They dont have enough staff. I felt bad for the lady that worked the front desk. The woman that took my blood hurt my arm terribly. Told her that she needed to use a butterfly needle because my veins are hard to find and she didnt listen. My first poke was on my outer arm. It was in pain for hours and felt like it was burning. Then she poked me in my hand and was moving around the needle and I know it was done incorrectly. She was nice but didnt seem to know what she was doing. I wont return to this location and I dont recommend it.

I went here to get some general lab work done (just a blood draw) for my dermatologist, and there are a few things Id like to share:-Super convenient check-in. You check in on some monitors, show your IDs, and confirm your information. All on the monitors (just in case that wasnt clear). Some might not like it, but it helps increase efficiency in the office, so I get why theyre used. The process was fairly simple overall.-The receptionist/nurse who checked me in was super friendly and nice.-The nurse who performed my blood draw was the sweetest lady ever! Ive had issues with blood draws in the past. I usually have a 50/50 chance of fainting or feeling faint (vs. feeling fine). She did one of the quickest blood draws Ive ever received, and chat with me the whole way through to help me keep my mind off of it. She was also super friendly, upbeat, and very easy to talk to.I got lucky and didnt have to wait at all, as there were so few patients (I was a walk-in). So while I cant comment on the overall wait time, I would definitely come back if I was asked to do more lab work. And I highly recommend this place for anyone else.

Positive experience for my 3 hour gestational diabetes test. My phlebotomist was Blanch and she was great. She kept track of time and called me back when I had been lost in a book, even though she was seeing many other patients all morning. She also used a small needle out of concern for my arms getting sore. The staff seem kind and efficient. Even other patients waiting were kind and courteous to each other, which is wonderful to see amidst this pandemic. Glad to have come to this location this morning.

This location is the best! Ive been coming here for years. I dont have to come regularly but at least every three months. This location gets more people than you can imagine. its nothing to see 20 and 30 people waiting to be seen here. For the large crowd and the work that they do, I think they do an excellent job. They are professional not happy friendly . They are thorough by not making mistakes by sticking you several times with a needle trying to find a vein. I have the smallest veins ever and they are point on every time. This is the best location you can come to to get your blood work done and get out. Just consider that there are a lot of people that come here. These people wouldnt be coming here if they werent great

If I could give a negative star, I would! Ive been 3 times amd every time they ask for a cc to hold my fees. My insurance covers everything and I will not give them my information! Its like they dont trust anyone, which I understand however I have good insurance and its not necessary. They look at me like Im some kind of idiot when I say no. They carry on conversations, are rude to patients and can never seem to find things! But, thats not the worst thing theyve done!Im 5 months pregnant and have had blood work done 3 times now, same location. The first time, everything was fine, all results were fine & normal. The next time I went, someone filed my work incorrectly or read the results wrong. They said I had Hep B, which Ive never had, have been vaccinated for and could not possibly have got. This is a horrible thing for someone to hear, especially someone who is pregnant! Going through hell, more tests, calls from my doctor and another blood test, they then said I was a carrier. Again, not possible! Nothing made sense, so I went to a different lab. Results came back negative for all!So, someone at this lab read my results wrong that 1 time and Ive been stressed beyond belief for no reason! You dont do that to anyone! Especially someone whos pregnant! Ill never go back.

Front desk personnel can be rude and unprofessional - it’s “luck of the draw” on getting someone who knows how to interact with the public. Often, it is someone who does a good job with a pleasant attitude. The problem is, when you allow one or two people who are totally incompetent to be the “face” of your office, a bad reputation will develop quickly. People don’t forget being treated with rudeness and disrespect. Be more selective about who you hire - then supervise them! (Phelbotomists are great at their jobs and courteous.)

Unfortunately, the tech is the only nice person who works here but good luck having the patience to get back and be seen. The front office workers are horrible. Horrid. They lack appropriate customer service, are rude, on there own time, dont provide direction to incoming patients and the general atmosphere is moot. Ive gone a couple times and now go elsewhere. On the positive side, its clean and you can watch BET 😂 instead of CNN, read or other ways to be impersonal right back until your turn!

