I’ve been coming here with my 2007 Passat for several years. I came when one of the large Richmond VW dealers couldn’t fix a problem and didn’t seem to care. That was years ago and I haven’t been disappointed with my decision. These guys are great! They are honest and have at times told me I didn’t need to do a repair I thought I needed. I highly recommend them. I’ve recommended them to friends over the years. I will continue to do so.
I’ve taken my car here for multiple inspections, my most recent visit though was getting all 4 rotors and break pads replaced.. they did a great job, braking is so smooth! Mike is great about communicating and checking in. Great experience every time!
Mike, Curtis, and everyone else at Import has been fantastic in my opinion. I’ve brought them more than a couple of head scratchers (even on domestic vehicles) and they’ve handled it all in stride. Most recently they were able to order a used part that’s out of production, saving the brake system on my van. Great service from knowledgeable, respectful mechanics.
Mike and his team are great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and excellent communication. I highly recommend Import Autohaus!!!
Every time I’ve brought my car in Mike and his staff have been so helpful. I’ve never felt taken advantage of or over charged. They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced and truly seem to care about keeping people and their vehicles’ safe. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had made an appointment prior to yesterday for an appointment on 07/07/2021 advised to be there early first come first serve. I never heard anything from them. I stood was still in the area and checked for my vehicle and it was still in the same spot by 1100am. I called around 230 and was advised they were getting my car in. I got there at 355, and my car was not in and was asked I thought you had another vehicle. I never said that and stated that’s why my appt was in the morning.
Weve been taking our cars to the Import Autohaus in Innsbrook for almost 20 years. First with Curtis and now under Mike. The quality of service was excellent and they NEVER tried to up sell us. We keep all our cars maintained and in top service because I HATE buying a new car. My 98 Mercedes SUV has over 300,000 miles on it thanks to the guys at Import Autohaus. We literally wont go anywhere else.
We have used Import Autohaus for over 20 years and have always found their work to be first rate. They are very customer-centric.
These guys are great, and extremely reasonable. Theyve taken care of 3 of my Audis and a Porsche. They were able to fix a problem, after I went to the Audi dealership 3 times. Total trust with my cars.
This is a very good and reputable repair shop. They stand by there work and are very fair when it comes to diagnosis. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future.
I have a 2003 Mercedes SL500 convertible that had a hydraulic leak in the hard top convertible mechanism. It virtually made my convertible a permanent hard top and unusable. After the Mercedes dealership in town wouldn’t take on the job, Import Autohaus had it done in just a few days and much cheaper than the dealership would have charged. Outstanding work and great people to deal with. Thank you for saving my dream toy! Customer for life here.
Good people! Very good work at a great value. They have kept my 2005 Toyota Highlander Maintained for over 10 years now. Mike and the rest of the staff are professional, friendly, prompt with communications and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend them highly.
I own an ‘84 BMW M635CSI (euro spec) that I rarely let my family touch, let alone a stranger or mechanic I don’t know personally. That said, the car was in bad shape and hadn’t run in close to a year when I finally had the funds to bring it in. Did some research and landed on Import Auto.I brought it in to fix a faulty gas line, and left with a fixed fuel system, new hoses, new spark plugs, oil change, new battery and terminal connectors, shifter bearings, rear differential bearing, and a handful of other things. When Mike (owner) called to tell me what they’d done I was expecting to have to take out a second mortgage on my house. Instead I paid a completely reasonable price, for a car where literally every button, cap, and placard is in German.About a month later the power steering and brakes went out, so I brought it back to import auto. I trusted the reason for the issue was not related to their service, given everything else they’d worked on and how well the car drove before this happened, and I was right. I had a busted hydraulics belt. I fully expected to pay an inordinate amount of money to have it fixed but they had it sorted out in 3 days for about a third of what I expected to pay.West Broad Import Autohaus is a shop of car enthusiasts for car enthusiasts. They have an eye for detail and a professional, courteous attitude towards their customers. I will be taking my car back to them for as long as I own it. Can’t recommend their shop enough. Especially for German vehicles where you’re looking for expertise and precision but not the dealer’s shop price.
After a significant collision repair service followed by several months of non-use of my 2005 Jaguar XK8 and the retirement of my long-time Jaguar repair service, I was subject to several problems including a serious check-engine-light problem.I took my car to the the Innsbrook Import Autohaus facility. They fixed all my problems and were very cooperative (even to providing a chair so I could wait outside) when I returned with a couple of questions.
A very professional and customer centric organization. We were extremely pleased and saved a great deal of money on all the services completed on our Mercedes. I would highly recommend Import Autohaus in Innsbrook and appreciated the personal attention to detail from Mike the owner.
Extremely helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. Much better (and cheaper) than the thieves at the Audi dealership!
