We called and left a message yesterday to see if we could pop in for a quick look at our trailer (20 mins up the road). We drove 1 1/2 hours to the Elemdorf location, trailer looked at, fixed and we are back on the road.....still no return call from these guys. A 2 rating because they did help us with an exchange about a month ago with no issues.

I was stressing and worried I was going to burn up my axle. Had tried two other trailer repair shops and told we are too busy to help. Called Georgetown Big Tex and they told me that they would squeeze me in and take care of me. I made it there and the knowledgeable mechanics diagnosed my problems and had me on my way. Our company has purchased at least 8 different flatbed trailers from this location. It has been a first rate experience across the board.We have never had a problem with the Big Tex brand of trailer and we pull them literally all across the country in our business. Furthermore the selection of inventory has always been terrific. They have what we need every time we need something. Customer service is great and the prices are so competitive that there hasnt been the need to burn up a lot of time shopping different dealerships to find the right trailer. Just call Joe and get the best price right up front. Customer care doesnt end when you pull off the lot either. We have found them to be quite responsive with registration and licensing. These people have the worst customer service ever! I purchased this trailer from Big Tex but don’t expect any service after the sale. I had to replace an axle and a fender on an 18 month old Legend trailer. The problem was that I took the trailer in on January 12th 2021 and the service guy said it would take a couple of weeks to get the parts… ok. After three months and multiple phone calls it was still not repaired. Don’t bother to leave them a message because they won’t return your call. They have the worst communication ever. In summary they only had to order two parts and both once received (after three months) were the wrong parts. I finally got my trailer back but I will not purchase another trailer from them nor have them do any repairs on my trailer ever. In the future I will find a reputable company to purchase and repair my trailer needs and suggest you do the same. I hope this helps someone from going through the same frustration that I experienced with this company.

These guys went out of their way to make sure I got the trailer I wanted. When I got there they helped me hook everything up and made sure I was secure. Keith the mechanic even put a new chip in my truck so all of the lights worked, oh and cut my hitch lock because I lost the key! The sells rep Chad was awesome, gave me advice on how to fix my personal trailer and landed me my new one! Definitely recommend them!

The worst buying experience of a trailer for my company.After two weeks my enclosed cargo trailer was leaking water inside the door. They told me to bring it back to the manufacturer.They told me they would apply to the county for my license plates. After a month I called to remind them. They wouldnt take my phone calls. I went in I asked where the plates were and the sales manager started swearing at me! My plates arrived three MONTHS after I bought the trailer.Terrible customer service and terrible products.

I purchased a 14 ET 18 equipment trailer. Mark (Salesman) was super helpful and efficient. This is only the second trailer Ive every purchased so I had lots of questions and Mark was very willing to address all my questions. Angel prepped my trailer for delivery and did the walk around showing me all of its features and operation. Very positive experience and a competitive price on a great trailer

I left very happy. I brought in what I ( and they ) thought would be a pretty quick and easy job. Turns out, I brought in a real PITA. They kept at it and did a great job. Original quote was for 1 hr labor. The job took 2+ hours ( not any fault of theirs ), and they still only charged for the 1 hour.The kind of people you like to do repeat business with.

The location is easy to find. I was greeted quickly and treated politely and professionally. They have a wide variety of high quality trailers. The whole transaction went quickly and easily. I wish Big Tex had a location close to Cedar Park/ Leander but I would recommend this location to a friend.

2 out of ten, weak build compared to other trailer locations. Save your time and money. Soon after I bought my trailer I found out other manufacturers refer to them as Big Flex. They also dont do full warranty, only certain parts/ its a hit and miss if they can replace it.

