got to say this is a great apartment. I’m a few months into my lease and everyone in the leasing office is super nice and supportive! We haven’t had any issues with living here. This is my first apartment so I do thank Julia and April in the leasing office for being so welcoming with us being newbies at this whole rent thing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to live!

Love how the angles of the rooms help make use of the square footage and adds a spacious feeling. The neutral wall color adds warmth and a coziness. The large patio is nice for sitting and relaxing and talking to neighbors. The 2-bedroom master comes with two closets providing plenty of storage space. Additional ceiling fans in the bedrooms would help increase comfort during the summer months. And advanced notification of water issues would be appreciated. Plenty of pet friendly grassy areas for your pet to play in. Stricter pick up after your pet enforcement would help keep the grounds nicer to look at and walk around on. The office staff is very nice and supportive.

I lived there for one year, I was paying for the remodelled 750sq, theyre not honest the place is not worth what they charge, I had issues every month the remodel is not true, they painted the stuff to make you believe that is it is new but is not. The building is old and doesnt have good quality.

Would give them a 0 if I could. Used to live there for 3 years a few months back and so happy to not live there anymore. It was okay earlier on, but once management changed thats when it really went downhill.They would sometimes go weeks without cleaning the pool and it would turn a gross green color (fitting right?). Never answered the phone, and if they would do so you would have to call MULTIPLE times to get service if you needed maintenance. They gave all the tenants roach extermination but did a lazy job and roaches were still everywhere. Dog owners would let their dogs poop wherever, whenever, and the management would not say anything or do something to stop that. Overall, just a really gross, cramped place.

Let me just say these apartments are really nice inside and the grounds also but the staff especially April the manger is above and beyond! Thank you guys so much!

Nice property !!

They didnt seem too enthusiastic about the property when I took a tour. She didnt want to show me the fitness center apparently nor did she want to take me out to the pool. She just pointed to things beyond the window.The ceiling is dated with popcorn and the walls likely have 30 coats of paint.If the agent isnt enthusiastic about showing the property that gives me a sign. She also mentioned that they are changing management and didnt seem to happy about that.Ill rent elsewhere.

They never answer the phone. Legit called several times and even left emails for them and still have not heard from them. What kind of office staff is this where you cant simply pick up the phone, you guys aint busy all day I see what you guys do, just sit down all day I would appreciate a call back thanks.

I had a great experience at Greentree Apartments I live there for two years. I recently moved out and I was not sure if I was going to get all of my deposit back. Not only did I get all of my deposit back I got almost $200 more. Thank you Tina and all of the maintenance guys you’re awesome!

My experience at Greentree apartment has been great so far when I need something done it has been done right away all I had to do is go into the office and put in a work order with Blanca who runs the office along with another person and it was done either that day or the next by the maintenance men Mario and his crew they keep the apartments grounds pretty neat and its really quiet here theres no Riff Raff and its a really great place to live apartments are great size for first timers if youre looking for a good place alive greentree is the place to live its close it shopping centers an the hospital

Turn and run! Do not live here! The management is ran by a bunch of clowns. I turned in a 30 day notice with my keys. Months later I get a letter saying I was evicted and owe 2 months worth of rent. Just a money grab.

I see a few negative reviews here which saddens me since I like this complex. I dont socialize with my neighbors so I cant tell you if its really friendly neighborhood or not.. However my light that hangs outside my door broke and I put a note on neighbors car asking every so sweetly if hed consider leaving his light on during the night so Id feel safe and dont get kidnapped cause Im paranoid and Im a female college student living alone.. And he did! So that was sweet. I like my apartment. Its very spacious and it comes with a washer and dryer in the unit which is rare. I highly recommend this complex if youre looking and as for electric you do have to pay for that separately but it all depends on you. I only pay $40 per month for my electric bill. :)

Sad to say I just recently moved out. My husband was transferred to Tucson for work :( but if we ever move back to glendale we are moving back to our cute little 2 bedroom apartment... it was quiet and enjoyable. They are great at taking care of needs of they ever do actually come up. I do believe the biggest service request we turned in was our ac went out (or i thought it did) and it turned out the batteries on the thermostat just went out! But regardless they were there with batteries in hand.