I always feel like Im in good hands at Import Autohaus. Im really grateful for the peace of mind they offer their clients. Their staff always gives you an honest opinion and a fair price when it comes to auto repairs. Im glad to trust them with all of our auto needs and would certainly recommend them to others!
The parts are always good quality. The female has been there over 30 yeats and is very knowledgeable. However the staff was not wearing face masks during Covid 19. I was concerned about that but i had mine on and hope everyone stays safe.
With all of the rain we have been having water came into my car floorboard on the drivers side. Mike told me on the phone that there was trash in a sunroof drain, which it was. They took care of it, dried my car out and made sure I had it back the very next day. They kept it over to ensure it was completely dried out.
They were able to get my car serviced in a timely manner on my schedule. Quality work that they stand behind.
I’ve been going to this location for years and with multiple cars. Curtis is great to work with. Highly recommend for anything your car needs.
I got tired of the over priced and poor customer service at the VW dealer,. I am glad I discovered Import Autohaus through a referral from a co-worker. Excellent service at a very fair price. I have had my car serviced here 3 times now (mileage service and a significant repair) and have been very happy with the outcome. Mike, the manager, is somebody I can trust.
I mixed up my appointment day, and they fit me in without a long wait. Work is always quality. The people are so nice. And they work to give you the best deal.
I discovered Import Autohaus when I needed them the most - my car started acting berserk on the way to work one morning. They took excellent care of my car, kept me in the loop before starting any work, and were genuinely pleasant to work with during an otherwise stressful incident. They finished the work quickly and the price was reasonable. Best of all my car is running great now. I will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone.
Import Autohaus has taken care of my classic Mercedes Benz roadster for 14 years. Great people and great service. I recommend them.
OK but wouldnt go back. I had some repairs done at this location and they were fine. I also was charged for looking at an issue they couldnt or wouldnt fix. Charged something like 50 bucks for checking for transmission codes, any parts store can check for free, partially my fault for not asking for more details on what they were doing when diagnosing my transmission.
Had routine maintenance and state inspection . All was done very well. Have used Autohaus before and was very satisfied with their work.
Great place knowledgeable staff great service
I had my Porsche service at autohaus for a service engine light fault and they recommended a tune up, and I agreed... I pick up the car and still was dealing with the same problem... so I took it in again . They did a diagnostic test and found a Vacuum leak.. so They “ Fixed” the problem...picked the car again and guess what? My Porsche was in worse shape... the car didn’t want to start, didn’t stayed in idle when on...all kinds of problems...my point is that, there aren’t everything that good reviews had said! and to top it off they special order so kind of valve to see if the would fix the problem, but they didn’t even bother to call me in to install the part... so in my book. They suck!!!
I stopped by for the state inspection without an appointment. No waiting time and got my car back in 20 minutes. The best experience I have ever had before. Absolutely recommended.
I had my low-beams suddenly go out on me one night so I took it in next morning hoping it could be done by sometime the next day. I was surprised to hear from them early that same afternoon that it was ready. They had a few additional suggested things that they saw while repairing it (tire rotation, headlight restore) but not nearly what I would get at Midas . Friendly and honest, Im taking my family cars there from now on!
Import Autohaus did a great job with my car repair. I highly recommend them
Import Autohaus is the most reputable group of auto mechanics I have found in the Richmond area. No hassle, no up sell, just what is the issue and how can we help fix it.As a hobby and as a car enthusiast, I have worked on cars my whole life. When Autohaus tells me what the problem is I can trust that what they are telling me is true.I would recommend them to anyoneBrooks GordonGlen Allen VA
Carmax referred me to imports Autohaus as a overflow mechanic, as Carmax was booked for a week. I spoke with Mike who was very helpful, knowledgeable and VERY professional! He was upfront and honest about the repair on my car and pricing. After the work was completed, I picked up my car during my lunch break and it only took moments. No waiting... I would recommend Imports Autohaus to anyone who needs a honest, reliable, mechanically inclined establishment.
Great experience. Got me in the same day and charged less than half for the diagnostic than I paid at the dealer. Knowledgeable and professional associates.
I’ve taken my 2001 Mercedes E320 to Import Autohaus Innsbrook 3 times over the past year, and I will continue to do so. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all they do great work! If you’re looking for an alternative to the overpriced dealer service department Import Autohaus Innsbrook is your place.
Friendly, professional service.
Honest and fair - there is nothing else that anyone should look for in a mechanic. They work on all makes and models. In my experience, they respect appointments and have always delivered in the timeframe they commit to.
Completely off the mark on diagnosing what needed to be fixed, and repair estimate. The original problem re-surfaced less than 48 hours after repairs were made and the bill was paid.
Customers don’t matter for them. I waisted substantial amount on trying to repair a burning smell and the problem still remains. My car went back missing engine plastic caps. I am really frustrated and disappointed. This is for W Broad Street only.
As always a first class experience at Import Autohaus.
Very professional place.