Most unprofessional and uninviting atmosphere I have ever encountered at a lab. From the second we walked in the door it seemed like we were bothering them. Tech rolling their eyes, saying my insurance card is a dental card (only one I ever used), cannot process basic standing orders. Manager comes over and magically everything goes through. I will never go to this location again.

The wait time at this location is ridiculous. With the amount of patients that visit this location, you would think that more than 1 phlebotomist would be drawing blood. I have been here before and was disappointed with the wait time. After working in an outpatient lab for almost ten years, I know the difference between good patient service and the bare minimum.

Greatest experience ever! I knew when I walked out of the office this morning with my teen aged Sons I was going to write a review and after reading some of the negative comments, I definitely had to make sure that I followed through! Many people get mad and take the time to write a negative review but most will have a fine or wonderful experience and not to take the time to give Kudos where it should be given. My boys needed blood work and although my 14 year old has had it done many times, my almost 17 year old had not. He is not a sissy, just could never handle the sight of blood. Hes kind of grown out of it since hes gotten past it but still a little nervous, just mustard up the courage to finally go.My Mother in Law had an 8 AM appointment @ Quest on Oakwood Rd, theyre never busy so we decided afterward to run up to Lab Corp, Crain Towers, without an appointment. The boys have to go there because of different insurance. We know from experience with the youngest that this is a busy location, usually anywhere from 10-30 people waiting but it was early so we took a chance. Surprisingly it was not bad, 10 people total, some with appointments, some walk ins like us.We walked in, were greeted by Julie, signed in, and took a seat. It was 8:25 AM. We knew we may be skipped a little, not having an appointment, but very quickly Julie was getting everyone registered in the computer and then her help arrived and things moved even faster. Julie soon called us over, both boys at the same time, she was very friendly, polite, and well educated in what her job was. She processed us quickly, smiled, and then said just take a seat for another minute or two, it wont be long. Sure enough it wasnt but a minute or two.We were called back for the bloodwork, both boys at once again, we were greeted by Sherrell who was very friendly, went out of her way to joke with the boys because you know how 14 & 17 year old boys can be early in the AM, and were finished in about 3 minutes. Sherell was AWESOME! She asked the boys to confirm names & dobs, like she is suppose to, but had the kids laughing while doing so. She learned it was my oldest Sons first time & how he had problems with the sight of blood in younger years. She joked around with both kids, made them comfortable & at ease, all while completing her tasks quickly, and she even used the butterfly needle like you would normally do for a smaller child, but he didnt know that. Sherrell just wanted to make his first experience a pleasant one and it was. She really went out of her way to make everyone comfortable, have a fun experience while doing so, and also get us in & out quickly. We went with no real expectations or rush and were pleasantly surprised at how well the experience went and how fast we were in & out. We only interacted with these 2 ladies but the place was very cheerful, including the patients and the entire experience was smooth and very much appreciated. People do not get enough positive feedback when they do their job well and I walked out saying to our group that I would definately have to take the time to write a review. We really appreciated how well our visit and experience was. You could tell these ladies enjoyed their job and working with the public, not just to get a paycheck, but also for the rewarding feeling of helping others. They really made our morning!

This is definitely the worst LabCorp office I have ever visited. They recommended making an appt to expedite our visit, and we waited behind every person already ahead of us when he got there, even though our name was the only one on the appt side of the register. The woman in the front office was rudely yelling names out, while stuffing chips in her mouth and ignored us completely when we walked in, and didnt even look in our direction, let alone greet us. After giving all our insurance information before being seen, they never submitted anything to the insurance company and we got a bill for $499.00 for blood work. I had to make a special call to their billing dept. to straighten that out. This is the most poorly managed Labcorp, Ive been to and will NEVER go there again. I wish I could give them less than 1 star and 5 thumbs down!!
