My dad took his Maserati in to get the tires changed this past weekend and they returned the car with a dent on the roof. My dad noticed the dent immediately and brought it to their attention. The staff denied any responsibility and was acting very defensive and was trying to rush my dad out before he even noticed the dent. My father then received a letter via email later that day denying any responsibility. My dad washes his car religiously every week and would have noticed the dent. He keeps his car in a garage at home and at work so it makes no sense that the dent didnt happen while with Criswell. My dad is an older man and being taken advantage of by Criswell. Shameful...

These guys rock. Phenomenal customer service. They went above and beyond to make our purchase as smooth and possible and were the most accommodating car dealership I have ever been to. I wanted a Maserati when I walked through the door and left with an Alfa Romeo off the showroom floor. While it was half of what I came to spend, they never pushed me one way or the other. Best car buying experience of my life. I’ve done this more than a few times, especially with Maserati. Danny and Krystie were efficient, top caliber, knowledgeable professionals. I met Danny via a car that I wanted last year which wound up getting sold before I could pull the trigger. I kept his number handy. When I saw some thing that I wanted this year, by the time I texted him, we had a deal done within an hour just over texting. I made the 30 hour round trip drive to trade my vehicle and scoop up a 2020 Ghibli SQ4. This is my fourth Maserati and by far the best one I’ve had. Better than Porsche, Jaguar, anything American or Japanese.So impressed with Criswell.

Grew up in Maryland and presently live In Ohio. Did a car search from Ohio to Maryland as to how far I would go to purchase a car. I actually picked two other dealerships to do the transaction. One dealer barely responded at all. The second one was way to high in price. I had reached out to Criswell and had the pleasure of working with Micheal Disogra . After finding the new Maserati GranTurismo I was interested in on the Criswell website, a telephone call was it took to get the ball (or wheels) rolling. Having never purchased a vehicle sight unseen, I was not sure what to expect or the process by which this would be accomplished, but James Tan was very professional, helpful and honest with every aspect of my purchase. From answering questions and sending photos to emailing necessary paperwork for completion of the transaction and then meeting the auto transport truck to ship the car to me, James was top-notch. I could not have asked for a more seamless car buying experience!

There was no pressure, most of my dealings were over the phone initially because after dealing with local dealers and getting little results I decided to search online and that brought me to Criswell... I cant imagine the amount of patience these two had, but it was alot and several dozen calls later I finally found the car I wanted and took the 3 hour trip to get it... THIS TOOK TO LONG AND TO MANY MILES !At the end of AUGUST I took a trip the car it had developed a fuel pump problem so I got a code off the computer located a service bulletin online and took it to the dealer where the car was check and it needed the fuel pump replaced. Alfa road side service was very helpful getting me a rush on the pump (the towing was also covered) the fuel pump was ordered and on the drive home the a rock damaged the windshield. There was a lot of trucks and construction on the beltway and 270. I had to drive an hour each way because the other local dealers I used closed down...to replace the windshield and re-calibrate the camera it was 2600$ which I paid for was eventually reimbursed by insurance co.the first towthey replaced the fuel pump and the car SAT while the windshield was ordered and then replaced when a few days later I got the car back. The car had another 300 more miles then when dropping it off to get the fuel pump replaced and when starting the car on the dash it said some safety features would not work until the windshield camera was re-calibrated. So the car had to go back to re-calibrate windshield camera ...the second towit took several weeks because no loner vehicle was available for a while and the second trip the tow truck driver wanted another 30$ more money to deliver the car an extra 6 miles out of his range or 45 miles and said I should take the car to Tysons corner it was in range but the job had already been paid for so no they also would not give me a ride a to get a loaner from the dealer with a scheduled appointment.THIS IS NOW NOVEMBER ... and finally after 3 trips and many phone calls +300 miles on the car during service a few more days I got the car back and the camera was calibrated !I was told during COVID they are short handed and that the cameras did not always need to be calibrated .... the windshield was dealer only item the fuel pump was under warranty this was why the car was at the dealer. The camera re-calibration should of been checked while at the dealer before returning the car to me . This took well over 2 month in all to complete the repairs to get the car to run and drive properly.thanks - Andrew Wilgus

