I will never use this store again. I have used this store for years to have my packages delivered to and pick up. Multiple times my packages have been misplaced. Today I go to pick up my package and an employee named Eric proceeds to tell me that my package is suspicious because he could hear my order rattling around inside and could not identify the company who I ordered from. He told me that all future delivery orders that I order from that company will be rejected. I have literally had the same orders delivered here since 2015 with no issues until recently. Eric has in the past even misplaced my packages and denied even signing for my packages before.He said that I didnt have packages after hes the one who signed for them. I will never use this store again I will go out of my way to go somewhere else before going back here. Eric is unprofessional.
This past week I had an encounter with an employee under the name Eric. I went to pick up my package, which was supposed to be the goldfish from Japan I ordered 4 hours ago. I was very distraught to learn that the man not only lied about not having my package, but to find out that he deep fried the fish that I ordered. This fish was a very expensive fish, as it cost me my entire life savings of $7.46. I never want to be involved with this location ever again, let alone having Eric be responsible for my mail when he is a bigot that lets his personal beliefs get in the way of his job.
The best ever experience, I had been a frequent visitor to the UPS franchise store in Hampden LnBethesda Md 20814 . But the staffs are helpful but the Owner very intimidating and arrogant and the prices are over priced on shipments, But no choice. Always about money . If you show the associates the barcode on the phone, They won’t accept. They want you to email them and to print $ 1 Such a cheap place. 0 Courtesy. Today I have had the best experience with the Owner and the very young dedicated staff with courteous and very helpful, I sent a 22.5 lbs box 📦 to Virginia Tech Blacksburg Va for $ 20 unbelievable.3 months ago I visited the same location to Notarize a document the associate was horrible. This time The Owner was helping me. He earned my business for life . I think that hard headed employee no longer working for the UPS
I dont know who the hell hired Eric, but how do you tell a customer their package is suspicious and you wont be signing for it in the future? Ive been getting packages from there for years and noone has ever said that to me before. Hes lied and told me and others in line that the package has been misplaced or hasnt arrived only for someone else to find it in plain sight. Its unprofessional and I hope everyone stays clear of him when getting helped at the counter. As a matter of fact, dont go there at all. You might actually get your package if you go to another location.If I could give negative stars I would.
Absolutely horrible service. Waited in line while people behind me were served. No one who works there know how to use technology and no one wants to actually provide a service. While I waited for a notarized paper to be handled, they waited on 3 people behind me. Then when I spoke to both associates, neither would notarize my paperwork. They dont do that here, I was told inspite of the signs advertising. So either I was racially discrinated against or they simply do not understand how to serve customers.
Usually when I come in my experience is great however today my experience was heart breaking. I witnessed Matt being more than rude to an elderly man. He was not patient and was very condescending with his responses to this clearly overwhelmed and confused man. He could’ve explained to the man that he printed the wrong label and the steps to correcting this, instead he spoke extremely fast and technical to someone who clearly was not tech savvy. I understand the guy had the wrong label but as someone working the counter and representing UPS Matthew belittled and embarrassed this elderly man. I’m disgusted by his behavior.

I was at this location and witnessed your representative Matt being disrespectful to an elderly customer. The gentleman did not have the correct shipping label. Instead of helping him, Matt was abrupt and not helpful. I was heartbroken. When I attempted to speak with him regarding the situation, he replied “duly noted” in an uncaring manner .This was my first bad experience at this location.,
The manager Matthew was very rude to my wife and I this morning. There at 9:30 to get a few documents notarized. And was told that he couldn’t help until 10:00. He said I could wait until 10:00 and he could then help me.He is the notary. So again I asked why I had wait until 10:00 if he was the notary.His response “ it’s the rules”All answers he gave were short, abrupt, with no wanting to be of any help. Just plan out rude.
Always had a great experience dropping off my packages and asking for a receipt. The workers are friendly. Not sure why so many people have bad experiences and they may need to evaluate that theyre the problem tbh lol.

Last night I made a online print order and paid for it . this afternoon I went to pick it up . This UPS store#1034 rejected my order .They didnt notice me before I came to them and I made a lot of trouble that afternoon .Terrible service!!!!!

Awful Customer Service! Arrived at the store at 2:40 on a Saturday to purchase a small mail box and the associates were closing out their registers and turning away customers so they could leave at exactly 3pm. One lady had 2 boxes that she needed to ship, and only one had the correct shipping label. The manger only accepted the one box and told her due to the time he could not print out the label for the other box, she would need to return on Monday. Then, the same manager told me I need a “work I’d” that had an expiration date on it in order to obtain a mailbox. I stayed to him that not all work ID’s have that (I work for Amazon) he argued me up and down that they all so - I asked for the 800 number to call customer service. I get it if it’s check out time and your ready to go home - just SAY THAT! But don’t be rude and unhelpful to your potential new and existing customers ....I’ll go to the one in Columbia!

