We used CJ when we bought our house in 2011 and again when we sold our house this past June. He’s an excellent real estate agent and we always felt like he was fighting hard for us. When we first bought the house in 2011, he went out of his way and did a few side jobs on the house that was required for the inspection. When we sold our house this June, he helped make sure the process was smooth and recommended we do the temporary home warranty, which saved us in the long run. Very disappointed with CJ in our first home buying experience. CJ was unprofessional throughout many stages of the process. We ended up getting everything settled but there was an extreme amount of frustration and confusion. He would not respond for several days during crucial time crunches throughout the whole process including the initial offer, home inspection, negotiation and closing. He was able to get the job done but I would not recommend him if you are looking for someone that has timely and/or clear communication.

Our house had been on the market for over 400 days with a number of price reductions and too many walk throughs to count. No real feedback from the walkthroughs other than the hill in our backyard. We made the decision to change realtors and interviewed a few local realtors that had been recommended by friends and then CJ because I had seen his ads at local businesses. My husband was watching our daughter while I met with the realtors and CJ was the only one that made the extra effort to ensure he was fully involved in all of the conversations. He also came with spreadsheets and data which we are nerds for! We knew Team CJ was the right fit. CJ and Shelly came through and gave us a lot of recommendations on small things we could do to help market our house, telling us to do as as much or as little as we wanted, they’d still get it sold. We did most of it in about 2 weeks. CJ marketed the heck out of the house including a prelisting. We officially went on market on a Friday morning and by that evening we had an offer for over list, which, did I mention that we listed higher than we were when we took it off the market 2 weeks prior?! I first met CJ when my buddy needed a better place than my gravel driveway to park his harley davidson motorcycle. CJ was renovating an investment property next to my house and had no problem allowing us to park the bike there overnight.