I had the pleasure of visiting Criswell Maserati recently to take a look at a Maserati Ghibli and was politely assisted from the moment I walked in the door by James Tan. James was absolutely outstanding to deal with! He was very attentive to my many detailed questions from the start and was extremely patient with all of my requests including multiple test drives and even putting the Ghibli side by side to my old car (Mercedes E350) to measure size differences and compare features. Since Criswell has such a large inventory of Maseratis to choose from, James had to move several other cars for me to test drive the specific one I was interested in - he did so with professionalism, patience, and with no pressure on me for a sale. Thanks to the attention I got from James (he spent an entire afternoon with me) and his facilitation of me getting a great deal on the Ghibli, I bought it and drove it home that afternoon. James even put a big red bow on the new car and took a picture (attached) of me and my son with it to help celebrate the purchase. As part of the overall process, the Criswell sales manager Robert Buchanan was also friendly and easy to work with and the finance/business manager (Krystie Zhang) was also outstanding in getting me a great financing arrangement. I highly recommend Criswell Maserati and James Tan as your go to person when you get there!

I live 1000 miles away. Found the car of my dreams here at Criswell. Flew in and drove the vehicle home (1000 miles). During the drive home I noticed the wheel alignment was off. Called the dealer, spoke with my sales person over and over again about the alignment. Decided to speak with the sales manager and he said go to my nearest dealer, he would take care of it. Went to nearest dealer and manager would not pay or compensate for the alignment. Notice many scratches and sunroof issues as well.I’m not a complainer and I’m not picky, but I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Even if they had the vehicle of your dream, be patient and go elsewhere.I hope my review helps you.

When I leased this Alfa Romeo - I said I will lease this Alfa BUT I want a loaner anytime the car needs service - Criswells management agreed. Now I need service and a recall service performed and I am told I am NOT eligible for a loaner. I will return to BMW when this lease ends. I can go to ANY BMW dealer and get service and always a clean - new - BMW loaner. (Alfa Romeo does NOT have a reliable dealer network)

Criswell Maserati did a good job performing the services that I requested. They were very difficult to get in touch with to make an appointment and did not return multiple messages, claiming that they were having problems with their phone system. They were supposed to have a loaner car for me to use for several hours, but they did not have one available. Fortunately, they took my car right back and completed my service quickly so I did not have to wait long. The service is expensive but probably about what you would expect from an exclusive luxury/sports car dealer. Overall, the service experience was good but not quite what you would expect from a Maserati dealer.

Then when you call with a simple question the sales manager is extremely rude and tells you he dont have time to deal with a cheapskate who didnt buy a brand new car. Had a great experience at Criswell Maserati. I was looking for a GT Sport for a long while and was getting nowhere fast at other dealerships that I had been previously speaking with. Criswell Maserati had an excellent and knowledgeable staff and was able to answer all questions about the engineering and performance of the GT. In addition to the technical proficiency, the sales staff (particularly George) catered to my needs and immediately arranged for a GT test drive. Furthermore, the General Manager, Omar, took a great deal of time to sit down with me one-on-one to discuss the pros/cons of leasing vs. buying used. While I was making up my mind on the purchase over the next few days, both George and Omar made themselves available both during and after business hours to make this the best car purchase experience Ive had (and Ive had quite a few). If you are looking for a Maserati (or used exotic / luxury) in the DC corridor, I would highly recommend stopping in and visit Criswell Maserati.

Although I ALWAYS receive great service at Criswell Maserati unfortunately I cant say the same for Maserati Roadside Assistance. They loaded my Ghibli onto a flatbed from my home for transport to Criswell. I was notified by Criswell service 2 days later that my vehicle arrived with a flat tire. I drove my car minutes prior to the flatbed arriving to my home and was present when the driver inspected and loaded my car. There ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT a flat tire when it was loaded. I contacted the tow service and was told that I needed to call roadside assistance. I did over a week ago and was told someone would be contacting me within a few days...I still have not received a call. Now I am out almost $400 for the new tire/installation .

However, it appears that even as a Service Director, Maserati of North America has been less then timely and responsive to resolve issues. After nearly a year issues remain. I purchased a used car from Criswell Maserati and love the car and was generally satisfied with the purchase. The price was fair and the process was mostly quick and efficient. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I brought up a concern to the salesperson I was dealing with regarding a damaged driver seat. The back of the seat had been broken off and I was made aware of this from a service report. The salesman checked and assured me it was all taken care of. Less than 24 hours after my purchase the entire backing of the seat detached. I called them back and told them and they told me there was nothing they could do. Now I am stuck dealing with this issue on my own. For an otherwise great experience, I was dissatisfied to find out they wouldn’t offer any sort of compensation for an issue I brought up prior to purchase.