My husband and I are having our big wedding at the Aquarium so naturally we made message in a bottle wedding invitations. We managed to personally deliver a bulk of them but there were about 15 we still needed to ship.Eric was awesome from start to finish. When we had gone in a month prior he advised us on how to package the invites based on a prototype we brought in. On the day of the mass shipment, he was the only person working, but somehow managed to efficiently juggle the revolving door of other customers, in between me signing paperwork.Super efficient guy, I feel very comfortable shipping from this location.
Matthew assisted me today in mailing 2 large boxes back to Amazon. I was impressed as he really thought outside the box to find an answer to my issues.
The store manager is very rude and rushy towards customers, I went in the store yesterday around 5:15pm with my husband to have some items shipped and to get something notarized. There were 2 customers at the counter being helped so we waited patiently for our turn, while the manager was still helping the customer he was with he yells out What do you want? Before either of us could respond the manager says No notary after 5:00 now mind you I never got a word out and had a few small packages in my hand and a large envelope so to assume I was there primarily for a notary was rude. This store also does not honor the hours stated on their website as it states notary service is available until 6pm M-F.I am only giving 2 stars because the other staff all act professional and polite. I have been to this location many times to do returns for items bought through amazon and god forbid you need to return more than one or two items while being assisted by the manager he always acts rushy and like its a big deal to scan a few items already packaged. Even though this location is close to my home I think I will start going either the Pasadena or Severna Park location since I have always been treated well there and the store associates always act professional and polite.
Printing is expensive by any standard (1$ page) and they cant view their own label/tracking number to find the sender if you want to return to sender.
Twice Ive dropped off items to be returned to Amazon via their free return service. They scan the QR code and hand me a receipt with the UPS tracking number. Then thats it. There is never any movement through the UPS tracking system other than label created. I called once about it and the owner tells me I have to go back to Amazon. Whats Amazon going to do??

I needed to ship an odd size item and needed a box as well. Both Alex and Jared were extremely helpful and did everything that they could to keep the shipping cost as low as possible. I had been quoted $38 more to ship this same item with another UPS store that did not take the time to measure the item accurately and put it in the smallest box possible which also decreased the shipping amount. Thank you for being so patient and keeping my shipping cost at a more reasonable rate. I will definitely be coming back to this UPS Store location to ship packages instead of my usual location which is closer to my home. I greatly appreciate the time that Alex and Jared took to save me money over convenience of the other location. Thank you!!
To say I am highly upset is a understatement. I shipped out a computer tower from your store in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I had packaged the computer and the UPS Store added the rest of the packing material to secure it.I purchased the insurance, in case it was damaged to have it replaced. The receiver got a damaged package. There was a huge hole in the box, that was never there originally. When he took the computer tower out of the box, the computer would not work. It was discovered the leg of the tower had been damaged, It was pushed up into the graphics card which caused damage to the graphics card and motherboard. UPS invested the computer and found it was damaged in transit but they will not cover the parts or shipping because I did not have it properly packaged. Can you please explain this to me? Your UPS Store was the last people who packaged my box. Did they fail at doing their job? What did I pay insurance for? I can not believe your company operates like this. So NOT only do I have to replace parts, I am out of shipping costs that your company charged me to damage the package I shipped. I have used UPS many many times and never had an issue until NOW. Should I take my business to Fedex? I am in shock of this outcome.
They have shipped everything for me from a return to Amazon to small packages to a large antique sewing machine. They are so helpful. Their packaging is fantastic and everything gets to where its going safely. I cant find a more helpful UPS Store to be honest.
Fantastic staff. I cannot remember the young mans name but he is super polite, respectful, and knowledgeable about UPS. They have all been great. Any time there has been a wait they acknowledged I am there and let me know they will be with me soon. Great location.
The best place ever! The owner is awesome and super involved, the employees are younger but every one of them are awesome as well, they are all so mature and will always go out of their way to help. I used to come once a week or twice a month to ship things but now I set up a house account and go there every day, sometimes I pay more to ship things then using the post office but its worth it because the service is awesome
Worst customer service ever, and a bunch of liars. Bought the insurance, shipment got damaged. Theyve been refusing to pay since February, saying corporate needs to pay, corporate says its up to the store to pay. Basically you pay extra for nothing...
Stopped here for a notary after work at 6:20PM, and was informed notary service ends at 6:00PM. The store closes at 7:00PM. On my way to the Pasadena office instead.
The owner was extremely rude and has been on several occasions. I called after they had provided me with services and asked for the tracking number which was not displayed on the receipt, and he basically said there is nothing he can do for me on the phone until I come in the store. He wouldnt even let me ask my question in regards to the shipment I had made with them and basically cut me off. I will never go back to that store. Its unfortunate that he treats customers who come to patronize his business this way. I am also filingba full compliant with cooperate. Dont go there. Horrible Customer service