Id give ZERO stars if Google would allow it! I went into the Georgetown store last Friday, late afternoon. I was looking for a couple trailers for by business, the lady in the store when I entered was on the phone customer but told me shed get someone to help me as soon as she was done. About 30 seconds later an older guy walks in wearing a ragged sleeves torn off t-shirt, I assume he is a customer and say hi. Thats when the guy responds with hi Im Tony, the general manager. How can I help you? Im stunned at this point, and think to myself who the hell hired this guy, and do they know he interacts with customers looking like this? I introduce myself and tell Tony that Im looking for a couple trailers, he then walks me too his office to talk about what Im needing. Now I notice a black polo style shirt hanging on his office door and assume hell excuse himself and putnitnon before talking business, NOPE! He doesnt even seem to notice it hanging there! At this point Im already getting a bad taste in my mouth, but I need some trailers because my business is so busy right now. I take a seat and tell Tony what Im looking for, he fumbles around with the scattered papers on his desk for a minute before he finds his inventory list. He tells me they have a few of the dump trailer Im looking for as well as the utility trailer I need. At this point I have already decided that Im probably not buying any trailers from this guy. He tells me he has a few of the trailers Im looking at out on the lot and offers to take me to look at them. I tell yes lets look at them and I stand up to follow him outside, I think now surely hell put that polo shirt on to take me out to see these trailers. NOPE! He walks past it again as if its not there!! We get outside to where the dump trailers are and I begin to ask some questions about the 14LX he is showing me, I ask how wide it is and he responds with 83 inches I say So about 7 feet then, ok. Tony then says NO its 83 inches. Im standing here now in disbelief as I think 83 inches is just shy of 7ft! but I let it go and say ok. As we are walking around the trailer so I can look at it from every side Tony lifts the bottom of his shirt to wipe his forehead, with no regard to the fact he is showing his gut in front of a customer! At this point I was done, and my phone just happened to ring. I told him it was or of my guys on a jobsite and I was going to have to come back about the trailer another day because I had to go. I notice while Im saying this to him he is playing with his teeth with his right hand, it appears he has fake teeth and is popping them in and out. He says ok no problem brotha then reaches to shake my hand with the hand he just had all up in his mouth! Im completely disgusted now and ignore the attempted hand shake, and head for my truck.As long as Big Tex has this Tony guy as the store manager I will NEVER go back to the Georgetown store to purchase anything and will not allow any of my employees to either. I am shocked and completely appalled that Big Tex has this guy as a manager of one of their stores, all I can come up with is that he must be related to someone in their corporate office to have been given this job!

Worst customer service ever, they were rude, short and absolute no help with the questions I had. We purchased our trailer and it was for one price online and they marked it up 2 grand. They told me $650 for straps and charged $780, When I asked about the cheater bar for the straps they installed he said it was separate. Why you wouldnt include the tool you have to have to use the straps, is ridiculous. All around awful experience.

I wish there were enough words to explain how these guys literally saved our butts in so many ways. Weve been planning a trip to camp in Oklahoma and bought a little bumper trailer. We noticed that bearings, lugnuts etc. Were SUPER HOT. We, thank god happened to be right by big tex. We were a panicked mess. In 1 hour they took us in looked at our trailer, diagnosed it, didnt try to sell us anything, told us our trailer wasnt equipped for the long drive (we got lied to by the people who sold us the trailer) we decided to rent a uhaul they said we could house our other trailer there, but then thought why not buy a trailer from them. They gave us a great deal on a trailer and bought ours for trade in and changed out the hitch ball. We had no appointment and just stopped in randomly. They helped us out in a HUGE jam and we will NEVER go anywhere else for trailer needs. Thank you guys so so so much.

Bad business. They quoted us an out the door price but then added TTL and other fees once we came in. Out the door by definition should include all of these. Felt like a bait and switch. We asked how they define out the door and Megan blaimed it on Tony being new. However, based on previous reviews, this seems to be a standard quoting practice for them. Bait and switch.We went in on a Saturday in June to purchase a 22GNTandem Dual Wheel Gooseneck Trailer. When we walked in Megan did not greet us as customers, no good morning, no how are you, no how can I help. She walked right past us in to another room and when she returned said what do you guys need... Then she said shed be right with us but didnt mention that she was with another customer and it would be about an hour before we could pay for the trailer we choose. A heads up would have been nice.The worst part of the experience is that she said she inspects each trailer herself. However, she failed to notice that the trailer had a major defect and was sitting about 5 inches higher on one side in the front; The trailer is warped. We called after driving it about 10 miles. She said to bring it in the following Wednesday or Thursday to have Angel look at it but to call ahead to let them know were coming. We called Wednesday and she said they were too busy to look at it and that wed have to wait until Monday. They didnt catch this mistake and now we have to loose time and money because they sold us a defected trailer??? She didnt seem concerned on the phone at all.So, we called Big Tex Trailer in Buda. They said to bring it in right away and they all looked at it. Every employee came out to inspect it and determined that Big Tex Georgetown assembled it incorrectly and that its warped. They couldnt fathom how Georgetown missed this! They took pictures and filed an insurance claim and are ordering a completely new trailer. Weve had to drive back to Buda now a few times to get this taken care of and are still waiting on a new trailer but at least Buda is taking this seriously and doing everything they can; We cant say the say the same for Georgetown!Now, Megan in Georgetown has not called us to make sure we were taken care of at all nor followed up with us about our faulty trailer. They sold us a defected trailer, with a bad inspection, and then just blew us into the wind. Bad business. Weve lost gas, time, money and patience. We will never shop at Big Tex Georgetown again and make sure all those we work with shop in Buda instead, too.REPLY to their review response:We have called. You had multiple opportunities to resolve this and you still havent attempted to or called us back. There is absolutely no chance to earn our future business when you cant even manage to fix your mistake. I have never dealt with such terrible business management.

I was quoted $4800 for a new trailer out the door. When I came in to pay for it the lady said it was $6000. Wish she could of said she had made a mistake on the quote instead of playing stupid & dumb. The ladys name was Meagan. Stay away from this dealer.