Seriously. If you value your life do not move here. The place is nice from inside, but ugly and unsafe from the outside. The manger will tell you is free crime community which is right and have security walking around the complex! ( Free crime community that is correct, but not security, and if there is a security would be a one old guy that do not walk around the properties). The place is completely unsafe. I had brand new car and after moving here my cars have many scratches . Also, people from neighboring apartment complex jump from the fens to the complex and act really suspicious. I am writing this to tell you about some of the facts I have seen. For amount of price you can go somewhere safer and nicer. Not to mentions, some homeless people starting migrating to this place. T-bird stay in dorms dont move here

This place was nice to live at until the end of our lease. Our neighbor smoked awful cigars that reeked and we couldnt even open our window or we would get the smell in our house, he also stood outside all the time just staring and never saying hi. The management was very unorganized and I was informed later on things rather than sooner such as there being a drop box and what not. They also made it impossible to end our lease term. Glad we finally left.

At first I had liked the apartment, but once Bianca left, and I was left to deal with Tina it was nothing but issues. God forbid you have a SERVICE animal whos collar breaks and runs off . she had gave me a fine of $50, and then tried saying I owed $500 from when I first move in .. luckily I kept all my money orders. With the amount of money you will pay, go down the street to one if the several other apartments. Expecially if you have a big dog, or a breed restriction, Tina will make you and your dogs life hell while living there.

This is a great place to live. Tina and Blanca are always friendly and have coffe in the morning. The maintenance men always keep the grounds clean.

Great place. Maintenance is awesome. Had a leak and they were over in what felt like mins to fix. Pools great too.

I lived here 2 years and enjoyed it. The staff is always willing to help correct anything. Dogs are the only problem -- masters cleaning behind themselves. The pool and exercise areas are very usefull. Convenient Internet access for rent payments. Long notice to vacate is requried.

They raise rent every year no matter what. Regardless of devastating personal and/or financial circumstances, regardless of the facts that the properties are never upgraded in any way, the maintenance never gets better, and the front office always opens late & closes early, NO MATTER WHAT, rent keeps going up.

Great place with a nice pool. I have a two bedroom that has internet included in the rent which is pretty cool

They routinely extort their move-outs. I had 5 friends finish their time here at the same time I did, all of us had over $100 to pay in so-called extra cleaning fees. We even cleaned before we left. Tina cares very little for her customers and is a cold, calculating, all business apartment manager. typical.Also, Im pretty sure they write false reviews for themselves. One office person told me she watches the google reviews closely. If there are two or three 5-star reviews within a week of this review, dont believe em. haha.

Money eating company! They try to charge you for any little thing they probably get commission out of it stay away if you’re on a tight budget and don’t expect your deposit back no matter how much you deep clean or do no damage.

Green tree apartments are outstanding. I have had no problems here what so ever living here for almost a year now. Friendly staff. Fast mantience. Very safe, no one is ever looking for problems and everyone keeps to themselves and their patios clean. I dont have any pets but everyone cleans up after a their pets and the community will send out notices if residents arent cleaning up after their pets. I live on the west end of the community it is great because there is no assigned parking and its all covered. There has never been a time I havent had a parking spot close to my apartment. They do a good job of keeping the landscaping up we have a nice field with some trees and a bbq outside of our patio. They do come with free basic cable and Internet, water trash and sewage. Good location very close to everything you might need. No bug problems and the pest control is free. The pool and gym are not too bad they keep it all clean which is really nice. The outside of the apartments are nice they do look a little old but I think they look nice from the outside. The inside are nice as well. The only cons I would say would be the price is a little high compared to some other places but you never know what you get there.The appliances are a little bit outdated but work good. Grey counter tops look a little bit cheap but the kitchen still looks really nice. A little bit small as well. We are thinking about moving into a new 2 bedroom when our lease is up since me and my girlfriend have a little one on the way its going to be nice to have the extra room. I wanted to take the time to write this 5 star review for green tree because they have earned it. Great home and I feel like the things you get here are well worth the money.

With that said please bare with me while I vent a bit:I will never understand why people put issues in their reviews that have nothing to do with the office or staff.With all due respect Rebeccca Clenger, it is not the offices job to make a neighbor smile and say hi it would be nice though if they would.Also, with all due respect you too, Mariah Cabnsis, I believe you are reviewing the wrong community, I have been in the office a few times over the years and heard them tell people on the phone they are sorry they dont take housing vouchers (like HUD & Sec 8) but they do offer a locators number to them.thank you for listening and thank you Greentree for being amazing!