The staff at the Glen Burnie UPS store have ALWAYS gone beyond whats expected as a customer. Having a bad experience at The Office Depot with printing materials led me to this store, and there has NEVER been one issue. The staff is efficient, friendly, competent and kind. When the staff noticed I was a frequent customer, they offered me a discount which was a pleasant surprise. Anything I have mailed through this UPS store has arrived in perfect shape. Would highly recommend this business.

Barring other reviews where customers describe their bad experiences under the bias of having arrived at this store unprepared, where somehow a stranger is supposed to solve all of YOUR problems because the customer is ALWAYS right, please let me forgo the standard review and limit my experiences to where the Staff at UPS Store 1034 have gone ABOVE & BEYOND my expectations.With nothing less than ...sure and ...of course, I remember a gentleman in the store helping me individually wrap critical medical supplies for my company. That was a shipment that needed to get to a southern state right away. No frustration, no fret and no problem and it took forever. He didnt have to do that at all. I know that I was not supposed bring in that many piece parts, glass nonetheless! But, the representative responded positively to my time crunch and went to work.Recently, I had to return a cell phone to the manufacturer. After the manager boxed my phone up, I began to depart before I realized that I didnt erase the phone (wild college photos and all)! The manager dug out my box, let me recharge the phone in the store and allowed me to erase it right there so that I wouldnt miss the daily shipment all before a major Holiday! He even remembered to cut out the BOTTOM of the box in order to preserve the label that the manufacturer sent! I missed that because I was in a rush and I wasnt thinking. That was obviously someone that gives a care about what he does! I love this store and I recommend it due to its convenient placement in Glen Burnie and the fact that the Staff really goes out of their way for their customers. I mean, Im greeted before I get to the counter! Dont take my word for it. Go and see for yourself. If it sounds like Im patting the Staff on the back for what they are supposed to do, look at if from my perspective: How many stores have you visited recently where you are made to feel like you are INCONVENIENCING the person behind the counter? I shop where Im respected.

Eric Naim the owner seems to have assumptions of customers regardless of how frequently they come into his business. His two employees, Eric and Jared are always courteous and helpful, especially since I frequent the location sometimes two to three times week because my COMPANY sends packages to this location. Mr Naim never remembers which I find to be quite curious. Today, he took it to a level that really wasnt cool - basically accusing me of getting packages regularly without paying for them and told me I needed to get a mailbox. I explained that my company pays for this EVERYTIME. My issue is he never looked at the label which states shop assistant- he just assumed. Besides the fact he has seen me regularly. Came to drop off a paid postage package, the owner wanted to charge me for printing the label and putting it on the package. I told him the postage is already paid for just need to put the shipping label on. He was like I did not charge your for a paper clip. I was like here is the paper clip and walked out the place. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

I could not be more disappointed with this store and its staff. I shipped a television from their location to my new home in MA, which arrived to me shattered. Upon calling their store I was met with little assistance, and was passed on to their insurance company, who denied my claim because I didnt retain the giant box it was shipped in. After continuing to contact the store for a refund of at least my shipping cost (let alone the cost of my $600 ruined TV) I was abruptly hung up on. Its odd, because when I make mistakes in my line of work, I own those mistakes. Clearly in some organizations, people find it acceptable to just ignore their errors and hope the problem will go away.
Every time I go I have great service and they have me in and out.
Disappointed to say the least. Stopped here to ship a couple cartons using our companys UPS shipping account number. I was told they could not help me or do that. Ive done this same thing from at least three other UPS stores with no problems at all...??? !!!

Notary Services are not offered past 6pm even though they are open until 7pm. Didnt see it listed on the website or the window.
Well, on Saturday they only provide notary service until 2pm, though that is not advertised anywhere unless you walk in at 2:30 and ask.
This store is full of kids that are irresponsible! I paid them to pack and ship items that they destroyed while packing and they shipped the broken items anyway. One of my customers items were broken and missing the broken pieces which had to have been mishandled at the store. I only ship from the Columbia store now!