I my experience was wonderful. I had brought my Stelvio in to get a check up. And the service department in Germantown MD was amazing and they did not take too long. I will no long go to Stafford Alfa Romeo of Tysons Corner. I was over paying for services I do not need at the time. Things their service department was to make me aware of they had not and for that they lost my trust because I felt cheated. I was shocked to learn that the service on my leased 2017 Maserati G would be $2,000. In addition, they told me my back tires were shot and would need to be replaced for another $1,000. The car has 6500 miles on it (800 were on it when I leased it in September 2017). Of course, they tried to talk me into a new lease ! The general/regional manager just happened to be on-site so I talked to him, along with the dealership manager and service manager. Everyone was extremely nice but no one could explain why I needed new tires after so few miles. Other than - its a Maserati. Most likely the last Maserati I will drive.

Service department is teribbble. I had a maintenance plan and was 3 days late to be exact they didn’t bother calling Maserati and told me I had to pay for my pocket. Reached the customer service of Maserati and was able to get them approve. Promised me a seat railing under warranty didn’t approve and wanted me to pay out of pocket.

I had the worst experience test driving a Maserati in this dealership. The staff (sale person) was so uneducated about the car that even couldnt remember the name of interior colors. He even drove the car to show me the options, but he hit the car to the curb while showing me how the rear view camera works!!I have test drove and own all sort of luxury cars, but I never had this kind of unprofessional staff responsible for this kind of sport/ luxury brands. The employee even interrupted my test drive because I was pushing the car! imagine! I was not buying a melon.In comparison, the VA dealership was really helpful, I test drove another one there without issue, as I was test driving more expensive cars.I do not recommend it.Regards

If you are looking for an Alfa Romeo or a Maserati then Alberto is definitely the guy you want to call! Alberto knows everything about these Italian cars, and loves them. I already knew what I wanted and Alberto worked with me over the phone to get me that exact car, in a very short time. When I went to pick my Alfa up Alberto also took the time to show me all the other cars at the dealership. I can truly say I enjoyed spending extra time there and getting to see the other cars. There was no pressure and Alberto was happy to satisfy my curiosity about any of the cars I asked him about at Criswell. Thanks again for getting me the car I wanted and the easy purchase of my new vehicle!

I have driven over 50 miles for the last 4 years to get my 2006 GranSport serviced at Criswell, The last two years have been the best since Scott Oliver arrived. He gives me such personal attention when I bring my car in. He always discusses service needs in detail and makes cost-conscious recommendations. He makes sure Robert Fox lets me look at the car with him and explains any service needs and any questions I have. I have never had such personalized service. I feel like the three of us are a team working to do what is best for my automobile!I recommend Criswell Maserati to any one who has a Maserati in Baltimore. It is worth the drive for the quality and caring service Scott and his team provide.

This was my first car purchase so I did hours and hours of research. I found 2 specific cars that were my favorite so I decided to go visit both - a Honda Accord and a Toyota Camry. Both were exactly what I was looking for in price, mileage, and age. They are both reliable makes/models so my decision was to be determined by driving each car. I chose to visit the Camry first because I wanted the Accord more based off of looks, and I wanted to be sure I see both. Needless to say, I knew I wanted to check out the Accord after visiting the Camry.From when I first called Criswell Maserati and spoke with Karifa, I could tell how friendly he was and even gave me his personal cell phone number so we could text if anything changed or if I had any questions. When I arrived at the dealership, he was just as warm and friendly as I expected. He works at a Maserati dealership so a little Honda Accord probably isnt that big of a sale for him, but he made me feel very important and did everything he could to help me - what a guy!I saw the Accord, sat in it, and knew right away this was exactly what I wanted. I mean, come on, if it was good enough for a Maserati dealership to hold onto and sell, I knew was way beyond good enough for me.Karifa wasnt pushy, answered every question I had with expertise and even helped me setup my own car insurance on the phone. He was awesome to work with and if I ever consider purchasing a Maserati in the future (lets hope thats even possible) I will 100% go straight to him. I consider him my friend and genuine person that anyone would be lucky enough to work with.I also had the pleasure of working with Chrystie (Im sorry if I didnt spell your name correctly!!) with financing the car. She was incredibly knowledgeable, gave me great tips for building my credit and really made the car-buying process easy. Thank you again!I expect nothing less from a dealership that sells cars worth over one hundred thousand dollars, but still...I had an amazing experience purchasing my car and I think anyone would benefit from working with these individuals when looking for a car. I fortunately found one that was within my price range at a dealership that was way out of my league, nevertheless, they treated me like I was purchasing the best car on the lot.Thank you guys again! You made me LOVE buying my car and helped me find MY car. I cannot recommend them enough.
